Last time, Anna went to talk to Raven after the others found out the truth about who her father is and what she is destined to do. Raven refused to speak with Anna so the girl decided to tell her the truth. The truth which is she is an angel and she was born in heaven. Yep, a nice surprise there huh?
How did Anna end up on Earth? What happened to get her kicked out? How will Raven react to this? And what will happen if Trigon finds out?
There is only one way to find out the answers to all of this. I want to thank my friend Wolf2 for his help on the story, I appreciate it my friend. I don't own anything of Teen Titans just my OC. Thanks to everyone for the reviews and I hope you like how this chapter goes.
Fall of an Angel
Narration
My full name is Annabeth. My mother was an angel who fell in love with my father, who also was an angel before he came to earth. He was sent there after he killed a monster who would later become his rival. You may have heard of them, but I won't tell you who they were until I'm ready to tell you.
I can tell you that they have been in many stories and are well known. My father's real name though isn't what you people called him now. His real name is Gabriel, when he was an angel. My mother loved him, but he chose the life of a mortal so the two could never be together.
She tried again a year after he defeated his greatest foe and after my father's heart was broken when he lost the woman he fell for. My mother helped him heal and together they created me. Despite my father being mortal he was still able to make me and my mother gave birth to me.
The angels however couldn't allow this, especially since a mortal and angel couldn't have a child together. God however, saw something in me and chose to let me stay in heaven. My father died of old age, but then joined us in heaven making our family whole again and we were happy together again. That was until I grew older and I saw my first view of mankind.
I saw humans waging war on one another. I have seen them rape and murder both women and children. The things I've seen made me hate humans. I didn't see why we should care for them.
I never understood it and I even asked my parents why? All they told me is human make mistakes, but there are some who do good things. I've seen only a little of their kindness, but it wasn't enough. I still didn't like them and I wish there was something I could do to stop this.
So one day when I came to earth to explore I encountered a group of what you call bikers. They had surrounded two little girls and they were drunk. They wanted to rape the girls and make them their slaves. The girls begged them to let them go, but the men showed so such mercy.
My hatred reached a breaking point and I couldn't stand around to do nothing. So I broke the rules and I took my sword in hand. What I did next surprised even myself. I killed them all.
I spared none of them and I showed no mercy. When it was all over I turned to the girls who were crying and were in shocked. I knew they could see me since there are some of them who could see angels at a young age. So, when they saw what they did I saw fear.
Not fear from the bikers, but fear of me. I realized what I've done and went home. When I got there I was arrested and brought before the arch-angel Michael. He had spoke to God and wanted to talk to me about my actions.
Heaven
"Why Anna," he said. "Why did you kill those men?"
I didn't respond. How could I? I would always turn to my parents for guidance. They weren't there though. They were banned from seeing me. So I didn't have them to help me get through this.
"I killed them…to save two innocent lives." That was my excuse. A bad one and I know now it wouldn't fly, but back then I thought it would.
"Two innocent lives?" he asked almost as it didn't impress him. "You ended their innocents when you killed those men with no mercy, no remorse, and you did it while traumatizing them. So their innocents are dead anyways."
I know now why he was mad, but back then I didn't know why he was so upset. "So, you would have rather I let them rape those girls or do something worst?" I asked getting upset. "Isn't our jobs to protect the humans? If so then why are you upset?
"Because you killed them in cold blood!" he shouted at me. I've heard him raise his voice, but not like this. "You killed them out of anger and you didn't care. Heck, you don't care right now do you?"
I didn't, but deep down I did. I saw the fear in the eyes of the girls. They were afraid of me and what I did. They saw what an angel did and that was bad. I may have cost them to lose their belief in us.
"You're right I did and you know what? I don't care," I would soon regret saying those words. "We are supposed to protect humanity? Why? They are greedy, power hungry, murderous, and destructive creatures!"
"Anna, enough." He tried to stop me, but I wouldn't stop talking.
"If we are to save them then we need to use our powers to destroy the evil in the world and save those who can be saved!" every part of my conscious tried to tell me to stop, but I would not listen. "If God wasn't so lazy and being useless then we would-…" And with those last words I sealed my faith as he interrupted me.
"ENOUGH!" I soon calmed down and realized what I said. I crossed the line and I was going to pay for it. "I should send you down to hell where you would live with those traitors who turned on us!"
I was in for it now and I was now afraid to be kicked out. I didn't want to go there and I was willing to do anything to stop that.
"However," he spoke in a more gentle tone. "God believes you deserve another chance and has chosen your punishment as well."
"My punishment?" I asked confused until I began to feel weaker.
I feel on my knees and felt a burning sensation coursing from my back. I look behind and see my wings burning away. I then felt my armor breaking apart. My sword was gone and my skin begins to change.
"God has command that until you learned what it means to be human you will be banished from heaven. You will spend the rest of your life on earth with the humans and you must earn your place back. If you die before this is accomplished…there is only one place for you."
I stared at him and begged him not to do this. "Please Michael, tell him no to do this. Please."
Michael however shook his head. "I'm sorry. I'll tell your parents and hope they will understand."
The next thing I knew I was dragged below through the floor and the last thing I heard was my mother calling out my name before I blacked out.
End of Narration (Present)
"The next thing I remember is waking up in a room," said Anna as she continues explaining what happened. "Several priests came in and told me I was in the Vatican. They told me they found me outside the church and took me inside. After that I told them what happened and they gave me a job. To become a hunter and well…here I am."
Raven is stunned by what she was just told. She couldn't believe that this girl, who saved her life, was in fact an angel. Half angel at least and was kicked ut of heaven for what she did. She began feeling bad for her, especially after how she acted towards her.
She now wants to try helping the girl and comfort her. "I'm sorry, I didn't know."
Anna shook her head. "It's okay, I should have told you guys in the first place."
"Soooo, I take it you haven't done exactly what God asked you to do?" Raven asked.
Anna lets out a sad sigh giving Raven her answer. "To know how to be human is something I could never understand. I have been living here for a year and I have done everything like what a human would do. I ate like a human, I breathed like one, bathe like one, make one with another human like one, and I even feel the same pain like one. Nothing, it hasn't worked."
Raven narrowed her eyes at Anna when she heard one of the things the girl did. "You had sex with another guy?"
Anna rolls her eyes. "Hell no, I don't like guys that way. I like girls and I have had sex with two of them."
For some reason Raven felt upset about this. She doesn't know why, but she felt mad. She was also shocked that Anna had sex with women and not men. That would explain why she was hitting on her.
"Wait, isn't it a sin in that religion for same sex couples to be together?" Raven asked.
Anna blows a raspberry. "That was written by some assholes who were against the whole idea and couldn't find love. God doesn't mind since it's their choice to love who they want to love. If it's one of those child lovers, then oh yeah he has a problem with it."
"W-wait, you met God?" Raven asked shocked that her friend met the creator.
"Not in person," Anna replied. "But, I learned from people who are close to the big guy and so there is no problem with a woman making love with another woman."
"So, for you those women you had sex were all one night stands?" Raven asked who's tone hints a bit of anger.
Anna noticed this and smiles. "More like friends with benefits, why? Are you jealous?'
Anna noticed this and smiles. "Are you jealous?"
Raven's face begins to brighten up. "N-no, of course not don't be silly. I just don't like people who sleep with someone without the love."
Anna's grin grew bigger. "Soooo, you want to sleep with me because you love me?"
Raven's face was now as red as a tomato. "I-I'm not into girls!"
Anna begins to snicker and knew Raven was lying. "Sure, whatever you say Raven."
Raven turns away from Anna upset about all of this. Anna noticed this and decides to calm the girl down.
"I'm sorry. The truth is I only had sex with one of the two girls, but it didn't mean anything."
Raven turns towards Anna after calming down. "So, you just did it just for sex?"
Anna shook her head. "She was my first love. I met her on my first mission. We fell in love and I wanted to be with her."
"What happened?" Raven.
Anna's expression turned to sadness. "I didn't approve of the stuff she does and so we broke up. It didn't go very well, but I think things have calmed down since then."
Raven felt bad for getting upset with Anna again. She was like her in many ways. Both fell in love and were betrayed. The only difference is both come from different worlds.
"It was hard breaking up with her," said Anna wiping away a tear from her eye. "But, we both moved on and tried to find someone we can be with who we can both fall in love with."
"Is that why you hit on he?" Raven asked.
Anna smiles a little and nods her head. "A little, but what can I say I like you. You're not like my ex and I'm glad."
"How am I different?" Raven asked. "In case you forgot, I'm the daughter of Trigon. I'm a half-demon, which means I have a demonic side within me."
"So?" Anna asked moving an inch closer to Raven.
"That means I could end up turning evil and try to kill you," Raven explained. "Do you see how this wouldn't work?"
Anna shook her head and grabs Raven's hands. "I don't care. It's not what you are that I like about you."
"Then what?" Raven asked wondering why Anna likes her.
"I guess it could be those beautiful violet eyes," she moves her hand against Raven's hair. "You're soft and pretty hair and your lovely personality. I also like spending time with you and how we have so much in common."
"R-R-Really?" Raven asked surprised by Anna's response. "You don't think I'm creepy?"
"I don't care," Anna replied wrapping her arms around Raven. "You are not like your father. You saved lives, you help your friends, and you've protected this city for years. You're father is trying to get you to believe you are bad, but you're not."
"I don't know," said Raven who is still unsure. "I mean even if you're right I doubt it will work. I'm a half-demon and you're an angel. Besides, like I said I'm not into girls"
Anna nods her head. "I'll take my chances and let's spend some more time together. I think you'll like this side of the road."
Raven lets out a small sigh. "I'll think about it…in the meantime I'm going to try getting some sleep."
Anna takes out her medallion and gives it to Raven. "This was given to me by my best friend. He told me it has the power to protect the user from any demonic influence or powers. This should help you fall to sleep."
Raven takes it and can sense the strong magic from it. "Are you sure? I mean, wouldn't you need it?"
Anna shook her head and shows her another medallion. "I got two."
Raven smiles as she puts the medallion around her neck. "Thank you, I love it."
"You're welcome," Anna leans forward and kisses Raven on the cheek causing the girl to blush. "Sleep well."
Anna takes off from the room, leaving Raven alone. She rubs her cheek where she got the kiss. She should be mad for Anna kissing her, but for some reason it felt good. Still, it doesn't mean she'll actually try the whole going out with Anna.
"Sorry Anna, but that's never going to happen," Raven turns off the light in her room and drifts off to sleep.
She says it won't happen, but what do you guys think? Also, what did you think of Anna's past? Poor girl, we now know why she is on Earth and how she ended up as a hunter. Think she'll find a way to go home and help Raven? Find out next time to see what happens. Please leave some reviews and let me know what you thought of the chapter. If you didn't like it then don't leave a flame review. Take care, see you all next time, and have a nice day.
