"Are you making a date with me, Phil?"
"No, Castiel. It's a movie. Have you forgotten our plans?"
"We are to begin watching Christmas films."
"The Muppets' Christmas Carol?"
"Another film or a song?"
"Oh boy," Phil muttered. "The Home Alone movies?"
"I have never seen them."
"It's a Wonderful Life?"
"It is not always so, Phil."
"Castiel, I love you, but sometimes you take things too literally."
Castiel frowned, and did his head-tilt thing that reminded Phil of a bird.
"Well, I witnessed the birth of Christ," he said. "You choose."
"Elf it is."
First time I've written SPN fan fiction. I don't think Metatron would have been into Christmas movies. I can imagine Castiel being enraptured by Elf, though.
