As I waited for Kalawarnar to build up her courage to perform this seemingly suicidal job, I started to deliberate our choices and how to go about performing my first job from Azazel since becoming a Cadre. Quite frankly, it wasn't going well and normally it would of. The problem being for me was where we actually were at that moment in time. Standing in the tall grass meant it was good for stealth but there was also one thing I slightly over looked, it was damp and dirty which meant one thing. That thing was rats and mice, it was making my senses go haywire, my nose was getting it the worst.

My nose was twitching erratically as the scent of easy prey hit my nostrils forcing me to happily bask in it. My resolve was breaking, the thought of chasing mice was slowly starting to become the forefront thing to do in my mind. My cat senses were screaming out to forget about Ophis and to chase down some prey but as a human being, I had to 'kidnap' Ophis. I was stuck in a major dilemma, a dilemma that wasn't going to rule me for much longer.

I turned around to Kalawarnar holding a serious look in my eyes.

"Kala-chan, start the mission without me. I got something to do."

I instantly turned into my silver cat form and went after my prey while Kalawarnar sighed and started to move through the tall grass.

My body hugged the ground as I slowly and carefully manoeuvred my way through the tall grass as I followed the scent of the nearby rats. As I did so Asahi's voice came to mind, 'Don't walk in the tall grass, it's dangerous.', it was something I couldn't get out of my head as I continued to follow the scent. I couldn't even remember what it's from to be honest.

A number of rats later and I had got bored, I reverted back to my human form and caught up with Kalawarnar who was still inside the tall grass but much closer to the compound than where we had started. Standing next to her quietly, I just watched the area ahead of us. It was littered with devils but there was an open gap in the centre which happened to lead all the way to the warehouse in the back where Ophis was. This sight made me think two things, sprint straight through the centre for a speedy, safer job or run to the exact centre and cause a riot allowing Kalawarnar to go around and collect Ophis.

Causing a Riot seemed like the smartest thing to do even though it wasn't. Even despite the major risks, a riot is what i'm going to do especially because there is no humans or members of the Hero Faction here in this compound.

"Kala-chan, make your way around unnoticed. I'm going to attract their attention to different part of the compound."

Not leaving Kalawarnar any time to question my plan or how I was going to do it, I walked away from her and out of the grass and onto the main compound. I was able to get several metres into the compound before a devil was able to spot me, not like I was trying to hide my entrance at all.

"Who are you?! This is private ground. Leave at once."

The man's voice sounded like he was trying to sound forceful but I didn't have a care so I didn't pay much attention to it. I continued to walk through the compound agitating the devil further, and attracting the other devils to my position which was slowly getting ever so closer to the centre of the compound.

Once I got there I stopped and jumped twice confusing the surrounding devils, ultimately breaking their concentration on whatever spell they were going to cast at/on me. With the amount there was which easily exceeded 60 at that moment in time, one thing came to mind and something he had yet to even try but knew how to use. A poison mist, it works on most species but controlling it's area of effect would be a problem because it could accidentally hit Kalawarnar.

It would not do, i'd have to change it up a bit and utilize my ice magic for control over it. As I thought to myself about what to do, I was idly dancing around dodging their magic and weapons which I had no real concentration on. Each time my foot touched the floor, I released some of my ice magic turning the ground I stepped on to ice and mist to form in the air. This caused their vision to become impaired and their ability to stand hard and thanks to my ice being unmeltable their fire magic was rendered useless along with the wind magic they used to try and blow the mist away, the wind was absorbed causing the mist to turn to a fog clouding the entire area.

Seeing that my work there was done for the most part I turned around to see more devils coming out of the main warehouse, the problem being that they were all stronger devils, much stronger devils. I brought up a magic circle to in front of my mouth and waited a second before talking.

"Teleport back once you got her."

The magic circle then disappeared and sent my message off to Kalawarnar, luckily just before the devils turned violent at me. I then counted the number of enemies in front of me and I came to the number 8 meaning that not dealing with them quickly could mean a problem when the 60+ behind me break away from the dense fog.

I span out of the way of the first attack which was just pure demonic power and pushed my body downwards, making my legs into springs and pushed vaulting from my position towards the 8 devils in front of me all borderline Ultimate-class. I summon both Vorpal and Dragonrend to hand and continue my charge towards these 8 devils having one thought on my mind.

'I might as well hinder them somewhat as i'm here.'

I coated Vorpal in my ice magic and Dragonrend in my lunar magic and slashed down to either side of my body releasing two crescents of pure energy which dug into the ground around me ripping it all up in a straight line before barrelling into a devil a piece cutting them straight in half due to the 'light' energy within them alone. I continued on and skidded to a stop past the two furthest back devils, turning towards them.

Dropping my swords down to the side, I invoked the two jewels within my Lunar Gear bringing a white surge to Vorpal and a red surge to Dragonrend.

"Heavenly Dragons: Crimson Hailstorm."

I brought both swords up in a diagonal motion causing the two swords to clash together creating a mass of white and red sparks that seemed to set a bomb alight as a massive crimson explosion resounded directly in front of me. The force of the explosion blew me back and created the attack as crimson pieces of ice shot out from the explosion towards the devils.

Landing on the ground behind me butt first, I skidded along the ground and collided with a steel wall sending a shiver through my body as it's strangely cold feel weirded my body out. I stood up slowly and patted myself down.

"Gin-kun!"

In the corner of my vision, I saw a small magic circle come up along with Kalwarnar's voice.

"What's up?"

"Ophis isn't budging. She said she was to wait for a silver kitten and won't believe that i'm with you for her."

As much as I don't like being called kitten, i'm not so sure Ophis came up with that herself. It was probably Vali being a dick again. There is one sure fire way to get her out of here.

"Kala-chan, tell her that i'm outside right now fighting the devils here. She can see for herself. Tell her that she can kill you if it's a lie."

"Kill me?!"

"Shh you! You know for a fact i'm here, just do it!"

I shut off the connection and allowed my cat features to come out as I allowed the heavenly dragon's auras to coat my swords once again for a final attack as I only had enough devil and fallen magic for it. I stood in wait as the devils brought themselves back from my attack all 60+ of them and additionally, for the dragon aura to continue to build.

I hear the sound of the warehouse door sliding open and turn to see a scared Kalawarnar with a small girl dressed in Gothic Lolita clothing, which was definitely Ophis. You didn't need supernatural sight to know that, a normal person would probably feel something ominous from her. Kalawarnar's fear seemed to disappear a moment later when Ophis nods her head.

"I'll see you back there."

As soon as I finished Kalawarnar set up the circle to return leaving me to deal with the drabble.

Feeling that the dragon's aura got to a sufficient amount, I created a layer and started to coat it in my divinity as a magic build-up. I brought both swords up above my head and readied myself for the backlash which would be a lot worse than two arms gone, but I felt like I was looking forward to it.

Both the devil's magic and my divinity reached a critical point at the exact same time but I was quicker to invoke it as I brought both swords down with a yell.

"Divine Fangs of the Heavenly Dragon's King!"

Two pure crescents of silver light shot out from the swords with overwhelming force and an incredible size as they crackled with the White and Red of the two heavenly dragons. As the crescents progressed they continued to grow in size until they struck their devil targets resulting in an explosion that shook the very ground we stood on violently sending an earthquake through the whole island.

The feedback was immense, it was much stronger than I had anticipated but it didn't destroy my arms but render them useless as I felt each bone shatter completely but only to keep their form. Both of my swords dropped from my hands and disappeared away, as they did my body felt the rest of the damage. All of my organs were bruised and cut open only for my Senjutsuu to quickly act to hold it all in place but unable to quell the pain in the slightest.

As I set the teleporter for back home, not bothering to wait to see the damage my strike caused, I noticed one thing my Senjutsuu hadn't reached in time. It wasn't something that bothered me greatly but it could become a hassle. I could no longer speak and my voice box was shredded with my Senjutsuu barely keeping it from being gone completely. This is what I get for enjoying fights, I push my body too much when it's not even needed. The urge to use a move is too much for me, I don't even think otherwise until my body is paying for it.

I came back on the roof to the house in front of Azazel, Raynare, Kalawarnar and finally Ophis. I looked at the four of them with slightly hollow eyes and bowed sending multiple sharp pains through my body. When I brought my body back up I saw their worried expressions, well everyone bar Ophis, she just looked at me with a plain expression that had nothing to tell or think about it or more like anything. Her age has probably desensitized her from things like this, she has been alive for a considerable amount of time after all.

I allowed my divinity to coat my body aiding my Senjutsuu and walked straight past them without even a gesture, I couldn't tell them I had lost my voice so it was better to do nothing. There was nothing for me to do about it, I couldn't even write an excuse on paper. I could possibly use magic to send a message but that would be a waste of magic that I could be using to heal myself with.

I took myself through the whole house and past odd gazes in complete silence. Once I got in the elevator for the basement levels I let out a mute sigh surprising both Rias and Akeno that followed after me. They joined me in the elevator and watched me with worried eyes and I returned their worried gazes with a dull glare. When the elevator stopped we were all on the level for the hot spring bath, I passed straight through with the girls not saying a word, they just followed me. I used my magic briefly to take off my clothes as the girls stripped themselves by hand, then without a word I entered the blissfully hot bath with both of the girls surprising them both.

I don't really have the energy to complain about Rias right now, frankly i'm not in the state to care about it. I sat down at the edge in between them feeling my conscious waver. The steam from the bath was getting to me quicker than it should because of my injuries. As I succumbed to my fatigue I felt my body slump sideways in towards Rias.

I'm sorry that the chapter is coming out a day late. My internet was royally fudged since uploading the previous chapter and i resulted to using my phone for internet, not something that i found ideal. Because of that, my computer has been neglected until today so i didn't work on a chapter but here it is all done in most of a day. That all said, the chapter for Dark Immortal will be out tomorrow as i started it on the day i uploaded the third chapter to it. If i have enough time in the day to get it done and uploaded, i'll give you an extra chapter as an additional sorry for my lateness and a way to get my ass back in gear for writing.

I mean i sat in a gloomy state for an hour before officially starting this chapter as my mind was gone. I knew how the chapter would ultimately go but everything in between is on the spot for this story. Dark Immortal on the other hand is completely planned from start to finish, i just need to write the happenings of each chapter in note form.

I'll let you get back to whatever you guys were doing or going to do after reading my late chapter. Ciao-nya ^.^
