Epilogue
3 years later
Coming off my ship after a long night of sleep was amazing. I had great confidence on this island that I was going to meet some old friends here if maybe not all. It's been 3 years since I stopped talking to them and a lot of things have changed. I've become much stronger, smarter, and even taller. Mostly my appearance changed the most. I started wearing shorts instead of skirts. Then instead of my normal shirt, vest, and tie I changed into a shirt with my Jolly Roger and a plaid shirt over it left unbuttoned. Plus my converse were gone and replaced with some long, leather riding boots.
Strength wise I've felt as though I've mastered my haki and devil fruit powers. But surely my friends have also grown stronger and won't be afraid to challenge me for One Piece. Though, it's still islands away and I've got time to kill. Even after 3 years I'm still alone but it's made me stronger. I've learned to handle situations without a crew even though it was tough at first. Later after a while of wondering around I ran into Ace out of luck.
"Ace, it's good to see you. It's been 3 years." I greeted.
"Whoa, is that really you Alicia? You've totally changed!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah, you have too."
"Hey have you seen my brothers yet? You'd be totally surprised. They've grown much stronger!"
"I'm sure everyone has, though, I haven't seen them yet."
"Well they're here on the island. It's kind of weird since many people from school are here on the island. And I think I also saw your boyfriend too which I was surprised when he said you weren't traveling with him." Suddenly my eyes and ears perked up when I heard Law was here on the island. Quickly I became anxious to see him again. After he called that one morning he never called again. So now I'm really psyched.
"Where is he?" I asked.
"He's over there at the building at the end having an argument with Kid." Ace answered. Quickly I made a dash over there. When I entered, the entire place fell silent and all eyes were on me including Law's. Soon they went back to whatever they were doing except for Law who was just shocked to see me. Later the two of us went out just to talk. And I finally noticed he was wearing the set of clothes I gave him for Christmas. I smiled knowing he loved it and was wearing it now.
"Hey… it's been a while." He started.
"*nods* yeah… 3 years… I'm sorry for being gone for that long. I've gotten stronger and better than before… but I've never forgot our moments together." I responded.
"I've become stronger as well. Within those 3 years I got stronger because I was afraid that you didn't want to see me because I was weak and nearly lost you to Doflamingo."
"Oh Law, you should know I wouldn't do that. I just needed time alone to grow stronger and it wasn't because of what happened 3 years ago either."
"Are you still sailing alone?"
"Yeah I am. It's alright though."
"Have you decided to join my crew yet?"
"Law I-" Suddenly before I could answer, Luffy wrapped his arms all around me. While he was doing so he had this really big smile on his face like before… but probably bigger and happier than before.
"Luffy, what are you doing?" I questioned.
"I'm hugging you! You've finally come back!" he exclaimed.
"Luffy I still haven't decided yet."
"Aw come on you promised!" Suddenly Luffy was kicked off by Sanji and was scorched by his flaming leg kick. Obviously that proved that he's gotten stronger as well.
"Oh Alicia-san, you've come back because you've finally realized that I'm your one true love." Sanji declared. Suddenly he was then kicked by Law who was now red and angry. I smiled because this felt like high school all over again. But we were now stronger and better than before. Soon I started to wonder how my siblings were doing.
"Alicia, you never got to finish what you were going to say." Law reminded. I was going to say that I still didn't want to sail with anyone, but I changed my mind instead.
"I missed you, Law. I'm sorry I broke up with you long ago… I regret that… There wasn't a day that I never missed us being together." I announced. Suddenly Law looked at me shockingly, but then he smiled and hugged me.
"Alicia, will you go back out with me again?" he whispered into my ear.
"Yes, I will go back out with you." I replied. Later all of us returned to the restaurant for some drinks in celebration. While we drank I saw some really suspicious characters in the corner of my eye. So as they went I silently ordered my shadow to follow them carefully. As my shadow followed them I could hear their every conversation. Just as I suspected they were navy men. Carefully I leaned over to Law and whispered,
"We're gonna be surrounded by navy men. This island is full of them." Just as I finished navy men busted through the door and pointed their guns right at us. I kept calm and waited to see what the others were going to do. But later just before anyone could make a move, Garp from W.G. came dragging Ace back into the restaurant. Everyone fell silent except for Luffy, who shouted,
"You won't stop me from becoming King of the Pirates and finding One Piece!" he shouted. Just like before Garp punched him over the head to shut him up.
"Shut up, you're gonna become a navy men and that's final!" he argued. The only thing that changed from this was that Luffy and Garp fought. It was a draw only because the two of them fell asleep. I smiled seeing how this turned out. After they woke up they started to fight all over again, Law slowly wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly.
"Alicia… will you sail with me to find One Piece?" he whispered into my ear. Even though I wanted to sail alone, my heart just wanted to be with Law. So I said yes as my answer. After all this ended I went with Law and his crew out to the next island and all the way to One Piece.
