Been a small while for my stories but i recently got into the Persona series.
And i mean into it, pretty strange for me actually.
So before i inevitably go back to playing it i need to get this chapter out and do a little of another.

Here you are!

My first few days as a married man were not ones of fun and laughter but ones of tediousness. The first day was a mere induction into the Sitri clan itself making me Sona's brother, this in turn gave me a whole lot of books to read as the Sitri clan will not have me just being smart I have to be a genius. The books were something that I'd spend a lot of hours in the future on, that was something that couldn't be changed. From there I was given full access to Serafall's job and I was now pretty much Leviathan with her tired absence meaning I was insanely busy with paperwork that had built up. She was seriously not one for doing paperwork, not even in the slightest. There was paperwork that was a year old.

Then it was something that would help me relax a bit more in future endeavours before I could allow myself to sleep that night. I returned to my own castle that night so I could officially give Katerea some more influence as the Lady of Tsukiyomi. That was her own induction into the clan and the taking of my name which forced her own Leviathan into the background but that was really just in the eyes of the snobby nobles. This also brought about my own Evil Pieces which were Ajuka Beelzebub's gift for the wedding I presume, as I was already classed a High-class devil he probably thought 'Why not?' and just gave them to me. Though how and where he did that I did not like because the two ladies of Phoenix were in full view of me being given them so I can expect some annoyance from them pretty soon. From there I made Grace my Queen and Katerea my Bishop who actually took both pieces leaving me with a slight dilemma for the 'Stray Black Cat', I suppose I can force Senjutsuu to break the contract or something. Hopefully there is a loophole there somewhere.

My first day as Tsukiyomi 'Levi' Gin was an all-in-all boring one as I was expecting, especially with Serafall's tired state. There was no chance of me relaxing and having fun. Though I can say that the second day wasn't much better at all.

The second day was a bunch of meeting in Akihabara. Azazel had scheduled me for at least 6 meetings that day with anime companies and 2 photo shoots, one for simple modelling and the other for 'King of Gehenna'. These meetings with the anime company had originally been scheduled for the time I was unconscious but of course I couldn't attend them so for some reason he did them all for just one day.

There was no chance in hell I could call that day fun, no matter how you could have scheduled the day. The sheer number of things I had to do was ridiculous and made it very annoying to me. It got even weirder when I noticed that the newest chapter of Azazel's manga was released that day with my new hairstyle as well, I've always wondered why hair was one of those points kept unrealistic in anime and manga. They only cut their hair during weird moments and never have like a character changing their dress style or whatever. Well … you could mention Haruhi but I don't know how far you could take that one as it was all so brief. Subtle changes can make for dramatic stuff.

Fortunately the modelling gigs were short, ten minutes each at most. That would be for me personally, they probably lasted much longer altogether. And that was the first two days and allowed me to go back to normal life which didn't start off with me relaxing.

The first day back to normal life had me at the restaurant working with Asahi, the only difference being that it was Male day so we were dressed up as Butlers and the girls that were here working were all working in the kitchen despite the fact that it was a very busy day. It was a very busy day not because of the time in the day or week but because it was my first time back working in the restaurant. While that reason is pretty conceited, it's more down the lines of our customers enjoyed the interactions between me and Asahi while serving the customers. Asahi has a lot more free time than I do and even now that things have calmed down for me I still won't have lots of free time.

Saying that this was my first day back wouldn't directly mean it was to be a very busy day because our shifts aren't told to anyone who doesn't work there. So there was only one way people would know and that way was posters. Each and every message board in the town held a poster advertising the day. Another reason why it was busy was because of Rias, Akeno and Koneko who got here when my shift started which was over two hours ago and have ordered non-stop always only from me something which didn't bother Asahi though it was more likely he enforced that and pushed me onto them saying he didn't want to serve them. Neither did I really but one glanced towards the Governor and a shrug came from him, one that I had seen too many times.

It was around the halfway mark into our shifts that Asahi and I got to take our break which could be hard-pressed to call a shift. The Governor had said we could only take it if we sat at the central table which was a small rectangular table bolted onto a thin pillar and was rather high off the ground meaning we had to sit on stools. This meant no real privacy at all meaning we could 'have' our break but keep the customers happy by seeing us interact still dressed up. It's hard to tell whether Azazel is an evil mastermind or just a really good businessman.

"Gin-nya, I finally went to heaven."

"You might wanna phrase that better Asa-kun. I take it you mean your shrine under the eternal sun?"

I dead panned slightly at Asahi's words to which he smiled more to counterbalance my lack of emotion towards his statement.

"Aye, Lovely Miss Gabriel took me there while we were waiting for you to get better."

"Don't tell me you are hitting on her?"

He shook his head childishly at me, that left me with a feeling of what was coming next.

"You are the only person I'll ever hit on Gin-nya, and you know that's only to embarrass you."

What I felt had came but the way he said it sounded more mature than normal, especially with him saying it right after shaking his head like a small child would. This could only mean one thing, Asahi's own engagement. One which he was actually for but due to his childish nature, one he wasn't ready for and thus he fled from Kyoto to Grigori leaving his mother and future bride behind.

Asahi is normally an open book but when it comes to his fiancée he is extremely quiet and closed off. He is reserved about her and the only thing I was able to get out of him was her name and her name was Kunou. Ever since finding out her name I've been wanting to search and find out more about her but I haven't. I want to for all the times he has annoyed and embarrassed me but I just can't bring myself to do it knowing that he has had my back all these years and freely became my friend rather than just observer.

The reason this comes to mind is because it's getting ever so closer to our school trip. There isn't much longer left till it and like every other year we will be going to Kyoto and as Youkai we will be sensed immediately especially with having to announce our presence to the Youkai faction so we aren't accidentally attacked.

"So what happened when you were there?"

"Same as for you really. When I arrived a three-legged crow appeared out of nowhere and landed on my shoulder calling me 'My Lord'. When I arrived in the central chamber there was a podium much like what you described but with the kanji for 'Fire' flowing my divinity into that flooded me with knowledge and as I turned around I saw a Unicorn with it's horn made out of fire and had clumps of fire surrounding it's hooves and tail."

"What are their names?"

"The crow calls itself Yata and the Unicorn is Taiyo. The best part is my flames have now turned black and the armour thing is pretty cool, it's still in the immature state like your was though."

Asahi changed from his usual happy expression to a new dejected look which looked a little forced, probably due to his inability to be unhappy. I guess that could mean it didn't follow Hyperdimension or not yet for his sake at least.

"Anyway, have you heard what Rias and Akeno are thinking about doing for the school festival?"

"No, though I half expect it to somehow have me at the forefront of things."

Asahi laughed as her heard my comment, almost as if I was right.

"Well from conversation's I've overheard..."

"Don't you mean conversations you listen in on?"

"That's not the point Gin-nya. The point is that seen as we are a big commodity for the girls here in this surrounding area, Rias and Akeno thought that a cafe would be a good idea. Me, you and Kiba to bring in the girls and then the girls of the club for the guys. We would be sticking to the Occult theme by being dressed as animals in some way or form. You and Koneko would be Nekoshou, I'll obviously be a Kyuubi. Akeno will be a Fallen, Rias a Devil and Asia will be an Angel. Then there is Gasper who may be a vampire if it turn's out to be possible for the shy guy."

"Well … if that's true it'll be exceedingly easy for us to do. Though speaking about Asia, is it true that Gabriel made her into a Nephilem?"

Asahi then adopted a confused face.

"Yeah, the Governor wouldn't stop going on about it. He created a splitter Sacred Gear of sorts allowing her left side to hold the Holy power and the right to hold the Devil power. She became Gabriel's Jack I think but if it was any other devil I don't think it would have work."

"How so? Do you mean like on a religious scale or maybe a power scale? If it's a splitter then she would always have one devil wing on her right side while her left having up to 12 right?"

Asahi's confused look stayed on his face while he nodded at my questions.

"That is what the Governor said. It would off-balance her if she was to become stronger even without her wings unfurled but because she is against hurting people and strictly a healer she will stay at the basic level of two wings but in this case it'll stick to just one of each wing but Azazel somehow made it so that she can have her devil wing be over-ruled by the angel wing at times allowing her to have a Halo."

"I take it that time though is rather short, a way for her to have full semblance during prayers?"

"Yeah, that's right. I didn't expect the Governor to do it but he went all-out when it gave him a reason to try out a new sacred gear."

That does make sense for Azazel really, mention Sacred Gears and you probably get him to do anything. It's also one of the reason he made both me and Asahi cadres, although our blood as descendants of a Shinto God and Goddess may have something to do with that.

Ding Ding!

The timer on our table let out a series of high pitched dings that only animals, e.g. Asahi and I, could hear. This meant that we had to return to work.

Finishing is always satisfying with work. You work hard all day for money and then you can relax and do whatever, it's the incentive really although you could relax more without a job but you'd need money to do a wider range of relaxing. Though as a Devil I don't really need to do that any more, I've already racked up more than enough money to be set for life multiple times in all honesty plus there is the constant feed from Gremory, Tsukiyomi and now Serafall. I only continue to do this because it's fun, when it's not all clumped together at least.

As always though I finish a little earlier than Asahi does, with him being my observer I never understood the reason for that. Once I left the restaurant a new scent hit my nose, one that was familiar and one that spurred me on into finding it. I started to follow the scent and when I was in a secluded enough area I allowed my ears and tails to come out and peak my senses giving me the exact area for where this neko was.

Without a second thought, I angled myself towards Kuoh Academy and ran straight there bounding through the park and surrounding trees.

Skidding to a halt just outside the school gates I looked around the school yard to try and spot the being but I couldn't see anything out of place but the smell was still lingering about. I jumped the gate and slowly strode further into the school compound only for me to get halfway before my instincts kicked in warning me about danger. I clenched my right fist and spun 90 degrees to my right and brought up my arm in time for it to block the incoming fist which resounded with an odd boom upon contact and one that nothing else followed after.

Now turning my head I saw the final person I needed to deal with before I could have total clarity about my whole self and the being like always was clad in black with an all too familiar yellow Obi.

"You found me Gin-nya~"

And that's that. A relatively slow paced chapter or really a completely slow paced chapter.
While i'm not really a fan of writing cliffhangers or at least making them eludes me and i have done before, this one is purposeful.
I didn't want to mix up an important part to Gin in something/chapter that i made to revolve around others, Asia and Asahi.
Making Asia into a Nephilem is pretty much just because i can, this is a fictional story and Asia is a religious kid so why not?
Asahi's life will slowly start to become the main focus in the upcoming chapters especially once i start the Kyoto Arc.

One thing to say about Asahi is that nothing he does is fake at all, he is someone that you can take at face value.
I write him this way because i feel that it compliments the sun as it's open to all, by that i mean the comparison to day and night.
Day-time is warm and it's the time of day when people are out and about being active, this in turn is Asahi's happy side coming into play but during day-time their is always hardships but never as many as the good times which I'm trying to reflect in Asahi's personality. He is very social.

In comparison to that their is Gin and the Moon. Gin is someone who is more reserved than Asahi, like the night where people don't venture out as much. Just like at night or when it's dark, things are quieter and the noise that is made during this time carries far. While that comparison makes him look more political and a higher-up in society i don't mean it that way, i mean that his selected words have more emphasis. Where Asahi is one who freely talks to anyone and everyone, Gin is someone who talks when needed outside of his close friends so when he does talk outside of those friends it is what's needed although his puberty put a hole in that point at times.

Well, that's enough about Gin and Asahi. Ciao-nya~
