A/N: Like I said, Merry Christmas! (*3*) This chapter is still dedicated to LesMislover2013. :)

Movie Moves
"Whoa! Dude, that is some creepy dude."
"Dude, you said 'dude' twice."
"Ha! You did, too. Bah, whatever. You're a dude, he's a dude. I respect both of your dudeliness."
"Stop talking, you morons!" Ino hushed both Naruto and Suigetsu with a strike to their heads.
It was a miracle that Sakura agreed to carry on with the planned movie night, especially after her little show with Sasuke – except she didn't actually agree. For the most part since after their argument, Sakura ignored all of them. And when Ino reminded her of the agenda they'd planned that night, she just shrugged and told her to do whatever she wanted.
Sakura was grateful this basic-bitch side of her didn't affect Ino as much anymore. Otherwise, another insult volley would've had spurred with a new contender.
They drove to the house right after the guys freshened up, which meant the house currently reeked of that stingy guy smell. (This better not last or they won't hear the end of it from their fathers.) Other than that, there wasn't really anything bad with the whole arrangement. The living room was surprisingly spacious enough to fit all twelve six-foot-something athletes, and they still had room for the lady owners.
It was dizzying to be so close to tall people who moved a lot, Sakura realized, especially in a more secluded area than a gym. Being surrounded by them made her aware of how tiny she was, and she was already five-foot-seven! She tried to imagine how Hinata, who was five-foot-two and the shortest of them all, was feeling.
"Seriously," Ino had whispered to Sakura when the guys first went through the front door. "Do they inhale growth supplements or something?"
"They probably pour it over their cereal instead of milk."
"That's sick."
"I know."
No one was tall enough to actually reach the door frame, but most of them still bent over probably because of traumatically experiencing a head-butt multiple times in the past.
When Sakura had seen that their furniture weren't going to get smashed, she decided to leave. She hadn't been in the mood to begin with, so what's the point?
"Up, up, up. Where are you going?" Ino had held Sakura's arm when she saw her making a move towards the stairs.
"Bed," she deadpanned.
Ino shook her head. "Not so fast, Billie Board. It's Friday, and the night is young – just like you. Now quit acting like a cranky old man."
And that's how they got her into this whole ordeal.
They sat on a semi-circle facing the screen. A few snacks scattered around the coffee table by the flat-screen TV. The movie they selected was, of course, a horror movie. Sakura wanted to roll her eyes at the predictability and sappiness of it all, but she was just so done that she didn't bother. She tried to enjoy herself, but knowing about the broody presence in the room prevented her from doing so. At least all the lights were off, so she didn't have to deal with the feeling of said brooder's eyes on her. Call her assuming, but she really felt like those midnight pools were boring onto her very soul. The thought made Sakura shudder – with queasiness or excitement, she didn't want to know.
"Dude–"
"I swear on my dead cat's grave that if I ever hear the word dude again, I'm going to stab somebody." A fuming Ino cut off Suigetsu again before he could start another conversation with Naruto. Both boys looked at her as if she was more horrifying than the movie itself, before squeaking an agreement. A few other guys snickered quietly, and even Sakura's hardened expression into an amused one.
Naruto and Suigetsu may have shut their mouth, but the silence wasn't at all long-lived when their idiotic rants were replaced by everyone's shameless screaming. It really was scary, Sakura regarded; so much so that her throat got parched from screaming. She needed to douse this incoming sore throat.
"I'm going to get some more drinks," she began, uncrossing her legs from underneath her. "You guys want anything?"
"Do you have ramen, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked expectantly. In the two days that she'd been their coach, it was already a known fact that the Orange Fox (that was his court nickname) was as passionate with ramen as he was with basketball.
"T-That would take some preparing, Naruto-kun. How about you have it after the movie?" Hinata, who sat beside him, answered with a convincing smile.
He pouted before replying dejectedly. "Okay."
A few made requests prior to Sakura setting off to the kitchen. She took a plastic bag and placed some soda, juice packs, and beer cans in it.
When she walked back to the living room, Kiba had already taken her place on the couch beside Ino.
"Good, you're here," Ino said to Sakura. "She's here now, Kiba." The blonde tried shooing him away, but the blush on her cheeks betrayed her purpose.
"It's fine, Kiba." Sakura smiled warmly at him and mischievously at Ino. Her best friend looked at her like she had just offended her great ancestors.
I'm going to kill you, Ino mouthed.
Who's in denial now? She mouthed back.
She scoured the area again for vacancy. She also got to have a better look at the small audience in the room, and saw that this jumble of overly manly players were noticeably holding themselves back from palpitating.
A bloodcurdling scene must've been shown because a moment later, a fit of screams erupted from all of them minus Sakura. She was startled by the sudden burst of emotions, and even jumped a little. But as soon as she realized what was happening, she tried to fight the bubbles of laughter that built up in her stomach.
She failed miserably. She doubled over, one hand on her stomach and the other on the wall for support. She was laughing her soul out of her body.
"You should've seen your faces!" She gasped in between giggles.
Most of them glared at her while she continued to laugh. Could they really blame her? They'd laugh, too if they saw how ridiculous they all looked. Even Sasuke and Neji looked shaken.
"Hey, Sakura," Ino began grimly. Sakura was wiping tears from her eyes, her giggles tuning down.
"What?" She asked absentmindedly.
"Don't freak, okay, but there's… something behind you."
Ino hasn't even finished her sentence when Sakura shrieked, jumped off, and scramble to where her friends were; she ended up in front of Sasuke who snorted.
It was their turn to bellow with laughter.
"Ha-ha, real funny." Sakura glared at Ino who sat satisfied with herself.
Before she knew it, though, her arm was (yet again) yanked as Sasuke stood up and placed her in his previous spot. After making sure she wasn't going to fall off, he sat on the floor directly in front of her.
She blinked.
"You were blocking my view." He stated as if it explained everything the universe stands for.
"Oh," she whispered, looking doe-eyed at him. She exhaled in relief. Good. He's still a jerk.
She thought he was suddenly becoming a gentleman. What a terrifying thought.
Sakura felt her phone vibrate, so she took it out and saw that Ino was calling her. Sakura looked over at her questioningly, but Ino gestured that she answer the call. Her thumb slid on the green button.
"What?" Sakura hissed, hoping her voice was being drowned out by the TV's volume.
"Attractive, athletic, smart and chivalrous. That's just too much for the world to handle." Sakura saw the cunning smirk her best friend had as she spoke. Apparently, Ino saw their whole exchange.
"Puh-lease. I was blocking his view. Besides, no one can be all that."
"Why, is it too much for your hormones?"
"Yeah – wait, no. Oh my God. I don't mean it that way. I thought you meant hor…ses. Horses, yes." Sakura wanted to punch herself in the face.
"Ha!"
"Shut up." She hung up.
Fine, so she thought he was... physically blessed. Sakura wasn't blind, and she certainly wasn't asexual. Sasuke Uchiha was attractive, and she didn't need to feel something for him for her to know that.
She tried to concentrate on the damned movie, but her gaze kept drifting to the sly, enigmatic guy in front of her. Goodness, even his back looked gorgeous. He sat with his legs crossed and raised; his arms wrapped around them, so every time he adjusted himself, the muscles on his back flexed under the gray sweatshirt he sported. Movement spread gracefully from his arms, to his wide shoulders, and down to his slim waist. And his hair – those contrasting strands of soft spiky hair that's so black it was almost blue. She wondered how it would feel in between her fingers–
"It's rude to stare, Haruno."
Sasuke's direct statement jolted Sakura from her trance. Soon, she felt heat creeping up her neck as she choked on an excuse that she was trying so hard to come up with.
"I w-was so not staring," she reasoned, inwardly scolding herself for the little stutter. "There was a mosquito flying around your head, so, um, you better swat it away. Shoo, mosquito, go away…" She was swatting her hand at the air around his head just to support her claim.
Sasuke stared at her in amusement as she kept on swatting at nothing in particular. They locked eyes, and he smirked. It was when the red tint on her cheeks invaded the whole of her face.
"What?" She spat.
Sasuke shrugged before turning his attention back to the screen. Sakura did, too, and in that exact moment, a ghost from the movie appeared, causing another chorus of screams from everyone in the room – including and especially Sakura.
The rosette made a move to jump on impulse, her hands flailing absently in desperate wanting to grab the nearest object from her to cover her face with. One of her feet untangled itself from her cross-legged sitting position, and landed unstably on the polished floor, causing her to slip and lose her balance. Not a moment later and a loud thud echoed through the room.
Sakura thought she landed on the floor because of how sturdy and solid it felt beneath her. But then, she realized that it was too uneven. Plus, she couldn't remember ever having a carpet on the living room.
It was when she realized that the floor was breathing. And that the floor wasn't actually the floor.
"You're heavy," the floor–Sasuke grunted.
It came to Sakura's mind that her head was on Sasuke's chest. She felt his hands clutching her waist, while hers lay useless on his sides. She didn't know how he ended up below her right-side-up. Didn't he have his back on her? That meant that she should have landed on his back. What the hell happened?
Nothing is making sense and her head was throbbing.
Despite herself, Sakura jostled away from him. The world rocked a little from the sudden movement, but when her vision settled, she saw that all eyes were on them, the movie forgotten as they all registered the scene that had just unfolded.
Sakura's emerald eyes locked on Sasuke, whose left hand was gripping his right arm as he massaged a muscle.
Did he… do it on purpose?
It was Suigetsu's whistling that took everyone out of their shock. Sakura stood up and forced herself back on her chair. Maybe if she pretended that nothing happened, they'd all forget it, too.
Except they didn't.
Sasuke went back to his sitting position in front of her, but the rest of them were still staring at them both.
With irritation getting the best of her, Sakura turned to them and glared. "What?" She sputtered.
Not taking it any more, she made a move to stand up. She wasn't going to sit there like an animal in a zoo being watched by children for enjoyment. She was so done with this day. She was going to retreat to her room and probably hide for a week.
Just her luck, Sasuke had also motioned to stand. So they both stood there at the same time, staring dumbly at each other. Actually, she stared up dumbly at him, and he just stared at her blankly. She was first to break eye contact.
She knew that he knew he had the upper hand–again. He proved her to be correct when he spoke, a smirk gracing his lips.
"I didn't know you had it in you to be shy." With that, he walked past her, grabbed his stuff, and walked to the door.
"Hey, Teme!" Naruto, who'd regained consciousness shouted after his best friend. "Where are you going?"
"Home," Sasuke deadpanned.
"Then who's suppose to take me home?" Naruto whined.
"Grow some balls and walk."
Sasuke was out the door before Naruto could utter "Jerk."
Sakura took their little exchange as her chance to finally take refuge in the comfort of her room. She briskly made her way to the stares, dreadfully avoiding any eye contact.
"Sakura?" Tenten stopped her when she was on the stairs' landing. Her voice was concerned, but Sakura still heard a slight tone of mirth.
"I'm sleepy. Night, guys! Lock up when you're done." The words robotically poured out of her mouth as she climbed up the steps without looking back.
Ugh.
A/N: Anybody caught the canon reference I put in? ;) I think this was one of those chapters that I meant as fillers, hence, it's short. Aaaaand the reason I had this early update is because I started rewriting this chapter as soon as I was done with chapter four. What can I say, I had fun. Hope you do, too! So much love for you guys! – Ayel
