The last chapter is here! Yeah, this is the end folks. I have to say I didn't think when I started this I would get to the end. After all I had to stop and redo the original story because I felt like it could have been done better. I'm glad I did because it has been successful since I uploaded this.

So thanks a lot guys, I appreciate all the support you have given to this story. I'm glad many have enjoyed it and is there going to be a sequel? Well, the information about this will be explained at the end. That should give you all the answer for your questions.

Anyways, it is time for the disclaimer. I don't own anything from the DC universe except for my OCs that have appeared in the story. All right, it's time for the new chapter to begin and enjoy everyone. Oh and Happy Thanksgiving, now where is my turkey?

Gone forever?

Titan's Tower

"Raven, please open the door," said Starfire who has been trying to help get her friend to come out of her room.

"We're here for you, Rae," said Cyborg. "Don't close yourself off."

"This isn't what Anna would want you to do," said Beastboy.

Despite their best attempt, nothing worked. Raven remained locked in her room, just like she did for the last three days since they got back home.

After they defeated Trigon, they went to give Anna a proper burial. Raven took them to a peaceful place in the woods where Anna enjoyed going to with her when they first began their relationship. It is near a large tree with a flower bed surrounding it. Anna enjoyed spending her time there where they could be alone and relax.

So they buried her there and left a plaque for their friend, who they made as an honorary Titan. After they finished with the ceremony, Raven came back home and locked herself in her room. They tried to get her out so they can help her, but she used her powers to keep them out of her room. Robin told them they needed to wait for her to come out on her own, but they still wanted to try.

"Raven, we know you are sad, but you must please talk to us," said Starfire who continues to plead to her friend. "She was important to us too. That is why we must talk so we can help."

"Guys, leave her be," said Robin who sees his friends outside of Raven's door. "I told you. She will come out when she is ready."

"But it has been three days. I don't think she has even eaten," said Beastboy concerned for his friend.

"Maybe if I hack into the control panel…" Cyborg is interrupted when Robin moves his hand up.

"She saw someone she loves die in front of her. It's going to take time for her to open up, but when she does she will let us know," said Robin who understands the feeling of losing someone, especially people he loves.

The other Titans understand what Robin is saying and begin taking off. Robin on the other hand walks up to the door and knocks on it softly.

"Raven, if you do need anything just know we're here for you. You're not alone, you have us, your family," said Robin before he takes off and hopes Raven will talk to them soon.

Inside Raven's room, it is dark. The curtains are closed, the lights are off, and Raven is sitting in the corner with her knees to her chest. Her hair is still long after her fight with Trigon and saw no need to cut it. She did change out of clothes and when her friends slept did get something to eat, but not enough to keep her strength up.

She heard everything her friends said and knows they are worried about her. But she isn't ready to talk to them, and isn't sure when she will be ready. This is the first time in her life that she doesn't know what to do. With Trigon she knew her options, but without Anna she isn't sure what she is going to do now.

She is angry, sad, and depressed. She spoke to her emotions who tried helping her, but nothing worked. Getting up from the floor she floats over towards the door deciding maybe she should try talking to her friends, or maybe Robin. When she was in his mind she saw what happened to his parents.

So if anyone can help her with this, then it could be him. As she goes to open the door she hesitates. A part of her feels she should try talking to her friends, but another part of her is still worried about this. So she decides to try talking to them another time.

As she floats back, she notices the mirror nearby. She takes a look at herself and realizes that she looks like she hasn't slept in days. She decides she should leave the room to get some fresh air. At least as a first step before talking to her friends.

Phasing through the sealing she appears on the roof where she sees the sun is barely rising. She hasn't been keeping up with the time so she didn't know if it was morning or night. Being stuck in her room for three days can do that to anyone. She sits on the floor where she usually sits and looks out into the city. As she does she look next to her where Anna used to sit and meditate with her.

It brought some good memories for her, but the more she thought about them the more she realized that Anna is gone. She is dead and she is probably were she had feared she would end up. And she is the reason she is there. It's her fault and hates how despite all she risked to save her, she ended up failing her.

"Damn it, Anna. Why did you save me?" she asked herself. "You deserved to live more than me. I destroyed the world, I brought my father here, and I risked everyone's safety. Yet you and the others tried to save me. Why?"

She looks down and sees the medallion she has around her neck. She removes it and stares at it. It is the only thing she has left of Anna. The gift that saved her life and helped her defeat her father.

Yet she still feels upset for Anna giving her this, instead of keeping it. "If she had worn this then…she would have lived."

Raven decides she got enough fresh air and goes to leave when she feels a huge gust of wind pick up. It knocked Raven down and caused her to drop the medallion as it rolls off the roof of the tower.

"No!" She tries to grab the medallion, but when she looks over where it fell she sees it's gone. "Where is it? Where did it go?"

She looks around frantically, until he notices the medallion rolling behind her. She turns around to see it and grabs it before she loses it.

"How did you?" she looks around wondering how the medallion ended up behind her.

"You should be more careful with it. Those are not easy to come by these days," Raven gasped when she hears Anna's voice behind her. She turns around slowly and can't believe what she is seeing. "Hey Rae, how are you?"

Raven approaches the girl, who is wearing a white shirt, pants, shoes, and belt. She stops inches in front of her and slowly moves her hand up to touch her face. Anna smiles happily at her and grab her hand showing she is real.

"It's me, this is not an illusion or a dream," Anna said reassuring her girlfriend she is here.

Raven wraps her arms around Anna and brings in her for a hug. Anna returns the hug and can hear her girlfriend crying.

"I'm glad to see you too," Anna said as they break the hug, wiping away Raven's tears. "You feel better?"

"Almost," Raven with any strength she has left slaps Anna across the face leaving a hand imprint. "Now I do."

Anna moves her hand where she got slapped and hissed from the pain. "What the hell was that for?"

"That's for dying!" Raven shouted in anger.

Anna was about to argue, but she knew that was a good excuse to be angry. "I figured as much and I'm sorry. If I hadn't saved you though you would have been killed. And I wasn't going to let my girlfriend die, while I was around."

"And you think it was fine for me to see you die?" Raven replied while tears continued to flow down her eyes. "Do you know how much it hurt me and the others when we thought you were dead? Do you know how much pain I was in when I thought the one I love died? I thought you were gone. I thought I lost you."

Anna approaches Raven, who tries slapping her again. Anna caught her wrists though and wraps her arms around her for a hug. Raven struggled in her arms, but after a minute she broke down and return the hug. Anna kept her close and tries calming her down.

"I know and I'm so sorry. I knew doing what I did was a risk. A risk that would have cost me my life, but I had to do it. I love you Rachel, more than I have ever loved anyone before," Anna replied breaking the hug and tries to smile for her girlfriend. "I know what you went through and sorry for not being here sooner. I had to go through some stuff and negotiate to come back here, but…"

"Wait, what?" Raven asked confused by what Anna meant. "So you weren't well down there? You were…"

Anna points up. "It turns out sacrificing myself for you was enough to get me back home. Where do you think I got these stupid clothes?"

Raven felt a heavy burden lifted off her shoulders. She was afraid that Anna got send to the other side, but she is glad she didn't and was home.

"Anyways, when I went back up there I was given a choice. I could come back to Earth to be with you or stay up there."

"And you chose to come back?" Anna nods in response giving Raven her answer. "What about your home? Your parents? Your family?"

"You guys are my family. Not blood-related, but still family," Anna replied. "And besides I can't leave my beautiful girlfriend. I would miss her too much and I know she would miss me cuddling with her."

Raven playfully punches Anna in the arm. "I don't like cuddling."

"Sure you do," Anna replied sarcastically.

"Okay, well you mentioned something about negotiating. What did you mean by that?" Raven asked.

"Oh well I knew if I wanted to come back I would like to keep a few of my powers to continue my job," Anna explained.

"Your job?" Raven asked confused. "So, you want to continue working with the Vatican? Even after knowing you won't go…down there?"

Anna shrugs her shoulders. "I've gotten used to my job and let's face it I don't do the whole hero thing. Are you okay with this though?"

Raven nods in response. "I am, but can you stay here? With me…I mean us?"

Anna leans down and plants a kiss on Raven's lips giving her the answer she is looking for. "I hope Robin doesn't mind us sharing a room together."

"He won't, but what about your family? Are they okay with this?" Raven asked.

"They are," Anna replied. "They understand with my choice and only want me to be happy. Of course my mother will want to meet with you one day."

Raven smiled nervously. "I hope she doesn't think bad of me."

"I doubt it. Now then, before I go see them want to go for a little flying?" Anna asked.

"Flying? You mean me carrying you around?" Raven asked.

Anna shook her head. She begins removing her shirt revealing a white tube top underneath. As soon as the shirt is gone Anna reveals two long white feathered wings. Raven stare at them shocked and in awe. Anna giggles when she sees the reaction of her girlfriend and kisses her again to snap her out of her trance.

"You like them?"

Raven nods slowly. "I take it this is one of your powers you wanted to keep?"

"Yep," Anna wraps her arms around Raven as she begins using her wings to lift them up into the air. "And wait until later tonight when I show you what else I can do with them."

Raven's face began to blush when she thought of what Anna plan has for them. So she decides to try changing the subject with something she wanted to ask her.

"So where do you want to go?"

"Anywhere," Anna replied while holding Raven close. "As long as I'm with you, Rachel Roth."

Raven smiles happily and moves up to kiss Anna on the lips. Anna return the kiss and they embrace each other in passion.

A minute later they break the kiss as Raven moves her head on her girlfriend's chest. "I'm glad to be with you, Anna."

That is the end of the story everyone. I hope you all like the ending. Yeah this took me a while since I wanted the ending to be good. Not too long, but just enough for the ending to be satisfying.

Anyways, I might do a sequel for this story, but it will take me a while to work on anything related to a sequel. I want to try finishing up my other current stories and any future ones I had set to work on. So if I decide on a sequel I will let you all know. So until then please be patient and I'll let you all know what happens.
