Hey guys! This is the longest chapter of this story and I hope you enjoy it. Like every chapter, before I begin, I would like to thank mystery123, Michelle Rita, Guest, WolvesRock13, Lenny Sill, Musical Skater, mystery123 (again), and FangaWolfLover.

mystery123: you're welcome and I think everyone is.

Michelle Rita: Yeah it's from Fixer Upper. And you're welcome.

Guest: It's gonna get crazy from here on out. And then there'll be chapters like this which are all fluffy. And thanks.

WolvesRock13: Yeah ? is creepy as hey hey. Same here. I have a sort of idea of who it will be. It'll be a slight surprise. And here you are.

Lenny Sill: I laughed at this as I write this since I saw Grojband episode 'Rock the House' and the song says that 'the trash you've been talking.' I thought of that and laughed. I had a lot of free time ok... This one took a looong time to come up with for some reason. It's 4,000+ words not counting the author notes.

Musical Skater: Yeah they are creepy. And thank you and here you go.

FangaWolfLover: It's no one that you have listed. Just so you know. I actually forgot about her... I was reading old chapters and remembered her.. Thank you!

Disclaimer: G/B is not mine.

This chapter is 4,000+ words without A/Ns so enjoy this long chappie and I'll see you at the bottom.

Last time: My dad said we are moving back to Peaceville! We'll be there Monday!' I could've sworn that I saw something flash. "If he did, he would see that I've been head over heels for him since we were 11."

She's pretty, but I like Carrie more. I love Carrie more. Maybe if I can't get Carrie, which I definitely will, I can get the redhead.

?'s P.O.V.

I watched Carrie walk home by herself after the redhead left. I followed her a bit, but she didn't notice me. Carrie was humming a tune while tapping her leg as if she was keeping beat in a song. She got to her house and walked in.

I thought about kidnapping her for a second, but I decided against it since it's too early for her to know what really happened all those years ago.

As I walk back home, I wonder,' Will she remember me?'

Carrie's P.O.V.

I texted Macki about the song contest and then I sat on my bed an tried to think of lyrics. The time slowly, but also somehow quickly changed from 3:30 to 5:48. I still had nothing. When I was walking home, I thought I had something going, but I guess not. Maybe I should've been writing it down.

Throughout these two hours, I had switched my spots so many times since I was uncomfortable. I would write a few words, scribble them away, and then crinkle up the paper and toss it towards the waste basket. Over the hours, my waste basket has overflowed with paper.

I set the journal that I was writing on my bed and got up, stretching. I got myself something to eat. After I finished eating, I went back upstairs and sat in my spin-y computer chair. I spun in circles and decided to look at the clock. 7:00.

I got my phone out of my pocket. It was the same one I had when I left Peaceville. I sent a text to Laney, as I had gotten her number on the bus. 'How's the song writing going?'

She responds a few seconds later,' I actually wrote it in school. Core doesn't know I can write songs'

'Why doesn't he know?'

'He never asked so I didn't think he would care to know...?'

'I'll accept that horrible excuse for an excuse for now, but I want a better explanation later. I'm doing horrible. I can't even write a few sentences without throwing it away. It's bad.'

'Core is having the same issues. I'm sitting next to him in our groj.'

'Maybe we can use old lyrics. And that's seriously what you call your garage? I'm going to e-mail the lady and see if we can. I'll text back.' I respond.

I did as I said and sent an e-mail to the woman who gave us our task. As I was typing it, my phone chimed, signifying that I just received a text.

'Yes that is what we call it. And we should be able to since they are songs that we have written.'

In the Groj Transition!

Laney's P.O.V.

I sat with my arm draped over Core's slumped shoulders. We sat silently at the end of the stage. The blue haired boy's head was in his hands as I rubbed his upper arm with the arm I wrapped around him.

The spawn of Satan, also known as Trina, has finally mellowed out a bit and slightly reverted back to Katrina. This meant that we weren't able to steal lyrics anymore. We haven't been able to tell the Grojband groupies and fans that we don't have anymore songs. Maybe forever.

I squeezed him closer to my side, blushing. "You'll think of something Core. You always do."

He pulled his face from his hands," But Laney, that's the thing. I don't have a plan. There's no crazy thing to make her," he motioned upstairs. "Go 'diary' and possibly destroy half the town in the process. I don't have anything and I don't want to lose you guys. You're - you guys are the world to me. And I don't want you guys to leave me." Corey stared at me with his gorgeous ocean like blue eyes.

I pulled him into a tight hug, like one he would give me when we were younger. I whispered by his ear," Oh Corey. We would never leave you. Not in this lifetime anyway."

"Awww! What is this adorable display of affection?" Kin asked, snicker in his voice. I released Corey and jumped of the stage to go hit Kin. He ran to hide on the stairs. Let's just say this happens a lot. I punched him hard on his arm.

"Well maybe you two shouldn't do PDAs in the groj in front of everyone," Kin said, rubbing his left arm.

"Shut it Kin!" I yell as my face flushes.

Kon shuts the fridge door and looks at Kin and me. My fists are clenched. Sometimes our keyboardist gets on my nerves and today he was. "I don't think this is a good time to ask, but Kin, what does PDA mean?"

Kin nervously looks at his brother. "Why dear brother, why must you ask me that now? It means public display of affection."

"So it's like when you and Kim hug in public?" Kin's face flushed a bright red color. I stood there and laughed. Holding my stomach from laughter, through giggles I managed out," Karma's a biatch, huh?"

Corey who had sat silently this entire time decided to speak," Guys we have a bigger problem than who's public display of affection is better." Corey stands on the stage and walks from one side to the other. "So how are we going to get lyrics with Trina being nice? I never thought this day would come." He takes of his hat and runs a hand through it.

I stared at him. At his beautiful eyes and messy hair and face. I was kicked out of my fantasies by a elbow in my rib. I turned to Kin. "What?" I whispered.

"He asked if we had any suggestions of what to do with the lyric issue."

"Hey, Core," I say as I get up on stage next to him. "I don't want to sound like I do all the time, but maybe you should write a song this time."

"I've tried. Remember when Kate and Allie kidnapped me?"

"Yeah, Corey we were all there," Kin answered from in front of the stage.

"Maybe we can do songs we already wrote. Technically they're songs we wrote," Corey said.

"I already have Carrie asking the chick if we can. I'm just waiting for a reply." On cue my phone started playing a random tune.

'She said we can play old songs.'

I tell this to the boys who seem absolutely overjoyed. "Hey Lanes, why weren't you nervous about not being able to write a song."

"That's because I already have a song. That I wrote."

"You can write lyrics?"

"So can you. Y'know that thing you do where you take words from your sister's diary and make them not like her entry? It's called lyric writing."

"Psh. No it's not. That's just my genius in work."

I roll my eyes. "Yeah, sure it is. Just keep telling yourself that Einstein." I pat his back and smile up at him.

"PDA!" Kon yells.

"Kon!" Corey, Kin, and I yell.

Kin continues,"it was just getting good. I wanted to see where it was going."

"Kin!" I yell as I jump off of the stage. "Want to say it again?"

"N-No I'm good."

"That's what I thought."

"Lanes, I want to know where you were going with that too. Since when can you song write? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Since after the Metrogmone incident," my cheeks redden as I think of what happened right before we went on stage. I look at the ground. When I look back up, Corey quickly turns his still hat less head, light blush on his cheeks. "And I'm not exactly sure why I didn't tell you guys before. Sorry."

"It's fine. Can we hear your song?" Kon asked.

"No, sorry guys. I want it to be a surprise. You'll hear it Monday."

"Really?" All three of them ask.

"Yeah."

"Can you please play it?"

"Pleeeeeeease?" They ask in unison while giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Only play it and no lyrics?"

"If you'll show us that then it's fine," Corey said, one arm holding his body and other arm waving me on. I get back on the stage.

"Hey Core?"

"Yeah Lanes?"

"Can I use your guitar?"

"I guess so, but don't-"

"Break it, scratch it, drop it, scuff it. I know," I say picking his red and orange guitar from its stand. I slip the strap over my shoulder. I start to strum and I almost start singing. Instead of singing, I begin to hum the song aloud.

When I finished, I was greeting with applause. After putting down Corey's precious guitar, I sarcastically curtsy. "Thank you. Thank you."

A few minutes later, we pulled out a list of our songs. "So which one should we play?" asked Corey.

"Well," I say from the stage. "I think you should write a song, but I personally like 'My Mind', 'Love It's In My Heart', ' If The World is Ending', and 'Our Number Ones Always Came First.' I love all of our songs, but I'm not going to sing with you guys. I'll play my bass in which ever song you choose. I love all of our songs so its hard to choose. Its like asking me which one of you I like more. And shut it Kin." The smirk disappeared slightly from the four eyed keyboardist.

"Hey Corey, why don't we ask Katrina to pick it. She loves us now," Kon said.

"You just want to see her," Kin said. Kon promptly smacked Kin's arm in the exact spot where I had punched him earlier.

"That's a great idea Kon," Corey exclaims standing up suddenly.

Rubbing his arm, Kin asks aloud," Why does everyone keep hitting me there?" He wasn't really expecting an answer.

"Well you deserve it, you butt," Kon says. I snicker behind my hand like Kin did earlier.

After composing myself, I ask," So Core how do we get your nice sister to choose which song? Got some crazy plan that just might work?" I tease.

"It isn't a crazy plan Lanes. We give her a CD or something of our songs and a list of songs. So then we tell her to put a score between 1 and 5. One being 'that song is so grody' and five being 'that song was totes amaze'." He impersonated what Trina used to sound like. The weird thing is that he did it pretty well.

"That actually sounds like a normal plan," I say, stretching as I get up from my spot by Kon's drums. The twins mumble something that sounds like agreement.

We all watch as Corey grabs a CD case, player, and a piece to double sided paper. The twins and I follow him up to his sister's room. He knocked and she opened the door, long pink hair in twin braids on either side of her shoulders.

"What can I do for you little bro? I'm kinda busy right now," Katrina blew on freshly painted nails. Mina sat on the bed, waving at us.

"Oh, that's fine," Corey said, shoving the CD player with our CD in it and the paper. "Just listen to these songs and rate it on a scale of 1 to five. One being 'ew' and five being 'amaze'. Thanks sis!"

Corey started down the stairs when Katrina had finally figured out a way to not use her hands to close the door. Core sat at the seat in front of the t.v. and looked up at us as we walked down the stairs. "So what do you guys want to do while we wait? It's gonna take a while."

"How about we have a sleepover!" Kon suggests.

"Yeah sure. I'm gonna go grab some clothes from home." I looked at the twins. "You guys are so lucky that you live right across the street. So if I'm not back within about twenty minutes, maybe thirty, start to worry. Call me of something." I looked at the boys on the couch, hardly listening to what I'm saying. I roll my eyes and start on the walk home.

About four minutes into the walk, halfway home, I decided to text Carrie. 'So have you decided which song you're doing?'

An answer comes quickly, 'Nope. How about on you're end?'

'We're deciding on one to tonight. We are having a sleepover at Corey's. So 'sup?'

'The ceiling?'

I scoffed at this, my breath showing on the cold September night. 'Ha ha. You're sooo funny'

'Im actually being pretty bored since no one is home, I'm guessing B is with Trina. Dad is still finalizing grandma's belongings and burial place and stuff.'

'Yeah Mina is at Core's. I just got to my house. Give me a few and I'll text back.'

I open the front door to my house and walk in. My mother stands in front of me. "Hi honey. Where are you going?"

"Mom, I'm going to have a sleepover at Core's with Kin and Kon. I need to grab some clothes," I explain, wanting to run upstairs before we got into her saying how I should kiss Corey.

"Are you going to stay for dinner?" my mom asked.

"I don't think I will be. I told them to call if I didn't come back within twenty minutes."

She moved out of my way and I practically ran up to my purple room. I grab a small duffel bag and stuffed a change of clothes and chargers onto it. I looked at my reflection in the mirror. My red hair has grown out a bit. By a bit, I mean to just past my shoulders. I used a less amount of makeup than I used to wear. My signature green and black striped shirt has 'grown' sleeves and I now wore a yellow tank top which you see since my striped shirt was off of my narrow shoulders.

I slung the bag over my left shoulder. My jacket pulled on a strand of my hair so I pulled my head back, allow my hair to be free. I did one last check in the mirror before heading back downstairs. I looked into the kitchen and I saw my mother and father eating at the table. They were having spaghetti and garlic bread. I walked over to the table and grabbed a piece of garlic bread and went to the door.

As I shut the door behind me, I heard my mother say," Make you're move honey. I'm sure he feels the same!"

I then heard my dad scold my mother, "Charlotte!" My cheeks burned as the cool air hit them once more. I checked the time and saw that 9 minutes had passed since I first texted Carrie on my way home.

'Is it weird that my parents openly accept me liking my best friend? My mom just told me to kiss him.'

'Like really?' I could hear the laughter through the text.

I smiled and texted back, 'Really. She said to make my move today.'

'I just fell off my bed from laughing.'

'Laugh it up Carrie. I'll get you back someday. It may not be tomorrow. Or the next day or the day after that, but it will happen when you least expect it.'

'Now you're creeping me out...'

'I have that affect on people. Well I'm at Core's again so I'll text you lates.'

'Okay. See you later.'

I opened the normal door to the groj and walked in to see Corey in his white shirt that he wears under the black one. I plopped into the space next to him.

"So what are we watching Core?" I whisper.

"Some scary movie I think. Kin just found it some where," he responded.

"Well can you pause it? I want to change my clothes real quick."

"Yeah sure." The remote appeared in his hand it the movie was paused. I took my bag and went into the bathroom. I swapped out my striped shirt for an over sized Grojband shirt that looked like Kate's shirt. I slipped on baggy black pants. I combed through my hair with my fingers and took out my yellow barette. My bangs stayed on that side of my face. I stripped my face of its makeup and shoved my clothes in the bag.

I went back to my spot next the guy of my dreams. That's when I realized that Kin and Kon weren't there. "Where'd Kin and Kon go?"

"They went home to go get some stuff. They'll be back soon," says Corey while looking around the groj. Kin obviously set me up. He was going to get my revenge. So this left me alone in a room with my crush, with all the lights off since we always have the lights off when we watch a movie. My heart hammered in my chest to the point that I thought he could hear it. My thoughts were not helping at all. I kept think of all the times that he would put his finger to my lips or hug me tightly or almost kiss me. And then there was the time where we did kiss during the second New Year.

I stared at his face with the light of the T.V. illuminating both of our faces. I noticed that he glanced over at me. To my relief, my phone chimed and it was Carrie. 'Tell you're band that the lady said that if we do old songs, that as many people that are doing that is how many songs you need.'

A bit confused, I ask,' You mean like if Corey, Kin, and Kon are doing that as a small group, they would each need a song?'

'Precisely.' Carrie responded.

I turned back to the cutie next to me. "Hey Core," I started. He turned his head towards me. "Carrie just sent me a text that I need everyone to be here for. I don't want to repeat-"

I was cut off by the sound of the door opening. The twins came in through the door with snacks and clothes for themselves. They were talking to each other. I got up on the stage, a seemingly good place to announce things today. "Boys, I have news for you. Since you are all doing old songs, you will each have to sing one song. But you can still play together."

"So we all have to have our own song still?" asked Kin.

"Yep," I replied.

"That isn't that bad," said Kon.

I slid off the stage since it was still dark and I took my spot beside Core once more. Kon sat on Corey's right side and Kin on my left side. The movie started up again and the words,' Based on true events', appear on the screen.

The movie starts off with a small family moving into a new house. The oldest daughter was five and the younger one was 3 when they moved. So the mother watched her two children as she did housework as her husband worked. Their Australian Shepard, Noodles (the five year old named her) was very protective of the two little girls. Several years passed before the experiences started. Miranda, the older of the two was now ten and Anna, the younger, was 8. They were expecting a baby, but there wasn't any rooms left in the home since the girls didn't want to share a room.

So if the girls wanted separate rooms, they would have to add on to the house. That's when it started to happen. It wasn't much, but the dog would bark at the corner and things would be in other rooms. One time, the workers that were building the room left a ladder and they went to go eat lunch. They came back and the ladder was missing. Paint buckets went missing allow with other gear. Anna once went missing, but was found in the basement holding Noodles.

As the girls began to grow up, they would still play childish games like truth or dare, hide and seek, and tag. One day Miranda was looking for her little sister. Anna would clap to give clues to where she was hiding. Miranda ended up going the wrong way, she had thought she heard Anna's claps, but they weren't Anna's. When Miranda saw that Anna didn't come from where she had heard the claps, the older sister began to get scared. There was something in her house and she knew this now. Whatever this was, it scared her. She felt as if it could and would hurt her family and herself.

I knew by now that Core would probably be a bit freaked out since he isn't the hugest fan of scary movies. His left arm had come down from the back of the couch sometime after the movie began. It seemed like now his hand was searching for one to hold. I put my dainty hand in the path of his. Corey's warm palm collided with the cool top of mine. He looked down from the screen to make sure it was real. He looked at me as I watched the movie.

The look he gave me was sort of like a thank you look. I whispered," You're welcome." We stared at each other for a moment and I could've sworn that I had heard Kin snickering behind me or it was in my head. I don't know which one it was. I turned my head back to the TV and Corey followed in suit. In that moment a face popped up on the screen. He squeezed my hand a bit and I gently squeeze back in a reassuring sense.

After we finished the movie, spoiler alert, the family moves out, we decided to put the TV on sleep and then just eventually fall asleep. I could tell that Core was still nervous about the whole ghost thing. After all that is one of his flaws and he doesn't like to show people how he does have fears. He wants to seem fearless.

I grabbed a warm blanket and draped it over both of us. We started to get a bit tired so I then surprised both of us by putting my head on his shoulder. It seemed like he tensed up for a second, but then relaxed. The last thing I remember before falling asleep on my crush's arm, is Corey whispering," Good night Lanes."

Last P.O.V. Change Of The Longest Chapter Transition!

Corey's P.O.V.

I watched as Laney fell asleep on my arm. Kin got up from his spot on the stage, marker in hand. "Let's draw on her face!"

"Let's not and say we did," I say in a hushed voice, not wanting to wake the small girl whose hand I was still holding.

"Why not Corey? Its revenge for her always hitting me up. And I don't even mean that in a good way. For such a small girl she hits like a dude. A big dude," Kin says rubbing his arm.

"We shouldn't since, like you said, she hits really hard. And just leave her alone. It'll be paymemt for having to deal with us. So just let her sleep. Do you really want her coming at you in the morning?"

Kin shook his head. "That's what I thought. Now go to sleep. We have stuff to do tomorrow. Which is choosing which songs and hanging with our groupies and stuff."

Before Kin lied back down I heard him say, " You're just protecting your girlfriend."

"Shut it Kin!" I whisper yell at him. He snickers and then goes to sleep.

I place my head gently on Laney's. I drift into a deep slumber.

I know that the movie was kind of like the Conjuring with the clapping thing and I know. I was going to write about that movie, but the one you read about was from my imagination land. So I hope you enjoyed the Corney shipping I shoved in there. I finished watching the rest of the G/B season this week and that's where this came from.

If you have song recommendations for Grojband send them through PMs or reviews. So please review! Love you guys and see you next time. ~A
