Ciel and Sebastian's face became solid and Ciel went from being annoyed and aroused to being worried and nervous. Sebastian stood up and lifted Ciel up with him, placing him on his feet before zipping his pants up and finding a baggy shirt in the dresser for Ciel to put on.
The two men flew out of the room and Ciel threw on the shirt while he scurried up to the front door, opening it quickly. Two policemen stood in front of the wooden slab, both adorned in typical navy blue uniforms, one wearing a pair of aviators and chewing on some gum.
"Can I help you, officers?" Ciel's brows furrowed a bit, not sure what to expect. Were they in trouble for keeping Nicola at the house without letting her guardian know? Had they done something illegal? Was this all just a misunderstanding?
"Yeah. Is Sebastian Michaelis here?" The policeman smacking on his piece of gum asked in a rather uninterested tone. Ciel's eyes widened and he opened his mouth to say something but was gently pushed to the side. Sebastian stepped next to him and rested a hand on the boy's shoulder.
"I'm Sebastian Michaelis." The man's dark accent sounded just as confused as Ciel's. Alois stood behind them waiting to figure out what was going on as well. His arms were crossed over his chest and one of his hands was cradling his chin as he chewed on his nails.
"Sir, is this your place of residence?" The policeman sounded bored. Sebastian's fine eyebrows arched and he shifted his weight onto one foot.
"It's not." The policeman doing the talking shot a look back to his partner with the aviators on and nodded.
"Sir, you're going to have to come with us." Ciel's eyes widened and he grabbed Sebastian's arm, pulling the man closer towards him.
Sebastian's adrenaline began to kick in, feeling the need to protect Ciel and Alois from anything that might happen. His eyes narrowed and he focused on the two uniform clad men past the threshold. His hard eyes examined the men quickly, finding two lumps on their sides underneath their jackets with guns. He tried to calm himself down, not wanting to cause a scene in front of the two boys. He allowed his body to relax and his shoulders slouched forward a bit. He gently slipped his arm out of Ciel's grasp and leaned forward, kissing the boy's soft hair and caressing his cheek tenderly before flashing him a fake but reassuring smile.
"I'll be back before the night is over. I promise." Ciel nodded and tried to force his own smile but couldn't. Sebastian reached back and ruffled up Alois's hair playfully. The boy didn't resist the childish gesture, just stood there with a surprised expression plastered on his paled face.
Sebastian snatched up a jacket off the back of the couch and walked out of the apartment, bumping both policemen's shoulders roughly with his own. They rolled their eyes and began to follow the taller man down the stairs.
Alois reached forward and closed the door before turning around to wrap his arms around Ciel. The dark haired boy laid he head down to rest against his friend's shoulder.
"What the hell just happened?" Ciel's voice sounded painfully dead. Alois rubbed Ciel's back and patted his butt gently.
"Hey, he'll be back before you know it. Just try not to think about it for now." Ciel looked up and met the blonde boy's aqua blue eyes.
"How am I supposed to do that? What just happened is kind of a big deal." Alois stuck his tongue out and rolled his eyes.
"Pssh. We've been through worse, you and me. This is nothing. I'm sure they just made a big mistake and it'll all be settled soon." Ciel watched as Alois cracked a goofy smile. He knew what his friend was saying, it made sense to him. He knew that he was trying to ease his confusion and pain with silliness and comforting distractions.
"So. I say we go out and do something today. Instead of staying cooped up like always, let's go somewhere." Ciel's eyebrow rose and he stood up straight.
"Where do you propose we go?"
"We can go anywhere. Shopping, out to eat, to a park or a movie. We could do all of that if you wanted." Ciel couldn't help but smile at how excited Alois was getting. He nodded and playfully punched the other boy's arm.
"What about Nicola?" Ciel looked around the apartment expecting to find the girl hiding somewhere.
"I took her out earlier and she decided she wanted to go home." A look of worry made itself apparent on Ciel's face, thinking about the little girl going home to her horrible family. He didn't like the idea of her being away from them and with people who took such poor care of her.
"Hey, she'll be alright. I promise." After a minute or so of silence between the two, Ciel looked at his friend and nodded.
"Alright, let's get dressed and head out." Alois clapped his hands together and scurried off to his room.
As the boy disappeared into his room, Ciel's face became lifeless once again. His eyes darted for the window at the other end of the living room. He wanted to understand what was going on. Why had Sebastian been taken away by the police? Had he done something bad that Ciel didn't know about? He shook his head and felt smooth strands of hair whipping across his cheeks and forehead. He walked towards his bedroom to get ready to go out with his best friend. He wanted to be distracted from the endless questions.
Two pairs of small feet treaded down a busy, crowded street. They rushed through a sea of on-goers and stopped momentarily to exchange a few words. Deciding on which way to go, they turned sharp and began to weave sideways through the uneven flow of traffic. Alois whistled for a cab and hoisted his hand up in the air.
"You know that whistling thing you see in movies never really works." Alois turned around and stuck his tongue out at Ciel.
"Shut up."
A car eventually rolled up to the curb and stopped for the two boys. They hurried inside and slammed the door shut, situating themselves and buckling their seat belts. The cab driver looked back in his rearview mirror and grinned.
"Where to boys?" They both looked at the man's reflection in the small section of the mirror. The man was scrawny and dirty looking. His facial hair was unkempt and his salt and pepper colored hair was greasy and stringy looking. His eyes were heavy and looked like they were deprived of sleep and bloodshot. Ciel tried not to stare and looked out of the window instead of in the mirror.
"Gross." Ciel elbowed his friend sharply in the side and coughed loudly.
"To Princeton Street please." The man chuckled to himself and took off down the street. The two boys sat and talked quietly about what else they wanted to do with themselves before going home. They had already gone to two malls and picked up a few things and wandered through a marketplace and a local bizarre. They were on their way to another side of town. They laughed at one another's jokes and took out their items to look at from the stores they had stopped at. The driver's diseased looking eyes continuously glanced back to the backseat and watched the two young men intently. His leg shifted in the seat and he reached down to adjust the erection hidden underneath his sandy colored pants.
"Princeton is for sex shops, strippers and prostitutes." The two pairs of blue shaded eyes darted up and met the man's sickening gaze in the mirror once again.
"You two looking to do some work? Heh. I'll be your first customer." The man grinned and fixed the mirror towards his now exposed cock. Ciel's eyes widened and he looked out the window to see where they were. They were about two streets away from where they wanted to be.
"Listen you sack of shit, I-"
"This will be far enough. Let us out." Ciel pulled out a twenty dollar bill and threw it forward into the front seat, opening his door. The cab driver slowed down and Ciel grabbed his bags, along with a few of Alois's and jumped out of the slow moving vehicle. Alois soon followed and slammed the door shut, shouting profanities at the man inside. The cab sped off and the driver held a hand out of the window with his middle finger up.
"Fucking teases!"
Once the car was out of sight, the two friends began walking towards Princeton. They talked about how disgusting the man was and Alois went on about how he had a lot more to say to the guy. They eventually reached their desired destination and looked around. There were stores everywhere and so many neon signs in the windows, many of them not lit since the sun was still out. They ran up to the first one on their side of the street and were greeted with a delicate scent of cinnamon and warm vanilla when they stepped inside.
A woman popped up from behind the counter. She was wearing a bikini top that was well below two sizes too small for her oversized breasts. The rest of her looked bare, aside from the accessories adorning her arms and neck. She had a few facial piercings and countless tattoos all over her tanned flesh. She smiled at the two as they approached the counter.
"Welcome. Let me know if there's anything I can help you two with." The woman bent over the countertop, pressing her probably extremely heavy chest onto the scuffed wooden top while leaning forward seductively.
"Anything at all." She fluttered her fake eyelashes and chewed on her lower overly glossed lip and scanned the two boy's thin bodies.
Ciel clenched his teeth and looked away, nodding. Alois opened his mouth to say something but was spun around by Ciel and pushed off into the far end of the store. The two messed around a little bit, pushing each other around and playfully hitting one another and giggling.
They began to look through the merchandise stocked on the shelves and Ciel found a shelf with assorted oils and lubrications while Alois went off to look through the clothing racks. The dark haired boy scanned over the oils, occasionally picking one up and unscrewing the lid to sample the scent. He found one he really like and picked out two bottles and a small, pretty frosted glass oil burner. He walked towards the end of the shelf and examined the lubrications they had in stock. His eyes wandered and he found a few that were edible and flavored. He picked one up that read wild cherry and popped the lid open. He sniffed it and his eyes widened. It smelled sweet and delicious. He placed it back on the shelf and reached back to grab one a few rows back that was still in a box.
He spun around and walked down a row of shelves covered in numerous arrangements of sex toys and accessories. There were all kinds of vibrators and penetration toys as well as bondage equipment and things that looked painful and dangerous. He didn't find anything in particular that he liked. He had never bought anything like a vibrator and now that he and Sebastian had finally had sex, he saw no point in getting one.
Ciel's cheeks were stained red thinking about him and Sebastian and the night they had spent together. He couldn't help but think about Sebastian's much stronger body pinning him, mounting him and dominating him. The intense waves of constant, nonstop pleasure throughout the night. Ciel felt himself becoming aroused and tried to think of something else.
Still thinking about Sebastian and the promise he had made before taking off with the policemen, he decided they should have a small get together that night for when Sebastian got back. He strode down the row and towards the clothing area to find Alois to let him know. As if timed perfectly, as Ciel walked up to the area he expected his friend to be in, Alois stepped out of a dressing room clad in only a small, tight pair of black shorts with fishnet stockings and sleek, sexy thigh high boots. Ciel whistled and looked over Alois's body.
"That's real hot buddy." Alois twirled around and looked at his backside in a floor length mirror. He smiled and looked at Ciel in the reflection of the mirror. The boy was scanning his friend's body and smiling.
"What?" Alois looked down at himself and turned around again.
"Nothing. You just have a cute looking butt." Alois grinned and slapped his hand against his skin, making a loud smacking noise. Alois pointed at the clothing rack and motioned for Ciel to go in that direction.
"You put something on." Ciel turned towards the clothes.
"I don't know, nothing in here looks like it would look good on me." Alois scoffed and pushed his friend towards the clothes.
"What the hell ever. You look good in everything." The two looked through the numerous hangers of skimpy clothes and finally Alois picked something out for Ciel to try on. He tossed the garment at the boy and pushed him into the changing booth.
"Grab me some boots to go with this." Alois heard Ciel pulling his pants off inside of the booth and walked towards a shelving area covered in all kinds of shoes.
"I got it." Alois looked around for something to go with the white outfit he had picked out for his friend.
"Hey, I was thinking. We should get some friends together tonight for when Sebastian gets back." Alois snatched a pair of glittering white boots that were just about as tall as his own and he slid them under the door.
"Like a party?" The boy's eyes lit up and he stood on the tips of his toes looking inside of a basket of accessories on sale.
"Yeah, like a party."
"That sounds fun, we should definitely do it. We need to pick up some snacks before we go home." Alois heard the door handle click and he turned around to see his friend standing in front of the door. He looked great, the glittery boots matching a pair of white laced, spandex boyshorts that fit him well. The boy's eyes settled on Ciel's sparkling stone bellybutton ring dangling from his naval.
"Well?" Ciel turned sideways and examined himself in the mirror like Alois had done before.
"I'd do you right now. I'd do you so hard." Ciel laughed and pulled his friend next to him. They wrapped their arms around one another's shoulders and smiled.
"We look good." Alois nodded and pulled the basket of accessories down and they rummaged through it, finding Alois a belt and some wrist cuffs that matched his outfit and Ciel a garter, a white choker and a rhinestone chain belt that wrapped around his stomach.
"Are you guys finding everything back here?" The two turned their attention towards the woman who had been standing behind the counter. She was wearing skimpy jean shorts and fluffy boots and more tattoos were visible on her legs. The woman's silver eyes stared in awe at the two boys dressed up and holding one another.
"I think we've found everything we were looking for, thank you." The woman blushed and couldn't help but stare at the two. She nodded in a daze and turned around slowly.
"I'll be at the counter." She walked away quickly and the two friends looked at one another and began to laugh uncontrollably.
"She probably feels bad about trying to seduce us earlier." Alois agreed and slapped Ciel's butt playfully.
"Come on, let's go."
The two changed quickly and brought all of their items up to the counter and paid for their new clothes, toys and other items. The woman gave them both a small box of something wrapped up in sparkly paper and said goodbye to them.
"Come back anytime!" They waved and smiled at her before stepping out onto the street and taking off for another store.
Eventually after a few more hours of running around throughout different stores, the two decided to head back to their neighborhood and call their friends before Sebastian came back. They found a cab that was much cleaner to get them back home. The woman didn't speak hardly any English so she kept to herself. It was getting darker outside and they weren't home yet. They asked the woman to drop them off at the grocery store down the street from their apartment and it wasn't too much longer before they reached it. They paid the woman and said thank you to her before running inside and grabbing whatever they could think of.
Ciel grabbed frosted cupcakes and cookies that were on sale and ran towards the section where the drinks were. He grabbed a box of Root Beer and took off for the register. He tossed his snacks onto the counter before turning back to look for Alois. He shifted his bags from the hand they had been in to his now free hand. Alois came scurrying up to the register with another box of soda in his hand, a gallon of ice cream tucked under his arm and two large bags of chips clamped in his mouth by his teeth. He released the chips onto the conveyor belt with Ciel's goods and hoisted the soda up before setting the tub of ice cream down.
The two smiled at each other and were checked out quickly, splitting the cost of the groceries. Alois took Ciel's bags and the food while Ciel grabbed the two cases of soda and they took off for their apartment only a few minutes away.
Before they knew it they were home and rushing up the stairs. When they walked in, Agni, Grell and Lizzy were already there sitting on their couch waiting for them.
"Hey guys!" Alois smiled and ran into the kitchen. Ciel looked at their friends and smiled.
"Hey! How did you all know to be here already?" They all looked at Alois.
"I called them." Ciel's face scrunched up and he followed his friend into the kitchen.
"Called them with what?" Alois turned around and held up a cell phone. It was small and simple flip phone.
"When did you get that?"
"Yesterday. I figured it'd be better if I had one." Ciel quirked an eyebrow and began taking out the cupcakes and cookies and placed them on some plates. Alois's mind flashed back to the horrific experience he had endured a few nights prior to this one. When he had been attacked in the alleyway and Claude had saved him. He felt his heart ache at the thought of it all and gritted his teeth. He was snapped out of thought when he heard Ciel walk over into the living room with the snacks.
He looked at the bags on the counter and took his to his room and dropped Ciel's next to his dresser for him. Alois padded back into the kitchen to pour the chips into two large bowls before he joined up with his friends occupying the living room. The sodas were being snatched up quickly and the group began to catch up with one another. Everything was going well until someone decided to bring up the unfortunate last encounter with Ciel's old boss.
"Ciel, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry for never sticking up for you at work and never doing something about what was happening." Everyone became silent and Ciel looked up at Lizzy who was sitting across the table from him, a saddened look on her delicate face.
"Lizzy, it's okay. It was happening to you too. I didn't do anything to stick up for you either. So I'm sorry. I'm sorry to all of you. Something should have been done sooner. Things were bound to get out of control." The men and Lizzy nodded in agreement and Grell reached towards Ciel to grab his shoulder, pulling the smaller boy towards him.
"Well, thanks to your Sebastian, we all quit!" Ciel's eyes widened and he gave them all a terrifying look.
"You did what?"
"We quit silly." Grell seemed mighty cheery about it when he said it the second time.
"But, what about your jobs? What are you guys going to do now?" Grell began to ruffle up Ciel's hair and soon they were in a playful wrestling match on the floor.
"We all found new ones rather quickly. With his reputation on the line, the boss agreed to write us all a quite handsome letter of recommendation." Agni's voice was as calm and soothing as usual. Ciel felt a bit more reassured when he heard that they had all found other jobs.
Grell continued to mess with Ciel and the boy in turn fought back. They rolled around on the floor together and the rest of them watched and cheered them on, laughing whenever Ciel would top Grell. The group was having such a good time goofing off none of them noticed Sebastian slip into the apartment.
