Chapter Forty One: School Attack
Frost's POV
"Hush little baby don't say a word, cause mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird", A child-like voice echoed eerily throughout this forsaken asylum that I ventured through with no explanation to how or why I'm here... My blood ran cold through my iced veins as I stuttered through an endless hallway that wielded nothing but shut doors with blood smeared across. Up ahead, in gloomy grey hallway to the left, a door creaked open, causing me to stop for a moment, frozen in fear as the child-like voice sang the second part of the song. "And if that mocking bird don't sing, then mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring"... I gulped, gritting my teeth slightly as fear overcame me... But I fought back. I decided to push forwards... I've gone through more scarier things before! A mere child singing a song won't hurt me!
With a heart filled with courage, I took a brave step forwards, then another, then another. Each step growing heavier and heavier as I approached the wide opened, grey steel door that was stained with petals of blood and pink chunky bits of flesh. With one deep breath of air, I nearly collapsed and vomited on the spot to the horrifically disgusting smell of whatever was inside, inducing nausea and discouragement from moving on... Yet I battled it, grasping onto it's sides before pulling myself to stand in front of the door... My eyes widened, my heart raced against time as I saw something so terrifying, that not even my mind could process it...
It was me. Black Melody... I saw myself tied up on a wooden table, my wrists and ankles strapped to the corners via chain handcuffs that looked medieval-like. The room was hardly lit, but it was more than enough for me to see everything inside... I watched her tremble in pure utter fear, crying out silent streams of sadness from her eyes as they pooled up beside her head. Slowly, regaining a small portion of my composure, I took a step forward, suddenly stopping as the sound of seething knives emitted from right behind me, causing my eyes to widen a tenfold before I spun around, bracing myself for impact. Surprisingly and completely unexplainable, I saw White just walk right THROUGH me like I was a spirit... I gasped in pure utter shock, turning around again to see her walk up to Black with a pleasant smile plastered across her face as she held a rusty, light brown, rough blade in her right hand and many old, wooden nails along with a black stone mallet in her left. Black's eyes widened, focusing onto the mallet over the blade as she found it more hostile, causing White to smile devilishly before she slowly placed the knife down onto the table right beside Black's head...
I was utterly horrified. And I knew for a damn fact that I can't do anything right now. This is a dream... But even for a fucking dream this is too fucking intense! It's like watching Saw!
"How are you feeling, Black Melody? Are you still sane?", White asked in a soothing, demonic tone of voice that made Black gasp and whimper in fear, turning her head to the right as I slowly approached the other side of the table where she was tied up on, widely staring down at her. "That's right. You can't talk. After all, I did take out your voice box"... She did... What?! My eyes suddenly widened to what she just said, making me blankly blink before she continued. "How shall we do it? Slow and painful, or slow and painful?", She asked... What's she up to... I grit my teeth lightly, folding my arms close to my chest as I took a proud stance, wanting to see what would happen next... Because I know well that this is a dream, I decided to take it a bit lightly and see what White would do to me. Or in this case, her. Besides, I know for a fact that I'm at school and probably asleep on Lizzo's lap...
"Ah!", She cried, putting the mallet into her right hand as she placed all of the rusty wooden nails onto the table beside the blade that rested beside Black's head to the left, causing her eyes to widen and my heart to thump like a thousand drums. "Let's begin with a classic torcher technique. I'll put a nail into every join of your right hand. Then we'll do something more... Delicious. Something that you did to me"... This is gonna be brutal... Damn! Why am I even bothering to watch this?!... "Or...", She began, looking directly into Black's damp eyes before she suddenly raised her right hand up high above her head and grinned like an arch demon, reaching to as far as her lips could go, exposing her razor sharp teeth of death... "We play whack a mole!", She cried before she plummeted the metal, black headed mallet down onto Black's poor, poor face as hard as possible, shattering it almost entirely as blood splattered all over the place and into White's terrifying face that knew no mercy... W...What... I...Is she...
"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!", She screamed as loud as ever as she repeatedly smashed Black's face over and over again, breaking her bloodstained teeth, squishing her two eyes, demolishing her jaws and disrupting her brain entirely... She looked unrecognisable. More compare able to minced meat than a human being. She was dead. No doubt. A brutal finish... By that first strike, she endured a lot of pain until the next three strikes before she died by brain damage... A painful death... I gagged on my own puke, gritting my teeth as hard as possible to hold it in. Desperately and painfully, I swallowed it back down in disgust before suddenly, Black's stomach vibrated for no obvious reason at all... Huh? I blinked, slamming both my palms onto the table noisily, causing it to rattle before her stomach shook again... Then again, it happened, only this time did something punch from within, causing me to gasp in shock and stumble backwards against the cold, metallic dark grey wall... There's... Something inside her!
"Hahaha! Black Melody! Give birth to our child! Our child that we will nurture together once you come back as Frost!", White cried as I stood there in agonising shock, unable to believe what I was witnessing. Even if it was just a dream! A nightmare!... Argh! I'm gonna go crazy! This can't be happening!
Before I knew it... I watched her stomach burst open via a cold, blood soaked blade that emerged like a punji spike, grasped by the flailing tendrils of whatever creature was inside of her... A...AHHHHHH!
Black's POV
AHHHH! Ack! ARGH! My head! Dammit! Migraine attack!
"Great. She's awake", Star said from my left in a sarcastic tone of voice as I grit my teeth in pure agony, pulling myself up from what I lay on, opening my eyes to see myself in the girl's locker room... Huh?! "Black, do you have any idea how close you were to being spotted? Our whole class nearly saw you transform into a girl right after your heart suddenly went silent! Lucky for you, Jace and I covered you up!", She scolded. Fuck... It's not like it's my fau- SLAP! Right onto my right cheek...
I grit my teeth, feeling the excruciating pain overlap my throbbing headache as I quickly applied pressure onto my cherry red cheeks with both my hands. Argh! I'm not in the mood for this right now! Especially right after watching something BURST out of my fucking stomach!
"What was that for!", I cried, staring up at her with hatred and anger as she stared down at me with a serious look plastered across her face, telling me a story of some sort... Like she had a proper reason to why she slapped me. Hmm...
"That was for putting your very existence at peril! Do you even KNOW who you are?!", She yelled at me, pointing her right index finger straight at my nose, angering me even more.
"No cause no one ever gives me a hint! It's all riddles and riddles!", I cried, releasing my left hand as I slammed it against the wooden seat I rested on, implanting a powerful dent against it as I began to charge up my black energy out of anger... "What AM I?! A Colour?! legend?! FrostBitten?! Huh?! A Spirit?! WHAT?!"... I'm loosing my fucking mind! Argh! I need to calm down!... I need... I shook my head, taking in a slow, extremely deep breath in through my mouth before releasing it all out with all my stress and worries... Gah... I think I've altered a bit of my personality now... I've gotten more fierce than before... "Forget I said anything", I sighed, regaining my composure as I lifted up my left hand and used it to scratch my head, trying to sooth off my frustration. I hate it whenever they say 'do you know who you are'. It's like there's something about me that even I don't know of and is extremely important... Damn this... A normal life is too hard for the likes of me.
"I...It's ok Black. I'm sorry for hitting you as well. But you just need to realise about how important you really are. One false move and it's all over for everyone", She warned me... "Putting all of that to the side, we should head back to class. We're having a game of Hypoimagination. I'd really like to verse you"... I smiled at her cheerily and gave her an innocent nod.
"Sure. How much time do we have le-", Before I could even finish, the alarm went off from the far right of the large changing room, causing me to grunt and sigh after a deep breath of air... Why... The fuck does this ALWAYS happen!
"Huh?", Star gasped, blankly blinking as she pulled out her light pink iPhone from her miniskirt's pocket, holding it up close to her white, pretty face.
"The bell's an hour early?", She said in shock, twisting it around for me to be able to see the timer on her phone... 2:01pm... Again, the bell rang loud and clear, echoing like a lost scream throughout this bathroom-like locker room... Second bell? "Two bells? A fire evacuation?". Huh? I spun myself around, slamming both my feet onto the hard white tiled floor, making my hair and attire dance to the fluid movements that I made just before another alarm sounded, inflicting a
mass amount of pain into my ears... Argh!
I cringed to the sudden pain, clenching my fists in slight anger as the bell ceased it's function, leaving us to hang in silence for three seconds more until one final bell rung... Four bells? Damn! My ears are gonna break if one more rings!
"Four bells?!", Star whispered in horror, making me shoot a glance at her as I immediately got up to my feet proudly, staring into her wondrous silver eyes with my light red and light blue ones with seriousness. "We have to go! Now!", She cried, quickly turning around with no second to lose and began a full sprint towards the other side of the locker room. I blinked and too began to sprint, following her in suit perfectly as our hairs fluttered and danced behind us gracefully.
"Star! What does four bells mean?!", I called out, watching her take a sharp right at the very end of the row. Leaping forwards a little, I hurried my left foot into the tiles, making my rubbery soles grind against it which emitted a deadly scream of pain which surprisingly wielded no effect onto me whatsoever. Using this, I was able to make a precise sharp turn without losing any precious speed, allowing me to catch up to Star easily. Rows and rows of tiny window sills dashed by me like a blur from my left as columns of light grey metal lockers whizzed by me from the right as we approached the two light blue, wide opened doors that stood like loyal guards. The exit!
"It's an invasion bell! Someone's attacking the school!", She yelled in worry with a hint of dread hidden in the deepest part of her voice, causing me to grind my teeth painfully... An attack... Who'd do such a thing?! Dammit! I can't get fired up! I need to stay calm... Yes... Calm and collected!
"Where are we headed?!", I asked her, both blasting out of the room like cannon balls as we continued our dash through the main hallway of the school, straight towards the exit of the building... The courtyard?
"Outside! I'm as sure as hell that the others are out there!", She yelled.
"And if they're not?!", I asked, taking in a deep breath of air as I caught a glimpse of something outside. It looked similar to a golem of some sort...
"Then we'll have to do things ourselves!", She cried as we made out final push towards the entrance.
Upon reaching the front doors, a bright light blinded us momentarily as a high pitched screech that sounded like the burst of an energy weapon caught my attention, instantly flicking on my survival instincts. My heart skipped a beat, my blood ran as cool as ice the moment I leapt to the right, tackling Star down to the side with me as our eyesight recovered at a moment's notice. I collided with the ground heavily on my right shoulder point blank against the soft grass, scraping it very lightly. But even so, the outcome of it was painful and it crippled me majorly, making it hard for my to even get it to react. Dammit! Did I break my shoulder?! I grit my teeth in pain, pulling myself up off the ground with my left hand as Star did so as well, standing to my right proudly with shock and fear hidden deep within her blank gaze... I blinked blankly, gripping onto my right shoulder tightly with my left hand before looking up ahead to see the entire enters for pulverised into nothing but steamy hot black viscous goo that looked very similar to the same thing that the Grave Digger spits out... Damn... If I didn't recklessly jump to the side, then that would've been us!
"Star! Frost!", I heard someone yell in a feminine tone of voice from my far right, causing me to instantly spin around as Star stepped away from my sight, allowing me to see one hell of a scene... And by that, I mean literally. My eyes widened slightly as my heart began to thump like rushing drums, making me feel uneasy and paranoid to the given situation...
Before us, not twenty metres away, was a beast that resembled a giant that had light green skin covered with black, demonic armour of strange material that seemed to give off a rather intimidating presence. It wielded many spikes all over and two large ones on either shoulders as well as on the black half, bucket-like helm he wore. The beast had a male build and was about one and a half the size of me. Size didn't matter to me tho. But what did, was WHAT his left side was...
Connected to the upper left of his torso, was one HUGE energy cannon that resembled the top part of a tank, only coated in fresh black spry pain for a more frightening touch. Hot black smoke wheezed out of the ridiculously long barrel, staining the air with lethal toxins... And to the right of his torso, were two arms. The top one with a long, wired whip and the bottom with rattling grey chains of doom, giving me a clue to why he was here... A capture mission. But who is he looking for?
Behind him, was about half of the entire school, all tied up with chains from the knees, arms, hands and waist in order to keep them as secured as possible. The other half cowered inside of the main building, some even watching through the windows and recording with their phones... Dammit... How'd it come to this?!
I could barely see his eyes, but it didn't matter to me. All I could think of was how to defeat this thing, guessing that he caused all of this and even tied up half of the fucking school with those rough chains! I know for a fact that Jace could break free from those if he tried enough, let alone Chaos who can tear it apart like string!... Maybe it's something more stronger than mere iron and steel... But what? What other fucking metal could you use to make chains?!
"Who are you?! And what do you want?!", Star yelled out at the top of her lungs, holding her arm out in front of her as pink particles began to form right before squeezing in together to form a deadly pink, thin rapier in her palms. Amazing... Just like my Night's Melody! "Answer me or I'll have to force it out of you!"... I never knew she was the type to demand... Well... Actually, maybe she is...
The hideous man arched his back and entered a fit of undying laughter, echoing throughout the grassy, light green field that we stood on, causing many of the hostages to gasp in utter fear of him right before he lashed his whip into the very thin air, creating a sonic boom. He's underestimating Star. For his size, I'm putting money that he's not as hasty as her. She may surprise him... But then again... It's just a guess.
"He's underestimating you", I whispered in anger to Star, glancing over to her at my right with my light red and light blue eyes filled with seriousness and the ambition to get rid of that creature.
"Is he? My my... I'll have to surprise him then", Star chuckled evilly, gaining an overly confident look to her face which made me slightly regret what I said... She can't be too reckless less she wants to get killed on the spot. The man's laughter died out slowly, soon just chuckling before he took in a deep breath of fresh air and exhaled, pointing out both his right arms straight at Star like he was trying to prove something.
"Light Heart's here?! Haha! Now this makes it easier to flush out who I'm looking for!", He cried before suddenly, he fired a deadly fast beam of energy straight at her, causing me to jump to the left as she jumped to the right... The beam was literally so big, that it was almost as tall as I was and it even touched the ground! I stared down at the remains of the grassy ground where the beam was fired at, making me grit my teeth with anger and even more passion to take this guy out with one fatal swoop... It was black, burnt down to the earth and resembled a very shallow half pipe... But that's no match for my energy cannon! "Your speed is half of what I'm used to!", He screamed, forcing me to look back at him to see Star's rapier bounded by the man's whip as she tried to pry it out free... Dammit! It's my fault for telling her about what he was thinking! "I bet you thought I underestimated you"... HE FUCKING KNEW?!
"Damn you Frost! Just you wait until this is over! I'll put double on your punishment that I postponed for Thursday!", Star cried in anger before being jerked forwards, causing her to stumble before her sword was thrown off to the far sides almost effortlessly... I guess I'll have to move in and- "Don't Frost! Don't you DARE come and save me! Remember what I told you earlier?!", She screamed in worry before the man easily poured three good loops around her arms like she was nothing, causing me to grit my teeth twice as hard as a calming breeze bombarded me from the left, making my hair and attire dance to the right magically. What she told me earlier... Oh right... About me keeping a low profile. My existence is in peril, huh.
Star couldn't move an inch. One loop of he chains have already locked her knees in place, rendering her unable to move whatsoever...
"Now! Light Heart, because you're here, I suspect that Black Heart is here as well! Am I correct?!", He roared like thunder, causing Star to enter a state of shock as her eyes widened in fear, begging for her life. I... Must resist! I can't stand here and do nothing! If I even use my powers, then my cover will be blown! He's looking for me and I'm right in front of him!
"She... She's not here!", Star yelled an obvious lie out of desperation, fuelling my anger even more to the point where if I even saw a tear run down her eyes, I'd explode and show no mercy to that thing! I gotta keep my cool and stop being a hot head! Jeez!
"You smell of lie! You dare lie to me! The son of Quad?! You humanly scum should know your place and serve us Therian's!", He screeched and at once, pointed the barrel of his massive, long tank-like barrel straight at her, causing her to gasp in shock and fear as she thought that this may be her last moment to live. I've never seen her act like this before. Never. "My father is leader of an elite
group in our race! The Four!".
"I...I honestly... Don't-".
"Black Heart is not her anymore! She ran before you could come!", White yelled from the far back... Eh?
"Hmm. Is that so. Well then, I guess I'll make a scene and get her to come back!", He cried before suddenly, he pointed the barrel straight at ME this time, causing my eyes to widen as I braced myself for anything and everything... I guess I'll have to do things the hard way! "You! Girl! Come here and you will be spared! Take off your clothes!"... H...hehe... He's dead... He's fucking dead... Telling me, of all people, to strip naked... Ahahaha!
"Never! Especially not for the likes of YOU!", I cried out at the top of my lungs out of anger and hatred towards him, gritting my teeth as I placed my left foot forward and leaned slightly ahead, ready to charge straight at him head on without hesitance.
"How dare you! Don't speak like you're my precious Black Heart when she's distressed!", He screamed... What?!... Precious?! Just what the fuck am I to him?!... I'm getting pissed! Just like COAL! They're both piece of shits that need to DIE by my own hands and suffer in my realm of Insanity! "Let's have some fun with you! Dire! Come forth and unleash your powers upon thee!", He announced in an echoey tone of voice, causing me to take a step back as the earth shook underneath my feet, inflicting some shock and excitement into my very bloodstream.
"Frost! Run!", Star exclaimed and at once, the ground five metres in front of me sprouted upwards like a geyser, sending many particles of dirt into the air as a huge wolf-like beast emerged from the newly made hole. I took another step back, gritting my teeth and smiling lightly in amusement, flushing down all of my anger into excitement and enthusiasm of the battle. I'll take this thing out myself with my bare hands! "Idiot! You're too weak like that!", She cried in distress, not wanting me to throw my life on the line. Hehe. But isn't that what I always do? No matter what, I will do whatever I can to protect everyone here!
I stared into the giant wolf's eyes with fire burning in mine, watching it's amazingly delicate and beautiful dark blue fur flutter to the right as it's jaw hung open, revealing it's crystal white, jagged teeth that resembled a shark's mouth. It's red hot, slimy tongue drooled with icky saliva that yearned for my blood, increasing my will to succeed a tenfold. I won't lose! It growled at me, scraping it's right paw against the ground painfully which shook it slightly. Against something like this, I'll only have to worry about it's jaws and claws!
It charged up to me with lightning speed, letting out a blood curling road that forced me to jump to the right in order to dodge it's head-on attack. Damn! It's fast! But not faster than me! Haha!
I skidded against the grass on my feet back a good three metres, causing an explosion of green confetti to surround me as I watched the wolf charge up at me again, chilling my blood with pure excitement to the flow of the battle. Haha! I'm taking pleasure from this?! Amazing!
Crazily, I waited for it to reach the two metre mark. My back arched forwards. My jet black, long hair dropped down to the ground as I prepared myself for it's approach. No matter how much the ground shook of how much the others panicked for me, I did NOT falter one bit. Instead, I smiled like this was amusing... Up to this day I still have no idea why I smile during a battle.
NOW! With lightning fast movement, I lunged forwards like a thunderbolt straight towards it's right eye. As hard as I could, I stabbed my right arm into the soft, vulnerable flesh, ramming it all over the place to do as much as possible. Gallons of dark viscous blood poured and squirted all over me, painting me in the deepest colour of crimson which exited me even more as the horrifying cries of the beast echoed throughout the entire school eerily. Ahahaha! I love it so much! All this blood! It's so pleasurable... Ahhh! Suffer!
Reaching in a bit more, I eventually reached the red wires that connected the eye ball to the brain, making me smile as everyone gasped in surprise. A few others cheered me on loudly and proudly. Like a razor blade, I sliced it, causing a major outflow of blood to excrete from it's eyes, lodging my arm out by force before I landed hard on the ground, bending my knees to absorb most of the impact.
"Star! What do I do now?!", I exclaimed, watching the poor wolf collapse onto it's right side, showing no signs of life whatsoever. A brutal death. You picked a fight with me. Only one can come out alive. Now, as for him...
"You run while you still can!", She cried... Run?... I can't run while you and everyone else is in trouble. Especially White. I can't leave anyone behind!
"Don't joke with me Star! You know very well that I won't run away from this! Are you sure you even know me properly?!", I snapped back at her with a devilish smile of confidence, ready to take on this giant barehanded.
"Impossible! All it took was one strike to take down my Dire?! You can't be human! State your race!", The man demanded, lashing the air once with a sonic boom as I took a step forward, blankly blinking as blood dripped down my long, elegant hair and attire.
"One strike is enough to take anything down! Your wolf died by shock because of the pain it had to endure! I had to rip out the nerve that connected the eye to the brain to get it to shut up!", I yelled at him, making him grunt. "As for my race, I am a HUMAN!".
"Human, huh. I guess humans like you are rare themselves. I could just capture you right now, but I'm on a hunt for Black Heart. Do YOU happen to know where she is?", He asked me... I smiled, raising my right eyebrow in amusement before answering.
"She hunting you down. Matter of fact, she's watching you closely right now from the mountain", I lied, but kept it hidden. "Move to slowly and she'll just pull the trigger".
"Your name is?", He asked. Hehe! I though he'll never ask!
"Black Melody", I claimed without a second thought, recoiling and gagging to the air in my throat in pure utter shock to what I had just said... Fuck!
"Very well. I will remember that name and one day hunt you down to be the bride of the child me and Black Heart will make", He claimed proudly... Ack! That felt like a fucking punch to the chest! "My name is Quarter, the son of Quad! Burn the name into your brilliant mind dear girl! May we meet again! Next time, as friends!"... Impossible... I'll fucking kill HIM the next time we meet! "As for now..."... GAH! ARGH! W...What was that...
I dropped down to my knees as the could no longer hold me up, forcing me to grunt before I looked down at myself to see a syringe stuck deep inside of my abdomen, causing my eyes to widen in pure shock. I looked back up, no longer seeing the man... What the hell... Was that? I didn't even see it coming...
"Throw another one!", Star yelled... At once, another one was thrown right into my stomach... Fuck! I'm... Going numb and sleepy!... I...can't... RESIST!... Dammit...
White's POV
"Are you feeling well?", I asked Black as I washed her back with a hot, soapy sponge happily.
"Mhm. Much better with you here", She said, making me turn a slight red. I still can't get over our kiss last night! He was so good at it!... I wonder what it would feel to kiss her like this. Ah! I can't get ahead of my self! "I hope Star erased their memories". She sighed.
"Don't worry. I watched her do it", I said.
"Thanks... Say... What day is it tomorrow?", She asked out of the blue, making me stop scrubbing her back to her strange question... Eh? She doesn't know?!
"You don't know?".
"Nope. No one told me anything", She sighed sadly...
"It's Christmas tomorrow! The twenty fifth of February!", I announced with joy, wrapping my arms around her to share some of my love, pressing my breasts against her soft, smooth back.
"February?! Isn't Christmas in December?!", She exclaimed in pure shock.
"In the human world it is, but here it's in February", I assured her. "There's going to be snow tomorrow and after tomorrow! Let's go shopping and get everyone the greatest presents!", I said cheerfully with a Christmas spirit...
Santa's POV
Ho Ho Ho! Let's check my naughty and good list! Hmm... Haha! Looks like it'll be a good Christmas tomorrow!
"Rudolph! Get me my skeleton cage and my spider cage! Tomorrow's going to be a good day!", I stated as I looked down at my utility belt with a vicious smile plastered across my so called 'cherry' face. Ahahaha!
I'll be sure to give everyone the best of the best presents! Who wouldn't like Christmas tree balls filled with touch powder and far poison?! HO HO HO!
