Chapter 42 Shattered reunion
'Narisha, Jade?' the two girls turn around to see who called out to them. 'Sora, Kairi, I see that you two also get out alive from the dungeon.' Says Narisha with a smile, happy to see the two again. 'Yeah we had to get past a few killer trees but we made it to here.' Says Sora joking. 'Problem with trees?' Jade lifts up her eyebrow and looks at the two. 'Trees that hit back, yes. Oh and I got a little question, what happened did you burn down this house to escape you're treat?' asks Kairi. 'This was already like that.' Answers Narisha looking at the burned down building. Jade lifts up the doll that was lying there. 'I wonder what happened to the people who used to live here.' She sights. The three others stare at her, unknown what to say. Kairi suddenly looks up. 'Kairi what is wrong?' asks Sora. 'Do you hear that to?' asks Kairi. The other three listen to. 'Voices!' says Sora. 'Narisha Jade hide!' 'Why?' asks both wondering. 'On our way here we saw a group of soldiers, they where attacking some orphans who live out on the street, and that just for fun!' answers Kairi full of cruel of the soldiers. 'lets hide in the ruins.' Suggest Narisha. The others nod and quickly into the ruin. Carefully they move quickly up the fall down stairs of the ruin and take place on what once was the second floor. From the point where they are now they have a lookout to where they stood moments ago.
'Do you two really feel better?' asks The leader of the rebels, Michel, the two boys, Riku and Shun, who are walking with him. 'Headache and broken pride but without that I am fine answers Shun. 'Don't mind him Michel, Our headache passes and his broken pride will be whole sooner or later.' Says Riku. 'Broken pride is better than be imprisoned by Xadinda, boys, believe me, I know.' Says Michel.
'That broken pride, is that my fault?' whispers Mia asking Azer. 'Probably, you helped me to use the knock-out spell on shun by binding his feet.' Whispers Azer his answer. 'Do you try to make me feel a lot more awful?' says Mia dropping her shoulders. Azer looks at her confused unknowing how he can make her feel better.
Shun looks back at the two teenagers behind them. Michel looks back and sees them to. 'My daughter and Azer grow up together, only..' 'She grow up as just you're daughter and he was treaded as a prince.' 'Crown prince to be exactly.' Shun sights and looks at the burned building they are heading towards. 'So that is the mansion? Why didn't they actually live in a castle.' 'Do you lost you're mind? A castle on a floating island doesn't support the weight. And uh, yes, that is the mansion.' 'Seems logic.' Riku who has fallen a bit behind to look at something rushes closer to them. 'Why don't they have build castle for they're king?' asks Riku to Shun. 'Castles are to heavy for floating islands.' That's why.' They have come to a clear area of the mansion. 'This is where once the entrance was into the mansion.' Says Michel. 'Riku!' screams a familiar voice suddenly out of nowhere. 'Sora?' Says Riku. 'Sora!' The group looks around to find Sora. Shun looks up in the ruins to see Sora, Kairi, Narisha and Jade coming out of they're hiding. Sora jumps down from the second floor to great his childhood friend while the girls take the same path they went up. 'When did you four get here?' asks Riku. 'Kairi and I just arrived here and found Narisha and Jade who just came out of the dungeon, how about you two?' 'We where attacked by the Rebels. But they realized we where not one of Xadinda her spiese and are now with them here looking at where once they where ruled by they're king.' 'Here lived once they're king!' Sora turns around to look at the ruin. 'It is burned down but once it was a beautiful place.' Says Michel looking at the ruin dreaming. 'Uhm Riku who are you're new friends?' asks Kairi. 'I am Michel, the leader of the rebellions.' Introduces Michel himself. 'The girl over there is my daughter Mia.' 'I am Azer' introduces the boy himself. They talk about what has happened to them. Kairi and Sora tell about the trees, Narisha and Jade tell about they're fight with the lost one Vanessa. Riku and Shun tell about the fight with the rebels and finally waking up in they're camp. 'Hey shall I say something crazy?' everyone looks at jade. 'Shall we wait for Dan to appear?' Jade loughs at her own joke. 'Did someone, au, say my name?' At once the group turns to the voice. Dan Slowly walks into they're direction. 'Dan!' his friends say almost at once. They run towards him. 'Dan you're hurt!' screams Narisha as she notice the blood flowing from underneath his hands. She rushes to him and presses one of his wounds close while she lets him rest on the ground. 'Michel we have to take him back to the camp so we can treat his wounds.' Says shun. Michel nods and turns to his daughter. 'Mia gather the forces we need cover getting him back, and warn the healers!' He walks towards Narisha and Dan and picks him up. 'Lets hurry up! I feel his life slipping away.' He fast Runs down the path he entered a while ago to get to the burned down mansion. On his heels followed by Shun and Azer, Jade looks at Narisha who is staring at her hands red of the blood, a drip of blood runs down into her sleeve. Jade grabs her friends arm and pulls her to follow the rest.
The twilight has token a few hours but the sun has finally went down. The group has taken place around a campfire with in their hands their dinner, what is mostly untouched. Mia stares worried at the six wielders worried. 'Is there something wrong Mia?' Riku asks who saw her looking at them. 'No its just, I am worried about you and your friend.' Answers Mia. 'Don't worry about Dan, he is to stubborn to die.' Says Shun. 'Then where are you worried about?' asks Narisha who is worried about Dan. 'Aura, she is in Xadinda her hands for already a long time who knows what has happened to her.' Says shun, finally showing his worries in the open. Azer turns his head to the wagon behind them. Michel steps outside the wagon and sits down by them next to the campfire. ´He will live and he has eaten his plane empty.´ everyone sights relieved. About Dan they don't have to be worried about ´He said he wanted to speak with you six. Since he is recovering I want you all to go inside, and please keep him laying in bed. He needs the rest.´ The six rise up and enter one by one the wagon trough the small door. ´Hey you guys.´ Dan smiles as he sees his friends. ´What happened Dan?' Asks Narisha worried. 'When I was alone in the dungeon, I heard a scream. When I got there I found the person who screamed it was Aura.' Their eyes widened up. 'Aura was there with you?' asks Kairi not actually believing him. 'Yes we fought our way out and then left to find and save the bakugan and indeed we found them. But then.' Dan gets interrupted in the middle of his line. 'Before they could save us Dan was surrounded by a Group of soldiers. Or better said a whole army.' The six look back to see the bakugan entering the room trough a window. 'You found us.' Says Dan happy. 'It was hard to shake them off until we finally turned into sphere form.' Says Skyress relieved. 'It only took us a while to find someone we knew.' Says Ignis who just escaped the tight grip of her partner Jade. Who was hugging her. Dan sights and continues the story. 'So I was standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by the army of soldiers so i had no where to go. High above me stood Aura who had climbed up somewhere as soon we came inside. Than she ordered the soldiers to kill me.' 'She ordered them to kill you?' Repeats Sora what Dan said. 'Yes.' 'It doesn't sound like the Aura we came to know.' Says Narisha. 'But maybe it was all acting.' It wasn't acted.' Says Shun angry. 'I met Aura before, Before I came by Diz. She felt always so light. She acted like she didn't knew about darkness, however she was trained to fight it even when Kairi wasn't on the Island yet.' 'Yes riku I remember back the Aura was still higher the you, now you have grown a lot and passed her on so many points.' Says Arma. 'That may be, why isn't she a master yet.' A question that has been burning on his lips he now finally dares to asks. 'Her fear in fire is strong, and doesn't let her pass the exam. Fear is great and shows a person where the edge is. But Aura her fear is a trauma she has to overcome to become a Keyblade master.' Answers Arma the question. 'Are you telling me that that is her mark of mastery exam?' says sora unbelievable. Arma nods. 'Another test she will pas with flying colors but fire has been a week point for her for a long time. A child hood drama she has to come surpass.' The door opens. 'Xadinda is making her move.' says Michel. 'What are we going to now?'
'The Rebels are about to make another move.' says Xadinda looking down at the chessboard in front of her. Xarx comes slowly closer. 'Miss Xadinda according to my Intel they have joined forces with the keyblade wielders and a friend of them. What are you going to do now?' 'We sent out secret weapon after them and then we sent them to the Mythical Arcane. 'What do you think Aura?' Xadinda places her hand against Aura her trout. 'Shall I send you with them?' 'They will not fall for you're tricks a second time.' says Aura with small air. 'We. Shall. See.' Xadinda laughs.
Sora, Riku and Shun stare across the ocean of where the camp had sight whole night they, a few rebels and the girls had been planning an attack on Xadinda. The day they had rested while the Rebels had been gathering their stuff for the attack. Dan had token the time to recover. His wound has been cleaned a few times and the potions and the healing spells that Sora and Kairi used have helped him on his feet again. 'I have to believe Arma.' Says Shun. After speaking with Dan the Subject Aura has been quiet, and now the three boys were together they decided to talk about it again. 'Why?' asks Sora. 'We have been once betrayed by someone who is now our friend, Ren, Marucho, one of Dan and mine oldest friends, believed in Ren and that he would return, he was right and I doubted him, I don't make that mistake for the second time.' Tells Shun. Dan who was looking for the three hears Shun his story. 'Are you sure that's all?' he asks. The three look at Dan. 'Yes?' says Shun surprised. 'Shun I may not have always looked like it, but I have always trusted you're judgment, but now I think you are blinded.' 'Blinded?' Shun raises his eyebrow. Sora and Riku look at each other. 'I think he means to say that you are in love with Aura.' Says Sora. 'Then lets make a deal Dan.' 'What kind of a deal Shun?' 'Until we meet her and we have all seen her we judge what is the truth.' 'Of she betrayed us or she is still with us.' 'Yes maybe the Aura you saw was a illusion.' 'That wouldn't be the first time someone get tricked by an illusion.' 'Here you all are?' Kairi smiles. 'Everyone else is ready.' 'Deal?' asks Shun. 'Deal.' Nods Dan.
