Corruption Battle Chapter Forty Six: Two Gems

Frost's POV
In the midst of the black, winter cold night, I stood in the middle of a battle worn grey street where two daring figures stood before me not twenty metres away with their glowing blades drawn at me. In my right hand, was my Night's Melody as black and red as ever. In my left, was a glowing black ball with a small light purplish tint emitting from the centre, pulsating with destructive black energy so powerful that not even corruption could withstand it for even a split second. Corruption is basically a shell over the real thing, meaning that if I kill it, it will free the individual. So I have to aim to slaughter. But these two are emitting some sort of aura that's making me hesitate a little. I best be on my guard if I want to win and safely return back to the hideout!

"Not the best place to play but oh well. At least we get to settle this once and for all!", Diamond called out as she swung her massive blade overhead with her lone right hand and held it straight at me as a bright purple light emitted from the tip of her razor sharp claymore.

"This will be your graveyard! Prepare yourself for the worst!", Sapphire claimed and did the same with her blade, only did she do it with both her hands as the fierce, flickering purple flames grew more intense and powerful. "And your sister will be next!". Not on my watch! Even if I die, I'll be able to have a second go at them. When I'm a male, my swordsmanship is on an unmatched level and my magic is focused on brute melee. But as a girl, my speed, agility, awareness and magic are greatly boosted. Tho it's not supposed to be for melee as that form.

"Don't talk like you know the results! You made that mistake when we fought back at Hythin!", I exclaimed with a smile across my face, staring heavily at them with my piercing glowing light red and light blue eyes as they laughed hysterically at me, taking what I said as nonsense. Idiots. They ceased simultaneously, taking a quick breath before they readied themselves for an attack.

"We will defeat Frost Richtofen!", Diamond cried and at once, just as I expected, she rushed at me with lightning speed, making the ground vibrate with every powerfully loud stomp she made as she reeled her claymore to her far right with both hands gripped onto the light purple, leathery handle. Show time! Haha!

I stood my ground, watching her charge up to me with a devilish smile plastered across her face as the moon shone down sat us with it's demonic purplish tint. Diamond is a master when it comes to attacking, however, her defence is terrible. When she's open, I'll attack. The same goes for Sapphire. AND Ruby. I guess triplets are alike.

She jumped a good metre into the air, gliding straight at me as her white, amazing hair fluttered behind her magically. I readied myself for her attack, placing my right foot behind me for support as I quickly raised my blade in front of my face just as she swung her sword straight at me. It connected greatly, emitting a loud gunshot-like bang with a mass amount of yellow and red sparks as our blades grinded against one another as she made a full clockwise spin and struck again, landing back onto the hard, battle scared earth in one piece. Dammit! I wasn't lying when I said she was good at attacking!

I grit my teeth, taking a step back as she swung at me again, forcing me to block it with all costs ruthlessly with my lone right hand as I heard footsteps approaching me quickly from behind, causing my eyes to widen. Cheap bastards!

Immediately after pushing Diamond back harshly with my blade, I spun around and took a step to the right instinctively to JUST watch Sapphire's flaming blade miss my entire body by a mere inch to the left, leaving me utterly shocked... H...Holy... That was nearly game over right there! I need to pay more... ATTENTION!

I swung my blade as hard as I could horizontally at Sapphire, causing her eyes to widen in fear right before Diamond lunged her blade in front of her to save her, emitting one hell of an ultimate clink which hurt my ears extraordinarily painfully, making me take a good three steps back, still holding the clash. Ouch! Damn this! My heart ached and my right arm felt like it was going to fall off to the block she made, but I kept on pressing on against her blade, making it crack a little which made her gasp in pure fright and shock... It's breakable?! Then... I've got it!

I slid my blade away, causing a mass amount of fireworks to explode and mess with our eyesights as their beautiful light red eyes shone like rubies, making me smile right as I skidded back a good two metres and watched them both charge at me with both their blades. Haha! Come to me!

Sapphire attacked me first with a vertical slice of her blitzing blade which I dodged with a good side step to the left, hearing it smash itself hard into the earth with one hell of a thud that shook the ground vividly for a brief second. Next up was Diamond who attempted the same attack, making me smile to how thoughtless she was and as hard as I could, I spun my blade around my arm and held it reverse as I held it up close to my face and pushed up to clash with her blade, channelling a lethal amount of my black energy to this attack. My heart wanted to burst out of my rib cage because of the brute force of this clash, my mind blanked out here and there and my right arm wanted to just fall off but I didn't falter. I am NOT going to lose against these two! Argh!

"N...No! D...Don't do it! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!", Diamond cried as her blade began to crack even more as my sword sunk half way into her glowing claymore, causing tears to trickle down her face as slowly and steadily, the colour fades as well as the purplish tint on her ears, hands and winter white, fluffy tail... "I won't be a bad girl anymore!"... She's not out of corruption just yet! Not until I destroy her blade and slay her right here right now!

"Diamond!", Sapphire cried at the last moment as she raised her claymore and shoulder barged her sister away to the left, taking her position just as Diamond's blade shattered into two separate shards of steel and iron... They floated memorably in front of my eyes as I stared up at Sapphire who send down her blade straight onto mine. I was prepared for it. Tears flung from her cheeks, making my eyes widen as I managed to grasp a small glimpse of the real her... I grit my teeth, ready to bare the force of her blade against mine as it seemed to make contact with it... There was no weight... Nor no mass transferred onto my blade, making me gasp as I watched her flaming light purple blade phase straight through mine... N...no... "Don't make my sister cry!"... That was the REAL Sapphire who yelled that... "Ahhhh! H...Help me... FROST!"...

The blade sliced through my right shoulder cleanly, causing my eyes to widen and tears to form at the base of my eyes due to the pure amount of shock and fear eating at my mind... I grit my teeth, screaming through my clenched teeth as I backed away, hearing my arm and blade collapse underneath me whilst Sapphire laughed at me... I dropped down to my knees in pain, staring down pitifully at my limp arm with my narrowed light red and light blue eyes that shown nothing but defeat... The pain was more than just intense... It was hell. Blood wound not stop pouring out of my shoulder where a bone stuck out as sharp as a dagger, bleeding out a more redder blood than my normal one... Slowly, I looked up to my executioner. Sapphire. She looked down at me with a devilish smile plastered across her damp white face that shone in the moonlight as Diamond weeped from my far left... I can't lose like this... I have people to save! If I lose, then Lizzo and everyone will be in trouble!

"Frost! Save her! Save my sister! You freed me! Save her too please! I beg you!", Diamond cried aloud, echoing throughout the entire quiet street, making Sapphire smile more demoniacally as she raised both her arms high a over her head with her blade...

It burnt twice as fierce, flickering it's flames like wings as the light pure flames grew five times larger and longer, emitting a dangerous heat that burnt my skin and boiled my blood like a kettle... I won't lose... I won't... I WON'T!

"Goodbye, Frost Richtofen! Have a safe trip to hell! AHAHAHA!", she laughed, making me smile devilishly as I felt a tremendous amount of courage and determination inject me and is throughout my weak bloodstream... Something strange...

Right when her blade flailed down straight for my head, I used my tail to block it with a it's might. For the first time, I felt pain in my tail, causing me to cringe as I mustered up all of my strength and pulled myself up, charging up my left arm with all the black magic I had for this ultimate attack. I will show her no mercy!

"SAPPHIRE!", I screamed out at the top of my lungs, making her gasp in fright to my might and resistance to her unbelievably powerful attack. The ball that I held in my left arm grew larger and larger until it completely consumed my entire hand... "I WANT YOU TO COME BACK! I WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!", I claimed as loud as I could while Diamond cried from the sidelines. Strong winds began to invade the battlefield, kicking up dust into our eyes but I kept mine opened despite the pain. I can't lose!

"SHUT UP AND DIE!", She screamed out as loud as she could as she applied more pressure onto her blade, cutting deeply into my tail as I cringed and nearly backed down onto my knees due to how weak I was now feeling... I need... To... WIN!

"I WON'T!", I cried and at once, I pushed up to her, lunging my left arm straight at her with the ball of pure darkness which plunged straight into the centre of her chest. With one final push, her blade completely cut off my tail, making me cry out tears as I activated the ball's effect.

The polar opposite of White's explosion! "IMPLOSION!", I yelled out the name and at once, the ball began to rotate as it attached itself to her, allowing me to retreat a good seven steps back to watch her scramble her head around in fear to what was going to happen to her...

But before it could implode on her, she immediately sunk her flaming blade inside of the ball with all her might, causing my eyes to widen as the ball glowed a bright yellow before expanding an inch then shrinking into nothingness a split second matter with a loud bang which literally kicked up dust from the ground and concussioned me, blurring my vision very briefly... Sapphire giggled, then laughed hysterically at me whilst clutching her stomach tightly with her arms... She... She dispelled it! With her blade! No... I'm already at my limit! I... I can't fight her... I'm so weak already...

"DID YOU THINK THAT I WAS CORNERED?! THINK AGAIN!", She laughed her ass off and pulled out her light purple bow from out of the thin air and held it in a readied position with a drawn arrow, aiming it directly at me which caused my eyes to widen... Dammit... I have to withdraw from this form and fight her as Black Melody! I have to! "NOW, DIE!", She cried... In a heart beat, I did what I had to do and swapped into my female form, summoning my Night's Melody into my arm in it's Cannon form which looked like a futuristic energy rocket launcher, exhibiting many metallic light blue tiles on the front and back whereas the handle was a jet black. Half of it rested on my right shoulder, weighing as light as a feather as I watched her arrow whiz straight up to me with light speed. Easily, I stepped to the right, avoiding it by a mere millimetre.

"Oh? You became a girl? Haha! What makes you think that you'll be more stronger?! You can't beat me!", She cried, making me grunt in anger as she pushed me to my breaking point. Diamond continued to weep, fuelling me with an unlimited amount of energy as I aimed my cannon right at her and pulled down hard on the loose carbon fibre, jet black trigger with my right index finger. At once, a giant ball of light blue energy was fired.

Immediately, she fired an arrow straight at it and surprisingly, she managed to destroy it mid flight, causing it to explode and make a large crater in between us. We both stood on the edge of it, staring at one another with daring, forbidding eyes as mine glowed furiously... I won't get anywhere with just a small attack like this. I need to barrage her... Then go for the kill. Let's see how this goes!

"MINIGUN!", I cried, making my Night's Melody transform into my desires. It shape shifted, turning metallic parts and splitting one from another to from what I desired. Only did it become two miniguns. They reached up to my elbow, but didn't obstruct the movement and were as light as a feather, making them a breeze to move around with. However, on each of the guns, were four rotating barrels which were connected to another rotating barrel for double the trouble and each barrel had fifteen bullet slots. Not what I intended but it's worth it!

Sapphire gulped, taking a good seven steps back in fear as she trembled to the look of my death machines, unable to come up with a plan as I smiled and pulled both the triggers with my index fingers, hearing them roar as they slowly spun and progressively got faster and faster and louder and louder until finally, the bullets spreader out like a hose, bombarding her like a hailstorm of light blue lights which exploded upon impact at whatever they touched. Cars, the ground, buildings ruptured heavily as I held down the trigger and continued my attack, hearing her scream in agony, making me gasp a little in regret... I hate hearing those screams... But it's not over yet!

Black smoke covered most of the street as debris and cars exploded into smithereens to my earth shattering attack... After a good five seconds, I ceased the fire and rushed straight into the black haze, turning my miniguns into my traditional blade which I swing horizontally to the left to remove the haze and reveal my damage... Woah! I didn't expect it to do THIS much!... Buildings to the left and right had half of their structure destroyed, exhibiting their insides frankly as many craters dotted the entire street vividly like holes punched into a fine sheet of black paper... And in the middle of it all, was Sapphire... She lay on the ground a good fifteen metres away from me, unconscious and looking like the real her, making me smile and sigh in relief that it was over... Phew! It's finally over! They're both down... And now... There's a lot more to go...

I wonder if she's really ok. Oh gosh! If I killed her by accident right after she changed back then I'm going to flip it! Damn me for being so trigger happy! Wait! I can see her breathing from here!... Why the fuck am I stressing out for?!... Hopefully Lizzo didn't see me fight them... It'd be a real mess. Her twin sibling can use magic. Haha... I'm so dead...

I let out a warm sigh and slowly walked up to her, letting my Night's Melody disappear without a trace as the sun slowly began to rise from far behind, making me smile softly and looking like my 'cheery' self. Diamond had stopped crying and too, walked up to Sapphire at a faster pace than me, making it up to her just a second before I did. She dropped to her knees and dug her face into her sister's stomach, crying softly as I stood to the right of her with tears ready to fall down my cherry red cheeks.

"Thank you so much Black. You saved us both. We never wanted to hurt anyone. We just wanted to see you again but it twisted us and made us hurt you... I'm sorry", Diamond sobbed softly as I took in a deep breath and warmly, slowly dropping down to my knees. She's so cute when she's crying.

When she says 'hurt' it doesn't just mean a bruise... I had my entire right arm cut off and my tail. I wonder how long it'll take for those to heal naturally. I guess I'll have to stay in this form for a while... A REALLY long while.
