Hello everyone! I got the next chapter out quickly, so I hope you enjoy.
It continues right after the previous chapter.
Special thanks to The Curse of Fates for your OC! I hope I captured her alright!
Dean and Ambriel walked up to the police tape around a residential house in a suburban neighborhood.
"You look good in a suit." Ambriel remarked, looking up and down at Dean.
Dean smiled to himself. "Thanks."
A small pause ensued.
"You're supposed to compliment me now." Ambriel spoke up.
Dean let out a short chuckle. He took a long look at Ambriel. "I like your hair like that." Dean managed to say something.
Ambriel blushed slightly. "Thank you, Dean."
A police officer stopped the two and waited for ID's.
Ambriel pulled her badge without breaking eye contact with the officer. Dean looked down at his jacket and felt around for the inside pocket. He pulled out his badge with a slight struggle, since an edge got caught on a loose thread. The officer gave Dean a weird look as he let them through.
"He's new." Ambriel gave an assuring smile.
The officer chuckled in response.
The two walked towards the house as Dean gave Ambriel a hard stare. Ambriel smiled and shrugged.
Dean rolled his eyes and let out a small smile, knowing he could never be mad at Ambriel.
The two fake agents walked into the new, dark blue modern-esque house, complete with red rose bushes by the front door. In the living room, there was a forensic scientist taking photos of the body on the floor.
"Alright, what do we got?" Dean asked, looking at the forensic scientist.
He looked over a Dean, then back at the woman on the floor. "Julia Williams, 48 years old. There are some defensive wounds on her hands. She sustained blunt force trauma to the head when she hit the wall." The man paused and pointed to a family portrait that was hanging on the wall. The glass was shattered and there were a few drops of blood.
The man continued. "Then she was thrown to the ground. The attacker bit her neck and basically drained almost all of her blood." He pointed to the window. "Attacker jumped out and that was it." He finished.
"Thanks." Dean nodded his head, walking over to the body. He pulled the sheet back and saw what he needed to see.
Ambriel walked into the kitchen where there was a teenage girl sitting at the table. She was holding a tissue and mascara was smudged under her eyes.
Ambriel walked up to a police officer who was monitoring the young girl. "Who is she?" She asked.
"Marina Williams. The victim's daughter." The officer replied.
"Where's the father?" Ambriel asked.
"Died overseas two years ago." The officer explained.
Ambriel thanked him and walked over to Marina, sitting down in the chair closest to her. "Hey, Marina?" Ambriel paused as Marina looked over at her. "I'm Agent Carson, with the FBI. Can I ask you a few questions?" Ambriel asked, keeping her voice low and gentle.
Marina nodded silently.
"How much of that did you see?" Ambriel asked.
Marina took a shaky breath. "I came home after a late night at the library. I open the door, and there's someone standing over my mother's body on the ground, biting her neck." Marina wiped a tear away. "I screamed and the guy jumped out the window."
"Did you see his face?" Ambriel asked.
Marina shook her head, hands shaking.
"You'll be okay, trust me."
"Thank you." Marina weakly smiled.
Ambriel smiled back, slowly stood, and left.
She walked back outside and found Dean waiting by the Impala.
"So…?" Dean asked, reaching to open the driver's door.
"The daughter didn't see anything." Ambriel sighed, opening the passenger side door.
"It was definitely a vampire, though." Dean confirmed the guess as he started the car.
"Let's see what Celeste and Sam got." Ambriel pulled out her phone.
Dean made an approving frowny face and rolled out.
oOoOoOo
Back at the motel room, Ambriel, Celeste, Sam and Dean all held a conference.
"What did you find?" Dean asked.
"Vampires for certain." Sam held out some medical files.
Dean took the files as Celeste started talking.
"Most of their blood was gone. Vamps probably drained them for extra blood to hold on to." Celeste explained.
"So who might be the next victim?" Ambriel asked.
"No idea." Sam sighed. "These three were all random. It's nearly impossible to tell who's next."
"Can we track them to their nest?" Dean asked, looking up at Celeste, and then glancing to Ambriel.
"It's possible." Celeste nodded. "Their either at the outskirts of town, or hiding in abandoned buildings or houses."
"Let me see a city map." Ambriel held out a hand.
Dean rifled through some papers and found a pamphlet from the motel desk with a city map on the back. He handed it to Ambriel.
Ambriel took the map and a sharpie and circled the houses of the victims. The pattern seemed random.
Celeste tilted her head, trying to view the map from another angle. She walked up to Ambriel and pushed on her shoulder, trying to get her to move. Ambriel rolled her eyes and scooched over a bit. Celeste sat down on the open half of Ambriel's chair and took the sharpie out of Ambriel's hand.
Celeste circled two hospitals and a blood donation bank. The pattern seemed more clear. The locations appeared in a circle.
"There." Celeste slammed a finger down at the center of the circle. "That's their nest." She smiled with pride.
Dean looked down at the map, lifting a hand. "You're telling me that their nest… is in the middle of all these victims and hospitals?"
"All the blood at the hospitals and the donation bank," Sam chimed in, "it's easy pickings."
Dean sighed. "Alright. Let's get ready."
oOoOoOoOo
It was near nightfall when the four were driving to the building in the middle of the circle. It turned out to be an old brick factory with busted glass windows.
"Here we go." Dean turned the Impala off.
Sam went to the trunk and pulled out blades and syringes for him and Dean. Celeste and Ambriel pulled out their angel blades.
All four walked into the abandoned factory, only to find about 15 vampires milling about.
Every head turned to face the four intruders.
"Oh shit." Celeste muttered.
Hell broke loose.
Sam and Dean were at the front, slicing through several vampires. Celeste and Ambriel skillfully used their angel blades to get any vampires coming from behind.
Suddenly, several stronger vampires tackled Sam and Dean.
"Celeste, watch my back." Ambriel called out, rushing towards Sam and Dean.
"On it." Celeste replied, getting another vampire.
Ambriel beheaded one that was on top of Dean. Dean struggled with the other vampire on top of him while Sam found his way to his feet and started fighting with one.
Then, a vampire threw Ambriel up against a wall, knocking her blade to the ground.
"Ambriel!" Celeste called out, worried. But, she was already preoccupied with a vampire of her own.
Sam and Dean managed to kill the two vampires that were on them. Sam went to help Celeste and Dean grabbed the shoulders of the vampire on top of Ambriel.
The vampire punched Dean in the face.
Ambriel grabbed her blade.
Celeste killed the vampire that was attacking her with the aid of Sam.
The vampire that was on Ambriel was quickly beheaded.
But not by Ambriel.
Or Dean.
Or Celeste.
Or Sam.
All four stared at the petite young woman in the middle of them, holding a gold katana blade, dripping with blood. The woman's grip on the black handle tightened.
She had dark red hair and light green eyes. Her purple converses matched her purple top. She had skinny jeans and a gray jacket on.
"Who the hell are you?" Dean asked, pulling out a gun from the back of his pants.
Sam stared at Dean for getting so violent so suddenly.
The woman held up her hand defensively. "You're welcome, by the way." She sheathed her blade.
"Thanks." Ambriel spoke up. "Nice blade by the way."
The woman slightly nodded. "Thank you."
"I said," Dean started to repeat himself, "who are you?"
"Dean!" Sam hissed quietly.
"My name is Elissa Lee-Ann Samuels." The woman responded.
"Hi, Elissa." Sam was the first to respond. "I'm Sam Winchester." He introduced himself. "This is my brother, Dean." He gestured to Dean, who finally lowered his gun.
Elissa nodded in their direction.
Ambriel and Celeste slowly circled around and stood next Sam and Dean.
"I'm Ambriel," Ambriel introduced, "and that's Celeste." She poked her in the side.
"We're angels by the way." Celeste quickly added.
Elissa narrowed her eyes, sticking her chin out slightly. "Angels? Are you kidding me?"
"Hey, you like soda, right?" Ambriel asked, putting her angel blade away. "Coke?"
"Yeah." Elissa chuckled slightly. "How'd you know that?" She smiled a little.
"Give me a second." Ambriel held a finger up and disappeared.
"What the...," Elissa trailed off. "Where did she go?"
Dean smirked. "Give her a second." He mocked.
Ambriel reappeared a moment later. "Can or bottle?" Ambriel held up a can and a glass bottle of Coca-Cola.
Elissa smiled. "Can." She replied.
Ambriel gave the can to Elissa and then let the bottle disappear.
Elissa popped the top on the can and took a large sip.
"How did you get on this case?" Sam asked as the five walked outside.
"I was passing through town when the second victim was attacked." Elissa replied.
Dean started the Impala as the three women sat in the back seat. Sam loaded the bloody weapons into the trunk and got into the passenger seat.
"Are you alone?" Celeste asked.
"Yeah." Elissa replied, sipping some more soda.
"Can I ask why?" Ambriel chimed in.
Elissa nodded, paused, and then spoke. "I was orphaned before I was one. I ran away from the girls orphanage I was at when I was 14."
"How old are you now?" Dean asked from the front seat.
"16." Elissa didn't miss a beat. She continued on. "One of the girls from the orphanage was kidnapped and her body was found the next day on the front step. Her heart was ripped out. The first thing I did when I ran away was kill the werewolf. Shot it in the heart." She finished.
"Where'd you get the blade?" Celeste asked.
"I killed a ghost in a house that belonged to a man who collected Japanese paraphernalia. I took this from one of the displays." Elissa held up the blade, admiring it.
"Alright." Dean spoke up after a moment. "I'm dropping you off at the bus station. You're getting the hell out of dodge." He didn't leave much room for argument.
"But-" Elissa started.
"No buts." Dean shot back, staring at Elissa through the rearview.
"But don't you want to go after the other nest?" Elissa smirked slightly, eyebrow raised.
"What another nest?" Sam asked, whipping his head around.
Elissa crossed her arms, leaning back into the car seat.
Sam looked at Dean. Dean looked at Sam.
Dean sighed. "Fine. Back to the motel room."
Elissa hid the smug grin on her face.
Well, there it is! I hope you enjoyed it.
