Sebastian wove effortlessly through the mass of people blocking the entrance. He appeared quite calm and collected but inside, Claude knew he was fuming. He watched as the tall man disappeared into the sea of flesh. He stopped for a moment and gently grabbed Alois's slender shoulders.

"Is there anyone you can call to come and pick you up?" He asked in a smooth but serious voice.

"Why? What's going on? What did Sebastian mean? What happened to Ciel?" Alois blurted out, shaking in place and staring wide eyed up at Claude. The man shook his head and soothingly placed a hand against the boy's smooth cheek, caressing it.

"Listen to me, everything is going to be alright. We're going to find Ciel and we're all going to go back to the house. Come here." Claude opened his arms up for the boy. Alois buried his face into the man's shirt, sobbing quietly. When the man looked back up, Sebastian was nowhere to be seen.

'Shit.' Claude bit his lip and rubbed Alois's back.

"Come on, we need to go." Alois stared up at Claude and nodded, following the tall man weaving expertly through the still packed hallway.

Once they were able to find the exit, the two men bolted out of the door and Alois had a moment to catch his breath. The air flooded his lungs and the chilliness stung for a brief moment. He watched as Claude approached Sebastian, rustling around in the back seat of his car furiously.

"Sebastian, I-" Claude was silenced quickly with a forceful right hook to his jaw. He stumbled backwards for a moment and stared at his attacker. He could see it in his eyes. Sebastian was turning into something he had never seen before. Never once throughout either of their careers had Claude ever witnessed Sebastian fall into such a panicked state.

"This is your fault. I never should have trusted you, not even for one second." Sebastian snapped, his eyes burning with hatred.

"Sebastian! What the hell was that for?" Alois yelled, running up to them and examining Claude's jaw.

"I swear on my life, I had nothing to do with this."

"Right. You show up, acting like you want to make a difference by being a decent fucking human being for once in your life. Then your gal Carmen shows up and sure enough my boyfriend disappears. Like this is all just a big fucking coincidence." Sebastian spat as he unzipped a black bag and pulled out a small black case.

"What the hell is going on you two?" Alois snapped, becoming confused and panicked by all of the nonsense. Claude opened his mouth to calm Alois down but Sebastian was quicker.

"Go ahead. Tell him. What we are, what's going on, tell him everything."

"Sebastian, you're panicking, you need to calm dow-"

"Calm down?" Sebastian snapped, holding a black matte colored gun up, pointing it directly at Claude's forehead. He gritted his teeth, and shook his head in disbelief.

"You, don't get to tell me what to do. I'm done listening to you." Sebastian roared. His eyes glanced to the side to meet Alois's. His pristine, aqua orbs were filled to the brim with tears. Sebastian could see his lower lip quivering slightly and his small chest rising up in down in an uneven, nervous rhythm. He sighed internally and lowered his gun to his side, slipping it into his waistline for the moment.

Without another word, Sebastian snatched up his bag and began walking off into the darkness of the streets. His strides were long and swift, almost as if he were simply gliding along the pavement.

"Sebastian!" Alois shouted in distress and confusion.

The man stopped momentarily, his body casting a long, dark shadowy figure along the road underneath a street light. His head turned slowly to one side and he flashed a menacing look the boy's way. Although he knew that look wasn't for him, it frightened him senseless nonetheless. His eyes were fiery and there might as well have been a demonic, terrifying aura surrounding the man. The anger, hatred, fury and rage radiated off of him like scalding heat from a sun.

"Where are you going?" The boy mumbled, petrified by the man. Sebastian turned his head away and faced the empty, black void before him.

"To do what I do best." Alois's body shuddered at the mortifyingly dark, throaty voice. This man couldn't be Sebastian. Not the Sebastian he knew, or at least, thought he knew. His head was swarming with unanswered questions. Before Alois could open his mouth, Sebastian disappeared into the night. He and Claude were left in complete silence. They were all alone. And Alois couldn't help but think to himself, so was Ciel.
