Sorry for not putting up the chapter when I said I would, I've been busy with other things. Here is the chapter.

After Queen Henrietta and the other royals left, Adam, Belle and all the other servants took the next day for a day to relax after all the stress everyone's been having.

When Belle went to check on Adam that morning, she found him still sleeping; so she decided to leave him be and not to wake him up. As she walked though the halls, she saw the servants taking things easy while they did their chores. Because she wasn't paying attention, Belle bumped into someone as she was turning a corner.

"Sorry," Belle said, "I wasn't paying attention." Belle saw that she bumped into a woman, who looked a little older than her. the woman was holding some laundry in her arms. When she looked at Belle, she became a little fearful and was worried. Before Belle had the chance to ask her what was wrong, the woman quickly ran away. Belle didn't try to go after her because the woman had run off very fast, so she decided to go on her way.

"Mademoiselle," Lumiere asked, "what brings you down here?" Belle had walked into the Great Hall where some of the servants, including Lumiere, were doing a touch of cleaning.

"I was just...walking around." Belle answered, "Do you need any help?"

"Oh no, Mademoiselle, we're almost done here. Besides, even if we weren't, we still wouldn't let you."

"Very well." Belle said, "Lumiere?"

"Yes?" he said.

"You know...all of the female servants here, do you?" she asked.

"But of course, I know all the servants, not just the ladies." Lumiere answered.

"Well, I ran into a girl earlier. I bumped into her by accident, but before I had the chance to talk to her, she ran off."

"Huh, what did she look like?"

"She...uh...had this black hair in a braid, hazel eyes, skin the same color as mine," she said, "but the one thing that stuck out was that she was wearing a scarf around her neck. She must've been very hot wearing that."

"Did you say 'scarf'?" Lumiere asked, Belle nodded 'yes'. He sighed and said, "The girl you're describing is Tranquillité."

"Who is Tranquillité?" Belle asked, Lumiere made a sad sigh.

"Well, Mademoiselle, if you remember correctly, she helped you move out of your cottage."

"Sorry Lumiere, I blocked that memory for a reason."

"I won't ask why," he said, "but that is who you ran into."

"Lumiere, by the way you're talking, it sounds like she's a sensitive person to talk about." Belle said.

"That's because she is, she was...the daughter that the Queen never had."

"Lumiere, can you give me more to go on?"

"As of now, no. We don't like to talk about her behind her back." He answered, Belle could tell that he was serious, so she didn't push it.

"All right, I'll let you go back to work." She said, she then walked away from the Great Hall.

Belle decided not to be cooped up inside the castle and walked around the beautiful gardens. She noticed that every plant she passed, it started to grow and it's buds bloom. She was thinking that her transformation may have something to do with the plants and flowers blooming everytime she comes near them, but to be honest, she really didn't care at the moment. She was thinking about how she really didn't know Tranquillité. Belle knew all the servants, but not her and by the way Lumiere talked about Tranquillité, she probably wasn't going to get anything from the servants.

When Belle pulled herself out of her thoughts, she noticed that she was at the pond. She remembered when she taught Adam, when he was the Beast, how to skate when she saw the pond. Belle kept her memories of when Adam was the Beast to herself, she really didn't talk about them. Belle was afraid that if she did talk about them, Adam would starting thinking that she preferred that he stayed as the Beast and Belle didn't want that to happen.

Belle stood there, in front of the pond, just remembering the fun she and Adam used to have when he was still the Beast. She greatly missed it; she knew that Adam wanted to change what his father had done, she understood that, but...she couldn't help the small part of her that wanted to have fun with him again.

Just then, she heard something behind her. Belle quickly turned around and, to her great surprise, saw Tranquillité. She was holding some paper and a pen in her hands and she was still wearing that scarf around her neck.

"It's...nice to meet you, Tranquillité." Belle said, Tranquillité just nodded her head. "I'm sorry for bumping into you this morning, I just wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She said, Tranquillité nodded her head again. Belle found it a little strange that she wasn't talking, but before she could ask her why, Tranquillité wrote something down on her sheets of paper and gave it to Belle. Belle gave her a skeptical look as she took the paper.

'Lunch is ready.' Written on the paper.

"Thank you, Tranquillité." Belle said, Tranquillité nodded her head again and turned to leave. Belle still found it very strange that Tranquillité never spoke a word, she was thinking maybe the reason she wasn't talking was also the same reason on why she was a sensitive person for the servants to talk about.

When Belle arrived at the dining hall, she was surprised to see her cousin, Tintement, walking on her own without any casts.

"You seemed surprised, Belle." Tintement said.

"That's because I am," Belle said, "last time I saw you, you had heavy casts on your arms and your left leg."

"That sister of mine paid a visit," Maurice said, "Celia gave something to Tintement and the next day, she was walking and acting like her old self."

"Well, I am happy that we're all feeling better." Belle said.

"I wish his highness was." Tintement said.

"Why? What's wrong with Adam?" Belle quickly asked.

"He's been sleeping all morning," Maurice said, "Mrs. Potts thinks it's from needing to get up so early in the morning."

"I wouldn't blame him," Tintement said, "we asked her if anyone was going to wake him up, but she said that everyone here would rather wake a hibernating bear than wake his highness up."

"I wouldn't blame them," Belle said, "I would rather wake you up, Tintement, rather than Adam."

"What? Did you try waking him up?"

"No, but I was close. I'm not even going to tell you what was going on."

"Very well then," Maurice said, "Let's eat."

After lunch, Belle went to the library, but after a few hours had passed, she was wondering if Adam was out of bed yet. Belle believed that when he was the Beast, he really didn't have a sleep pattern and he went to sleep and woke up at any time he wanted. She decided to go to the West Wing and take a chance to check on him.

Belle was more brave than any of the servants because none of the servants would even think about going to wake Adam. When Adam was still the Beast and if the servants woke him up, he would've been a real big fit of rage. As she was walking to the West Wing, Belle was starting to remember when she was very close to accidentally waking him up when he was the Beast.

Belle had fallen asleep in the library and when she woke up in the morning, she found Adam's cape covering her like a blanket. Since they were trying to get along at the time, Belle decided to show some fairness by returning his cape. When she was returning the cape, Belle ran into some of the servants. They told her that it would be suicide to go wake Adam, but Belle wasn't really planing on waking him up.

When she got to the then destroyed West Wing, Belle saw Adam sleeping on his destroyed matted bed, he was also snoring like he was dead asleep. Belle tip-toed her way through the destruction to reach him. When she did, she just put his cape next to him, but she was retracting her arms back, Adam's big right paw closed on her left wrist. Belle was worried that he might crush her hand, but it turns out he didn't grab her that hard. So with her right hand, Belle just gently pried his paw open. Once she was free, she carefully walked through the trashed room...until she stepped on something. It made a cracking sound, Belle was worried that she woke Adam up. When she looked back, she felt relief. She didn't wake him up, but he did turn to onto his left side.

Belle didn't care about the chance of accidentally waking Adam up, she just wanted to check on him. When she approached the West Wing, she didn't knock on the door, but she did slowly open it. When she looked in, there was no sign of Adam. She opened the door a little wider, she still didn't see him. Belle decided to go inside, but quiet and carefully. She knew that Adam wasn't a beast anymore, but he still had that temper of his. Belle really didn't want to see it again, but she knew that Adam had been trying hard to control it.

Belle looked around, she saw that some of the blankets were ruffled and pulled off the bed. Belle saw that as a sign that Adam was out of bed, she was about to turn to get out of his room, but something caught her eye. She saw something hiding under his bed, but the blankets, that were partly off the bed, were covering it. Belle walked over to the bed, pushed the blankets away and grabbed what she saw.

It was a basket, a big basket. Belle slid it out from under his bed and placed it on top. She remembered the last time got curious about something in Adam's room, he was so angry with her that she ran out of the castle only to get chased by wolves and Adam saving her life, but her curious mind was not leaving her alone until she opened the basket. When Belle did open the basket and remove the lid, it was something she wasn't expecting at all!
