Chapter 5

"I am not stupid!"

Steve and Bruce jump, hearing Tony's voice. Steve is most shock, and before he could stop himself, he covered his belly. Tony…Tony's here! Tony's here….he's here… His thoughts were all jumbled.

Bruce was the first one to get his mouth off the counter. "Tony, what are you doing here?"

"I followed you guys here because I need to talk to Cap but he doesn't want to talk to me…why the hell are you here?!" Tony shouted at them.

The two share a look before Bruce spoke again. "Steve wasn't feeling like having to deal with stuff (that is also none of YOUR business) and I brought him out here so he could clear his head." Bruce explained.

Tony looked hurt before looking at Steve to glare at him. "What the hell is he talking about Steve? Hell, we're best friends! What changed that?"

The blond sighed, looking down at the pizza in front of him. "I— Tony, I just— I can't explain what the hell is going on! I just have to deal with it!"

"Deal with that, Steve?!" Tony asked, causing the blond to wince.

Bruce glared again. "It's none of your—"

"I'm pregnant, okay?! I'm pregnant!" Steve snapped turning around to glare at Tony. Tony however, his mouth dropped, as he tried to think that through. Since Steve had a moment, he kept going. "It happened because of your stupid Capsicle drink and now I'm having your baby Tony!"

They were all glad no one was around.

Without another thought, Steve and Bruce got up, leaving the food (or at least Bruce did) and they headed out of there. Steve made it a block away before he began to actually cry.

I just told Tony that I'm pregnant! What if he thinks it isn't his…? I've never slept with anyone BUT him…. Why did I have to screw this up?! Steve thought, and then his eyes widen. Tony knows! TONY KNOWS!

Bruce was there for him however, and held him, telling him everything would be okay.

Yeah but what if Tony kicks me out? What will I do then? Steve thought as his heart began to sink in his chest, and he thought of the brunette. I think I actually really like him and now something happened so I HAVE to act on it and I RAN away! HOW COULD I?!

"Steve everything will be okay."

"How can you say that? You don't know! What if Tony kicks me out?!" the blond sobbed, "My baby—!"

"Will be fine," Bruce soothed, "And so will you."

Steve didn't push him anymore and soon, together they headed back to the Tower to hide. However, Tony came rushing out of Pizza Delight and went right to Bruce and Steve, and grabbing onto Steve's hand. Steve jumped, turning around with his eyes wide. "Tony—"

"Tell me you're joking Steve," Tony said in a firm voice. "Tell me you aren't really pregnant and this is just some joke!"

The blond shook his head. "I wish it was….but your stupid drink, Capsicle did this to me."

Tony eyed him, still holding onto his hand. "How can I trust you, Steve?"

"You've always trusted me, and I trust you." Steve said quietly. "Besides, I have a picture."

Steve pulled out a small grayish picture of some messed up form. However, if you looked close enough, you could see the outline of the baby. Steve handed it over to Tony and watched as Tony took in the picture carefully. Bruce was right beside Steve the whole time. "If you don't believe him Tony, I can do an ultrasound when we get back to the Tower and show you myself." Bruce said.

"Who….who's the father?" the genus looked up slowly, and Bruce could see that he was scared.

Bruce and Steve share a look. Steve turned to Tony, "You."

"How can that even happen!?" Tony shouted, still holding onto both Steve's hand and the baby picture. "It's humanly impossible!"

Steve covered his belly and glared. "Well its happening so if you don't like it, tell me to my face so I can leave the Tower!"

"Yeah?" snapped Tony, "WELL I HATE THAT YOU'RE LYING TO ME!"

"I'M NOT LYING!" Steve shouted back at him. Steve turned and began to storm as quickly as he could towards the Tower to get his things. He stopped, looking over his shoulder. "Are you on my side or his, Bruce?"

Bruce stood frozen. "Huh—"

"You're either with me or him!" Steve shouted again.

Tony glared. "At least I don't lie to my friends!"

"I'M NOT LYING!" Steve repeated, getting very angry. "SO WHAT'S IT GONNA BE!?"

Bruce gulped quietly. "You're both my friends—"

"Fine," Steve looked away, turning towards the Tower again. "Stay with him! I'll find someone else….!"

Tears were running down his cheeks now and he hurried off into the night. Bruce and Tony were left standing outside and it began to rain too. Both were too shocked to move.

Steve stormed into the Tower, causing Clint, Natasha, Thor and even Loki to jump when he entered. "So how did your date with Bruce go?" Natasha asked, going over towards her friend.

"It wasn't a date," Steve growled. He went to his room and threw his stuff into a bag. Natasha followed after him confused.

"Uh where are you going?" Nat asked.

The blond threw some shirts in his bag. "I'm leaving. Tony knows and he thinks I'm lying. So I'm out of here."

"Just like that, you're just gonna get up and leave?" Natasha asked, narrowing her eyes. Steve nodded. "What about your baby? You need Bruce!"

"He chose Tony," Steve said brokenly. "Everyone always chooses Tony."

"Well I'm choosing you right now." Natasha shrugged. "But you need Bruce so you gotta stay."

"Tony doesn't want me here," Steve replied grumpily.

"Oh? He told you that?"

"No…."

"Tony still wants you here."

"No he doesn't!"

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "Then why did he break up with Pepper for you?"

Steve froze. "What?"

The redhead walked towards him, taking the bag from his hands. "He told Pepper that he was falling for someone else and he couldn't stand how she controlled him all the time. He said that he couldn't be with someone who was also running around sleeping with Rhodey all the time." Nat said. "Tony also said that he was falling in love with America all over again."

That means…. "Tony loves me?"

"Heck yeah he does!" Natasha smiled— her creepy one but still a smile. "I found out from Rhodey that when Tony was a kid, he was gay. He was in love with you Steve, even then. But his dad wouldn't allow him to be gay so he turned into a playboy and we seen where this led us so….yeah, you better go get him, lover boy."

Steve nodded. "Yeah I gotta!"

Okay hey everyone! I've picked out what kind of babies— yes babies— but I need names.

I'm thinking about maybe having James Howard Joseph Stark-Rogers and Ethan Grant Stark-Rogers but I'm not sure….what do YOU all think? Oh, and they are gonna be BOYS. If you have a name you really want to see be used by Steve and Tony (maybe Bruce if Tony doesn't forgive Steve for 'lying' *Ohhhh I'm mean!*), well I'll be taking them in till the kids are actually born soooooooo tell me! BYE

Up Next: Steve goes to find Tony, who ends up turning up drunk. Stuff gets said, things go down and yet…in the end… Steve still finds himself in Tony's bed when he wakes up.
