"Cogsworth!" Adam shouted as he looked for him, "Where are you? Cogsworth!"

"Coming, sire!" He heard Cogsworth say, Adam tried to hold his temper back, but when Belle told him that the servants knew that he and Belle were becoming magical beings, he was pretty upset that they didn't say anything. Before he found Cogsworth, or if Cogsworth found him, Adam decided to stay where he was and try to calm his anger.

"Your majesty." Adam heard, but he knew it wasn't Cogsworth. He turned around and saw Lumiere with Mrs. Potts accompanying him.

"Is something wrong, sire?" Mrs. Potts asked.

"I suppose you can say that." Adam said; Lumiere and Mrs. Potts can sense that their master was very upset.

"I'm here, sire!" Just then, Cogsworth came out of nowhere and ran into Lumiere. Adam groaned as he shook his head.

"Watch where you're going, Cogsworth!" Lumiere said as he got up!

"It's not my fault you were there when I turned the corner!" Cogsworth pushed back, Adam was not in the mood to hear the two of them argue.

"Enough!" Adam shouted, "Both of you!" Lumiere and Cogsworth quickly shut their mouths and looked at their master.

"Sorry sire." Cogsworth said, "I suppose you have something to say since you called for me."

"Yes, but now that Lumiere and Mrs. Potts are here as well, I might as well talk to all three of you about it."

"About what, sire?" Mrs. Potts asked.

"Let's discuss this privately." Adam said, still trying to control his temper.

"Whatever this is about, sire," Cogsworth said as all four of them were in a private room, "you must be pretty upset about it."

"I am." Adam said, finally being able to control his temper at the moment.

"What exactly is it that's made you so upset, sire?" Lumiere asked.

"You know," Adam said, "every servant here knows."

"Knows what, sire?" Mrs. Potts said.

"Don't play dumb with me," he said, "a woman in white in your dreams, mother being alive and me having magic powers." All three servants looked at each other, almost being very worried.

"So...it's true?" Mrs. Potts asked.

"Why didn't any of you speak up to me or Belle?" Adam asked.

"Because...because we were all worried that you and Belle wouldn't believe us or we were making it up." Lumiere said.

"We were also worried about what that woman said if we told anyone outside the castle." Cogsworth said.

"She scared you, didn't she?" Adam asked.

"Sire, do you...know her?" Mrs. Potts asked.

"Only a little," he answered, "but I can understand why all the servants are worried about talking about it." Without Cogsworth, Lumiere or Mrs. Potts looking, Adam pulled out the black stone and gently squeezed it.

Just then, there was a loud pop and swirls of purple, black, red and blue sparks. Of course, it scared the three loyal servants, but Adam tried to calm them down. Soon, the sparks faded and revealed Lydia and when the servants saw her, they really couldn't believe it.

"Lumiere, Mirabelle, it's been a long time, hasn't it?" Lydia asked.

"Yes...it...has." Lumiere slowly answered.

"Are you...really alive or am I looking at a ghost?" Mrs. Potts asked, Lydia made this sneaky smile and looked over at Cogsworth. His face dropped and was about to run out of the room, but Lydia grabbed him by his neck collar and popped him right smack in the head.

"I saw that coming." Adam said under his breath.

"Now, would a ghost do that?" Lydia asked as Cogsworth held onto the top of his head.

"Nope, you're real." Lumiere said.

"Mother, they know."

"Something was telling that something was wrong when you called for me." Lydia said, she then looked back at Cogsworth, "Cogsworth, was this your doing?" Cogsworth started to stammer because his fear of the former queen was coming back.

"Madame, don't go after him!" Lumiere piped up, Lydia looked at Lumiere. "This woman in white came in everyone's dreams and told us that you were alive, the master was some kind of mythical being and..."

"First off," Lydia boomed, "the woman that you're talking about is my empress, Lady Temps, and don't forget that. Second, I'm not any kind of mythical being; I'm a rare magical being and don't be blaming me for it, blame that stupid king of yours."

"We're not doing anything of the sort." Mrs. Potts said, "We're just trying to understand."

"I know, but at the moment my temper is ready blow just thinking about it. Anyway, back to what I was saying, because of...that monster did to me, you now have a prince who's half- human and half-sorcerer and if anyone has a problem with that, you'll be answering to me."

"Are you telling us that...the master has magical powers?" Cogsworth asked.

"Yes, and I've been training him at night so he can learn to control and use them." Lydia answered, "So that means that none of you three should bother him if he sleeps in, that goes for Belle too."

"Mother, she hasn't done anything wrong." Adam said, "Will you stop picking on her?"

"Easy, Adam, that's not what I meant! What I meant to say is that these three better not bother you or Belle."

"Well, that certainly explains it." Adam said.

"You have our word, Madame, Master." Lumiere said.

"Right, Cogsworth?" Mrs. Potts said as she looked at him.

"Yes, of course!" Cogsworth quickly said, still very scared of Lydia.

"This woman..." Lumiere said, but Lydia quickly gave him a stern look. "I meant, your empress also told us that...the Mistress was also a magical being and that her mother's alive too."

"That's because she is," Lydia said, "Veronica was brought back from the dead around the same time I was and Belle is also half-human and half-sorceress, so no judging them!"

"Yes, Madame." Cogsworth said, Lumiere and Mrs. Potts didn't say anything, but they nodded their heads agreeing with Lydia.

"Adam, why don't you go outside the room." Lydia said, "I want to talk to these three on my own."

"All right," Adam sighed, "just don't put out too much harm."

"I don't plan to." She said, Adam then left the room and Lydia was alone with Cogsworth, Lumiere and Mrs. Potts.

"It's still hard to believe that...you're standing here in front of us." Mrs. Potts said.

"I know it is," Lydia said, "but I'm in the flesh and blood. I've got a pumping heart...and my pumping temper. Now that I'm thinking about it..." Lydia then popped on Cogsworth's head again, "that's for letting my son go out of control," then again, "spoiling him to death," and again, "and making him fall prey to a spell!"

"I-I-I can explain!" Cogsworth said, holding his head.

"Don't bother, you're only lucky that I'm not going to do anything worse because my hand's getting sore. I'm not going to let this go, Cogsworth. Besides that, I'm now relying on all you servants that are still here to not say a word about this outside the castle because not only will you deal with my empress, you'll also be dealing with me and Veronica!"

"Of course, Madame!" Lumiere said, "We won't say anything!"

"Our mouths are sealed!" Mrs. Potts said.

"But what about the children around here?" Cogsworth quickly asked, "What about the master's cousin and aunt?" Lydia's temper started to flare again and she popped Cogsworth's head again with her other hand.

"Cogsworth, give me an excuse on why I shouldn't pop you on the head again." She said, Cogsworth just kept his mouth shut and his hands over his head. "Hmm, I need you two make sure that this stuffed clock doesn't tell anyone outside the castle."

"Yes, Madame." Lumiere and Mrs. Potts said together.

"Good, now as I said, I'll be training Adam at night so that we don't attract attention from other people. As for Belle, I don't know what's going on with her, but when her training comes, she'll be doing it at night as well. So no getting on them for sleeping in. Once their training is done, they'll go back to sleeping at night and up during the day. I'll know if anything is going on, Adam will tell me."

"Yes, Madame." All three of them said.

"Good, now I think I'll go and train Adam more. Get yourselves some sleep...and Cogsworth, use ice for that head of yours." Lydia turned and left the room herself, Adam was waiting a little ways down the hall.

"Let me guess, you knocked Cogsworth again?" he asked.

"Three more times, then I was done." Lydia answered, "Let's go to your room so I can train you."

"Mother, I need to ask," Adam said as he led Lydia to the West Wing, "Why do you pick on Cogsworth so much?" Lydia then stopped on a dime, Adam noticed that and he turned around.

"I knew that question was going to come sooner than later." She said, "I pick on him because he let me get attacked by your father."Adam's eyes widen when he heard that.

"What?"

"When your father was coming after me, Cogsworth was standing in the hallway. As your stupid father was dragging me away, I called out to Cogsworth to help me. He just stood there...and turned the other way. Ever since I got attacked, I never gave Cogsworth the respect her deserves from me."

"Mother...I'm sorry to hear that." Adam said, "I didn't realize..."

"I didn't get of him because of the loyalty you had in him." Lydia said, "Also because of the loyalty his father was giving me before the attack. I want Cogsworth to figure out why I'm so angry with him rather than tell him, he's smarter than he looks, he just doesn't use that head of his."

"Well...he is a worry wart."

"Just like his father," Lydia said, "before I get ahead of myself, your room now, mister!"

"Yes, mother."
