A few days passed since Lefou and Mimi found the castle...and when Lady Temps made her offer to Belle. Ever since then, Adam and Belle's sleeping patterns were altered. They would sleep in the early morning, around 3:00, all the way to the afternoon, at one or two o'clock. None of the servants even tried to go wake them up because they now had proof that the dream every single one of them had was real.

The servants didn't see any magic happen, but Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth all saw Lady Lydia, the former queen and Adam's mother. In fact, Cogsworth still had the lumps on his head from her, so no one, not even Cogsworth, was imagining her. All the servants tried their best not to wake Belle or Adam, despite the fact that the two of them should've been up already. The only ones who thought it was strange were Belle's father and cousin, they didn't know any answers to why because, for one reason, no one really didn't know how to explain everything to them and, the biggest reason of all, Belle felt like her mother, Veronica, should explain herself to them.

When eight days passed, the servants received a letter, but it wasn't any ordinary letter. This letter held two seals, one on the front and on the back. One seal had the royal mark of Adam's family and the other seal had the royal mark of Sagittarius' family. The servants knew for a fact that the letter was from Queen Henrietta Rainier, Adam's aunt. All the servants knew that this was a very seriously important letter, but they really didn't like the idea of waking Adam and Belle. They were actually thinking of waiting until the two of them to wake up, in all great reality, they all didn't want to face the former queen, they were very afraid of the possible chance of seeing her ruthless anger.

Since Mimi was the new girl, they didn't discuss this stuff with her. The servants knew about her and Belle and what her sisters had done to her. Not a lot of the servants interacted with her because of those reasons, one of the few who did was Tranquillité, the silent servant that Belle bumped into. Like Belle, Mimi was wondering why Tranquillité didn't speak, but Tranquillité never gave an answer. Tranquillité was probably the only servant who wanted to wake Belle and Adam because of the seriousness of the letter that was received. She decided to take the matter into her own hands. While Cogsworth and some of the other servants were discussing what to do, Tranquillité secretly took the important letter and went to Belle's room. She would rather deal with cranky Belle rather than that exploding temper of Adam's, despite the fact that she knew him a lot.

When Tranquillité approached Belle's room, she didn't knock on the door. Belle didn't need to get out of bed yet, so she gently opened the door. When Tranquillité closed the door behind her, she could tell that Belle was under all her blankets. She gently went to the side of the bed and gently tapped on Belle's body. She saw that Belle moved a little, sat up and the blankets fell off her.

"Tranquillité?" Belle groaned; then she yawned, "What is it?" As usual, Tranquillité didn't say anything, but she brought out the sealed letter. When Belle saw the letter, she didn't understand at first, but when Tranquillité pointed at the seals, Belle understood the seriousness of it. "Let me guess," she added, "you understand the importance of it, but all the servants are too scared to wake Adam up." Tranquillité nodded her head, agreeing with what Belle said. "All right, I know I'll have to face him."

After getting herself dressed, Belle went up to the West Wing, almost expecting Adam to be snoring like a bear and with the letter in her hands. She wouldn't be too surprised if he was still sleeping, despite the fact in was one in the afternoon. She went up to the door and put her head against the door, seeing if she could hear anything. Belle really didn't hear anything, but she wasn't going to take a chance of waking Adam up by knocking on the door. So, like Tranquillité, Belle opened the door without knocking, but when she looked inside, Belle was speechless.

The whole room was covered in this gray stuff, it looked like cobwebs, but it was in a beautiful silver color. Belle entered the room and gently closed the door behind her. She couldn't stop looking around the room, it looked like everything was covered in a blanket of cobwebs and dust, but when she finally touched it, it didn't fell like cobwebs and dust, it was actually very soft to touch. Belle also knew that Adam was somewhere in the bedroom and there was a chance his mother, Lydia, was too, so she decided to be very careful walking around. Just then, she heard ruffling. Belle was now starting thinking that her mind was beginning to play tricks on her. She tried to tell herself that it was nothing, but her mind continued to tell her otherwise.

"Calm yourself, Belle." She whispered to herself, "It's just your mind playing tricks. There's nothing to be afraid of." Just then, she felt something grabbing her shoulders. It startled her so much that she screamed about to run off, but whatever grabbed her held her tighter.

"Belle, it's just me!"

"Adam?" Belle asked, "You almost scared the life out of me."

"Sorry." Adam said, letting Belle go. Belle turned around and saw Adam, still in his pajamas.

"Here I thought I may have to wake you up." She said.

"For what?" he asked, Belle bought her hand up, but she realized that she didn't have the letter.

"Where did it go?" she frantically asked as she looked around.

"What?" Adam asked again.

"A letter! A very important letter!" Belle said.

"You mean that one up there?" Adam asked as he pointed upwards. Belle looked up and saw the letter stuck to the gray stuff.

"How did it get up there?"

"Silk can be sticky at first." He said.

"All of this is silk?" She asked.

"Yep," Adam answered, "I must've done it while I was asleep. Silk can't be here in relish, let it vanish!" Adam's hands started to glow and all of the silk started to go towards the middle of his palms. The bedroom went back to looking like a bedroom as the silk vanished into Adam's hands. The ends of the silk grabbed the letter so when the silk vanished completely, Adam closed his right hand over the letter.

"Oh my." Belle said, amazed by what she saw.

"So what's this letter about?" Adam asked, but then he saw the seals by his family and Sagittarius' family. He then gently removed the wax and read the letter. Belle could the shock and surprise on his face as he read through the letter.

"What does it say?" Belle asked.

"My aunt wants to know if she and other ranks come here or should we come over to her castle to celebrate me receiving my father's crown...and also wants to know what we think about the double wedding."

"Oh dear," she said, "we really haven't had a chance to talk about it. We've been so busy and tired to think about it."

"I know, so...we might as well try to now. Has there been anything about it that you want?"

"Well, there have been a few things," she answered, "but I don't think you'll like it."

"Red roses?" Adam guessed, now Belle was worried that she touched a sore spot. She knew that Adam didn't mind the roses, but she feared that he might have a problems with the red ones because a red rose held his beastly fate.

"Look Adam, before you say anything, let me explain." Belle said, Adam just raised his eyebrows. "I know you have problems with red roses because I've seen proof of it in the rose garden. You have roses in every color except red, I know a red rose held your fate, but through my eyes a red rose is what brought us together!"

"I know." Adam said calmly.

"You know?" Belle asked, in surprise.

"I'm slowly getting over my issue with red roses, but if you want red roses at our wedding, then I'll give you red roses." Adam said, "Should we...do the double wedding?"

"Well, Adam, think about it. Your cousin and Sapphire will be married the same time we will, you can be with your cousin again, considering the close relationship between the two of you."

"True, so you're saying that we should go ahead with the double wedding?"

"I think so," Belle said, "now...should we go to your Aunt's castle to receive your crown?"

"I rather not." Adam answered.

"Why not?" she asked, "The castle will be really packed."

"I know that," he said, "but I would have a packed castle rather than..."

"Than what?" Belle asked, Adam groaned as he rubbed his eyes.

"Rather than go through that monster's village." Adam answered, now Belle knew the reason. Both of them knew that the road from the castle goes through the village and neither one of them wanted Anton to catch them, especially Belle.

"I agree with you." Belle quickly agreed.

"Forgive me, Belle. I really didn't want to mention...him."

"I know you didn't," Belle said with her hands on his bed, "but now that you did, he's now haunting me again."

"Sorry, Belle." Adam said, putting his right hand on Belle's back.

"Now I'm really worried," she said, "because either way, there's a good chance that the villagers will know about this place and you. When they find out I'm marrying you, that's going to cause problems between the villagers and the other ranks."

Just then, they heard something, it sounded like something hitting against glass. Belle and Adam looked at all the windows and saw, over by the glass doors opening to the balcony, was Chaux. Adam walked over to the doors and opened them, Chaux flew right in and landed on the table where the enchanted rose was hiding.

"Hello master." Chaux said, "Hello, madam."

"What brings you here?" Belle asked, "After what you told my mother?"

"I saw that coming, that wasn't me." Chaux answered, "That was my stupid half-sister's doing. I warned her about spying."

"You're talking about Citron?" Adam asked.

"Yes, I am. Lady Lydia almost crushed her when she found out that she spied on you and Belle. Anyway, that's not the reason I'm here."

"Then why are you here?" Belle asked.

"My dumb sister overheard the two of you talking about a guy that was scaring Belle to death, so Lady Veronica, in her state of depression, sent me to find out more about this guy."

"Whoa, wait a minute." Adam quickly spoke up, "You went to Anton's village?"

"Forget that, my mother is in a state of depression?" Belle quickly asked.

"One at a time, please!" Chaux boomed, Belle and Adam backed off. They couldn't believe such a voice came out of her little body. "Sorry, anyway to answer the madam's question, Veronica is on the very sad side. It's to the point where she starting to go back to her drinking habits."

"What's wrong with her?" Belle asked.

"Well, from what I heard coming out of Veronica's mouth, she's upset because she believes that your father no longer loves her."

"Where did she get that idea from"?" Adam asked.

"Because Lady Veronica said that when she was going to reveal herself to her husband, she caught him kissing another woman." Chaux explained, "She said the woman had white hair and was wearing a purple and pink outfit with a white apron."

"Mrs. Potts." Adam said, "Poor Veronica."

"When she was 'dying'," Belle sighed, "I overhead papa promising her that he would never kissed another woman unless it was her."

"Veronica saw that he broke that promise." Chaux added, "So there's no way you'll want to see her in the condition she's in. So to answer my master's answer, I did go to the village, not to far from here, and...I believe I saw the man that madam is so scared of."

"Black hair, evil green eyes and wearing a black jerkin?" Belle asked.

"Yep."

"It was Anton you saw and he is the man that's been haunting me."

"Well, I saw and sense why." Chaux said, "What a renege over that town he has."

"He always had," Belle said, "he rules that village like it's his own palace."

"Well, I'm starting to think that he might be obsessed with you, madam. He's more than determined to have you, madam." Chaux said, "I'm not sure on why, but he's not going to give up on you."

"Something that Gaston picked up from him!" Belle said, Adam wanted to say something to make her feel better, but he didn't know what to say. "For years, those men wanted me and...I'm tired of being the hunted animal!"

"Don't you dare call yourself that!" Adam boomed, Belle was actually very surprised by Adam's voice. "You continue to call yourself and I'll be thinking I'm better off being the Beast."

"How could you say that?" Belle cried out, Chaux decided to keep her mouth shut. "Adam, you were in misery being the Beast. I can't allow you to think you were better off as the Beast."

"Finally." He said, Belle was confused.

"Finally what?" she asked.

"That the real Belle finally broke through." Adam answered.

"I don't mean to intrude," Chaux piped up, "but I think you should talk to someone about this problem of yours, madam."

"I really don't have anyone to talk to about this." Belle said, "Forgive me, Adam, but I have a hard time discussing it with you."

"If you want my opinion, madam, I think you should talk to your mother and Lady Lydia."

"My mother? Maybe, but Lady Lydia, that's a no-no." Belle said.

"Why not?" Adam asked, Belle groaned as she pushed her hair back.

"Adam, I've seen the lumps on Cogsworth's head," she answered, "I don't want those on my head."

"My mother scares you, doesn't she?" Adam asked.

"I rather not admit it...because she is your mother."

"Belle, you're not the only person who's been afraid of my mother." Adam said, "I've had people tell me that they're afraid to tell me that the struggle to be around me because they're scared of my mother."

"She reminds me of you." Belle said, "A fiery anger hiding a kind person."

"Exactly," he said, "we both have...horrible tempers to hide who we are, but...considering our pasts, it's hard to bring it down."

"I guess...I'll try to talk to your mother...and mine, when she's feeling better." Belle said.

"If you like, madam, I'll go tell her."

"Chaux," Belle piped up, "are you planning to stay a while?"

"Would you like me to?"

"Yes." Belle answered, Adam could tell that Belle was rattled by what they were just told. He also knew that he would have to do whatever he could to make sure that Belle feels safe and happy.

"Chaux, why don't you join us downstairs?" Adam said, "Belle and I are going to have a discussion with the servants."

"It would be my pleasure."
