"Now will you show me my surprise?" Belle asked Sapphire after the coronation ended.
"Well, aren't we a little excited?" Sapphire said with a smile. "Sure, let's go to my room." Belle and Sapphire went to Sapphire's room, Belle could only guess what she had for her. When they did reach Sapphire's room, they saw there was a large moveable door. Belle recognized it that it was used for showing off clothes. "You ready?" Sapphire asked as she put her hands on it.
"Yes." Belle said excitedly, Sapphire opened it and Belle couldn't believe her eyes. It was her mother's wedding dress; it was completely fixed like it was brand-new. It was completely made of white and silver silk, the gloves reached all the way to the shoulder and the veil was very long, long enough to drag on the ground. Belle was speechless as she stared at the wedding dress that she plans to be in when she marries Adam. "Sapphire...I...I...I don't know what to say." Belle said as she gently touched her mother's old wedding dress.
"Just say you like it." Sapphire said with a smile.
"Like it? I adore it! I love what you did! It looks...like it was never used before!" Belle said as she closed her eyes and hugged the dress. Sapphire was very happy with what Belle said, Belle then opened her eyes. She looked to her right and saw another wedding dress. "Sapphire, who's that dress for?" Sapphire smiled as she looked at the other dress.
"It's for me." Sapphire answered, Belle almost dropped her mouth when she heard that. "I worked on my dress before Sagittarius and I came here. I had to make sure that it was done before we came here. Do you like my wedding dress?"
"It's very beautiful, but..." Belle looked at her dress and then back at Sapphire's dress. "why is my dress...more beautiful than your own? I would think you would make them equally beautiful."
"Hmm, well, since this is your mother's wedding dress...I decided that your dress deserved more attention than mine, but don't worry, I can still add some things to it."
"Thank you, for all the hard work you put into it." Belle said.
"You're welcome, now I need to lock this thing so our dresses are safe." Sapphire said as she closed the portable dress wall. She put a chain around it and padlocked it.
"You really put into a lot of protection." Belle said.
"I have to," Sapphire said as she put her key away under her pillow, "you never know what might happen."
"True, but don't you think this is a little much?" Belle asked as she opened the bedroom door.
"You never know what might happen," Sapphire said as the two of them left her room. She locked the door and said; "especially around Nanette and her kids." Belle knew that Sapphire had a point, Adam had told her that Nanette spread a rumor about her daughters marrying Adam and Sagittarius. Belle was very angry that such a rumor was created, she can only guess how angry Sapphire got, but more importantly, how angry Adam and Sagittarius were. "Well, let's not let the bad news keep us down, let's go down to the ballroom and dance with those men ours."
"Adam will probably feel better once he's with me, he always does." Belle said.
"Then we'll have to make that doesn't happen!" Belle and Sapphire jumped when they heard that, before they can comprehend what they heard, someone grabbed them and put their hand over their mouths and throats. Belle couldn't breathe, she saw Sapphire struggling, but she soon fell to the ground. Belle didn't have the strength...or air...to keep fighting, she soon fell to the ground unconscious. When the two of them fell to the ground, the people that went after them remove their black disguises. It was Fantina, her sister, Aceline, and her brother, Karlitis.
"Well done, my children." Fantina, Aceline and Karlitis heard, they looked over at the corner and saw their mother come out. "Now...the two of you know what to do?" she asked with an evil smile.
"Yes, mother." Fantina, Aceline and Karlitis answered.
"Fantina and Aceline will charm the princes while I...give these girls my wonderful charm." Karlitis said, "Don't worry, mother, leave it to us."
"I knew I could count on the three of you," Nanette said, "too bad...your baby sister won't be enjoying the pleasures the three of you will get. No matter, we'll all get what we want...once we get rid of these two on the ground."
"Leave it to me, mother." Karlitis said holding two very large bags. "I'll take care of these ladies." Nanette nodded her head; then her children stuffed Sapphire in one bag and Belle in the other. The three kids took Belle and Sapphire out of the castle, Fantina and Aceline were having high hopes that Sagittarius and Adam would forget about Sapphire and Belle and would marry them.
"I can already see it." Fantina said, "Sagittarius telling me that he was wrong to marry Sapphire and wants to marry me." She then giggled about it.
"Adam is very handsome," Aceline said, "I don't know why he's looking at Belle and no one else."
"Don't worry, sisters." Karlitis said, "You'll soon have them eating out of your hands...while I'll have these two begging for mercy."
When Belle finally opened her eyes, she didn't recognize where she was. She guessed that she was in a cave, but the first thing she saw...was Sapphire. She was gagged and wearing a special kind of shackles that covered her hands to her wrists and her feet to her ankles. When Belle tried to get up, she couldn't move her feet or hands. She looked behind herself and saw that she was wearing the same kind of shackles that Sapphire wore.
"Well, it looks like one of the princesses is awake." Belle looked in front of her and saw Karlitis. He then pulled the gag out of her mouth.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"Why should that matter to you?" Karlitis answered, he then saw Sapphire sitting up with this angry look on her face, "Ah, Sapphire, you're awake." Sapphire shook her head until the gag slid off.
"Karlitis, I should've known you were going to do this." Sapphire said in an angry tone.
"You shouldn't have wandered off from your men." Karlitis said, "Now you've lost them forever, they'll soon marry my sisters!"
"Never!" Sapphire shouted, then out of nowhere, Karlitis slapped her across the face.
"Sapphire!" Belle yelled out; then Karlitis kicked Belle in the chest and held her against the hard wall with his foot.
"I...did not...give you permission to speak!" Karlitis shouted, he then removed his foot from Belle's chest and she fell to the ground coughing.
"You leave her alone, Karlitis!" Sapphire said as her face started to swell.
"Why should I? It's an embarrassment for princes to marry commoners! It's like poisoning the royal line, my sisters will be the antidote. The two of you will soon be wounds that will healed over and forgotten!"
"The only poison around here is you and that family of yours!" Sapphire barked, Karlitis then grabbed her silver dress and ripped it off her.
"Give that back!" Belle snapped, Karlitis turned around, grabbed Belle's golden dress and ripped it off her. Belle couldn't believe what had happened.
"Imagine how beautiful Fantina and Aceline would look in these dresses!" Karlitis said, "Or maybe I should destroy them now!"
"No!" Belle and Sapphire shouted, but Karlitis started to rip the silver and golden dresses into many pieces. He ripped Sapphire's silver dress first by using an ax, he then used a sword to destroy Belle's golden dress. Karlitis then threw the pieces of the two dresses on the ground, he then put the ax in the discarded silver dress pieces and the sword in the discarded golden dress pieces. When he did, Belle and Sapphire fell to the ground themselves. Nothing could express the emotion going through them. Adam had made the golden dress for Belle before their first dance and Sapphire made the silver dress when she was dancing with Sagittarius during their New Year's Eve party and it was also the very dress she was wearing when Lucinda stabbed her and the family curse was removed.
"You're going to pay dearly for this!" Sapphire shouted as she tried to stand back up.
"How exactly around the two of you going to do that?" Karlitis asked with an evil smile. "I already know about that form with the needles that you change into, you can't even go after me if you do change. You know what, that's another reason you shouldn't be with Sagittarius!"
"Shut up!" Sapphire said as she tried to lunge at him, but Karlitis punched her in the stomach. She soon fell to the hard ground in pain.
"Sapphire!" Belle said, she then looked at Karlitis. "She's right, you're going to pay very much for this."
"Big words from such helpless and worthless commoners." Karlitis said, but Belle wasn't going to stand down.
"Go ahead and call me names," Belle said, "but you're not going to bring me down!"
"I'm going to make sure I do that to you and Sapphire." Karlitis said as he walked over to a large bag. He opened it and there were multiple kinds of weapons. "I wonder what I should use on the two of you first."
