Chapter 6

Day One….

Naruto woke up feeling kinda sick in his stomach as the thought of having a private trainer and the aspect that it was someone he was kind of unfamiliar with was causing him to stress out about impressing and trying to not make a fool of himself along with the sensation of excitement that someone of the village had taken a notice of him.

Kivira could feel the excitement, fear, shyness, and determination flowing through Naruto so strongly when she woke up this morning, she looked over at him and then at the clock that showed that it was only 6am. With a sigh she let one of her tails slip out from under the blanket and try to wrap around the boy who was frantically tossing clothes here and there and digging elsewhere for stuff. He resisted the gentle pull of her tail as he continued to be ancy, and tried to move to another pile of stuff. With a surprised look he felt another tail crack him on the head like a whip, before he was forcefully lifted up and back into the bed.

Kivira just looked at him before dropping him next to her.

"Go back to sleep Naruto…." she said clearly annoyed to be awoken so early. He went to retort back about how he needed to get ready when another tail pressed against his mouth stifling his protest.

"You will lay down and rest for another two hours or else….." Kivira warned as an ear twitched and she looked at him from the corner of her eye.

He gave in and stopped struggling, already trying to plot a way to escape once she had fallen back to sleep. His plan never hit fruition though as he felt his eyes grow suddenly heavy and before he knew it it was 10am and he was waking up with a heavy yawn.

He climbed out of bed and shuffled into the kitchen opening a cabinet and pulling down a ramen container. He was completely oblivious to the world as he started boiling water and then shuffled back to the bathroom and turned the shower on. He let the water heat up and then striped off his clothes and climbed into the shower. He sighed as the water felt nice, he was as far as he could tell just entranced with the world for whatever reason and was ready to just have a fully relaxing day. No duties no school just him Kivira and home….. as that thought crossed his mind he felt a hand land on his head and begin to wash his hair.

Naruto just sighed and drooped his head down and let the hand continue to run through his hair and soap it up. As the hand continued to move along his scalp he felt a second hand on his back that began to scrub and wash all along his shoulders and neck until he was certain he was pink and clean. After a few more minutes passed he felt himself being turned around and the soap being washed off and in front of him was Kivira smiling as she continued to wash him. She spent the next few minutes scrubbing his neck, ears and chest along with than his arms and legs until he was pretty sure he was clean all over. As he turned he felt a rag hit him in the face and saw Kivira point to his private area and telling him to scrub himself the rest of the way clean.

He just nodded, and began to clean himself up before rinsing off and climbing out of the shower with Kivira wrapping him up in a big fluffy towel. He dried himself off and walked back out into the kitchen area where food had been cooking apparently unbeknownst to Naruto as he coulda swore that in the 10 minutes he was in the shower none of this had been out. He was confused and felt a small tug in his mind but it floated away as he sat down and kinda stared lazily at the world.

Kivira just smiled as she served a plate of food to Naruto and walked around letting a tail wrap up and brush his face before lightly tapping him on the back of the head. Narutos vision cleared up instantly and he wasn't really sure where he was or why he was in just a towel and scrubbed clean but he was certain that he had been in his bedroom getting ready for the training that was in four hours… As his eyes floated up to the clock that said it was 11:30 he panicked before he felt his mouth get full of food.

"Naruto you need to eat right now…. I'll get your clothes." Kivira said with a smile as she let go of the bread that was in his mouth. She walked away as Naruto was slightly choking on the piece of bread that was wedged into his mouth and pulled it out with a gasp as he heard Kivira walk back into the room and set down some clothes that were black with green and purple mixed in here and there with a little slivers of silver.

"You should wear these clothes….." Kivira said with a smile as she grabbed some food herself and dug in. Naruto just kinda gawked at Kivira before shrugging and eating for the next five minutes. He smiled content and got dressed slipping on the black shirt and pants that had a intrinsic design on them. The shirt had the whirlpool emblem on the back in a dark purple that blended in with the black, if it wasn't for the dark green outline you'd probably miss it. Then there was the silver bands and trim all around the edges. Then on the front there was the second emblem that Naruto didn't recognize that had the whirlpool emblem with a what looked like swirls underneath the main one forming a pool of whirlpools. They were done in the same manner except that silver bordered the green and purple. The pants were trimmed in silver with mixed purple and green swirl designs on them. Naruto just looked at them before shrugging and not caring about them. Kivira on the other hand was silently cheering inside her head as he looked good in the battle gear.

The material was light but also felt very durable, to him which was probably a good thing because his clothes had a tendency to be destroyed or close to that. With a smile Naruto hugged Kivira and thanked her for the clothes before he got his shoes on and left the apartment. Kivira just giggled as she watched him walk away. "He has no idea of what he now possesses." Kivira thought as she felt herself fade from the room and into his head.

Naruto walked for only a few minutes before he was at the training ground with 10 minutes to spare. He smiled as his first day of training was going to begin and decided to do some warm up exercises to get pumped for the day. He started with sit ups and then push ups followed by running some laps. It was with his last turn that he felt a gust of air and jumped as it increased in pressure almost bowling him over had he still been on the ground.

Sandual stepped out from the shadow of the tree's and nodded as noon struck on the sundial.

"Ready to begin?" He asked as he seized up Naruto who was clearly still mystified by the wind just now…

With just a nod Naruto opened his bag and pulled out a notebook and a fundamentals of chakra manipulation book. Sandual just watched with amusement as he waited for him to pull out all of his things and set them up before saying.

"You can put all of that away today as we aren't going to be doing any reading or theory writing today." He said clearly annoying the child as he huffed and packed everything up again.

"So today we are going to determine how strong your wind affinity is" Sandual said as he made a hand sign and some air compressed itself into a kunai in his hand. He walked forward and extended the kunai out to Naruto who wasn't sure how he could even begin to pick up or hold the weapon that was clearly not solid to the eye.

Nevertheless Naruto reached out and felt the sensation of a breeze blowing over his hand gently and was surprised when the kunai maintained form and also took on a translucent bluish gold color. He just stared, dumbfounded as Sandual observed the blade.

"Good, you do indeed have some form of wind in you otherwise that blade would have dispersed the moment it left my hand." Sandual said as he retrieved the blade and it went back to its clearer state. Naruto looked at him and felt some excitement that someone was giving him a praise. Sandual focused but a brief moment before he threw the kunai at a tree leaving a indent before leaving no evidence of what had caused the damage.

"I specialize in ninjutsu and genjutsu with a very specific form of tai jutsu that isn't meant for head-on combat, and it revolves around. You on the other hand probably aren't suited for cloak and dagger work…." Sandual said watching intently as Naruto sat and pondered what he was saying. It took only a minute or so before he blurted out

"Wait you're an assassin?!" He yelped as he backed up a step or two before being met with pressured resistance as the wind was suddenly pushing back at him making to move.

"Yeah kid I'm quite good at what I do…" He said as he looked at Naruto for a moment and Naruto was suddenly at a loss of breath as he felt his heart begin to race as air was being removed from his body. It only lasted a second before he was collapsed on the ground breathing hard taking in big gulps of air.

"Now do you understand? I don't leave traces, have a need for poison or the likes. I could never even have to be inside the area as long as I know the target." Sandual said with a cold expression as he moved and sat down next to Naruto.

"I think your prowess for wind is about the same as mine now, you will grow stronger then me when you're my age, you just have to live that long…" Sandual muttered with a sad sigh as he thought about his best friend back in school.

"I knew your father well and your basicly a spitting image of him although your hair is nothing in comparison, although im sure you'll grow into it." Sandual spoke with sadness in his voice as Naruto stared shocked at him since no one ever talked about his family besides Kivira who only mentioned they had passed away.

"You know kid, despite what everyone says, tells and calls you, you arent bad at all. Probably one of the best kids in this village in all honesty…." Sandual said with a tone of finality as he stood and beckoned for Naruto to get up also.

"Alright so today we're going to go over basic chakra manipulation and then work on trying to sense the flow of the wind."

Naruto just nodded unsure of how he would accomplish the second part but he had practiced the chakra part in school and at home and at least could do it now. Putting his hands together he made the first sign and relaxed letting his energy begin to flow around him. He could of sworn he heard purring of some sort as he heard Kivira tell him good job in his mind. He just smiled as the blue chakra swirled around him slowly growing in intensity and size.

Sandual just watched humored at the amount of chakra a 6 year old could possess even with a tailed beast locked inside of him. It was with that thought however that the red swirls begin to pour out and mix with the blue chakra which was now reaching out to about 15 feet. It began to take on the reddish hue and then turned into a darker purplish color. Sandual was surprised at that as he was sure the kyuubi's chakra would simply overpower and take over, not mix and combine as the radius of chakra quickly expanded out to 25 then 30 feet.

"Alright thats enough…" Sandual said as the sphere of chakra continued to expand farther and farther now reaching almost 50 ft out that he had to step back a few feet.

"ENOUGH!" He yelled and Naruto blinked as all the chakra swirled and vanished around him. The grass and vegetation and the few trees that had been in had grown and looked healthier than it was thought possible. Sandual just stared with a hard look deciding how to proceed from that minor display of chakra.

"The kid has so much chakra the possibilities of what he can and could do are endless, He needs to be on my side for sure…" Sandual thought as he walked forward feeling a sense of calm as he entered where the chakra clearly had left a residual effect. Naruto wasn't entirely sure he had successfully manipulated his chakra well enough but Kivira was definitely cheering him on.

"Alright squid, do it again and this time keep the energy around you instead of letting it expand outward." Sandual said as Naruto looked confused. Naruto wasn't sure how he could keep his chakra close by because there was so much of it and he very well couldn't hold it all. Wait maybe he could as a thought crossed his mind, he made the hand sign once more and focused on wrapping it around him like he would to ramen on chopsticks just keep rotating it until its all wrapped. Naruto closed his eyes once more as the chakra began to flow around himself in its usual blue. It began at first like normal before it started to expand out and pulse as it started to take on a solid shape as each pulse of chakra grew stronger. Naruto was barely visible when the blueish ball began to stain with red as the kyuubi's chakra mixed once more. The ball of chakra suddenly made a loud violent noise as the wind picked up and got sucked in as a small tornado began to spin around and up around Naruto in red.

Sandual wasn't sure what to do as he could feel the air trying to pull him into the twister as it became more violent and tree branches began to snap and break flying into and out as deadly projectiles. Suddenly a loud grinding noise was heard as the ground beneath naruto shattered and indented creating a small crater and the sounds of trees being uprooted and flung into other objects became quite noticeable.

Sandual tried to yell but his words were carried off and the chakra was a blood red color as a KI began to be detectable to him as the wind suddenly stopped and all the debris flew everywhere. Naruto was shaking and sweating and had a bit of blood dripping from his nose with two red tails made of chakra wrapped around him hugging him tightly.

Naruto wasn't sure what happened as he started to wrap the chakra around himself like he would ramen but he was sure it was working until he could barely see through it anymore and at that point realized that he was more or less swimming. He tried to stop the hand sign but it felt like his hands were stuck together as more and more chakra poured out of him. And with a moment of fear he started to lean forward and attempt to bite himself. It was as his face moved only a few inches he felt a warmth on his hand and could see red chakra begin to pour out and in his mind heard Kivira tell him to relax and let this moment happen.

Naruto was terrified but he obeyed and allowed her to take control and overwhelm his chakra with hers as the ball of blue became red and spun even faster. A loud grinding sound could be heard as the ground beneath him began to crumble and break beneath his feet as he felt himself starting to fall inch by inch into the ground. The sound of loud crashes and the unusual connection towards nature made Naruto feel sad as trees were uprooted and flung about.

Suddenly he felt a hot sensation run all over his body as all the chakra wrapped around him and held him tightly. He could see Sandual, shock written all over his face as he stood there with debris all around him. Naruto was just as surprised by the destruction that was around him but also acutely aware to the fact that he had a bunch of chakra shrouding his body and what appeared to be two fox tails wrapped around him protectively.

Sandual stepped forward after coming out of his surprise and walked up to Naruto and eyed him square in the eye. "You have too much chakra as a kid but as a ninja you will be superb.

He put a hand on Narutos head and then pulled it away as he felt the sensation of burning meet him. He just shook his head in wonder, before pointing over to the open field.

"Lets call it a day and relax awhile" Sandual said as he started shuffling in that direction. Naruto was surprised at the change but followed suit since it had only been a hour since they had started. They arrived at the spot and Sandual just laid down on the grass and stared up at the sky, Naruto just copied him and was unsure of why they weren't training. He could only manage 10 minutes of silently sitting before he blurted out "Why aren't we training…?"

"We are squid we are, relax and just take in everything around you, its a nice day out why waste it?" Sandual mumbled sleepily as he continued his starring.

"But what good does this do me to just lie here staring at the sky?" Naruto grumbled as he was trying hard to do as he was told but feeling impatient on learning anything.

"Stick your hand in the air" Sandual said as he put his hand up, Naruto followed suit and kept it up for a minute or so before he tried to lower it.

"Keep it up" Sandual barked and Naruto instantly straightened his arm out again. It was only a few minutes later as his arm began to tingle from gravity that he felt a breeze blow by and out of the corner of his eye see Sandual's hand glow lightly in chakra as a rope like line of it floated around in the air. Naruto hadn't an idea in the word of what he was doing but he could see his chakra start to spread out merging with the air before Sandual lazily swung his arm and the thin mass of air moved where he directed it. The blue mass floated passed Naruto's hand in the same manner as a breeze would and he was awed by it.

"How do you do that?" He asked as he tried to add his own chakra to the mix.

"It's something that will take practice but it is a strong basis for most of my jutsus so once you learn this everything else will most likely come naturally, just relax and try to feel the connection you have with the wind. That is what we will practice for the rest of the day."

They spent the next 12 hours with a lunch break in between just lying around letting the world roll by as lazily as the wind. Kivira was content and happy with the progress made today, She was able to get two tails of the fox cloak around Naruto without any problems. She smiled as she felt all of the nature around her living and moving forward in a peaceful moment of time. "Naruto I have faith that you will bring balance back to this world." she thought as she closed her eyes and took a nap.

My apologies on my long absence, my harddrive died so I lsot all of my story because I was a fool and didnt back anything up. I finally got a new desktop last weekend and spent this week between work and other obligations writing so here we go lets get back into this. Sorry its so short but I spent alot of time trying to remember the original piece and this is the jiist if not what i had envisioned originally.
