CHAPTER 17
A/N: Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter! Sorry this is really short. It's basically just a filler. You don't even have to read it to know what is going on in the next chapter. If I put it all into one chapter, then that will just be confusing, and TOO long... Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Kickin It or anything else that I mention (I own the plot and any OCs)
After making her phone calls, Kim went back downstairs. She found Jack sprawled out on the couch with his legs on the coffee table, watching television. Kim cleared her throat. "I see a mannerless person with his feet on a coffee table that was just cleaned by a girl that is standing next to him." She said sarcastically. "Oh really? Who?" Jack teased while taking his feet off the table. Kim chuckled and plopped down next to him. "You can go out Friday night. I made a few phone calls and got in touch with some old friends. We are going to have a girls night."
"Promise me that you will pick up my phone calls. I am going to call WHENEVER I get too worried. Even if you are in the bathroom, you need to pick up. Or I will be on my way. And if you cannot get to your cell phone in time, call me right back." Jack said seriously. "Yes father. But I think that you are worrying too much. You are acting like an overprotective dad." Kim said while rolling her eyes. "Come on, Kim. You need to understand how dangerous this world is. Jude and his gang are after you. They will be watching your every move. They will be predicting what you do. If they get you, they kill you." Jack said.
Kim nodded. "I have seen it happen before. I won't let it happen again. If Jude gets his hands on you when you are alone, you are done for." Jack said. "Alright. I get it." Kim said. "Now what do you want to do?" Jack asked. "How about... Homework. We have a ton of it." Kim said, getting her backpack. She took out her math textbook and placed it on the coffee table infront of them. "Oh come on! I'm tired of homework." Jack pouted. Kim smiled. "Just do it! Your already super smart. You have done this stuff over and over for hundreds of years!" Kim said. Jack rolled his eyes.
"Okay. Well now you are just making me feel old." He said. Kim giggled. She then widened her eyes. "Oh my gosh! You just made me giggle!" Kim exclaimed. She hit him in the arm. Hard. But he didn't even wince! Oh yeah. I forgot. He is a vampire. I can't hurt him -.- Kim thought. Jack chuckled, reading her thoughts.
He too got out his books. He got out a pencil and picked up a paper and his textbook. Kim turned around to get her pencil. She turned back and her jaw dropped. Jack's paper and books were beside him in a neat pile. She looked at the paper. All the answers were on it. "It's not fair that you get super speed and intellagence. It's just not fair. And you were complaining about homework. It takes like five seconds for you! Literally!" Kim said while pouting. Jack just simply gave a proud smile.
Kim finished all of her homework. The pair did almost nothing except talk and watch tv. They just sat there, enjoying each others company. They ordered pizza and the delivery guy earned a five dollar tip along with a death glare from Jack because he was looking at Kim and thinking about her in 'the wrong way.' "I'm going to bed. See you in the morning." Kim said to Jack. "Alright." Jack simply replied. "Sweet dreams." He said.
Kim smiled back and went to her bedroom. It was in tip top shape. She made sure the window was closed. She looked around the room. Wait why am I looking around? She questioned herself. She went to the light switch and turned it off. She got into bed and got under the covers. Her back relaxed and she got comfortable. That's when she dozed off into a dreamless sleep.
