Winter break was just around the corner. Simply put, there was only a week of finals in the way and a few days of work to get through. Not to mention the Christmas event at the company. Anna tried to look at the upside of it but no matter what she told herself finals week was always dreadful.

The weekend went quicker than usual, much to her dislike. Spending it with Elsa was what made it fun and special and it was also the reason why she wasn't looking forward to the upcoming busy week. But she had to stay positive, after that week she would get Elsa all to herself and she would no longer have to pretend in front of her parents about being in a relationship. Of course she didn't know whether Elsa still wanted to go back home with her or whether she should be honest with her parents about what really happened. She had to think about it and she also had to discuss it with Elsa. But that would have to wait because the most important thing in that moment was getting through that first final; it wasn't the hardest but a final was a final.

She'd stop by a convenience store earlier to stack up for a week's worth of red bull, god knows she was going to need it. Sure, she was used to going to bed at whatever time she pleased but staying up to study was a different story. She wondered how Elsa managed to do it, that girl really seemed to have everything under control all the time. Anna smiled to herself as the blonde crossed her mind. She was sitting in the lecture hall, waiting for the professor to arrive and she found herself thinking about Elsa. Well, not Elsa in particular but rather their situation. She noticed how, lately, she found herself thinking about the blonde more frequently, even when she didn't even mean to.

She also thought about their date over the past weekend, for the fourth time that morning, and how much fun Elsa had had. What she really couldn't get off her head, however, was Elsa's slip during their short interaction. Had Elsa actually meant to call her her girlfriend? For a second she hated thinking about that particular subject because it made her feel guilty. Elsa was giving her her all, showing her even more than she believed she could be capable off and yet Anna couldn't make up her mind about what she really wanted. Of course she knew what she wanted, she wanted Elsa. Samantha was a story of the past and she wasn't going back to that. Anna was afraid, and she knew it. She knew it and she hated it because Elsa had more right to be afraid than her. The girl who had always known rejection from even the closest members of her family was willing to give it all to Anna but somehow the redhead was the one who was hesitant. She knew that the instant when Elsa and herself finally decide to give themselves a chance, there could be a possibility that everything could go wrong and she didn't want to risk it. She didn't want to lose what they had now. She was afraid of moving forward because for some reason, according to her, doom was inevitable.

But no matter, Elsa deserved the opportunity so she had to make up her mind. If Elsa wanted her and if she wanted Elsa then there was no reason why they shouldn't be together. She decided she needed to stop making things more complicated than they were; she needed to let Elsa know she had made up her mind... No. Her mind was made up a long time ago. She needed to let her know that she was ready.

"Phones away, notes away. Clear your areas except for your pencils and scantrons." The female voice shook Anna of her thoughts and her busy first day began.

Elsa felt someone tap her shoulder lightly and decided to ignore it, not making much of it. She kept walking but whoever was trying to get her attention seemed to be persistent. She was forced to finally stop walking and turn around when that person finally held on to her arm and pulled her back. Of course only Ygrette would be so desperate for her attention.

"Ygrette?" Elsa asked, a hint of confusion in her tone.

"You can make it a habit of answering my calls sometimes." She responded.

Elsa stared at her, contemplating the brunette's plan of conviction. "We both know the reason for your calls and for this...invasion. My answer is no."

"Elsa, all you've said is no. You have not been willing to listen to the details, do this for dad."

"Do this for dad? Ygrette, nothing that I do changes the way he sees me. You know he considers me nothing but a tool he can use for his convenience. You know it's always been that way..." She intended to at least sound angry but her resolve disappeared somewhere down the end.

"Not always..." Ygrette tried a different approach. Elsa had to agree, her father had made it her mission to convince her sister and she would do it.

Elsa's features softened which made Ygrette think she was finally getting somewhere. "Exactly my point, no matter what I do, my father will never change his opinion about me."

"Perhaps it's a chance that you have to take?"

Elsa shook her head, "I'm not doing it. Even if he makes my life hell, I'm not doing it."

"Okay," Ygrette said after a silence. "Don't do it for him then, or me. Forget about the variables and do it for the company."

Elsa stared at the ground for a few seconds, trying to wrap her head around the situation. "See, here's what I don't understand... Why is it so important for me to be involved in this? Why can't it be you or someone else?"

Ygrette was not ready for Elsa's question. She, herself, had not given it much thought, she only cared about doing whatever her father asked but failed to understand, or rather question, her father's motives. "Maybe he wants to mend things with you-"

"We both know that's not the reason. He did say a third individual had asked for me to be involved." She interrupted before Ygrette had a chance to finish. She also didn't want to mention Hans right away, needing to test her sister and find out how much she really knew.

"Look Elsa, does it all matter? Just forget about the reasons behind it and listen to the proposal, you don't have to agree but at least listen to it, will you?"

"I'll think about it."

Hans had been sitting in his office for what seemed like hours now. On any other occasion he would have simply cancelled the meeting but he forced himself to make an exception this time. He knew Adgar Arendelle was used to getting what he wanted and if he successfully wanted to conduct business with him, he had to give in.

He had spend months planning his strategy carefully and he wasn't about to let it all go to waste. If today's meeting went according to plan, only a few more steps would need to be taken to close the deal. He was sure that Adgar suspected nothing about his true intentions and he guessed that Elsa would be easily convinced to be part of his game. She would be merely another piece in his strategy and if the Arandelle family could not convince her to join, he would have to. Elsa was slowly falling into his trap so surely she would side with him after Arendelle Corp. fell into his hands.

"Mr. Arendelle has arrived sir," his secretary buzzed in.

"Let him in," he stood up and approached the big doors that led to the reception area of North Aim.

Adgar showed up not long after the notice, nodding his head as Hans welcomed him in. He looked around, perhaps judging and finally sat across Hans' desk. "I hope I haven't kept you long."

"Not too long," Hans poured him a drink. "You did prevent me from attending a boring meeting, so thanks for that."

The man laughed as he took the drink. "I take it you haven't talked to my daughter if you arranged this meeting then?"

"That's correct." Hans sat in his chair and looked for an envelope under a stack of papers. "I told you I wouldn't mention anything to her unless it was absolutely necessary but you do understand that in order for this not to raise suspicions, she must be involved. She is the connection that will keep this from blowing over."

"It's quite clear Mr. Westerguard." Adgar gulped down his drink, "my other daughter and myself have attempted to get her involved but so far she has denied all attempts. I'm not sure what your relationship is with her but you two work together so I don't see why she would not listen to you."

"I was hoping it wouldn't come to that, but I will do what I can. You can rest assured that it will be done, take my word for it."

Adgar smiled, clearly satisfied with what he was hearing but obviously unaware that Hans was playing him by pretending to play his own company. In truth, Hans was playing both entities. If everything proceeded as he planned, both Arendelle Corp. and North Aim would be under his reign but of course that would only be possible with Elsa.

"Make sure she knows that the only way she will be able to keep this job is if she accepts our offer."

Hans thought about it before offering a response. He knew that approach wouldn't work. Elsa knew him as a polite, and hopefully honest, person so he had to play his cards right but he couldn't argue against Adgar either.

"I have the perfect plan. You can be assured that in no time at all, both companies will be linked, Mr. Arendelle. Now," he handed him the envelope, "as far as Oaken and the rest of the administration know, you're only here talking to me regarding certain inquiries about your profession but from now onward we shall meet at the location on the envelope. It's all for the sake of suspicion of course."

Adgar eyed the envelope, placed it inside his blazer and stood up. "I understand perfectly. Keep me informed if any issues arise."

Anna stood before her dorm door. After a long day with her study group, all she needed was a nap. In any other day she would have preferred a distraction, any distraction, but the end of the semester meant she had to get her priorities straight and study her ass off.

As she turned the knob, her determination on taking a nap and not let anything get on the way of that grew stronger. But oh, she was so, very wrong.

She entered the room only to find Elsa sitting in bed, one leg propped against her chest with her arm around it and the other crossed on the bed. A blue button down, which was almost unbuttoned all the way except for the lower three buttons, lay loosely on her, displaying a blonde and somewhat fragile, yet delicious collarbone.

Her long, blonde hair was picked up into a messy bun, allowing Anna a better view of her neck. A few seconds had passed, but Anna knew her mouth had been opened for longer than that. She could say something, but nothing would distract Elsa's concentration. The blonde was set on reading a book.

Typical, Anna thought.

But oh god, that face... And that expression... Can she get any more attractive?

And those legs...

If it weren't for my obvious attraction to her I'd probably be super jealous.

"I know you're staring," Elsa's affirmative voice halted her train of thought.

"Uh... Oh yeah? Maybe I was just thinking." Anna said nervously, closing the door behind her and settling her stuff on the bed.

"What were you thinking about?" Elsa asked, amused. She loved testing the redhead but she loved seeing her blush the most, and this was one of those moments.

"Umm... That book you're reading." Anna half smiled.

Elsa put the book down immediately and took off her glasses. "What about it?"

"It... It, uh, seems interesting."

Damn it, Anna. Are you going to start stuttering now?

"You don't even know what book I'm reading." Elsa challenged.

"Well.. Uh.. I-every book you read is interesting, I suppose." Anna had to turn around and pretend to look for something in her bag to avoid Elsa staring at her now red face.

"And you were thinking about it?" Elsa asked sarcastically, "Anna, I know you very well and that wasn't your thinking face. I might have been wearing glasses but I still have peripheral vision."

Well, so much for trying.

Anna turned around to face the blonde. She was surprised to see a smirk on Elsa's face, the older girl obviously knew she'd won. Anna sighed. "Fine," she said groaning. "You caught me."

Elsa shook her head in disbelief, although glad she got Anna to admit she had been caught distracted. "Say it," she added.

Anna cocked an eyebrow, confused. "Say what?"

"Say that you were staring..." Elsa couldn't hide her grin any longer.

"Oh, that's how it is, huh?" Anna asked, walking to Elsa's side. "You're irresistible and you know it."

"Well it doesn't hurt to hear it," Elsa didn't bother to take her eyes off the redhead as she walked towards her, not that she could anyway.

Anna sat, legs crossed, face to face in front of Elsa. Neither could stop smiling at the other at that point. "I could repeat it countless times, Elsa. It's the truth."

Elsa bit her lower lip. "I could say the same to you but," she paused, looking for something on her desk. "Before we digress, I want to show you something."

"Oh? What is it?" Anna's expression quickly changed from lust to excitement. Her mouth curved upward, displaying the biggest grin Elsa had ever seen, and rubbing her palms together.

"Oh it's nothing big, I want you to listen to something," Elsa said after noticing Anna's current state.

"No, no. Anything you have to show me is exciting. You're the least predictable person I know and I never know what to expect. I love that about you." Anna reassured her.

"Okay well," she found her phone and looked through it, "I want you to listen to this. It always made me think of you, it still does."

Anna only nodded, still smiling and the song began to play.

...

I had no idea that you're in deep.

I dreamt about you nearly every night this week.

How many secrets can you keep?

'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think of you somehow.

And I play it on repeat.

Until I fall asleep.

Spilling drinks on my settee.

Do I wanna know?

If this feeling flows both ways.

Sad to see you go.

Was sorta hoping that you'd stay.

Baby we both know.

That the nights were mainly made for saying things that you can't say tomorrow day.

Crawling back to you...

...

Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new.

Now I've thought it through.

...

Crawling back to you.

...

Do I wanna know?

If this feeling flows both ways.

Sad to see you go.

Was sorta hoping that you'd stay.

Baby we both know.

That the nights were mainly made for saying things that you can't say tomorrow day.

Crawling back to you.

...

"So?" Elsa asked, her face displaying an expression that could only be described as fear of disappointment.

Anna had her elbows on her knees and her chin on her hands. It was clear she had actually listened to the song, not just listened because it was on 'listened,' but rather paid attention to the words and their meaning.

"So?" She answered back.

"What do you think?" Elsa continued.

"I think you have very good taste in music."

Elsa rolled her eyes as Anna only smiled. "Tell me something I don't know," Elsa joked but continued. "Did you like it?"

Anna nodded, "I see, I mean, I understand how you felt. I just wish I knew sooner." She placed her arm on Elsa's shoulder, decreasing the distance between the two somewhat.

"I wish I had told you sooner, too. After all, it's not like you would have told me how you felt after what I did when you kissed me. I still feel pretty bad about it, now that the feeling is mutual." Elsa frowned.

"It's okay, Elsa. What matters is that we know how we feel about each other now." She rubbed her hand on Elsa's upper arm, making small circles every now and then. "I just want to know something though?"

Anna sensed Elsa's body become a bit rigid. "Wh-what is it?"

Anna kept smiling until she finally responded, "will you be crawling back to me?" Her smile turned into a smirk and the small distance that had separated the two was slowly disappearing until they were practically hugging.

Anna kissed the right side of Elsa's lips and planted slow, soft kisses on her cheek as she moved towards her ear. "Crawling back to me, and not in the way that you think," she whispered seductively on Elsa's ear, then pulled away suddenly. Elsa was flushed. Anna never knew a person could turn a deeper red, but then again, no one was as pale as Elsa.

They remained like that for a while. Anna didn't bother saying anything.

She suddenly felt Elsa's fingers grasp on her shirt as the blonde pulled her closer to her, their lips finding the other's. They were soft and not a lot of contact was involved at first, as if for some reason speeding things up would ruin the moment. But it was inevitable, they craved each other's contact and each kiss lasted longer, each breath lingered on the other's skin, planting the need for affection and the seed of attraction.

"Anna..." Elsa breathed. She kissed the redhead desperately, as if it was now or never, as if for some reason Anna wouldn't give her what she wanted.

Anna kissed back, running her fingers on Elsa's sides. The movements of the fabric of her button down were heard as it shifted up and down, along with Anna's hands. She had wanted this for a long time as well, who was she to deny Elsa? Anna stepped back to look at Elsa. The innocent, serious look on her face was no longer there. The sexiest woman Anna had ever seen was now in front of her. Her breathing had become faster and her body heat had definitely changed.

And those eyes... Wow, those eyes...

Anna didn't need to say anything, she merely continued. She went in for Elsa's jawline this time, taking her time to explore the area. There was something about Elsa's skin that made her want to remain there longer but at the same time explore every single inch of her body.

Elsa held to the other girl's slim back as the redhead did her thing. Anna became aware of Elsa's panting as she did. "Elsa?" She called.

"Hmm?" Elsa was either too into it or did not want to interrupt with a longer response.

"This shirt needs to go," Anna said as she pulled on either side of the collar.

Elsa heard the words but processed them later than she should, and why was pulling away from Anna so hard anyway? She struggled to find the hem of the shirt and finally the buttons. Despite wanting to get rid of it as fast as she could, the buttons refused to collaborate with her.

"Wow Elsa, I never saw you struggle so much before?" Anna teased and laughed at the blonde.

Elsa couldn't believe Anna had stopped touching her just to stare, "shut up and help me with this."

"They're just buttons, you know?" The redhead began to follow Elsa's actions with the shirt.

"Well, maybe this is just what you do to me. I can't function," she ran her fingers on Anna's hair and down the back of her neck as the redhead leaned down to concentrate on the buttons. "Did I ever tell you how much I love your freckles?" Her fingers made their way to Anna's back and attempted to trace every freckle.

"No but if you don't stop doing that I'm just going to have to rip this shirt," Anna continued.

Elsa didn't say anything for a while, too distracted with the task at hand, apparently she hadn't even noticed when Anna had taken off her clothes, save for her bra and panties. "I won't stop you," Elsa said.

"You should have told me that before..." Anna stood back up, sliding Elsa's shirt of her shoulders and tossing it on the chair.

Everything seemed so right and natural, they both seemed to forget all the tension they had had when they first met. Elsa laughed, "I never thought a simple shirt would get on the way of this."

Anna pushed herself closer to Elsa, her hands now ran over the blonde's back, caressing every side and finally making their way to the hooks of her bra. She found a weak spot while kissing Elsa's shoulder softly until she reached her lower neck, the nook were her collarbone and neck met. The blonde gasped and emitted a light moan as she grabbed onto Anna's hair and pulled a bit. Anna's inner victory cheer was back. She proceeded to unhook her own bra and then push Elsa back into the bed's headboard.

"You're staring again," Elsa said, although this time not accusatory but encouraging. Anna had stopped doing whatever she had intended to do to stare at Elsa's figure, more importantly, her perky breasts. The older girl leaned forward into Anna, grabbed her neck and pulled her back with her for a kiss.

Having Anna hovering above her made her feel a certain way. The redhead's loose hair lingered on top of Elsa's chest, and the way her hands were placed around Elsa's body didn't give her much room for movement, making Elsa feel as if Anna was the one in control, somehow that turned her on even more.

Time seemed to be going faster than usual and then slow, one thing was for sure, they had both lost track of it. Not that either cared, anyway. Elsa was too busy trying to process what Anna would do to her. This was one of the few times that anticipation and not knowing what awaited actually excited her. Anna, on the other hand, decided to pay meticulous attention to Elsa's breasts. Carefully caressing each one and occasionally pinching her nipple until she got a satisfactory response from the blonde.

Red hair, teal eyes and a lot of freckles managed to hypnotize a certain blonde. The skin to skin contact had given her goose bumps and had her craving more. She loved the feeling Anna gave her and she wanted to do the same for her but she wasn't as experienced as the redhead and she knew for sure that Anna had high expectations what with Samantha and other previous relationships.

Samantha...

The girl's name lingered on her brain longer than it should have. Here she was trying to give Anna all her attention but she just couldn't shake it off. Everything felt wrong all of the sudden. She really wanted Anna, she needed her touch but not that way. She needed to make sure that Anna was also a hundred percent sure of what she wanted.

And perhaps Anna noticed the way Elsa's eyebrows furrowed because she stopped kissing and rubbing her hands all over her, she now stared intently into Elsa's blue eyes. "What's wrong?" She pulled back.

Elsa bit her lip, not wanting to break the contact but also no longer willing to go on. She didn't know if she was jealous or simply unsure but she did find the situation quite unfair. As far as she knew, Anna and herself were nothing more than roommates and she wouldn't just sleep around with her roommate. She needed something serious. "I'm sorry, I can't do this."

The redhead's stare became more intense which caused Elsa to doubt herself even more, not to mention the guilt she felt. She had previously confronted Anna for being a tease and now it turns out, she was the one teasing the girl.

"Okay, that's fine. I get it." Anna got up to find her clothes and Elsa knew she would regret the view she was currently having.

"D-do you?"

"I mean, no I don't really understand but I get that you don't want to do this."

"I'm just... I'm just not ready," the blonde shifted her eyes all over the place now trying to avoid Anna's gaze. She wondered whether she said something wrong because Anna suddenly stopped looking for whatever it was she was looking for.

"Elsa, you showed me that you're ready so that's not it. You were into it as much, if not more, than I was."

"That's not what I meant." Her voice lowered and Anna sighed.

"Okay," she half smiled but Elsa wasn't satisfied. She felt like she owed her an explanation.

"Just okay?"

"You don't have to explain yourself to me, Elsa. You must have your reasons and I'll respect them... If you're not ready, if you've never done this before, if... I can't really think of anything else."

"If I don't want to do this until I'm sure that the only thing you want is me." The blonde didn't intend for that to come out of her mouth, but she said it before she could stop herself.

"So that's what it is. I see."

In that moment, Elsa wanted to disappear and not speak of that particular subject but part of her found it necessary to get it over with. Anna had to know what had driven her decision, or at least she had to know her motives. She had to put some boundaries.

"Yes, that's what it is." She gave in.

"It's Sam, isn't it?" Anna didn't know whether she should be confused, annoyed or upset. Elsa nodded. "I thought I made myself pretty clear about that..."

"Yet you keep going back to her."

"Elsa... Are you- are you jealous?"

The blonde remained silent for a while, she was indeed jealous but that wasn't the whole issue. "I have no right to be jealous, Anna. I'm not your girlfriend after all."

"Hmm..."

Getting a proper response from Anna would be harder than she imagined, were relationships usually that hard? In any other, she wouldn't have cared whether the other person gave an appropriate response but she had soon learned that with Anna she had experienced the first of many things. What she had with her was completely different from what she'd had with others and she cared too much for the redhead to expect nothing less than reciprocation.

Elsa was good at controlling her emotions, at keeping it cool and not allowing herself to get insulted, much less hurt. It was extremely hard to do that with Anna. The redhead was the only one capable of hurting her and making her feel a complete spectrum of emotions, she both loved and hated that fact.

"This is not the way I imagined we would be having this conversation." Anna spoke again.

"What do you mean? You actually thought we'd be having this conversation?"

"Well not really... I was actually meaning to ask you whether you were still willing to come home with me for Christmas?"

"Oh?" Elsa seemed a bit disappointed at the change of direction the conversation had taken. "Umm, yeah. If your family will have me I will love to come."

"Great! You know they will and... I was hoping..." Speaking and formulating sentences became, all of the sudden, very difficult. Elsa listened intently, although somewhat impatiently. "I was hoping this time you would come back home with me as my actual girlfriend? No more pretending and playing around."

Elsa's hint of anxiety was replaced by warmth. She didn't think Anna would bring it up so soon either, figuring the redhead might need additional time to think about it but she wasn't complaining, she was glad at the very least.

"I thought you'd never ask but why wait till then if I can call you mine as of now?"

Anna laughed and was about to say something but was interrupted by the ringing of her phone. "You might want to put some clothes on, by the way." She winked at the blonde and it wasn't till then that Elsa noticed her current state of nudity. She laughed internally, thinking that Anna must have enjoyed that view for a while.

AN: I intended this chapter to be up last night but I fell asleep before that happened. Anyway, some of you might be aware of this, particularly those who follow me on Tumblr, I made a post regarding my busy schedule now that school has begun once again. I will try to do weekend updates, but don't kill me if I don't!

I still haven't decided how many chapters this story will be, my guess is around 40, not sure if I mentioned that already.

I haven't had a chance to reply to your reviews yet but I will do so today so keep on reviewing/criticizing/recommending!
