Everyone woke up in excitement, it was the wedding day. The lady servants pushed Belle and Sapphire into their dressing room and the male servants pushed Adam and Sagittarius into their dressing room while Queen Henrietta made sure everything went where they needed to be in the castle chapel. Belle and Sapphire quickly went into the tub before the servants put them there themselves. The two brides really didn't a chance to clean themselves because the female servants were doing it for them.
"Don't you think you are taking it too far?" Belle asked before the servants poured water over her head.
"We have to get the two of you squeaky clean so the light will reflect off your skin and dresses!" Claudette, the former dresser, said putting shampoo in her hands. she then went to wash Belle's hair. Belle only groaned as she looked over at Sapphire. Poor Sapphire, even though she was out of her tub, the servants were brushing her blood-red hair to the point they were pulling it.
"Ow! Stop!" Sapphire shouted, but it fell on deaf ears. It wasn't long until it was Belle's turn to get out of the tub and had her hair brushed. While Belle and Sapphire were having their hair 'brushed', five more ladies came in the dressing room. Three of them were Tintement, Belle's cousin, Stephanie, Sapphire's cousin, and Mrs. Potts. The other two women were Veronica and Lydia in disguise and under the names 'Vivian' and 'Lyla'. The four ladies weren't too happy about what they heard in the powder room.
"What in heaven's name is going on in there?" Tintement said as she walked up to the door, which was a bad idea because as she as got close to the door, it swung open and hit her in the face. It was Belle, covered by a towel, who opened the door, but when she saw her cousin, she felt very bad.
"Tintement, are you okay?" She asked.
"I'll be fine." Tintement said.
"Mistress, get back here!" Claudette shouted, "I'm not done!" But Belle didn't go back into the powder room, she just quickly went behind Mrs. Potts' back. When Belle hid behind Mrs. Potts, Sapphire soon came running out of the powder room and hid behind her cousin's back.
"What's the meaning of this!" Mrs. Potts shouted as Claudette, Babette and some of the other female servants came out.
"We were just helping them get ready, Mrs. Potts." Claudette said, "Don't you like their hair?"
"We don't!" Belle and Sapphire shouted at the same time.
"Claudette, this is a wedding! Not one of your opera shows!" Mrs. Potts boomed, Lydia and Veronica stayed out of it because Lydia knew that Mrs. Potts would settle the matter. "Now, let's get back into this, this wedding!"
"I wonder how the girls are doing?" Sagittarius asked Adam as they were putting on their wedding suits.
"I hope they're doing all right." Adam said.
"I'm sure they're fine, sire." Lumiere said, helping his master smooth his suit out.
"I can't believe this day has finally come." Sagittarius said, "I've been waiting for this day for quite some time."
"So have I," Adam said, "I thought this day would never ever come."
"Yes, sire." Cogsworth said, standing in front of the dressing room doors. "There have been times where any of us thought we would never see this day come."
"Also on our end as well," Brimley said, sweeping off his master's silver boots. "I'm also referring to...before this happened."
"You usually do, Brimley." Sagittarius said looking at him, "I wasn't trying to be picky."
"I know, sire." Brimley said, "I'm only remarking."
"Would you, men, leave the two of us alone for the moment?" Sagittarius asked Brimley, Cogsworth and Brimley. The three servants looked at each other and then left the dressing room.
"What's on your mind, cousin?" Adam asked.
"I didn't mean for Brimley to bring up what happened before we were cursed." Sagittarius said, grabbing a brush for Adam. "It's my fault that happened to you."
"Sagittarius, it wasn't your fault." Adam said, brushing his hair with the brush his cousin gave him. "I was the spoiled, selfish; unkind brat."
"But I was the one who broke my promise to you and Aunt Lydia." Sagittarius added, "If I hadn't thrown that glass pipe at the door, you wouldn't have run away from me...and become cursed in the first place." Adam could tell that Sagittarius was beating himself up about it.
"Cousin, would Uncle Randolph and my mother want you to beat yourself continuously about what happened in the past?" Adam asked, Sagittarius raised his head and looked at his cousin. "I don't think they would want you to do that. They know you're sorry, you must know that as well, so stop beating yourself up and be happy. Both curses are gone and the two of us are going to marry the women that loves us."
"And that we love back." Sagittarius smiled as he and Adam put their crowns on their heads. Just then, there was a knock on the dressing room doors. Cogsworth and Brimley came in.
"Sires, it's almost time." Cogsworth said, Adam and Sagittarius looked at each other, smiled and followed Cogsworth and Brimley down to the chapel.
"This is much better." Mrs. Potts said as she kept a watchful eye on Claudette and Babette as they carefully dress Belle and Sapphire in their wedding dresses. While Mrs. Potts chewed out Claudette, Babette and the other female servants, Lydia, Veronica, Tintement and Stephanie helped Belle and Sapphire finish getting ready. While getting ready, Tintement revealed to Belle that Veronica told her and Maurice that she was alive and a sorceress. Belle was proud of her mother finally telling the truth to her father and Tintement.
"I'm glad the two of you came, Stephanie." Sapphire said to her cousin.
"You really didn't think we would miss out of this, did you?" Stephanie asked.
"I certainly wasn't going to miss my cousin's wedding." Tintement remarked, Belle could tell that her cousin was starting a nitpick.
"Tintement, please, this is not a contest." Belle pushed.
"I wasn't trying to make one," Tintement said, "just because it sounded like it, didn't mean I was going to." Veronica just rolled her eyes, Tintement hadn't changed since the last time she saw her. Just then, the door knocked. Mrs. Potts went over to the door and opened it, she saw it was Queen Henrietta, holding her hands behind her back. She immediately let her inside.
"Wow," Henrietta said as she saw Belle and Sapphire, "I hope Adam and Sagittarius don't fall in front of the priestess."
"Priestess?" Mrs. Potts asked, "What happened to the priest that was here for the master's coronation?"
"He couldn't stay long," Henrietta answered, "I found a priestess who was willing to do the wedding."
"That will be different." Claudette said tying the bow on Belle's dress. Mrs. Potts gave her a stern look which made Claudette quickly shut her mouth.
"Would you ladies mind if I spoke with Sapphire alone for a moment?" Henrietta asked the female servants, the servants agreed, but Lydia and Veronica wanted Belle alone for a few moments because they wanted to speak with her as well. So the two of them took Belle to a different room while Henrietta and Sapphire had the dressing room to themselves.
"What is it you need to talk to me about, Henrietta?" Sapphire asked, Henrietta brought her hands from behind and she was holding a decorated box. She opened it and pulled out a decorated silver crown with a veil attached to it.
"I...wore this when I married Sagittarius' father." Henrietta explained, "I understand that this is your mother's dress that you're wearing, but I would like to ask you if you will wear this. Besides...it customary for the bride of royalty to wear a tiara." Sapphire just couldn't believe what she heard out of her future mother-in-law, Henrietta wanted her to wear her tiara that she married Randolph in.
"It would a great honor to wear your tiara, Henrietta." Sapphire replied.
"Okay, you two, what's so important?" Belle asked as she was now alone with her mother and Lydia. Lydia twirled her hands around; magic sparkles started to appear. With a small burst of magic, a white box appeared in Lydia's hands. Veronica opened the box and pulled out something strange, Belle thought it looked like a cross between a crown and a spring hat with a very long veil down the back.
"Believe it or not," Veronica said, "I wore this spring hat when I married your father, Belle."
"But we know that a prince's bride needs to wear a crown for it to be customary." Lydia added, "So I made this silver crown to go with your mother's spring hat. I found it better to wear this crown rather the crown that I and many other women in Henry's family wore." Belle couldn't take her eyes off the crown that her mother and Lydia made for her. Veronica then put the crown on her daughter's head, trying hard not to cry.
"I wish there was some way to thank the two of you, especially you, Lydia." Belle said, Lydia just smiled.
"Don't worry about it." Lydia answered, "All I ask is that you treat my son well."
"You know I will...Lydia." Belle said, trying hard not to cry herself. What Belle didn't know was that her mother and Lydia placed special charms in her wedding dress and the tiara. Just then, there was a knock on the door. Belle quickly opened it and saw Mrs. Potts.
"It's just about time, Mistress." Mrs. Potts said, "Shall we head downstairs?" Belle nodded her head as she left the room. Sapphire was standing outside the dressing room with Henrietta standing next to her. She was also wearing the tiara that Henrietta asked her to wear. Mrs. Potts took Belle and Sapphire to Maurice and James, Sapphire's uncle, as Henrietta took the female servants, including Veronica and Lydia, downstairs to the rest of the guests.
When Mrs. Potts reached Maurice and James, the two men couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Belle and Sapphire. Mrs. Potts soon left them to get themselves together.
"Oh Belle." Maurice said, "You look more beautiful than your mother did when she wore that dress."
"Papa, don't cry please." Belle begged, "I'll ruin my makeup."
"Both of us." Sapphire said.
"Hard not to." James added, "You look just like your mother, Sapphire...only without the..."
"I know, don't worry uncle." Sapphire said; then another female servant came out with flowers in both hands.
"I believe it is customary for brides to have these down the aisle." The woman said, handing the two bouquets to the two brides. The two ladies took their bouquets and the female servant quickly left. In Belle's bouquet, she saw different roses making a ring. Blue, then pink, then white and dead center was a deep red rose. In Sapphire's bouquet, she saw different flowers, lilies, baby's breath, petunias and tulips, but the most remarkable...was a glass pink rose in the middle.
"I should've known." Sapphire thought to herself. Just then, the four of them heard the piano playing 'Here Comes The Bride'. Sapphire held onto her uncle's arm as Belle held her father's arm. Right on time, the doors to the chapel opened.
