Three months later.

The previous year could have been defined as an unexpected turn of events. Anna entered her sophomore year college seeking to find nothing but stability in her life. She never thought she'd end up falling in love with the girl she thought she hated. She also never thought things could be as great as they were.

Going back for spring semester was different. She had many more things to look forward to, the main one being Elsa. It was nice having someone who was honest, trustworthy and supportive. The classes they shared together were less dull (mainly because Anna failed to let Elsa concentrate in class), the time they spent apart was filled with assurance that they'd get to see the other very soon. When their school or work hours finally came to an end, they met up to grab dinner, headed to watch a movie or ended up cuddling in bed.

Of course they had their little arguments here and there, usually over little things, but after all they'd been through, they knew better than to let some insignificant matter ruin their days. Anna was usually the one to break the silence. She would either start laughing in the middle of an argument or plant an unexpected kiss on Elsa's lips. No matter what she chose, Elsa always gave in to her girlfriend.

The cold, chilly weather was long gone and spring break was fast approaching. Elsa had promised to reveal the location for the trip they had to postpone three months prior. Anna completely forgot about it until one day, Elsa came barging in through the door holding two confirmation flights for Barcelona, Spain. The redhead wished she could have captured Elsa's excitement then and there. It obviously meant so much to her, to both of them. Anna could finally get a break from her heavy course load and Elsa definitely deserved a break from work as well.

After the whole ordeal with Hans, Oaken took many liberties into making the girls feel at home at North Aim. Weselton's ties with the company were broken and Elsa obtained a permanent job within the company. But as much as Anna enjoyed her success, it was nice to finally have her indulge in some much needed free time.

The flight overseas was quite the ride. She never imagined she would be flying first class but one look at the girl next to her had her fill up with pride. Elsa was too distracted with something on her phone, but she must have noticed the redhead staring because she looked up for a second and found teal eyes staring at her with admiration. She offered a smile, one which Anna gladly accepted before leaning into Elsa's shoulder, pulling out her phone and taking a picture.

"Barcelona, here we come!"

Elsa's smile turned into the biggest grin.

The W Hotel in Barcelona, although unexpected, was also a great surprise. Turns out Elsa wasn't kidding when she said they'd be having their time of their lives. Little did she know, Anna was having hers for the past half year.

"It's all beautiful, Elsa. Thank you." Anna said as the both entered their room, arms intertwined, The view was fantastic. The beach on one side and the city on the other.

Elsa walked to one end of the room where she set down one of the bags she was carrying, then turned to give Anna one of those characteristic, smitten smiles of her. "I was hoping you'd say that. It's going to be a wonderful week."

"Wonderful and busy. It looks like there's so much to do in this city." Anna walked towards her, placed both hands around the back of Elsa's neck and kissed her.

What could have turned into a passionate, heated moment was halted by Anna's growling stomach. Elsa laughed at the random occurrence and insisted that they get some food. Of course, after the long trip they both decided it was best to order room service and stay in for the night. Not only had they been up for more than twenty hours to adjust to the time zone, but they also had to run some last minute errands before their flight. That didn't matter much, however, because at the end of the day the two girls were together, having an exotic dinner, some wine, and a pleasant conversation.

As the sun set, the lights began to come on, the moon illuminated the beach and the food came to an end, Anna and Elsa's eyelids began to get heavier and their bodies more tired, something which they attributed partly to the food. After a quick shower, which they both gladly shared, they put on something comfy and settled for bed.

"This bed is huge," Anna commented as soon as she got under the covers. Elsa was still trying to do who knows what with one of the bags but Anna was too tired to question her.

"Well, compared to the beds back at the dorm then yes, it's huge."

"Elsa Arendelle, are you joining me any time soon?" She yawned and stretched out as far as she could in the new bed.

"Oh? I was hoping you would sleep on the couch?" She gave Anna the most serious face and the latter threw a pillow sham her way.

"Come join me before I fall asleep." Anna kept on insisting and it seemed to have done the trick because suddenly she had Elsa's complete attention. The blonde jumped into the bed, landing halfway and placing her head on Anna's abdomen, holding onto and hugging her midsection.

"This is a really comfortable sleeping position. I might just use you as a pillow." Elsa murmured through Anna's shirt, which caused the latter to laugh.

"Stop! You're tickling me!" She begged. But Elsa didn't stop, not for a while at least.

Elsa stopped after deciding she had enough of Anna moving uncontrollably under her. She, herself, laid back and landed right next to Anna's side. She was looking at the redhead as if she were the most important thing in the world, the answer to the most difficult question, or the prayer said at night by the most hopefully person. Anna might as well have been like her highest priced possession.

"You're looking at me funny," Anna commented.

"And you're staring back." It was true, Anna was staring back and she was doing it as equally intense as Elsa was. They had come to learn that they could share so much just with the connection of their eyes. They had both come to develop each of the other's habits over time but if they were both being honest, understanding each other just by sharing glances is what they liked the most. At times, Anna would initiate a conversation with Elsa while at the same time seek eye contact. Once their eyes met, Anna would usually hold Elsa's stare for a while and then evade contact. That's when Elsa knew her girlfriend had had a bad day and would do anything in her power to make her feel better. Other times, the redhead's teal eyes were so profound and deep, and sincere, they had the capacity of being so honest and it spoke volumes to Elsa. It told her that Anna really loved her because it wasn't enough to say it anymore, Anna's love was evident through her eyes. Then there were also the times when their craving for each other's skin had them sharing an inevitable smile which would lead to the obvious meeting of eyes, their flickering movement down to the lips and the occasional bite followed by a smirk, which was more of Anna's move.

The look Anna was giving her right now was like never before - definitely hard to describe. It was observing and admiring. Most of all it was seeking and taking - insatiable. It was like Anna just couldn't get enough of Elsa. She wanted her, needed her if she was being honest. She needed her for life.

"Tell me something, Elsa," Anna began. Her voice was soothing, calm. "Do you ever think about where we will end up?"

Elsa hand reached up to caress Anna's cheek and then play with her hair. She held it there. "I think about it all the time." She noticed the way Anna's lips were brought up to a smile. "And honestly, thinking about that makes me so, so happy. The possibilities are endless. I love being with you and I want nothing more than that."

Anna closed her eyes as Elsa continued to play with her hair, rubbing circles and patterns over her scalp every now and then. "So you do think about me?"

"What makes you think otherwise?" Elsa questioned, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Well, you're usually very busy and I know you have a lot of things going through your head all the time... And your career also consumes a lot of it-"

"Have you ever wanted something so bad?" Elsa interrupted. "Or have you had some dream or goal that you thought was unattainable but you strive to achieve it, you really want it so you think about it every single day of your life because that's your ultimate wish? That's what you really want. And it's not only once or twice a day, nothing like that. You think about it several times and if you don't it still lingers there in the back of your mind, in your subconscious. It's there to remind you why you're doing what you're doing, that good things are yet to come. That's how it is with you. Yes, I may have other things to think about but you are infinite."

"You left me speechless," Anna's eyes wondered elsewhere. She had given up on trying to hide her blushing long ago, Elsa was too familiar with it.

"And I think we're both very sleepless so let's just get under the covers. We have a long day tomorrow." Elsa got up to allow Anna more freedom to move, not before planting a quick kiss on the tip of her nose.

The two did as planned and got under the covers, snuggled together as they tried to go to sleep. The latter was more difficult to achieve with all the talking Anna was doing about their plans for the week. It wasn't until an hour later that they fell asleep, holding onto each other.

The next day was more productive. Except in the morning when Elsa attempted to wake Anna at a "very early time." Elsa only smiled at the younger girl's refusal to get up and didn't seem to mind much that their day would be cut an hour short. In the meantime, she found the perfect opportunity to take pictures of Anna without her noticing as a form of payback for the number of candid photos Anna took of her all the time.

"Morning," was what Anna almost said as she yawned. Elsa sat on one of the sofas, reading one of the many books she had brought along with her.

"Finally." She put her book down and stood up to sit next to Anna on the bed.

"You look like you're going somewhere." The redhead batted her eyelids several times until she was finally able to clear her sight on Elsa.

"Well, I wasn't going to do nothing for an hour was I?" She leaned in and gave Anna a quick peck on her cheek.

"Where are we going?" She yawned again.

"I don't know about you but I could use some breakfast. We'll leave as soon as you're ready." Her hand caressed Anna's thigh over the duvet.

"I swear my life would be so much better if I was a morning person." She commented as she got up from bed.

"Mine would too."

Anna made her way into the bathroom, a certain sense of drowsiness still clouded her mind. "What do you mean yours would to? You're already a morning person. Elsa, you practically wake up at five every single day." She reached for her toothbrush, her back to Elsa as the blonde remained sitting in the bed.

"I meant my life would be so much easier if you were a morning person," she emphasized and they both shared a laugh.

A light continental breakfast was all they needed to get their day started. Turns out, much to Anna's surprise, Elsa had planned their entire day and it would require both of them to be on foot and discover the city. She insisted that's what they should do as tourists and the only consolation Anna received was that they would take a cab or the metro to certain locations.

The first thing on Elsa's mental list was a visit to Museu Picasso. It resembled an ancient house due to the Catalonian architecture and stored many of the paintings given to Sabartes - the founder of the museum - by Picasso himself.

It was impressive, Anna had to admit. She was never the one to attend such things for fun but in this case, the company sure made a difference and Elsa's presence attributed to het enjoyment of the tour. Apparently Picasso was not a Barcelona native but maintained so many ties there that he considered it his city.

She had never enjoyed looking at art before, not as much as in that moment at least. Elsa offered her opinion and a few facts every now and then and Anna was sure that she would never forget them. The way Elsa's eyes lit up when she learned something new or when she explained something to Anna was nice. Really, really nice.

Even when they were having lunch, Elsa seemed to be so passionate about their activities that day. She couldn't stop talking about their little adventures, something new she learned or the amazing yet somewhat frightening design of La Sagrada Familia, which was still an unfinished project that began in 1882. If she had to be honest, Anna would actually be willing to explore more often, especially if it guaranteed an almost 'puppy-eyed' girlfriend.

"Elsa, not that I mind or anything, but if you keep talking about today you will never get to eat your food." Anna pointed down towards Elsa's untouched tapas. Elsa stopped, pouted and rested her back on the back of the chair, not before taking a sip of her wine. Anna couldn't help but giggle at that.

"Fine," Elsa said. "But I'm keeping you up at night and I'm telling you all about it." She smirked.

"Fine by me. While you're at it, make sure you keep me up… you know?" Anna wiggled her eyebrows and Elsa only shook her head and smiled. They both knew there was no way Elsa would deny that request.

The rest of the day consisted of much of the same. Wine tasting, food eating, a few performances here and there. It was a busy day but it was very enjoyable. Besides, it's not like they would stay at the hotel during their entire vacation. Eventually, they ended up going back to their room, sometime around sun set. Anna was exhausted from all the walking but she was willing to keep going if Elsa asked her.

And she did. After giving her parents a quick call, Anna was requested by Elsa to the closet. Curious at the particular request, Anna followed the blonde's voice and was surprised when there were a variety of dresses waiting for her.

"Elsa?" Anna asked, incredulously. "What is going on?"

"Well," the blonde walked towards Anna with her hands behind her back, almost timidly. "I know going to museums and art displays isn't so much your thing, so I thought we could go out tonight."

"And where are we going?" Anna eyed the dresses up and down.

"There's a club nearby, and don't worry, we're not walking this time. So choose a dress and we'll be leaving shortly." The only response that followed was squealing and a hug. A really tight hug.

Elsa might have underestimated Anna, because although she'd said they'd leaving shortly, Anna insisted on taking her own time because she needed to look as good and as elegant as Elsa. The blonde had her protests to begin with, but once she saw the freckled girl walk back into her view, she stood and almost literally dropped her jaw.

"You know, when you said you were trying to look as good as me, I didn't think you'd end up looking a million times better." Elsa commented.

"I don't know if that's supposed to be an insult or a compliment."

"A compliment, definitely a compliment." Elsa tucked in a stray hair into the back of Anna's ear. "Ready to go?" The redhead nodded.

There was something extremely exhilarating about being under the flashing lights, with loud and rhythmic music, and dancing next to the person who could make her heart beat at an exponentially increasing rate. Perhaps it was something about drinking too much, or the close proximity and the deep attraction between the two women.

They had been at it for a while now; hands around the other's waist or around the neck. A few rubbing of lips that lasted for the shortest while (unfortunately). At first, they had a decent amount of fun, as anyone would have at a club. But as the level of alcohol increased and as all the worries seemed unimportant as seconds passed, their bodies began to loosen and they could have sworn they were both feeling the sparks of electricity radiating off the other. It was indescribable. It was much more than being "in the moment," however. Much more than the sound of each other's panting at their ears, or the transfer off heat. Definitely, much more than the intense glances they were throwing at each other, completely forgetting that there was a multitude of people surrounding them. That wasn't a problem for long because they left the dance floor as soon as Anna gave the order. "Take me," she slowly whispered into Elsa's ear, grabbed her hand and pulled her along with her.

The walk to the restroom was short, although it seemed to last longer than it should have with all the people on the way. Fortunately for them, they were able to find an empty stall. With a few missteps and after some clumsy moments later, they managed to secure the lock and luckily for them - and the other people around - the music was still quite loud in there. Anna's back was pressed against the wall in no time and the moment their lips crashed felt as if it should have come sooner. "Take you where?" Elsa asked back after biting Anna's lower lip.

"Wherever you want." Was Anna's breathless reply and so Elsa took it upon her.

"I have planned to many things for us. We can go to the beach," She planted a kiss on the redhead's lips. "Or the city," another kiss. "Or the mountains," a slower kiss and Elsa's tongue pierced Anna's lips. "But right now... I'll take you to heaven." Anna could have sworn that was the sexiest Elsa had ever sounded, so much so that an unannounced, loud moan escaped her mouth. Elsa continued to kiss her neck, "and I'll make you see the stars."

AN: So, one more to go and then the epilogue. They will be fairly short, just chapters to wrap everything up. Might take a while to post them, sometimes I'm not in the writing mood and I don't want to give you guys low-quality content. 95% sure that they'll both contain time skips as well.
