Name: Alban, N

Location: ICPF Headquarters, Intelligence Division

Lieutenant Commander Nimue Alban sat at her desk in what was affectionately called "The Cube Farm." The vast room was filled to capacity with cubicles for the ICPF Intelligence office. Next to her computer was the digital avatar of her personal AI, OWL. The avatar was the form of a nondescript man with in a black business-casual shirt and slacks.

"Good Morning, Lieutenant Commander. Intelligence Head Hughes wishes me to remind you that your profiles on Knight-Commander Rivera, Training Officer Galbatorix, Head Engineer Kramer, Trainee Agent Verene, Special Weapons Agent Mer-"

"Yes, I know," Alban cut the AI off. "Thank you, Owl. Tell Hughes I'll have them in his inbox by this evening." As Alban began typing, a muffled whump was heard, followed by the entire floor rumbling. Reaching under her desk and grabbing one of her swords, the Intelligence Agent asked, "Owl, what was that?"

"Checking...Received. Knight Commander Rivera had engaged a rogue individual in Training Room #43. The combatant has been identified as Kurosaki Ichigo, of Bleach Canon, sub-canon unknown. The explosion was created by Knight-Commander's attack striking the combatant's own. There will be no need to assist Knight-Commander in this instance, Lieutenant Commander."

Nimue set her blade back under her desk. "If you say so." Another rumble shook the Agent. "Let me guess, Rivera just left for Bleach Canon, didn't he?"

"Affirmative, Lieutenant Commander"

"Well, might as well work on those profiles. Any restrictions?"

"None, Lieutenant Commander. Intelligence Head Hughes has stated that he preferred less formal documentation, claiming that it encourages a more honest response. He will draw more professional statements with the information provided."

Alban nodded. "Here goes..."

The following is the cumulative profile reports from the Desk of Lt. Cmdr. Nimue Alban.

Intelligence Profile Report: Rivera, Nathan

Position: Special Weapons Division Head & Cobalt Squad Commander

Canon: Warcraft Sub-Canon: 463A

Known Aliases: None

Years of Service: 2031 years (Refuses retirement)

Overview: Nathan Rivera is...complex, to say the least. Makes himself out to be as unknown as possible, possibly for a tactical standpoint. Cold, yet quick to anger, Rivera refuses to describe his time in home Canon. Records are sealed, and he has attacked several Agents who tries to uncover the data. The Knight Commander uses Special Weapons (and Cobalt Squad in particular) as a long term reconnaissance/strike team, acquiring powerful tools for ICPF in general and gaining allies from numerous Canon.

Personal Opinion: Switch to decaf, for God's sake. Either that, or join an acting troupe and get it out of your system, Nath. You let the whole "dark, imposing Knight" thing get to your head sometimes. And I say this with the best intentions, Commander. That elf you beheaded should have been example enough. Also, I would quit trying this Game of Thrones-esque lying-your-way-through-life ploy. It's getting old, having to sort through your bullshit.

Intelligence Profile Report: Kramer, John

Position: Engineering Head/Psychology Lieutenant

Canon: Saw Sub-Canon: Prime

Known Aliases: Jigsaw, The Jigsaw Killer (Although he refuses this alias, as he believes he does not kill people, merely test them)

Years of Service: 1669 (Refuses retirement)

Overview: A former serial killer, John Kramer was recruited for his mechanical expertise and his abilities concerning human psychology (namely, is near psychic ability to predict human action/reaction, regardless of situation). He was known for testing the survival instinct of hundreds of people using complex, mostly mechanical traps designed in an ironic sense to each victim. All but a scant few have survived. Currently, Kramer uses his mechanical expertise, coupled with ICPF databases, to design arms and armor for most of the Police Force. He also assists the Psychology Division to allow our more traumatized Agents with recovery (a slightly disturbing thought there, just pointing that out).

Kramer is assisted at all times with a Halsey-Class AI, using the cloned mind of a one Dr. Lawrence Gordon (also of Saw Prime) as a guide to his medical practices. (Just what we need, those two working together again.) The AI helps him design the skeletal/muscular structures of the Agents that have been issued the Advanced Robotic Manipulator, as well as the new ocular, cochlear and laryngeal implants for standard communications systems our Agents now use (I don't care how much they pay me, I'd rather have Dr. Jackal stick those things in me).

Personal Opinion: At least he stopped "testing" people, as far as Intel knows. Psych Department is having a pretty good turnaround rate since he's been installed there, and Engineering has a very prolific portfolio (I'm kind of in love with the new A.R.M. 20% lighter and 50% increase in dexterity since the Mk VI). However, If I see that bastard wearing a pig mask (Halloween be damned), I can't be held responsible for a new corpse in the morgue. I'm just saying.

Intelligence Profile Report: Galbatorix

Position: Training Cadre Commander

Canon: Eragon Sub-Canon: 92G

Known Aliases: None

Years of Service: 1534 (Refuses retirement)

Overview: Galbatorix. Former king to the human empire in Eragon Canon. Inventive as a mage and swordsman. Funny thing is, he was originally a purely cold-blooded tactician and ruler. He cites the last moments of his original life as a sort of turning point. Galbatorix was forced near the end to fell all the pain and suffering he had caused in his life, leaving him to attempt magic-based suicide. Our Agents stopped him just before the spell took effect and offered him a position in ICPF as one of our trainers. Since then, the deposed king has become a more...respectable operative within ICPF, although he retains his dry wit.

Personal Opinion: He's...O.K. I guess. I tried sparring with him, and make no mistake, he knows his stuff. Ironically, he has a problem with cheap shots (I think my last words to him were, "pot meet kettle." I've seen his history. He pretty much took over humanity in his home Canon with a kick to the groin). He's been experimenting with temporal magic in the past few years, using it in sword fights to challenge stronger opponents. Honestly, the thought of him moving faster than the eye can track is scary, and I know from experience.

Intelligence Profile Report: Verene

Position: None (Trainee Agent)

Canon: Tortall Sub-Canon: Prime

Known Aliases: None

Years of Service: Less than 1

Overview: Not much to talk about. She died in Tortall Canon as a member of the Provost's Guard, their world's version of the police. We recruited her as part of our long-standing treaty with an entity known as the Black God (quite a nice fellow for a god of the afterlife).

Personal Opinion: Nice person to know. A very new addition, and she's acclimatizing to current tech levels rather quickly. Commander Rivera has expressed interest with her as a SpecWep. I'm a little skeptical about that.

Intelligence Profile Report: Merrick, Judas

I'm just gonna keep this simple, Maes. If Rivera doesn't want you to know about him, I'm not saying anything either. He's still in Warcraft 463A, that's all I'm allowed to say on that. Ask Cmdr. Rivera when he gets back from harassing Soul Reapers.

Am I done here? This is bullshit, and you know it. You already have this info from High Command. I'm getting back to the Fomorian research for Kramer and Rivera.

Alban out.

Author's Note:

Hey guys. Another one for my readers. Just wanted to put something together as a quick little "dossier" on some of the main characters in ICPF. Chapter Eighteen involving Harry and the Warcraft crew is in the works. Just a little more time. I've broken two fountain-pen nibs on the draft. (That's right, I'm that old-school).

As always don't forget to read, rate and review this fic.

Until Next Time,

MasterMerrick
