Hans lay in the snow, unconscious, as Elsa blasted the wolves. After several blasts, they howled and ran in fear. Another howl filled the air, as Snowcone stood behind Elsa. He roared at the wolves, causing them to whimper and run back into the woods.

Finally, the entire wolfpack had scurried away. Elsa turned and saw the admiral lying in the snow. She walked towards his body and scoffed.

Snowcone brought his large hand to carry the admiral, but Elsa stopped him.

"Leave him." she said, coldly.

"What? But, ma'am, he's-"

"Easily replaceable."

The queen turned and made her back to the castle. Snowcone prepared to follow, but couldn't think to leave the admiral to die in the storm.

"Your Majesty, if I may.." Snowcone began.

Elsa kept walking.

"Well, you...you have a better chance to break the spell with him than with anyone." Snowcone said. "Falling in love takes time, which you don't really have."

Elsa stopped.

"You've known the admiral for a long time. You just need to practice handling your curse." Snowcone said.

Elsa shut her eyes and clenched her fists. Snowcone held his breath, hoping the queen would heed his advice.

"Very well, Snowcone." she said, quietly.

Snowcone sighed with relief.

"But, this whole incident will not go unpunished." she continued.

"But, you said-"

"I said that I will continue trying to win his heart and break the spell. But, I will handle this whole escape my way."

Snowcone wanted to argue, but he could see that the queen was settled with her decision. And, he was happy that, at least, she wouldn't leave the admiral to die.

Elsa had him carry the admiral back to the castle. The storm had began to get a bit worse, and Snowcone knew the queen was boiling with anger. Once they arrived at the castle, Snowcone heard a groan. The admiral sat up on Snowcone's hand and rubbed the back of his neck.

Noticing how high up he was, the admiral gasped. Snowcone lowered him down and placed him at the front door of the caste. The frozen doors opened as their creator approached. Elsa walked up the stairs and met him at the entrance.

"Queen El-"

Suddenly, Elsa thrusted her hand at him, causing a strong breeze to throw him through the doors. Snowcone watched and hung his head, expecting the worst. Unable to defy his creator's wishes, he stayed outside and resumed his duty in guarding the castle.

The admiral was blown onto his back and quickly got up, as Elsa approached him.

"Your Highness, I never intended-"

"I know exactly what you intended. You thought you could just leave without keeping to your word." Elsa scolded.

"You nearly killed me." Hans said, gritting his teeth.

"You dare talk back to your queen!"

Hans narrowed his eyes. "You're not my queen."

Elsa had had enough. Her face grew red with anger and she used all her strength to strike the admiral in the face. He grunted and lost his balance, falling to the floor. Elsa grabbed him by the back of his neck collar and dragged him towards his room.

The admiral was shocked at how much inhumane strength the queen had. He tried to pry away, but she had a good grip on him. She threw him into his room and stood in the doorway.

The admiral sat up. "What is it you want from me? Why can't you just let me go?"

Suddenly, his lips were frozen shut with burning ice, making him wince in pain.

"I don't want to hear another word from you. You'll remain locked in here forever, as part of the bargain." The queen growled. "You may come out when you've learned your lesson."

And with that, Elsa shut the door to his room. Hans quickly got up and began slamming his fists onto the door and kicking it. Seeing his efforts were pointless, he let his shoulders sag. He turned his back to the door and sunk to his knees. He hung his head and didn't even notice the tears falling from his eyes.

"Your coronation is tomorrow. Are you excited about being the new queen?" the admiral asked.

Elsa blushed. "I am, but I wonder about myself sometimes."

"Why?"

"What if I'm not a good queen? It's a big responsibility, you know?"

"I know, but it's also a privilege. Think of all the good things you could do for Arendelle."

She sighed. "I know. You're the tenth person to tell me that."

"It's the truth, Your Majesty. You-"

"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Elsa?"

"It's not in my place. We're not in a first name basis. Perhaps, if I was a prince, I could."

"But, I am giving you the permission. You should take it."

"I wish I could, but I cannot. I can't forget my place. You're a queen and I'm a regular admiral."

"It's getting colder, Anna. Something isn't right. Elsa lied to us." Kristoff said.

"...I think you're right. If we don't do something, Arendelle will freeze." Anna nodded.

"We have to go back out there and find Elsa. She has to keep her word. She took the admiral, now she has to unfreeze Arendelle."

"I know, I know. It's a bit late, so we'll prepare everything in the morning. We should be ready in a few days."

"Anna?"

"Yeah?"

"I...I...just...make sure you keep warm." he stuttered.

Anna smiled. "I will. You too."

"Don't worry about me." he smiled back.

Elsa cooled down after a few hours, and decided walk around the palace. Olaf waddled upstairs and knocked on Hans' door.

"Hans? Wanna go outside with me?" he chirped.

Hans watched as the sun began to rise and looked in awe at the beautiful colors in the sky. A new day had begun. He heard Olaf's voice, but couldn't answer. His mouth was still frozen shut. Suddenly, there was shuffling outside of his door and it opened.

Elsa came in and flicked her wrist. Hans' lips were free from the ice, but he wasn't in the mood to see her. He turned his back to her and looked out his window. The castle had several cracks on it, no doubt from Elsa's rage from the other day.

Hans took a step forward and the floor broke from under him. He let out a small scream as he fell downward, towards the first floor. His hand shot up and he grabbed the ledge of the ice surrounding the hole.

"Hans!" Elsa shrieked, racing towards the hole.

She got on her knees and reached out her hand. The floor was cracking even more, so she had to be cautious.

"Give me your hand." she said, reaching out her own.

Hans' breathing and heartbeat had gotten faster as he reached out his hand. Their hands met and Elsa began pulling him back onto the second floor. Suddenly, her hand slipped and she let his go.

"No!" she cried.

Hans fell backwards, towards the first floor. Elsa thrusted her hand and large pillars of snow appeared to soften the admiral's fall.

"Catch me!" Anna giggled.

"Gotcha!" Elsa smiled.

"Again!"

Anna started jumping from each pillar, faster and faster. Elsa's smile vanished as Anna jumped faster and higher.

"Wait. Slow down!"

A light thud and scraping of snow pulled Elsa out of her flashback. She lifted her skirt and rushed downstairs. As she ran, she expected the worst. Had she killed her only chance of becoming a normal human being.? Had she killed her only friend in the world?

A/N: The whole scene with Hans falling from first floor isn't in Beaty and the Beast or Frozen. I get it, okay? There is going to be some of my own ideas in this, alrighty? Review and hope to update soon!
