Oh. My. El. (A/N: IlyRosabby~) I'm trapped in a freezing room with an abnormally hot guy who just threatened me. Yep. Seems like a normal Thursday. I slowly turned to face him. Raven was deathly calm and his gaze never wavered.

"I...what on Elrios are you talking about?"

Raven chuckled. It was one void of emotion. "Are you really going to do this?"

I don't answer.

"Alright. Let's try another approach: Why don't you have any pupils?"

"I was born like this." I spat.

"And why?" He shot back calmly.

"I don't know."

"Why do you wear glasses?"

"Is this really any of your business?" I snap. His questions are driving me up the wall. I need to get out of here. Like, now. But Raven's gaze keeps me glued to my spot. I clench my fists with such strength that my knuckles are snow white. I wet my lips and averts his gaze.

Raven sighed. "Okay. Have a good night, Miss Rena." And there seemed to be a weight lifted from my chest. I release the breath I didn't know I've been holding and my body starts shaking.

"Likewise." I mutter before bolting out the door.

They would have to kill me first. There is no way in hell I was going back to Raven. They could torture me or run me over with a truck. No fucking way. I locked my door and decided to drown myself in a book. In fact, I almost forgot until Ara came knocking at my door.

"Rena, it's your turn to go see Raven." Her soft voice called.

Fuck.

"Oh uh, I'm not feeling that well Ara..." I called back, faking some coughs. Please believe it. Please believe it. Please believe it.

"Should I call in a nurse?" She said worriedly.

"NO! I mean- I'll be fine. But I might not be able to make it to therapy..." I cough more.

Raven stands beside a very surprised Ara. He has a key between his fingers and he has an eyebrow raised at me. I was so shocked that even my glasses slipped down to my nose. He casually strolls in and grabs my wrist, yanking me out of bed. Then he pulls me out of the room, leaving Ara to blubber and gawk. We march down the hallway and people started giving us looks. Daisy and her crew scowled. The nurses shot me looks of jealousy and the fairies swarmed my face, throwing high, squeaky fairy insults at me. As we reach his office, he sits me down. And me, being too shocked to even say anything plops down obediently.

"Thank you for coming Miss Rena." He says coolly. Me, being out of shape, am slightly out of breath. I just give him my nastiest glare and cross my arms. Despicable guy.

"I want to go back."

"Unfortunately, that is not your choice. If I do not carry out my job, I don't get a paycheck." He smiled. Another emotionless grin. Raven rested his chin in his palms and eyed me.

"Fine."

"Thank you. Now, I will ask you once more." His golden eyes flashed a warning, he was serious. "Why do you wear glasses?"

I open my mouth to lie but the impact of his words hit me so hard I just can't bring myself to. "To worsen my vision." I reply flatly. My shoulders slump. Goddamnit. I give up.

"And why?" His tone was softer.

"I have sharp vision."

Silence resonated through the room and all I could hear was the ticking of his clock and the scratching sounds of his pen. I take a sudden interest in my hands. He looks up.

"Now explain to me what are the 'things' you see." Raven ordered.

"Souls, fairies, spirits, ghosts..." I count them out on my fingers. "The usual."

Silence.

"Okay. You can go."

"Ok-wait what!?" I give him a surprised look. That was it? No "Oh my El, you need help!"? No "What the hell is wrong with you!?"? Raven raises a eyebrow at me.

"You wanted to go didn't you?"

"I didn't expect..."

He chuckled. Standing up, he open the doors for me. Something was fishy. I don't get it. Why is he just letting me go? I don't like this. And of course, my intuition was right. The minute I set foot outside, he leans in and whispers in my ear. His breath made my skin prickle and I felt heat rush to my face.

"Good choice."
