HI! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

So I decided to write a fic of the Guardians in the mall…which should prove amusing.

Enjoy!

"PITCH!"

It was just a few days after Holly had destroyed Pitch's lair, and the specter had been relegated to staying at a guest room in the Pole whilst he searched for a new home. Currently though he was enjoying the library, and was reading a book he found concerning a history he knew nothing about, the Golden age. Sandy had said that the full history of the General was in this book, and Pitch was only barely getting to the part where the man was beginning to appear as a prominent figure.

The Boogeyman jumped, startled from his book and turned to the grinning winter spirit currently balancing on his staff on the left "Yes?" Pitch replied, pushing his reading glasses back up onto his nose.

Jack gave a manic giggle, a true sign that something was up, and somehow managed to hang upside down on the hook of the wooden stick "Guess what?!"

Pitch rolled his eyes, knowing that getting back to his book in the near future was a futile mission, and instead placed it aside and gave the sprite his undivided, albeit amused, attention "I have no idea, but I'm sure you will tell me before too long."

"North decided that he wants to gi-mmph!"

A furry paw covered Jack's mouth, bracing the white head against his chest, before the winter child could finish divulging the secret while the other paw flicked the pale forehead playfully "Don't tell 'im before we get here, dingbat!"

Jack gave a disappointed whine from beneath Bunny's paw before he mumbled a long string of words that were effectively muffled.

Bunny cracked up from he stood, giving the Boogeyman a playful wink, before bending down and moving one ear closer to Jack "Whatchya say mate? I can't hear ya, ya gotta speak louder."

Jack reiterated his earlier rant, still muffled by the fur, while his face began to turn a slight shade of blue.

"Jack," Pitch admonished with an evil grin "what has Toothiana told you about talking with your mouth full? Now speak properly!"

Jack gave an are-you-kidding look to the dark specter before his blue eyes narrowed in determination, but whatever plan he had failed miserably because the azure orbs widened in shock and pale hands began to flap helplessly as muffled groans and shrieks of disgust resonated from Bunny's paw. A snort of laughter exploded from the Pooka as he finally released Jack from his grip, and watched as the winter spirit made a satisfying splat on the floor.

"EW! YU-UUUUCK!" Jack bellowed as he writhed on the floor and began spitting like crazy.

Pitch raised a nonexistent eyebrow, and cast a confused smirk towards Bunny "Did I miss something."

The Pooka merely gave a maniacal laugh in response, an action mirrored by older brothers all over the world. Jack was still spitting and moaning on the floor.

"YOU!" the irate winter spirit spat pointing an accusatory finger at Aster "YOU were SUFFOCATING ME!"

Bunny began to snicker and snort before casting an angelic look of innocence Jack's way "Well, why didn't you say something?"

"I tried!" the boy screamed "but you…and Pitch…just being jerks…and then I tried to get loose by…" Jack gave a shudder of disgust.

"I'm definitely missing something," Pitch stated with a firm nod from where he sat, watching the drama unfold as if it were some riveting soap opera "do you two come with a rewind button?"

"I'll tell ya what he did," Bunny said with an evil giggle "He…he…licked my paw!"

The Pooka fell on the floor in helpless laughter while Jack started on round two of his rant "Oh come on!" he pouted "It sounded like a good idea at the time, and I've seen lots of kids get away from their brother by licking their hand!"

"That is at once gross, and highly unsanitary," Pitch replied while choking down his laughter "Jack, you don't know where that paw's been!"

"Oi!" came the indignant squawk from the Pooka.

"You're telling me," the boy moaned giving a small cough "I think the worst part is I have a ton of fur in my mouth!"

"Hey," Aster shrugged with a petulant grin from his spot on the floor "ya should've taken a moment ta think about yer plan before just divin' in like that."

"Like you gave me any choice?!" Jack stood with a fuming glare.

"Boys! Do you want me to ground the both of you? Because I will."

All three turned to see the oldest three Guardians walking into the library, Tooth in the lead, each amused and unsurprised to find Jack and Bunny fighting…again.

"…No…" Jack said with a pout before pointing at Bunny "But he started it!"

"Naw mate," Bunny glared sticking out his tongue "I did what I had ta in order ta stop ya from spillin' the beans ta Pitch before we all got here."

"I don't care who started it," Tooth growled "because I'll finish it, and neither of you will get to go along with us on the surprise."

Green and blue eyes went wide, before both heads ducked in sheepish looks of shame, and the fairy gave a satisfied smile before continuing "Now," she quipped "hug each other and say you're sorry."

"Men don't hug," Jack said haughtily.

"What he said," Bunny coughed.

"HA!" North guffawed "You tell very bad lie, we've all seen you two hug many times. In fact, I think I saw Bunny give you hug just last week!"

"NO-ORTH!" Bunny and Jack whined in unison.

"Boys," Tooth said in her motherly disciplinary tone "hug. It. OUT!"

Both pouting, the teen boys made their way around the chaise lounge where Pitch was sitting, and gave each other a light hug with little pats on the back "Sorry"

"I'll just get revenge later," Jack whispered when he was close to Bunny's ear.

"I'll be ready." Bunny replied with a small growl.

The two sprang apart, their faces the features of obedient little angels, and finally the Boogeyman couldn't hold it back any longer, loud hoots of laughter burst while he shook with mirth "I don't know why I didn't befriend you sooner," he gasped as his guffaws calmed to chuckles "you are all infinitely more entertaining that anything I could find on TV or in a book."

"Speaking of which," Tooth said, an excited squeal underlying her words "we have a surprise!"

"So I've heard," Pitch nodded "and have been hearing, but have yet to find out what it is."

Sandy flew in front of him, a happy smile lighting his features before using his dream sand to craft a picture of the North Pole, then Pitch, then of Pitch lying down on a bed beside a window. The Boogeyman pursed his lips in thought "You want me to…sleep at the…Pole?" he ventured.

"YES!" North bellowed happily "Today we make room for you to stay in, while you find new lair, and should something happen that keeps you from home after."

"Isn't it great?" Tooth squealed "We're going to make you your very own room here at the Pole!"

"…Oh…"

The Boogeyman was dumbfounded, utterly gob smacked, and maybe even a tad bit shell shocked. He was getting a room, here? "I….don't know what to say."

"It's ok to feel a little overwhelmed," Jack laughed plopping down on the chaise lounge next to Pitch "I know I was when I got mine!"

The Boogeyman gave a soft smile to the boy before coughing so to recover his tough guy façade "However, I'm not sure your yetis would be able to make anything that I would want for my room. I may have become your friend, but my style is still considerably more…dark, than you have experience decorating for."

"That's why we're going to the mall!" Jack burst jumping into the air and doing a small explosion of snowflakes before landing back on the couch and pointing at Bunny "HA! I beat you to saying the good part!"

"That's fine," the rabbit shrugged with a smirk "I get ta do the explainin'."

"Proceed," Pitch said with a nod.

"North has a special potion that can turn us all human," Aster replied with a happy grin "so we're all gonna go to the mall and do a little shopping."

"Doesn't that sound fun?!" Tooth said clapping her hands excitedly.

"Actually…" the room grew quiet as the dark specter answered slowly "it…does."

"Let's go!" Jack crowed victoriously.

Somewhere in California, a portal opened behind a large mall, and six figures walked out of it. One was a tall boy of roughly nineteen; flashing green eyes were topped by black hair that had bluish grey highlights, and his lithe muscular frame was adorned by a black leather jacket, red shirt, and black jean pants completed with hiking boots.

Next to him was a younger teen boy, brown hair and warm hazel eyes were merely an accessory to the happy fun loving face. This child wore a blue hoodie, and a pair of comfortable jeans with white and blue tennis shoes on his feet.

Then there was the larger man, a long white beard, and twinkling blue eyes while his muscular frame was contained within a red and black plaid flannel shirt, jean pants, and a jean jacket lined with wool.

A younger man, around his late thirties, followed next, sandy blond hair and a mischievous twinkle in golden eyes only added to the grin that adorned his face. This man wore a simple white shirt with khaki pants, and comfortable brown loafers.

A woman was next, with the dark skin and black hair of a native from India, but shocking lavender eyes peeked out from a beautiful face of soft skin the color of mocha. She wore a pink silk shirt that showed off her tiny frame, accented by a jean skirt, and comfortable pink sandals.

The last was a tall man with black hair, and eyes the color of honey. He had the same lithe muscular frame as the dark haired teen, but his was adorned by a cobalt gray silk shirt and black dress pants, finished by black leather shoes that clicked on the pavement.

"Can we go in now?" Jack whined.

"Ok, ok," North said waving his hands in a calming gesture "but we must discuss plans."

"How about no plans and we all just go in and see what we find?" Bunny put in.

"I'm with Bun- I mean, Aster," Tooth giggled "let's just go in and see how it goes."

With a nod, the entire group entered the mall, their minds focused on one thing…buying the right items that would make Pitch's room at the Pole comfortable for him.

I think I'm going to end it there and just make this a two part mini arc.

Hope you don't mind and I also hope you enjoyed the first part!
