Daisuke's P.O.V.
It was early in the morning when Daisuke woke up. He didn't really get much sleep to begin with, with him being all excited about his birthday and all. He acted as if he was a sugar high child, bouncing off the wall. Anyways, having his family wrapped around his little fingers since he was a baby, he always got what he wanted. Even what Naruto wanted at times. Not to long ago he got his twin in trouble for breaking the vase that his mother got from her friend. They didn't even think that Daisuke was wrong. That was when he realized that he really did have them wrapped around his fingers and he could get away with everything if he just blamed Naruto for it.
He might be a newly appointed five-year old but he grew is a devious child.
Daisuke ran down the hall to his parents screaming. "Mommy, Daddy wake up! Guess what day it is?"
Kushina's P.O.V.
Waking up to her son's voice so early in the morning was not pleasant. She just wasn't a morning kind of person unlike her husband. He was already up. She turned to him, "Do you think he will go away if we don't answer him?" She asked half asleep.
"I think it will have the opposite effect on Daisuke." Minato chuckled replied climbing back into bed.
"What time is it?"
"6" Kushina groaned and went back to sleep for a few more minutes, turning around.
Daisuke P.O.V.
Daisuke barged into the room making a ton of noises trying to wake his parents up, well more like his mom since she's the only one in bed. He wanted his birthday presents. NOW. He figured he would take advantage of his newly found control over them. All he has to do is act innocent.
"Come on wake up" He climbed into his parents bed making noise as he could, shaking her. "I'm hungry and I want my present! Mommy! Wake up!"
"Sweetie it's too early in the morning ," Kushina said. Honestly she really wanted to go back to sleep but she didn't want to ignore her son.( A/N- hypocrite)
"Why are you so up early, again, Daisuke?" Minato asked as if he didn't know why he was up this early. He walked out of the bathroom wiping his face.
"Daddy it's my birthday! Come on!" Daisuke wined, pulling on Minato's clothes.
"Well, then, we should get mommy to make you a birthday breakfast, then, right? Why don't you get your brother and get ready."Minato chuckled.
"Okay."
I get anki's birthday present first. Daisuke thinks to himself happily making his way to his brother's room. It took a while to get their because they live in a mansion. 30 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, swimming pool, both inside and out, and much, much more. Daisuke's parents saved a lot of money over the years from their missions and his father being the Hokage.
"Anki! Mommy's making breakfast! " Daisuke yelled banging on the door.
"I'm already up little brother." Arashi smiled as he opened up the door, letting his little brother in. Daisuke went to the bed and sat there.
"Nii-san, I want my birthday present!"
"Later when you get everyone's else's." Arashi said but he wouldn't take no for answer. He knew all of them were weak against his puppy eyes. Arashi sighed. Arashi went in his closet on the top shelf. As he grabbed it he saw another box fall a bit but Arashi caught it before it fell down. He brought out a present wrapped in Daisuke's favorite color, royal blue. Daisuke ripped it open and pulled out a brand new kunai.
"You need start practicing." Arashi stated with a small smirk. Daisuke nodded yes, smiling.
" You're the best!" Daisuke exclaimed in excitement.
"Lets get breakfast. " Arashi said going out the door.
" Whats that over there?" Daisuke pointed to the other present on the top self. Arashi stopped and looked to where Daisuke was pointing. The box was a small one, wrapped in a black and white polka dot wrapping paper. with a small sliver bow on it.
" Naruto's present."
"I'll give him it." Daisuke said with a fake smile. He didn't like the idea of Naruto getting anything from anyone. He didn't like Naruto too much. He was a… slow. He couldn't play any sports and he wasn't very well liked either. No wanted him around and neither did he. If Naruto were to play with him then he wouldn't have any friends. Naruto might look like he's family but he'll never really be one of them, not in Daisuke's eyes.
"Here." Arashi gave him the present to give to Naruto but little did he know that Naruto would never actually receive it. Arashi left to go to the kitchen and Daisuke pretended to go to Naruto's room, which happens is one room away from his, is easy.
Daisuke's room had a light blue as his wall color with a letter D right above his bed in front of the door. On one side of the bedroom he has the Uzumaki clan symbol. He has his toys and clothes all over the floor and bed. Daisuke went to the closet, which is across from the bed, and put the present there, in the corner where no one looks. Later he'll get rid of it, if it's not a good present of course. Smirking, he made way to the kitchen.
Minato's P.O.V.
Breakfast was almost done when Arashi came in. Minato watched as his oldest son and couldn't help but think that he was growing up too fast. Arashi grew his dirty blond hair out just passed his shoulders and has it on a low ponytail. He didn't have any bangs anymore either, not like he did when he was younger giving a clear view of his face. His eyes were a startling stormy gray color. Arashi has always been a genius and Minato was always worried about his future. Having such high standards and needing to fulfill them comes at a cost. Minato was glad Arashi decided to graduate with his friends and not take the early exams. He'll be graduating in a few months, he'll be running off on missions and Minato didn't like the idea of that but he wasn't one to deny his sons dream.
And then there was little Daisuke. Daisuke came in a with a big smirk that would be suspicious but Daisuke has never done anything bad so Minato quickly threw those thoughts away.
Daisuke could- no would never do anything wrong.
Daisuke is a least 4 feet tall, taller than the average 5-year-old. Minato knew that he would grow taller when he's older. Daisuke reminded him of Kushina. He has her better part of her personality( Don't tell Kushina that) and her red hair that he loved so much. Daisuke always talked about becoming a shinobi. Minato, knowing this he knew that Daisuke would love his birthday present. Both Kushina and him are going to start his training, helping contral his chakra. They know that Daisuke is more advanced for his age and that his training well progress quickly and smoothly.
Daisuke doesn't know but there is a good chance that he would inherit the family kekkei genkai. Daisuke went in for a check up, a few years ago when he was three and Tsunade had told them of his potential about the kekkei genkai. They also found out that Naruto didn't share the same potential as his younger twin. In fact there something different about the way Naruto's body generated his Chakra but not life threatening. Tsunade told them they didn't have to worry about it.
"- listening!" Arashi said, shaking Minato out of his thoughts.
"Sorry, Arashi. What did you say?" Minato chuckled a bit scratching the side of his head. Arashi frowned.
"I said I'm going to train for a bit after I eat breakfast. I'll be back before the festival begins." Arashi said, helping set the table up with his mother.
When did she get here? Minato thought.
"Fine but don't make me look for you or else, young mister." Kushina said in a serious tone. " And Minato, should the Hokage be this relaxed. Getting lost in his own thoughts, if only the others could see you now." Kushina joked.
"Hehe.. Lets eat."
Some time later
Arashi already left, after quickly eating his food. Kushina wasn't too happy about it but He is growing up, not that she would admit it. Daisuke was helping gather all the plates and forks with Kushina and Minato. The nanny, Hikaru, was washing the dishes when all three of them came in.
"Hikaru, what are you still dining here. I thought I gave you the day off?" Kushina said.
"I just needed to do a few more things before I can take the day off. It will be quick." She said as she ran back and forth, making sure everything is where its suppose to be.
"Fine but be sure to have fun today Hikaru." Minato sighed. Hikaru just nodded happily. Things like this usually go her way.
"Come on kid-do your present is outside." Daisuke's eyes lit up.
"My present!" Daisuke ran outside without another word.
"What is his present?" Hikaru asked curiously.
"He starts his training today. I know he wanted this for a while now." Hikaru nodded. She was happy Daisuke got what he wanted but what about Naruto.
