AN: Sorry! I have a tad bit of Writer's Block...but I couldn't let the world end!...well I probably would let it end but not before getting a chapter out to my Lovely Readers...LOVE YOU GUYS!

Chapter 20

Previously

I get into the truck with Katniss in the passenger front seat and Knick Knack in the back seat gazing out of the window. I pull out of the driveway and make my way down to the pet store.

PetSmart here we come.

Finnick's P.O.V.

Once we get to the pet store I go to the back door and put the leash around Knick Knack's neck and let him jump out of the truck. I grab Kat's hand when she gets out and we walk to the the entrance. Knick Knack's tail never stops wagging.

"Let's get the bed first." Kat tells me once we get the basket.

"Whatever you want, baby girl." I press my lips to her forehead before she runs, literally runs, to the section with the beds. I look down to Knick Knack and say,"Your mom's going to be the death of me.

His tail wags even faster when I address him. We walk over to Katniss in the dog bed isle. When we get there I find her sitting in one of the beds. "Um, Kat?"

"Yes, Finn?"

"You do know that those are for the dogs and not for sitting in right?"

She sighs, exasperated, and explains to me,"I have to make sure that this bed is good enough for Knick Knack. Make sure it's comfortable enough. Come sit with me, Finn." I shrug and sit with her. It's not unusual to see anyone from our group doing the not-so-normal things in stores or public in general. I remember this one time Marvel and I started to challenge everyone who walked by us to battle it out with light sabers in Wal-Mart. And then this one time Wal-Mart let a fully charged electric scooter on the floor and it was game on. Marvel and I had races to see who could get all the way around the store without getting caught by the manager. We had helmets and all of the 'saftey materiel' that nobody ever uses on. We had the third top watched video on youtube for like two weeks.

And then like a month after that everyone in our group played hide and go seek in Wal-Mart and then Home Depot after we got kicked out of Wal-Mart. It's funny because the two are right next to each other and one time Home Depot locked their sliding doors to keep us out because Wal-Mart had called them five minutes before telling them that we were heading their way. Those two stores just love us, note my sarcasm. We're just kids being kids. We duck taped all of the frozen foods and it's doors and the entire back section of Wal-Mart one time. We spend a lot of time at those two places because we got banned from the mall. we were running up and down the escalator backwards and riding down the railings of them and security had escorted us out and put up our names on the 'Do Not Let In' sign in front of the Mall's entrances.

"I like this one." Kat tells me, pulling me out of my reminiscing time.

"I agree. Very comfy." I say in the most serious tone yet. We look to each other and nod. I get up and then help Kat up and we pick up the bed and put it in the basket. That's how our trip went. We tried everything out-minus the treats and dog food- and played tag with Knick Knack and the rest of the pets in the store. We soon got kicked out after buying our things.

We got Knick Knack a black and red collar with small metal spikes all around it. His leash is red and his harness is black and blue and green plaid. We got two blows. One with 'Bad' on it and the other one with 'Ass' on it. The funny part about it is that Knick Knack is a sweet and almost completely non-violent. We also got an assortment of toys. We put Knick Knack and everything in the back seat and get in ourselves. We put our seat belts on and I get out of the parking lot and head off towards the house.

When we get halfway there we hear a squeaking noise. Katniss looks back and I look in the rearview mirror to see Kick Knack chewing on his squeaky duck toy. We both laugh and I turn my attention back to the road before we got into a reck. "That is so cute! He couldn't even wait till we got home." Katniss squeals...yes...The Katniss Everdeen...just sqeualed. I think the Apocalypse is soon to be upon us. ( Don't worry my guest reviewer Ally, this update will keep that from happening and the world from explodeing...BTW...Your reviews made my day...sorry this took so long!)

I shake my head in humor and pull into the driveway of our house. I see Knick Knack's head pop up and his tail start to wag. I get out of the truck and Kat gets out before I can get to her door. I open up the back door to let Knick Knack out and he guns it to the door. I see him sit down in front of it and wait for Kat and I. Katniss gets out two bags and I get the other four bags. She got the toys and bed and I got the bowls, food, treats, collar, leash, ect. We get to the door and Kat unlocks the door with the key I gave her. Knick Knack trots in and goes straight to my parents. I chuckle and set down the bags next to the door. Just then the doorbell rings out. I turn back around as Knick Knack makes his way to stand next to me.

"Come on man! Open up!" I hear Marvel call from the other side of the door.

I open the door and watch Knick Knack's ears go from straight up and tail waging happily, to ears straight back and tail stiff. All the commotion from outside the door stop when they see Knick Knack.

"Dude. What's with the dog?" Cato asks me, looking at Knick Knack with weary eyes.

"Guys, this is Knick Knack. Mine and Katniss' new family member. Knick Knack, these people are also like family, they're okay. They're not here to kill us." I tell Knick Knack crouching down next to him scratching behind his ears. He looks at me with cautious eyes before going up to Cato and sniffs him. He goes to everyone which includes, Cato, Marvel, Thresh, Gloss, Rory, Gale, and Peeta, and sniffs them. All the guys are here, but not the little siblings or girls.

"Where's everyone else?" I ask when Knick Knack comes back to me, apparently dreaming everyone okay to enter. I scratch his head and his cropped tail wags happily again.

"They should be hear any minute now, we had to take three different cars to get here. Everyone is coming over as tomorrow is the last day of school. Just making plans for Camp and getting everything ready for tomorrow. One of the cars coming here is just filled with all of our bags. Then there was us in my truck, and then the kids and the girls in Gloss' truck. The girls are riding in the bed of the truck and the kids are all in the cab of the truck. It was quite funny to see all of the kids get in the truck. It looked like a clown car." Marvel tells me. "Is this the dog that I saw when I was drunk?"

"Yes, and don't talk about that to loud, my parents are home." They all nod and I let them inside. When they are all inthey go to the game room and turn on my X-box 360. I hear Call Of Duty: Black Ops being turned on. The maps for the zombies are so much better than the Black Ops II. I go into the living room and pick up the bags of toys we got for Knick Knack and bring them into the game room where he is. Katniss follows me and goes to Knick Knack when we get in there.

I throw one of his rope tug-of-war knots to him and Thresh starts to play with him as Cato, Marvel, Rory, and Gloss play Black Ops. I go to the living room once more and get his bed and bring it to the game room. I set up his bed in the back right corner of the room and put his blanket on the bed. I get his collar out of the bag and give it to Kat so she could put it on him while I brough his food and bowls to the kitchen. I set down the Keep Dry mat where his bowls are going and set them up correctly. I put a little bit of food in his food bowl and some water in his water bowl. "Knick Knack!" I call him and he comes running into the kitchen. He sees his food and goes straight for it.

I put his food bag in the pantry and close the door.

DING DONG!
DING DONG!
DING DONG!

The door bell goes off and I go to the door while Knick Knack eats his food. I open the door to see the girls standing there with all the kids in front of them. "Hey."

"Hi, Finnick!" All the kids chorus out.

"Hey, Lill and Dill, do you guys want to see what Kantiss and I got?" I ask them and they nod there heads. "Knick Knack! Come see!" He runs to me from the kitchen and stops next to me turning his head to the side.

"You got a puppy dog!?" They squeal out, what's with the squealing today?

"Yes we did. His name is Knick Knack and he lives with us now. Let him smell you." I tell them as Knick Knack goes up to them. When he deems them okay he starts to lick on them.

They laugh out and I hear Jo, Annie, Clove, Ember, Rue and Prim go 'Aw'. I step aside and let them all inside. Mary (12), Allene (11), Posy (11), Sarah (10), Joan (13), Angel (10), Alice (13), Motley (12), and Haven (12) all went with Lilly (13) to her room while Hunter (13), Vick (12), Bruno (14), Galen (10), Jet (11), Malice (13), Rye (14), Pandoro (10), and Thomas(12) all went with Dylan (13) to his room. It's cute that there are all as close as we are.

All the girls go to the game room and Knick Knack and I follow after locking the door. Knick Knack runs ahead of me and I go to the kitchen to get a few snacks for everyone.

The day went on uneventful and when everyone that didn't live here left, Katniss and I went up to our room and started to pack our things for tomorrow.

My Kitten was still sore from earlier so I made her go take a hot bath and go to bed. When she got into our bed, I went over and kissed her goodnight. After I finished packing our things, I took a quick shower and got my boxers on. I turned out the bedroom lights and patted Knick Knack's head on my way to my Kitten's side.

I snuggled in next to her and pulled her snug against me. Leaning my head down to her ear I whisper to her,"I love you, Kitten. Sweet dreams." She's in a deep sleep but a sweet smile appears on her lips. I smile and snuggle as close to her as I can.

Falling asleep with a smile of my own.

Today my Kitten moved in with me and my family with her baby brother Dylan.

Tomorrow, our summer starts.

Tomorrow, my summer with the love of my life starts.
