I snuggled in next to her and pulled her snug against me. Leaning my head down to her ear I whisper to her,"I love you, Kitten. Sweet dreams." She's in a deep sleep but a sweet smile appears on her lips. I smile and snuggle as close to her as I can.

Falling asleep with a smile of my own.

Today my Kitten moved in with me and my family with her baby brother Dylan.

Tomorrow, our summer starts.

Tomorrow, my summer with the love of my life starts.

Finnick's P.O.V.

"Come on Knick Knack. Get in the car." I let Knick Knack into the back seat of my truck with his pillow and blanket already set up for him. Everyone but Katniss and I are riding with Marvel in his mom's mini-van. While all of the luggage is piled in the bed of my truck. Mine and Katniss' bags in the cab next to Knick Knack.

"Hey dude! We're going to start heading out! We'll see you two there!" Marvel calls over to me from his mom's van. He refused to be seen driving it so he has Gale driving it. Don't know how he got Gale to do it but I have a feeling it involved blackmail. We've had many truth or dare sleep-overs where he ended up naked or almost naked...some worse than others.

"Okay! We're leaving in a few minutes! See ya' there!" I call back over to him. We wave to each other and they pull off. "Oh Katniss!" I say in a sing-song voice and se her being smothered in a hug by my mom Dylan and Lilly. My dad is chuckling across from them with his arms crossed and a smile on his face. I go to stand next to him and take in the sigh before me just like him.

"You know I always considered her my daughter." I turn my head to look at him, since my growth spurt at the beginning of my freshman year we've been the same hight but ever since last summer I've grown a few inches on him. "And now her moving in only makes that thought all the more true." I smile at him and we go for a hug. When we pull away I decide to take pity on my girlfriend and help her get out of that three man hug.

"Mom, Lill, Dill I think Kat needs to breath." I say as I walk over. "We have to go and beat the traffic. If we don't leave well be stuck in traffic and miss orientation." My mom sniffles back the rest of her tears, she's always loved Kat, and pulls away. Dylan and Lilly let go of Kat and my Kitten walks over to me and gives me a hug whispering a quiet 'thank you' and rest her head on my chest. I hug her back briefly before letting her go and picking up Lilly to say good-bye too. "Bye, Lill. I'll see you soon. Be good for Mom and Dad okay, don't give them to much trouble." I wink at her and put her down and crouch down to Dylan's hight.

"Take care of my big sis, Finn. Don't let her get hurt while I'm not there, okay?" He tells me in the most serious voice I have ever heard him speak in. I chuckle and nod. His face brightens up instantly and he throws his arms around my neck saying,"I'll miss you Finn."

"I'm going to miss you too, little man." I say hugging him back. I stand up straight when we part and wave to my parents. "We'll see you guys in two weeks." They smile and wave back as Kat and I walk out of the house and to our truck. We get in and wave to our family one last time before I start the truck and pull out of the driveway.

"Camp Capitol here we come." My Kitten says as I pull out onto the Highway 11. She's in the passenger seat looking out of the window watching the trees go by on the side of the road.

"Excited?" I ask her.

"Extremely." She tells me looking over at me.

"And why is that?" I ask innocently.

"Because it's going to be me," She leans in close to me," you," even closer," and a whole lot of hiding places." She ends with a kiss to my neck that she pulls away slowly from.

"Keep acting like that and we may never make it to camp." I say slightly out of breath. "So behave." I tell her.

"Fine." She pouts and then turns on the radio.

An hour and a half later and we pull up to 'Camp Capitol'.

"Oh Kitten." I crawl over to her curled up form in the passenger seat. "Babe, it's time to wake up." I say in a low voice. Knick Knack nudges his way to the front seat and looks over to me. "You want to wake her up?" His ears perk up and I say, "Go ahead."

Knick Knack crawls over me to get to Kat and he licks her in the face a few times before she wakes up with a shocked look on her face.

"Well hello to you to Knick Knack." She stretches and pets his head. "Are we here?"

"Yes we are, Kitten. We have to go in and get our names signed in." I say kissing her lightly, Knick Knack already made his way back to the backseat. "I love you."

She smiles up to me,"I love you so much,Finnick" She says back to me with her voice and eyes oozing love. I kiss her again and pull away getting out of the truck and going over to her side of the truck. I let Knick Knack out of the back of the truck and he trots over to a tree and lets it flow. I open up my Kittens door and she turns herself so her long legs hang out of the truck. I stand between them and she wraps her arms around my midsection, bringing me closer to her. I put one hand on her cheek and the other tangles in her hair when I bring her lips to mine.

The kiss gets deepened quickly and soon we're full on making out. One of her hands is gripping the little hairs at the nape of my neck, and the other one is resting above my heart.

"Are you two going to come and help us get all of our bags out of the bed of the truck or continue to eat each other's faces off?" We hear Marvel say. I heard envy in his voice. Kat and I pull away, slightly out of breath. I turn and see Marvel standing in front of us and in the background I see everyone else playing with Knick Knack. Kat and I pull away completely, Kat with her face flushed.

"Yeah, let's get these bags out after orientation, which starts in," Kat looks at her watch and looks up to say," two minutes." Marvel and I nod and we start to make our way to the rest of our friends. Katniss walking between us, mine and her's hands linked together and Marvel looking over every-few seconds, practically wincing every time.

"Hey, guys!" Everyone looks toward, Kat, "Time to go to orientation." They all nod and stand up and we all make our way the log building right in the middle of camp. It's the biggest on site and it has a banner running across it that says,"Welcome Counselors!"

And everyone was heading inside as a bell rang from the top of it.

"Come! Come! Come everyone! To the mess hall! Today is a busy, busy, busy day!" We all hear coming from behind us.

Our whole group stops dead in our tracks.

"Was that..." I hear Cato trail off in his sentence.

"It can't be." Ember mumbles.

"Please don't let it be." Kat says from my side.

We all turn our heads to see Manner's 101 teacher for Panem High, Effie Trinket, standing behind us ushering random people into the mess hall.

"Nooooo! Say it ain't so!" Gale shouts over dramatic as always. He's dropped to his knees and has his head in his hands.

Then we see Effie ushering a small group of people that looked familiar...one has a swollen eye and nose with caked on make-up. I have a feeling that we know the them.

Then the one with the busted up face speaks and I put my arm around Katniss quickly so that I don't have to visit a prison to say 'Hi' to my girlfriend.

Why you ask?

"I'm okay, Finn. As long as the bitch leaves me and you and everyone else be I won't knock her teeth out of her mouth." I nodded and I trust her but I still didn't let her go. I did loosen my grip on her but didn't let her go. I kissed her temple and glance back over to Effie. The small group has gotten closer and I can see that the group is made up of Cashmere, Gloss, Brutus, Enobria, Glimmer and five people I don't know but they don't look like they fit into the group. They look nice. There's three girls and two guys.

Definitely don't fit in with those people. Probably new to Panem. Maybe there will be five new people added to the group. This group is very big, but what can I say? We're awesome people that just pull in random people and make them family. That's how Cato and Thresh became part of the group.

We all make our way into the mess hall and see a podium up on a stage. Effie is standing in front of it and start to talk about the history of the camp. She probably doesn't have to but does it anyway. Always does. In school her class is more like history class than a manners 101 class. Just as she's about to finish her speech someone stumbles out onto stage.

Not just anyone either.

Haymitch Abernathy, Panem High School's principle. Hard to believe he got a job as a principle but oh well.

"How many people from PH are here?" Marvel leans over and whispers me.

"I don't know but it seems like the everyone we know." I whisper back.

"Heeeey there!-hiccup-There's so many-hiccup-many of you!"

Drunk.

And I wouldn't expect anything less from him.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeffie!" He sings over to Ms. E. Her eyes go wide and she tries to run off stage before Haymitch gets to her but that's sort of impossible since she's always in no less than five inch heels.

I turn to see Kat and Jo laughing at the scene on the stage. Haymitch passes out on top of Effie and Kat, Jo, Marvel and I get up to go help Haymitch off of Effie.

This is going to be such an interesting summer.

I will put up a chapter on here to tell you when I've put up the sequel so my followers and everyone can find the sequel easier.
