Chapter 27

"What's going on here? Why has no one told me that Nobuki got her powers back?" Zalgo marched in with anger written all over his face.

They all gave him a deadpanning look as he stopped in front of them, with fury in his eyes.

"Explain. Now!" he yelled at the brothers. Nobu stirred in Splendy's arms, drawing everyone's attention.

"Nobuki." Zalgo called to her calmer now.

She slowly opened her eyes and turned her head to Zalgo tiredly.

"Why didn't you tell me you got your powers back?" he asked stepping closer to them.

"Cause I didn't want to." She replied with her Hound ears sticking down on her head in displeasure as she turned her head away from him.

"But, I'm your uncle, you need to tell me these things." He argued, a little hurt by her comment.

"You lied to me. I don't need to tell you anything." She said burying her face in Splendy's chest as she held on for dear life. She was not in the mood to deal with whatever he has to say to her.

"It was to protect you. Nobuki-" Zalgo tried to explain but Offendy cut him off as Slendy moved in front of Splendy to block Nobu from Zalgo's view and Trendy and Offendy moved to either side of them.

"I think that's enough now. She obviously didn't wanna tell you for a reason. I suggest you leave her be for now. We'll take care of it." Offendy said with a stern and serious voice that is very much unlike him.

Zalgo just looked at his feet, feeling hurt by her rejection as they walked out.

Splendy and Slendy took Nobu home and put her in her bed so she can rest after that transformation.

In the next couple of days, Nobu worked really hard to try and take back control over Yajuu. With no avail, but she has improved and managed to stay in control for 3 whole minutes now. Zalgo didn't bug her but they could sense him hiding in the shadows and watching from there. Even she noticed it and tried to attack him once, luckily Offendy drew her attention back to Splendy.

Being a Friday, they had Combat Training first, and Nobu had something special planned for her perv of an uncle.

She called Offendy to the middle of the room at the start of the lesson. He got a bit excited as she doesn't usually do that at all.

She morphed a black rose in her hand smirking at him as he looked at it in wonder.

"Did you finally give into my temptation?" he asked excitedly as the others watched.

"I gave into a temptation, yea." She smirked and lobbed the rose at him as he caught it happily. "What are you so excited about, did you forget the meaning of my black rose?" she asked snickering amused.

He looked at her confused for a sec and then down at the rose in his hand.

Flashback

A 6 year old Nobu ran around the garden playing with her uncle Offendy as he chased her. They have been playing all day and sat down under the big tree to take a little rest.

As Nobu was sitting on Offendy's lap, she summoned he black smoke. Even at that age it was one of the things she could do best. She morphed a black rose out of it and held it up to Offendy happily.

"Daddy said that you give people a rose to invite them to play. He said your roses each have a meaning depending on their colour." She grinned up at him as he took it from her smiling.

"He did, didn't he? Now what meaning does your rose hold puppy?" he asked grinning down at her as he put the rose on his fedora.

"Hihi. My black rose represents an invite to a fight of course. Fight me uncle." Nobu grinned as she jumped off him and turned into her Hound form. Still being a child, she was only a younger pup.

"Alright. Are you ready?" he asked as he stood up and shrunk down to the size of a younger teen.

Nobu charged at him as he dodged her claws and fangs and pushed her away gently, only so she would fall to her side. He had to admit she was fast for her age. The more she got into it she started to use her teleport to try and catch him off guard. It never really worked so in the end she ended up being held up by one of his tendrils around her torso, as she never could beat him.

End of flashback

As he remembered, his face dropped. He really was expecting something pervy didn't he?

"That's right. I challenge you to an epic takedown." She said pointing at him with a giant grin on her face.

"Ok, that's fine too. But if I win, you have to reveal your eyes." He said smirking as he put the rose oh his fedora.

"Fair enough, but if I win, you stop perving on everyone for . . . three whole days, starting next Monday." She smirked as he whined, but eventually accepted.

She summoned her black smoke around her hands as it morphed into two black hunting knifes and she took up a fighting stance.

The others just stepped back and decided to watch.

With a smirk Nobu charged at him, using her knifes as a distraction, she jumped on his back and bit his neck from benind. He froze in surprise as everyone stared at her shocked.

Swallowing a bit of his blood she jumped away and got back in front of him.

"Let's make this fight fair, shall we?" she asked as she shifted into a female version of Offendy. She had the same combat boots and black trousers on, with the brown trench coat and fedora. Summoning some black smoke around her breasts, she turned them into black bandages, and undid the belt of the coat so it could hang loose.

Now standing on equal grounds. They charged at each other using their tendrils to attack. Surprisingly Nobu was able keep up with every one of his moves and landed several hits on him. Offendy knew she was serious about this so he gave it his all. There's no way he is spending 3 days without perving on anyone, that would be hell.

Using her copied skills and strength, Nobu attacked Offendy as an equal. They went at each other for most of the lesson, just going back and forth between attacks, blocks and dodges.

In the end she managed to catch him off guard and grabbed his ankle by one of her white tendrils. With as much force as she could muster, she lobbed him against the wall. He went crashing into it and through it, leaving a giant hole in its place.

"Whoops. Didn't mean to do that." Nobu said as she ran after him.

She found him a few meters from the wall, passed out cold.

"I won." She smirked in victory as everyone cheered.

"What do you think you're doing? Now I have to fix the wall. It has a hole in it for fucks sake." Came the angry shout from the Rake. The school's care taker.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to throw him that hard." Nobu apologised, turning back to her normal appearance.

"Get out of here. Shoo." He said waving his hand in a dismissive manner. "And take that with you." He gestured to the unconscious body of Offendy.

Nobu grabbed her uncle by the back of his coat's collar and dragged him all the way to the infirmary. Where she just dropped him on one of the beds and left for her next class.

For the rest of the day she fell asleep in most of her classes. Except SP, which was taught by Zalgo and she actually had to move.

"Nobuki, where's Offender?" Slendy asked as she got to her extra lesson.

"Oh him? I knocked him out earlier in CT." she said like it was no big deal at all.

"What?!" the three brothers asked at the same time. Offendy may be an idiot but he is very strong and extremely hard to catch off guard or knock out.

"Yea. I challenged him to a dual with a black rose. And I beat him." She said grinning up at her uncles.

"Wow. You never cease to amaze me Nobu." Splendy grinned as he hugged her.

"But, how?" Trendy still asked dumbfounded.

"Using his blood I transformed into a female version of him and beat him. Copying is one of my Hound abilities. I just mastered it the other day." She said happily as they smiled back at her proud.

"Nobu!" Offendy yelled from the doorway, with a bag of ice on his head instead of his hat, his coat was missing as well.

"Shit." She jumped and turning to her Hound form, made a mad dash for it.

It took a while of chasing when he finally caught her.

"Damn it puppy. I only wanted to say how proud I am of your achievement." Offendy panted as he put her down so she could shift back.

"Then why did you chase me?" Nobu yelled out of breath. To which Offendy just gave a shrug and sat down leaning on the wall.

"Pfft. You got beaten by a Hell Hound." Splendy laughed holding his stomach.

"Shut up. She's half Slender." Offendy yelled back as he grabbed Splendy's ankle with his tendril and pulled his legs from under him so he hit his head on the floor.

"Ouch." Splendy deadpanned reaching for his top hat.

"I never thought the day will come where your dear niece will wipe the floor with your ass." Trendy teased as well, but he stood out of Offendy's reach, like the smart one that he is.

"You got beaten by a child." Slendy added for good measure.

"Oy." Nobu glared.

"You done yet? Or you gonna rub more salt in the open wound?" Offendy asked un-amused.

"Uh how bout we pour some lemon juice on it?" Splendy grinned as he sat on the floor cross legged.

"*sigh* in all seriousness puppy. You were good. With your copying ability, you're very strong. I don't think you wouldn't have been able to beat me otherwise." Offendy said lighting a cigarette.

"Thanks." Nobu grinned as she sat down beside him.

"Keep telling yourself that. Soon you'll find that she will beat you in her Slender form." Trendy commented as he sat down as well.

"Oh yeah? I'd like to see her try." Offendy smirked, messing up her hair, but she just bit his hand. "Violent." He growled at her holding his bleeding hand.

"Bite me." She glared back.

"Oh, gladly." He grinned but before he could pounce, Slendy held him back with his tendrils, sitting down and completing the circle they made.

"When was the last time we sat down like this?" Splendy asked grinning from his spot.

"Probably when she was still alive." Trendy answered, referring to Nobu's mother and their sister.

"Sorry." Nobu said staring at her lap in regret.

"It wasn't your fault kiddo, don't worry about it." Offendy smiled, giving her a side hug.

"Your parents would be so proud to see you have grown up to be so strong." Slendy said smiling through his words.

"I miss them." Nobu smiled sadly.

"We all do." Trendy spoke for all of them.

"Shall we get back to what we came her for?" Slendy asked like the good eldest brother he is, before the mood got gloomy. But he had to admit that it was nice seeing how Nobu brought the brothers together like this. Offendy being the youngest was always the closest to her, and Splendy being the second oldest was quite mature despite his happy outgoing behaviour. They all got along with her for one reason or another.
