HIYA! Ok I really wanna apologize for this one cause though I like it, its a filler and its sooooo short and its so not what you guys deserve like not at all. But... Enjoy anyway. And review, please please I need the review. Thank you.
Ash did not give one crap about Misty. Not. One.
Ok so he did. He really really did. She had been his dream since they were kids. They had met as children. He was riding his bike back home from School when a group of older kids had decided to try and hijack his bike. He fought back but he was too weak, and just as they were about to run off with his bright yellow pride and joy-
'Hey!' A confident voice called. A girl stood glaring at the group from the end of the street. She had scraped knees, ginger hair and an oversized shirt and she looked so damned vulnerable that Ash was terrified for her. But the kids who had attacked him were not. They were terrified OF her.
'Oh crap! Its Misty, guys shes gonna get her sisters in on this!' And they ran, leaving Ash and his bright yellow bike alone. Ash was in stunned awe of this... Warrior. She was so cool and she was like a whole year older.
'Hey kid, are you ok?' She asked, with a grin and an outstretched hand. Ash knew from then on that this was his destiny, to pay her back for her help, to be with her and make her happy. But then her sisters had to go and screw it up! Arceus he was so... Broken.
After avoiding a majority of his second day he decided to go to his last class. PE, he knew PE. He was good at it and what he lacked in brains he made up for in athletic ability. He had arrived early and after getting into the school mandated gym clothes and sat on the bench, waiting for the rest of his class. The bell rang from last period which meant he still had at least 10 more minutes of alone time... Or so he thought. The door leading from the girls changing rooms swung open and oh Arceus he had such horrible luck. Misty freakin' Waterflower who spotted him and grinning.
"Dont come over dont come over" he begged her mentally. She strode over to him because of course. He was cursed, he knew it, he was freaking cursed.
'Hey, you're one of those new guys from our Registration yesterday right?' She said, plopping down next to him.
'Y-yeah' he nearly punched himself at the sound of his own nervous voice 'Yeah, Ash Ketchum.'
Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to speak but shook her head instead and grinned again.
'Well, welcome to the school. You're lucky someone as awesome as me is here to show you around.' Despite himself he couldn't help but laugh. She hadn't changed.
'Why am I so lucky?' He asked, smirking at her.
She rolled her eyes. 'Cause I'm supposed to be a year ahead. They kept me behind cause I only passed PE. Oh and Biology.'
'At least you passed one academic subject right?' He asked weakly, remembering the state of his grades and suddenly regretting missing classes.
She giggled and nodded. Their classmates began to file in, and the teacher shouted for everyone to pick partners. Misty looked at Ash and held out her hand. 'Its decided. We're friends now and you're my partner. Got it, kid?'
Ash fell all over again.
