Sneaking Out and Fish and Chips

This chapter has been requested by Hollyoaks Lover, Kaitlynrich and a guest. Their combined prompt is Being banned from seeing each other by their mother's isn't enough to keep Jason and Holly apart, it just means the two teens have to be a bit more sneaky than other couples

"Come on Jase," Holly muttered under her breath as she checked her phone for the third time in just under five minutes, hoping her boyfriend would hurry up and appear, so then they could get out of the cold and maybe do a bit of extra warming up.

Teenage relationships are never the easiest of things in your life, but when both families are determined to keep the two members of said relationship away from each other, well it makes it that bit harder.

But Holly and Jason weren't going to let their mothers disapproval keep them apart, no, they loved each other more than words could express and they had to be together. It just meant they had to work around the more... conventional ways of seeing one another.

Of course they could still be around each other at school, the only person there who cared was Robbie, and he wasn't going to dob either of them in at any point in the near future.

But they couldn't really do anything 'couplely' in the school hallways, in fact, they couldn't really move past a quick peck on the cheek, and whilst that was all well and good, when it was the only physical contact you were going to get, it didn't half get old incredibly quickly.

Their lack of proper time together, lead to the young couple quickly choosing to sneak behind their families backs, sneaking out at night so they could be together.

They normally went to the folley, it was a very private area, especially late on at night, as well as surprisingly sheltered from all the outside forces making it the perfect little spot for them. And if they could get up to a little bit extra whilst there, hidden from the rest of the world, well that was their little secret right?

The young blonde's train of thought was halted as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist, bringing her in close. On instinct she stiffened, ready to fight off this mystery man, but then the familiar scent of her boyfriend's deodorant hit her, and she recognised his coat sleeves.

Unable to contain her small smile, Holly turned to give Jason a welcoming kiss, glad to have a bit of privacy for them for the first time in days.

"Sorry I'm late Hol," Jason said softly, once he and Holly had separated. "It's been hectic at home what with Fraser and all that, mum's been really funny about letting us go out."

"Don't worry about it, I'm just glad we can spend some time together," Holly started, though she was quickly interrupted by her stomach rumbling loudly breaking the otherwise silent night. "Sorry.. I went to see Hilton at the hospital and didn't have time to grab anything for dinner."

"We can go and get something now if you want? The chippy should still be open and I'm not going to say no to a bit of extra food. Mum's cooking has gotten even worse since we found out about Fraser."

"Sounds good," Holly smiled, clasping Jason's hand before leaving the folley, loving the feeling of being able to walk down the street hand in hand with him. They could do it at school too, but it wasn't really the same.

There were always so many people, always getting in the way and forcing them to separate, but now, in the real world without a hundred other people crowding into their personal space, they could go at whatever pace they wished to, and the young couple couldn't help but love the feeling, no matter how simple or silly it was to admit.

The walk down to the local fish and chip shop was a quiet one, both teens revelling in their time together, the feeling of their entwined hands, the in time footsteps, echoing through the dark air. The serenity was quickly shattered once they reached the small shop, as they instantly caught sight of Sandy in the small front room, chatting to one of the ladies on the counter.

As soon as Jason saw his mum only feet away from him and the very girl he had been banned from seeing, he stopped and jumped into the accompanying alleyway, dragging a surprised Holly with him.

"What's your mum doing here?" she asked, eyes wide as she realised just how close to being caught they had been, though Holly found herself unable to complain about the current position she and Jason were in. In his haste to get out of Sandy's line of sight, Jason had found himself pushing Holly so her back was against the wall, pressing himself against her as he did so.

They were so close you wouldn't even be able to get a piece of paper between the two teens, Holly could feel Jason's heartbeat, thundering loudly at the rush of adrenalin, more clearly than she could hear her own, and she was sure it was the same story for him too.

She found herself leaning in, their lips meeting as they kissed, slowly and softly. She readily parted her lips when she felt Jason's tongue press them again, going completely weak at the knees as time passed.

In her sixteen years, Holly had kissed a fair amount of boys (some girls too), but they could never compare to her kisses with Jason. There was nothing wrong with the other people she had been with per say, it wasn't like she was kissing someone who simply couldn't do it, but there was never that spark. Her mind would begin to wander, she'd think about other things whilst under the pretence she was completely lost in her actions, but that was simply not the case when she and Jason were together.

Every kiss they shared was electric, felt like fireworks were going off and Holly couldn't imagine ever growing tired of it. She had fallen hard for the older boy, had never expected to do so, but she wasn't going to complain anytime soon.

Jason was her everything and Holly would move heaven and earth for him.

"Ahem," the sound of a throat clearing just feet away from got the young couple to separate, their bliss short lived as they realised it was Sandy who had interrupted them. Too lost in their actions, to remember to keep an eye on the nurse's current whereabouts, not even hearing the chippy shop door open and close as she left to go back home.

"Interrupting something am I?" She asked, arching a brow as she spoke, though Sandy didn't look too annoyed at the sight in front of her, which helped ease Holly's nerves about surviving this rather impromptu meeting.

"Uh no, mum this isn't what-"

"Save it J," Sandy said, cutting off Jason's ramblings with ease. "You've got plenty of time to see Holly tomorrow, but it's getting late. You two should really be heading back to your separate homes now," Sandy shot the couple a stern look when they looked ready to argue.

"See you at school then," Jason said, giving Holly a chaste kiss on the cheek before moving to go back home, not cocky enough to do more when his mother was less than five feet away and watching the events unfold like a hawk.

Holly sent him a weak smile, copying his farewell before heading off to her own flat, disgruntled that her romantic evening with Jason had been cut short, though there was nothing they could really do about it.

Maybe they'd be able to sneak away at lunch tomorrow, to have some proper alone time, but before Holly could think more into it, Cindy's cry hit her ears the second she had entered their tiny flat.

"What's this about you meeting up with Jason Roscoe again?"

Holly sighed, as she realised that tomorrow lunch was going to be a very long way off, especially if she had to deal with her mum's nagging once more. Would she ever get to be with Jason properly? One could only hope hey?

A nice cutesy little one-shot, something the show isn't having a lot of recently!

Next Chapter - Darren finds himself spending the week at the Roscoe's house and if that's not bad enough, he has to share a room with one of his brothers. But are his new-found family really as bad as they seem? - prompted by LawyerlyBrunette and Luis
