At first Naruto had been proud of himself, extremely so. He had destroyed the Hokage monument and in doing so he had destroyed one of the most symbolic structures in Konoha! And he had done it whilst experimenting on what would happen if he had merged to attacks together. Although it admittedly needed a bit of work in his opinion. What he had created had been powerful and destructive, but at the same time it was uncontrollable. But that was to be expected so the blond just shrugged it off for the moment, wishing to take in his brilliant accomplishment.

The 9 year old boy would have been jumping up and down in pure, somewhat insane, joy had it not been for the large number of ANBU that had immediately raced to his location after his 'little experiment' had been carried out.

He had honestly been hoping that he could at least have a few moments to congratulate himself on destroying this messes up village's symbol of pride, honour and hope. But was he given a few moments? Of course not! The ANBU had located the site of where the attack had been fired quickly, that was for sure. But then again, who wouldn't have? A giant beam consisting of multiple dark colours had been fired, leaving a path of absolute nothingness in its path towards its destination.

There was quite literally nothing left of anything that the beam had collided with. No grass, no trees, no residents, no animals, no life. Heck! It even took a while for the air to make its way back into the area that had been turned into nothingness.

And so, it was quite obvious as to why the ANBU knew the exact location the beam had been fired and had managed to arrive so quickly.

When Naruto looked around and saw that he had been completely surrounded by ANBU only one thought entered his mind.

'Shit…'

'Naruto-san, maybe you shouldn't have aimed it at the monument?'

It was more of a rather late suggestion than anything else and the one who had said it had been the only somewhat smart one out of Naruto and the other occupants in his mind.

'Shut up Silver.'

Oh well, all he had to do to get out of this mess was to give the old man Hokage the puppy dog eyes and make up some bullshit excuse about being framed by talking chipmunks and he would be safe, that always worked.

Or maybe not, althoughhe felt rather amused as his current predicament was a first for him…. The Hokage hadn't believe a word of what he had said and then what does the old man do? He goes and sends an ANBU to get some guy named Jiraiya for kami knows what reason. That had been an hour ago and something told Naruto that he should be recognising the name of the man the Hokage was bringing here.

'Damn it!'

All of a sudden there was another occupant in the room and he looked like a surprised old man, with all his white hair and all.

This man was someone that Naruto recognised instantly from the many tales Kurama had told him about his previous hosts, the seal master….. What was his name again? Oh yeah! Jira…iya….

It all became clear to the blond Uzumaki in that moment, they were going to check his seal….

'Ohhhh crap… I need to think of something to get me out of this mess!' And think of something he did while the old men in the room were discussing something that, at this point in time Naruto didn't give a shit about.

What if he put a mask of emotions that would make one pity him over his mask of stupidity and fake smiles? It could work, now to begin operation Get The Heck Out Of This Room As Soon As Possi-

"-midget blond gaki in the room has anything to do about it" On second thoughts, maybe he should just slaughter everyone in the room. No, that wouldn't be a good idea, he would be put in the bingo books if he did that… and he really didn't want to have to go through the trouble of bounty hunters and ninjas from hidden villages coming after him….

Instead he just decided to release a 'small' amount of killing intent only directed at his godfather. Yes he knew all about his parents, that was discovered when Kurama gave him some of his tails. They had to destroy most of the seal for that, thus resulting in him meeting both of his parents and Kurama having a tasty midnight snack.

It took a while for Naruto to realise the mistake he had made when he had released his a little of his killing intent, now he wouldn't be able to play off as a hyperactive knucklehead or act in a way to gain the rooms occupants pity, even if only one person had felt his killing intent.

He did the next best thing, which was also a last resort in his opinion. He didn't want anyone to see the darkness and despair his eyes held, the hatred, the pain, the sadness. He never wanted anyone to even catch a glimpse of his weakness.

But if it was to prevent them from finding out about what he had done then so be it. If it was in order to protect those living within his mind then so be it!

And so, noticing that Jiraiya had noticed the emotions his eyes contained Naruto mouthed the only words he could think to mouth.

'Save me'

Well, at least his plan had got most of the rooms occupants out, the only two left being him and his godfather. Now what was he going to do? He hadn't thought things through that far and the worst part of it all? He could vaguely hear three hedgehogs and one fox sleeping peacefully, as if the situation didn't concern them at all.

"Alright gaki, I've got a lot of questions for you but for now I'm going to need to look at something so lift up your shirt."

Naruto knew then and there, he knew what was going to happen should he show Jiraiya the remains of the seal, but for some reason the way the man had spoken had gotten to him. His voice had contained nothing but concern and it wasn't directed at the village hidden in the leaves, it was directed at him. There wasn't a hint of the usual pity or hate, just worry and that made Naruto feel strange.

Never in his 9 years of living had he been around a human who didn't hold hate nor pity towards him, the only ones to ever except him were those who lived in his mind, and they didn't really count on his list of 'Humans that don't hate or pity me'.

He didn't know why he felt the urge to do as his godfather said, he could not only get himself into trouble but also those who reside within him as well.

As he lifted his shirt he took notice of how Jiraiya had paled considerably. He knew he had made the wrong choice to show this human his seal after only just meeting the man, but he couldn't help but do it. This old man had done something that no human had ever been able to do before.

He had managed to find a place in Naruto's heart, even if it was in a small dark corner of it, it counted for something. And now he was most likely going to be restrained and locked up with guards on him 24/7.

"Ok gaki, you have some explaining to do." But that wouldn't stop him from messing with his godfather for a while before that happened.

The fake look of confusion that had been on the boy's face since the ANBU first came and took him to the Hokage started to turn into a smirk, at least he would make his last moments of his 'freedom' somewhat interesting.At least, that had been the plan, too mess with the white haired man's mind. But what Jiraiya said next prevented it from happening.

The white haired man had become more serious then when he had first entered the room as he spoke the words that would most likely change Naruto's life forever, they were words that would most likely set him free.

At first the man sighed, as if trying to figure out how something complicated would work.

"Alright Naruto, I'm going to need to know about what's happened with the seal as well as why your hiding your true appearance with another seal, but that can come later on. Right now I'm going to make you an offer that should get you out of Konaha for a while." While Naruto had been surprised at first, he then had a rather interesting thought about his godfather.

"Is this guy an idiot?"

'I'm going to have to say yes to that Naruto, he's an idiot. He realised that the seal is almost completely destroyed and he still believes that it's you he's talking to when it should be obvious that it could be either of us. Also, I would be careful not to say things like that out loud.' It seemed that the 'almighty kyuubi' had woken up.

Oh shit, he had said that aloud? No wonder Jiraiya was giving him a questioning look. But he soon saw that questioning look turn into a somewhat pleased smile.

"Hmmmm? Is that really the first thing that you're going to say to me? The great toad sage and super pervert Jiraiya!"

"Yes." It was a simple answer on Naruto's point. But really, was this guy really admitting to be a pervert? Yes, definitely an idiot.

"Oh come on gaki! And to think I was going to take you out of Konoha for a few years! But I guess I'll just go and get some other random Jinchuriki with a mostly destroyed seal and take them with me instead…." Naruto's eyes widened considerably, this man was going to take him out of the hell hole known as Konoha? He wasn't going to trust the man, he wouldn't and he couldn't. But it was a good opportunity to escape the village.

"What the hell Ero-Sennin! I'll come with you! Take me with you!" The blond said as he ran up to Jiraiya and gripped onto the old man's waist, clinging to it like it was the only thing preventing him from falling into a pool of lava. He couldn't believe he was doing this, it wasn't in his nature to act like he was now. It would have hurt his pride had one question not been in his mind.

'How is he going to get me out of Konoha anyway?'

"Alright gaki, I'll take you with me as long as you tell me what I need to know after we have left. But first I need you to act like you normally do when your around the Hokage, ok? Don't worry, I have a plan." Ah yes, this man was an idiot. But Naruto couldn't help but wonder what was going on in the idiotic mind that belonged to this man, Jiraiya.

Ok, this chapter has actually been finished for quite some time but for one reason or another I had yet to post it.

This chapter isn't betaed, but I have re-read it over and over again throughout the last few weeks.
