Twisted Revenge

This chapter has been requested Becky and her prompt was There's a reason why Robbie and Jason never talk about their Dad, he's an evil and twisted man who last time they checked was rotting away in a prison cell because of assault. But now he's a free man once more and determined to get revenge on the family who got him imprisoned

There was a reason why Robbie and Jason never mentioned their Dad to anyone, why they always froze when someone talked about him or asked why their last name was Roscoe. They hated him, no more than that if that was possible.

Vinny Sanders was an evil and twisted man who last time they checked was rotting away in a prison cell because of assault. They had been only eight when it had happened, but after learning the true nature of their father, the twins had quickly vowed to never have anything to do with him again, not wanting to associate themselves with someone so dark and brutal.

They thought that their Dad had completely left their lives when they were eight, were satisfied with that and didn't care about how life on the inside was treating him, but unknown to the whole Roscoe clan, as of May 2014, Vinny Sanders was a newly freed man, and he was determined to get his revenge.

The tight knit family had ruined his life all those years ago, Sandy had been the one to report him, the three elder brothers pinning him down till the police arrived, his own flesh and blood doing nothing but watching in disgust as he was led away to the police car. They had completely destroyed his life, and Vinny deserved his payback, especially on that bitch that was his ex-girlfriend. And boy, was he going to make the revenge sweet.

Just left mine, should be at yours in 10 X. Jason re-read over his text message to Holly before pressing the send button, glad that he was getting a small break from the constant revision that had been plaguing him over recent weeks. A-levels were no walk in the park, but everyone needed a break, and if that consisted of getting up close and personal with his beautiful and sexy girlfriend, well Jason wasn't going to complain.

As he read over the reply from the young blonde in question, the teen didn't notice the white van pulling up next to him, didn't think anything of the guy getting out, not until he felt himself being pushed into the back of the vehicle, too shocked to fight back. In fact, his shock had been so great, he had dropped his phone on the pavement below, text from Holly still open and with no reply sent.

"All right I'm coming!" Ziggy called out as the doorbell rang for the second time. "Keep your wig on- Holly? What are you doing here?"

"You haven't seen Jason have you?" The blonde asked, entering the house when Ziggy motioned for her to do so. "He was meant to meet me at mine about half an hour ago, but he never showed."

"Have you rung him?" the older man asked, not sharing the same worry that Holly was currently feeling.

"Oh thanks Zig, I never thought about that, of course I have!" Holly snapped, just as Joe came down the stairs to greet the rather unusual situation.

"What's going on here then?"

"Jason's not answering his phone and he was meant to meet me ages ago. I came round to see if he was here," Holly said, teeth teasing her bottom lip as she tried to keep her nerve.

"It's probably nothing to worry about Hol," Joe said, trying his best to reassure the teen. "This is standard behaviour for J when exams start, you must have realised how stressed he can get. He just gets really focused on them is all, and forgets how to act like a normal human being. He's probably went to the library before meeting you, and completely forgot that he had plans. If he shows up we'll tell him you were here."

"Okay," Holly nodded, biting her lip as she realised just how much she had over-reacted. Of course Jason was just worked up about exams, there was nothing for her to be worried about. If her boyfriend was at the library he'd probably turned off his mobile and that was why he wasn't picking up, it wasn't anything big. "Thanks, makes sure he calls me though."

"Yeah we will," Joe smiled warmly as the blonde turned to the front door, ready to leave and go back home, her afternoon now empty as Jason had seemingly forgotten they were meeting up.

It stung, was she really that forgettable to the older teen? She didn't really feel at ease believing what his brothers had told her, after all Jason was so good at remembering when they had plans, he had never missed a date yet, so it didn't strike well with her.

But at the same time, they were his brothers, they knew him a lot better than she ever would, so Holly had to believe that what she was told was the truth. Either way, she'd be having words with her boyfriend later, and he'd have a lot of grovelling to do to make it up to her.

Her train of thought was broken off as she almost ran straight into Robbie, her boyfriend's twin paying the world no mind as he was too busy texting. "Woah Hol, watch where your going!"

"Me?" Holly asked, irritation seeping into her tone. "You were the one who almost walked into me!"

"And you need to lighten up. Jase not doing it for you? Leaving you unsatisfied?" Robbie leered, chuckling when Holly moved to hit him, dodging out of the way before her hand could make contact.

"Jason is just fine! You haven't seen him have you? He was meant to meet me ages ago, but he's not answering his phone, and I went over to yours but your brothers didn't know anything either."

"Haven't seen him, sorry Hol," Robbie said, shooting her an apologetic look. "He's probably gotten lost in the world of maths revision or something."

"Yeah that's what Joe said. If you see him, can you get him to call me?" Holly sighed, smiling in thanks when Robbie nodded. Soon after, the two teens split going back to their respective homes. As he walked, Robbie dialled Jason's mobile number, fully looking forward to getting to taunt his brother for pissing Holly off, though there was no answer. However, as he walked he heard a very familiar ring tone, which cut off the second Robbie ended the call.

"All right Jase, I know you're there. Avoiding Holly's calls forever isn't going to get you very far, you'll have to face up to the music at some po-" Robbie was cut off as he turned the corner to see no sign of his brother. Nothing apart from his mobile lying on the pavement, abandoned, a large crack on the screen from when Jason had dropped it.

It left Robbie with one question, where was Jason? Because he would never just leave his mobile lying on the floor like it currently was.

Jason didn't know where he was. Didn't know why either. All he knew was that his maniac of a father had kidnapped him off the very streets, bundling him into a small white van. He had tried to escape, but the van doors were locked tight, leaving him to wonder what exactly Vinny was going to do to him, as they drove down the streets of Chester.

He had tried to fight his dad off when the older man had re-opened the van doors, but a blow to the stomach had left him completely winded. Now he was in some form of a warehouse, tightly tied him to a small, incredibly uncomfortable wooden chair whilst Vinny lorded it over him, clearly enjoying the dominance he held.

"Roscoe are you now J?" He sneered as he rifled through Jason's wallet, glaring at his driving license with disgust. "My surname not good enough for you and your brother I see, had to fully become part of that family."

"Well I didn't exactly want your name reminding me of who I was related to. Everytime I saw it, it made me feel sick. Both me and Robbie." Jason spat, his glare even more heated than Vinny's.

"You two were always too much like your mother you know that? Always sticking your nose in where it wasn't wanted, never satisfied with what I told you, had to keep on digging."

"I think we had good reason to, seeing as you left someone for dead when they didn't hand over their purse." Jason cut in, but Vinny paid him no heed. He had spent too long focusing on getting revenge on his family, but first he was going to make them listen to him, say what he had wanted to for all these years.

"You were the reason I was sent down, you and your skank of a mother. And now you're lording that dead bastard's name around like it's something to be proud of. Well you're wrong there lad, I don't like being betrayed, and you can be certain I'm going to get my payback, on the whole family, not just you. You were the one who I managed to get alone first is all J, don't think you're special or nothing, don't want that going to your already over-inflated ego."

"They'll find me, the others that is, and then they'll send you straight back to prison, this time to rot," Jason spat, his vicious words being cut off when Vinny's fist connected with his jaw, silencing him as he tried not to cry out in pain. Vinny wanted to see that though, wanted to see his son suffering, and Jason was damned if he was going to let that happen.

"Shut it you, or you'll get another hit. Could never stay quiet could you? You or Robbie, both had to keep gobbing, drove me right up the wall."

"We were seven years old, we were kids, it's what they do!"

"And yet in the last ten years you still haven't learnt your lesson." Vinny snarled, punching Jason again. And again. And again, till Jason could no longer hold in the screams, trying to work through the pain that came from all angles whilst desperately trying to hold onto his consciousness.

"Has J come back yet?" Robbie yelled as soon as he had entered the family home, catching everyone's attention from where they were lounging in the living room, enjoying their rare days of peace and quiet.

"Don't tell us that Holly's got you into a tizzy too?" Ziggy sighed, not looking up from his phone. "You know Jase, he's probably forgotten all about his social life due to revision."

"Yeah that's what I thought, but then I found this on the pavement outside the village," Robbie said, holding up his brother's phone.

"It may have fallen from his pocket without him noticing," Sandy said, not convinced that there was anything to really worry about.

"That doesn't really sound like Jase though," Robbie said, unconvinced that that was what had really happened and growing increasingly worried. Before he could say anything else, the phone in question began vibrating in his hand, signalling an incoming phone call.

"You'll see, that'll be J now. He'll probably be calling off a friend's phone, I've done it countless times," Joe said, turning back to the garage's bills without a second thought.

Realising there was logic behind what his brother was saying, Robbie answered the phone without a second thought. "Don't get your knickers in a twist J. I found your phone in the middle of the street, you absolute pillock."

"I hope Sandy will give you a clip around the ear for that sort of language," a cool voice said on the other line, its sultry tones causing Robbie to freeze up as he placed it almost instantly. "That sort of language is awful, I'd never put up with it myself. Though Jason here seems to have picked up on the same vulgarities, but don't worry, I've sorted him out."

"What have you done to him you bastard?" Robbie hissed to his father, his cold tone instantly catching his family's attention.

"Again with the swearing, it's an awful habit Robert. I'd punish you if I was there, but I guess I'll just have to give Jason a beating, see if that twin telepathy really does exist."

"I swear to God, if you touch him I'll kill you," Robbie was almost shaking with rage now. The last person he ever expected to hear from was his absentee father, and that fact had more than delighted him. But Vinny was seemingly out of prison now, with Jason in his clutches at that.

"Rob who is it? What's happened?" Freddie asked, sharing a confused look with Joe as they tried to think of something, anything that would have caused such a reaction from their brother.

"Ahh is that Freddie I'm hearing?" Vinny asked with a laugh, more than delighted that there were more people he could screw with. "Put the phone on loudspeaker like a good little boy Robbie, otherwise your twin may be walking away with a few cracked ribs."

Begrudgingly Robbie did as was instructed, placing the mobile on the coffee table to give everyone a better chance of hearing what Vinny had to say, whilst removing the urge to smash it into a million tiny pieces, to stop the sadistic words leaving Vinny's mouth.

"Now I know Freddie and Robbie are both there," Vinny's voice crowed out, causing the family to all exchange horrified looks with one another, as they realised just what sort of situation Jason was in. "But who else I wonder? Ziggy? Joe? Maybe even his pretty girlfriend? What was her name, Lucy? No, Lindsey."

"We're all here," Sandy snapped, having not missed her ex's mindgames one little bit.

"Oh good, then there's no need to repeat myself, that just gets boring," Vinny said, and it was almost possible to hear the smirk that was no doubt present.

"What have you done to Jase? What do you want?" Joe said, interrupting whatever Vinny was going to say. He didn't have the patience to beat around the bush, he needed to know if his brother was okay, and he needed to know that very instant.

"I see you're still playing the overprotective brother role there Joe, some things never change do they?"

"Just answer the damn question," Joe hissed, glaring at the phone, as if by doing so Vinny would suddenly start talking.

"Your brother is fine, a little bit bruised, the odd fracture here and there, but he should survive. I can of course change this in an instance if you try and do something stupid," Vinny said softly, breathing into the phone. "I mean, we wouldn't want to hear anything like this from Jason would we?"

As he spoke, a loud crack filled the air, followed by Jason screaming, it so loud it made the phone speaker start to crackle.

"Stop it!" Sandy screamed down the phone, face pale as she could only imagine what Vinny was doing to her youngest. "Why are you even doing this?"

"This is revenge Sandy, you got me locked up for nine years! If you had just kept you mouth shut then we wouldn't have been in this situation, but know, you were your usual interfering self. Couldn't run to the police quick enough could you? Well now I'm getting my revenge, and darling little Jason is just the first. I'm going to get to all of you, mark my words Sandy. You ruined my life, now I'm going to do exactly the same for you."

Before anymore could be said, Vinny had hung up, leaving the Roscoe's in silence as they tried to wrap their heads around what had just occurred, and what may still be happening to Jason.

"We have to stop Vinny," Ziggy said decisively, visibly willing to do whatever it took to get Vinny the punishment he deserved, and to more importantly, save Jason.

"Well how are we going to do that one Einstein?" Robbie snapped, genuinely terrified on what his dad could do to his twin. There wasn't time to speculate, they had to save Jason and they had to do it now. "Because last time I checked Vinny didn't give us a clear cut address on where he's keeping J."

"No he didn't," Lindsey said, speaking up for the first time and staring at her phone intently. "But I think I know something that may help. When Vinny was on the phone, an announcement kept being made in the background. It said to leave the West South end of the bank clear between the two signalled pillars as Lady Diana would be docking shortly."

"Lady Diana?" Ziggy asked, even more lost than he had been confused.

"That's one of those Chester cruises they do," Sandy realised, gasping as slowly the dots all began to piece themselves together. "Fraser took me on a romantic date night on one of the boats, which was the Lady Diana. The boats travel on the river Dee, it's only twenty minutes away from us."

Although he wanted nothing more than to jump straight into his car and to the River Dee where Jason was sure to be, Joe knew he had to stay smart.

"That's a huge river though mum, and well, Jason could be anywhere."

"The boat only docks at one spot on the river, and there's about half a dozen warehouses there, all of which have been empty for years," Sandy said hurriedly, grabbing her coat as she spoke, trying to not think too deeply as to why she knew all this.

Fraser had always been a bit of a history and geography nut, delighted in telling Sandy all the facts he could about whatever area they were currently in. Their date night on the Lady Diana had been no different. "My guess is Jason and Vinny will be in one of those."

"And if they're not?"

"We don't know till we try, but it's a lot better than sitting here twiddling our thumbs, till Vinny comes to us. I'm not letting him have the control, not again." Without saying anything else, Sandy walked out of the house and to the car, unlocking it with Robbie and Freddie close on her heels, the rest of the family choosing to take the other car.

The two vehicles quickly peeled out of the driveway, shooting up the road to the nearby warehouses, there was no time to lose.

}}}}}}}}}}

"You're not going to get away with this," Jason wheezed as Vinny took another hit, effectively winding him and in turn silencing the teen in the process. It had just been over two hours since his own father had kidnapped him, but it had been the longest two hours in Jason's life, and the most painful. Once Vinny had hung up on Sandy, he had quickly turned to his new favourite game of beating up Jason.

Any remorse, any uncertainty about hurting his own son was hidden incredibly well, because Vinny seemed to almost enjoy hurting Jason, going above the call of duty. The youngest Roscoe knew that if he ever walked away from this warehouse, the recovery time till he was all in one piece was going to be astonishingly long, hell, he wasn't sure he'd even be able to walk out of the building.

Everywhere hurt, blood was caking his vision and Jason knew it wouldn't take long before he lost consciousness, he just hoped it wouldn't be for the last time.

"See you talk the talk Jason, but you've never been able to walk the walk. Trying to act the big man like your brothers I see? It works for them, they're big strong men, you, well you're just pathetic. I know when I get a hold of them they'll be much more of a fight.

"It'll take a lot longer to get rid of them, but you've barely even got half an hour left. I can see it in your eyes, you want to give up, to go into the darkness, and I'm telling you to do just that Jase. No-one wants you here, you're pathetic and it'll make my job a hell of a lot easier. I can't wait to see that stupid bitch that you call a mum's face when she realises that you're dead, oh it's going to be so -"

"Hey!" Vinny's deluded ranting was cut off by the presence of Freddie, pulling open the door of the small warehouse, instantly catching sight of both men, Jason tied to a small chair, caked in blood and visibly weakened, with Vinny lording it over him, clearly enjoying the power he had over his son.

That changed the second he saw Freddie, quickly backed up by his four remaining brothers, eyes dark as they realised just how monstrous Vinny really was. The older man began to back away, looking for some sort of exit so he could escape, but the warehouse was small and there was only one door, which was currently being blocked by the four Roscoe brothers.

"What you going to do hey?" Vinny sneered, realising now that he was going to go down, but he refused point blank to go down without a fight, though as he spoke he began taking careful steps back, fully aware that the Roscoe's were coming ever closer, determined to surround him.

"We're going to make you pay," Joe snarled, breaking his slow and steady pace to run at Vinny, tackling him to the ground in seconds and punching him square on the jaw, knocking the older man out instantly.

He wanted nothing more than to keep the man below him, subject him to the pain that Jason had in the past couple of hours, but the cry from Lindsey as she sat by Jason, trying to assess his multiple injuries as best as she could, knocked him out of it.

That scum could wait, his brother needed him.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Ziggy asked frantically as he ran over to Jason, helping Sandy to untie the knots that were bounding him to the chair back.

"It's hard to say, but there's a good few broken bones and he's losing a lot of blood, especially from a head wound," Lindsey reported, checking his pulse when Jason was laid out on to the floor, trying her best not to agitate his injuries further.

"His pulse is barely there, we need to get him to a hospital and now."

}}}}}}}}}}}

Despite only being held by Vinny for two hours and ten minutes, Jason's injuries were more than extensive. He had three broken ribs, a fractured kneecap, four dislocated fingers and his right arm had practically been shattered. Pair all that with the severe concussion and the large amount of blood he had lost also, well it left the teen a little worse for wear and with a lengthy hospital stay in front of him.

Overall though he had been okay, especially when he had been picked up by the ambulance, the paramedics quickly getting to work on strengthening his pulse and doing what they could to help with any injuries.

It was his mental being that was in the worse state, as many a night, Jason found himself awoken by nightmares of what had happened to him that fateful day, but with the knowledge that Vinny had a long and lengthy prison stay ahead of him, with little to no chance of ever getting out, as well as the fact that he had his family all there for him, unwilling to leave him whenever they could manage it, Jason knew he could be okay one day. He just had a bit of fighting to do first.
