Author's Note:

Yeah, so here's my Chapter Two :) Just so you know, I was still a kid when I decided to write this story so yeah... I forgot half of the plot line and I really hope that the story won't be messed up... Nevermind =_= Just get to the story xD

Chapter Two:

'My heart is pounding. It can't be...' Gilbert thought as he vigorously clutch the Teutonic Cross near his chest. Eyes wide, heart beats fast.

While practically roaming around the school that they have chosen to photoshoot at , something caught his eyes.

A necklace that was very familiar to him. And that was the Cross that he had given to Maria. He can't be wrong because when he flipped the cross, he saw his name engraved to it. It was old.

'Was that really long?' He shut his eyes in pain. Antonio and Francis was not with him, he chose to be alone for some time.

To be honest, this was really out of his character. But what can he do? Everytime that he taught of Maria all he could actually think about is having her back to his arms again.

With no hesitation, he slipped the cross into his pocket and hurriedly stood up. His thoughts is now clear. 'Maria is here and I'm going to look for her.'

He can't wait to tell the good news to Antonio.

Hyacinth was alone, sweaty, has already the smell of dirt and grass, and most of all, irritated. How can she be so foolish and clumsy and-

"Okay! Stop! Just stop. Me. Myself. It's my own fault!" She's mentally breaking down obviously.

It was late afternoon and classes was over because their School Principal (miraculously) decided to have a half-day probably because the commotion won't just stop between the students and the faculty staffs because the "BTW" or "BTT" or whatever was that was here awhile ago.

Though, it's pretty much obvious that "they are not here" anymore, much to the students' (and Teachers') disappointment.

"I seriously have to find that thing or else I'll kill myself- Whoops!" She was about to stand up when she accidentally hit a hard pole from her back. 'Wait, there was no a hard pole here.'

It was clear as she remembered, there was no pole at this side of bush so she probably hit on something... Or, someone.

"Whoops! Was it? My, my, what a pretty young lady." The anonymous guy said.

'So it was a person...And a guy... What a funny accent.' She thought then turned to look at him.

She winced a bit. She saw this guy from somewhere and she felt a bit intimidated.

"I'm sorry Sir..." At first, she thought that it was a new professor or something. But it was blonde, tall and white- For a fact, it was a foreigner. He can't be just a Professor.

She looked up, "Are you an exchange student?" She blurted out. She should really practice to step on her break.

The guy was first startled but it was immediately changed with amusement.

"I see." He chuckled and looked down to her, smiling warmly."Something like that. I'm Francis Bonnefoy." He held his hand out.

She wasn't scared at him, not at all. Which is oddly new to her since she's not really good at socializing with people.

She accepted his hand and was greeted with the warm feeling of it. 'I've missed this.' She was confused. How could she missed it when she actually doesn't know this person?

"Hyacinth Samonte. Nice meeting you Sir Francis." She smiled and let go.

She had seen his face before. Somewhere...

Just when she's about to ask her whereabouts a man shouted towards their way.

"Oi Francis!" A man with grey/white hair came rushing towards them. His eyes were red, a flaring one. It was the most wonderful eyes she has ever seen.

Hyacinth was stunned. It's a good thing that she came up with her senses again.

"What, flirting with another lady again?" The man grinned.

Francis raised an eyebrow, "Non! Don't say something like that Gil, she might get scared." he said softly.

Hyacinth just stared there blankly wondering why she felt so nostalgic about the two men standing infront of her, not minding their own business.

The Red-eyed man looked down to her, "Is she a fan?"

Her thoughts were jumbled but were able to speak out, "No, no. I am not a fan. Not an Electric-fan either..."

"Ah..." The man couldn't get her. 'Is she drunk?' He thought.

He stared at her for a minute. Suddenly, there was this rush of emotion that came up to him. Something that he just can't put aside (Even if she's pretty weird).

He wanted to know her name. It seems that somewhere, he had to.

"Hm, what's your na-" He was cut off.

"Oh no! It's already five o'clock! Have I searched for that long?! Please pardon me but I must excuse myself now." As she took off, she waved a hand for them.

"Bye Sir Francis! Nice meeting you and nice meeting you too Red-eyed man. And ahm, just forget what I have said earlier!" And with that she ran off.

She left the two young men there.

"Goodbye Hyacinth,'till we meet again." Francis said , almost like a whisper.

Gilbert looked at him. "You knew her?"

"No, we've just met."

"What was her name again? Gilbert asked, putting his one hand at his pocket.

Puzzled, still,Francis answered. "Hyacinth Samonte if my memory is correct."They started to walk off.

"She's searching for something right?" Gilbert then took out the Cross.

"Oui. She's something wasn't she?"

Gilbert nodded and looked at the cross with confusion. He had this feeling before, his heart was thumping like crazy but ofcourse, he won't show it.

"What's that? Your Teutonic Cross?" Francis chirped and his thoughts was blown away.

"Y-yeah... I mean, no! This was Maria's! I forgot, we must tell this to Antonio, I think Maria is here." He really forgot about telling it to his friend. He was too focused about the girl.

Francis was startled about his news. "What a great thing indeed!" The man was happy ofcourse but still couldn't digest it. It was just too fast.

Francis thinks that Gilbert has a serious Bipolar issues.

Gilbert put the Teutonic Cross at the table, presenting it to Antonio.

"What is it all about?" Antonio stared at it.

Gilbert sighed, should he really explain it? "It was Maria's..."

Antonio was dumbfounded. "How can she have your Teutonic Cross?"

"I gave it to her as a present, before the incident happened." Gilbert's voice was low.

Antonio was unsure: "How could you know that this is the Cross that you gave to her?"

Gilbert flipped the cross over and pointed out his name on it. "This, a purposely engraved my name there so when she wears it..." It's near to her heart. "Just, it's hers."

Antonio's eyes shone with hope. "Then, she's really alive!"

"A country can't just die my dear Friend." Francis spoke as he sipped his wine.

"Right, do you have an idea who she might be now or where exactly she is?'' Antonio asked.

"Nein..." Gilbert looked down.

Francis stood, "It's okay, we can start tomorrow again. We have plenty of time to search for her. For now, let us retire ourselves to this school private dorm. Let us not waste our energy."

And with that, they have agreed to their friend.

Antonio, at his part, finally have his peace of mind and finally slept with a smile on his face. In the other hand, Gilbert, who was wide awake couldn't get his mind off with the girl he just saw.

That hair and that eyes. He knew her somewhere, he just can't remember her.

His memories is seemed to be buried with the paintings of a woman that is already faded by the time.
