Hello, my lovely readers. It is that time again. Dare Club time! Yes, that did sound incredibly dorky. I will not say who the double birthday kids are. However, you can always take a guess. Without further ado…

Chapter 19: Matt's Birthday

I was extremely bored on a bright and shiny Sunday afternoon staring at the ceiling of my room. Elijah had gone to the movies with Katherine. Finn was off with Sage doing God knew what. My parents were around somewhere. Bekah and Kol had headed off to Matt Donavon's birthday party. I refused to attend because unlike Tyler, Matt had gone against my orders and invited the Salvatores.

I was boycotting the event. It might have been a little bit much when I ordered Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Tyler to not go to the party either. There was no way I could convince my younger siblings to not go, nor could I hold sway over the youngest Gilbert, who was attached to my baby brother. Now, I was staring at the ceiling trying to think of what to do.

Getting up, I decided to go find Caroline. If she wasn't at Matt's, she was probably at home. Walking outside, I picked my bike up and began to pedal toward the Forbes' home. I was greeted by Liz. "Hello, Sheriff, is Caroline at home?"

"Sorry, sweetie, she went to Elena's. But she should be back around eight. You could come over for an hour but she'll have to go to bed after that," Liz informed me with a smile.

I thanked her with a smile of my own before turning around and riding to Elena's. I was a frequent visitor at the Gilbert's and they didn't have to know I was there for Care, not Lena. When I rang the doorbell, Grayson Gilbert answered. "Why hello, Niklaus. How are you today?"

"I'm okay, Is Lena here?" I inquired with another wide smile.

Grayson began to shake his head with another smile, "Sorry, she's at -"

I finished for him, "Bonnie's?" I already knew where the girls really were. I didn't need to be psychic.

"Yeah, how did you know?" Grayson asked with another one of those parent smiles.

I stopped with the pretense and then smirked, "Let's just say I know how the girls I hang with think," I told the man before scowling and then I turned my bike around. "They're a bunch of liars," I shouted before pedaling as fast as I could to Donavon's house.

Pulling my jacket closer to my body, I came over to peer in the window of the living room. Standing in the middle of the room was my former best friend with a blindfold over his eyes. He was attempting to grab at people. I watched him spin around, when he grabbed someone's dress and pulled them into view. I expected to see Elena, but my little heart stopped when I saw Damon hugging my Caroline.

Feeling uncontrollable rage fill my body, I began to shake before stepping back. I walked down the block and then up the block. Taking a deep breathe, I walked back to see Caroline with the blindfold on now. She was walking around the room in search of someone to grab. I saw Elena and Bonnie giggling as they escaped her clutches. Matt was eating a piece of birthday cake and playing a video game with Jeremy, ignoring Caroline while she walked between them.

Growling, I watched Damon step into Caroline's path and just stand there. 'What does he think he's doing?' I thought, glaring through the glass at him. Caroline's hands found Damon and he pulled the blindfold off. They began to laugh together. It was supposed to be me and Caroline. I slumped to the bottom of the porch, outside, shivering slightly. This sucked. This just sucked.

I heard the other kids laughing for hours and I just wanted to punch one of them. Not the girls because Lijah said you don't punch girls. But maybe I would punch Damon. If he ever kissed my Caroline I would punch him. He needed to stay away from her. It wasn't like I played with Lena much. She bored me.

Now, my ex-best friend and soon to be ex-girl friend must be on the couch because I could hear them laugh like they were right above my head. It was like they were leaning out the window, they were so loud. I glared ahead of me. "I dare you to kiss Matt," Damon yelled at someone and I jumped to my feet. He better not have said that to Care.

I was relieved to see he had told my sister to do it, although I did not approve. She was too young. It did not matter to me that Caroline and I had been the same ages during our first kiss. "Pass to Stefan," Matt called.

And how dare Damon have the nerve to dare people. He was no longer a part of dare club. Lifetime membership. That was his rule, not mine. We were under new leadership. Mine. That meant new rules. I would go home and write them tonight. However, I had to watch my baby sister kissing the traitor's brother at the moment. Bekah was giggling as she kissed Stefan, who began to smile the second it was over.

Now, the sounds of Caroline and Damon giggling could be heard again. I wanted to yell at them but I was interrupted in my thoughts. "Hey, little Brit. Whatcha doin' peering in the window like a creepy perv?" Vikki Donavon asked me, narrowing her eyes as she walked up to the porch.

Jumping, I looked up at her feeling worried she would rat me out. Vikki was two years older than me which is probably why she had not made the dare club yet. We just didn't think about her because she was too young to hang with half of us and too old for the other set. It didn't really make sense though.

"I can't go in," I told her.

Vikki rolled her eyes and then grinned. "Is this cause you had a fight with your boyfriend?" She nodded at Damon.

I nodded and then shook my head. "I don't have a boyfriend."

Vikki began to laugh at me. "You take yourself too seriously, little man. Now, get your sorry butt in there and make my lil bro happy. Or I will kick you up and down the street."

"I can't," I told her stubbornly folding my arms over my chest.

Vikki stepped toward me, "I really will kick your ass if you don't go in there right now, Klaus Mikaelson," she shouted at me. I watched her walk toward me. There were stories about the temper of Vikki. I knew she could hurt and would hurt me. But I just couldn't go inside. She was getting too close when the window opened and someone jumped over and out. The person threw themselves in front of me.

Blinking in shock, I watched a familiar head of raven hair sprang up in front of me. "Leave him alone, Vik. Or you'll have me to deal with," Damon warned Vikki, who grinned and backed off.

"Kay, have nice day, boys," Whistling Vikki, walked back down the path of the house and up the street.

I felt my shoulders slump when Damon turned to face me. The door swung open to reveal Caroline and Matt. "Are you guys coming inside or are we coming out?" Matt asked us, grabbing his jacket as he spoke.

Shaking my head, I began to walk away. "Klaus," Matt called, coming out. "Dude, it's my birthday. Now, give me a present and stay. I dare you."

This seemed funny to me and I began to laugh. "Whatever. Just keep those two away from me," I told him, nodding at Damon and then at Caroline, who gaped at me. "Traitors and liars do not get forgiveness."

I came inside and sat down to play some kind of video game that involved killing zombies. Matt seemed to like this quite a bit. "See zombies took over the planet and you're one of the last humans. So, you have to get them before they get you."

It was a rather simple game. This was followed by going out in the backyard to play football. Damon and Caroline watched from the sidelines because I refused to play with them. "I dare you to hit Damon with the ball," I dared Tyler, who nodded quickly.

The ball flew through the air and hit Damon in the face, who fell backward. Instead of feeling happy, I felt irritated as Caroline, Elena and Bonnie went running off to fetch him an icepack, a bandage for the bruise, a can of soda and a piece of cake he had requested. The minute the girls ran off, Damon sat up and began to talk to Matt like everything was lovely. The minute the girls started to come into view he laid down and began moaning.

Matt laid down beside Damon. "Ah, Tyler got me, too, while you were inside. Can I have Coke and some cake?"

Bonnie shook her head. "You're faking but it's your birthday." She went back inside to retrieve the requested items.

Matt and Damon high fived each other while Tyler and I looked at them feeling annoyed. "Hey Matt, dare you to kiss Elena," Tyler told his friend with a grin.

Matt looked who Damon, who was frowning and then nodded, "Go ahead, kid, have a blast."

When Elena came back out of the house with her friends, Matt walked up to her and kissed her. Damon looked away and then looked at Tyler with a wide grin, "Tyler, I dare you to kiss Care or Klaus. Your pick."

Tyler looked horrified as he looked at me and then at Damon. Then he looked at Caroline, who was glaring at Damon. "I hate you," she told him. He shrugged.

Tyler thought about it, "Switch with Lena."

Elena blinked, "Kay," She turned around and kissed Caroline and Damon's eyebrows rose and then he clapped.

"That was better than what I said," Damon cheered.

"I dare you to kiss Bonnie," I told Damon, who sneered. He walked over to Bonnie and then kissed her.

"Bonnie, I dare you to kiss Nik," Damon told Bonnie.

Bonnie sighed and then came over and kissed me. Matt thought of some better dares. ""I dare you to kiss the grass." He ordered me. To Damon, "Kiss the house." To Caroline kiss my Mom's car." To Bonnie. "Kiss Mr. Freckles," This was Vikki's cat.

"Kiss the sidewalk." This was directed at Damon again. "Ty, kiss the football." "Bekah, see that frog Kiss it." "Kol, kiss the froggy your sister just kissed. Kiss it, too. Now, everybody else. Kiss the frog. Then kiss Mr. Freckles. Damon and Klaus, kiss each other. When Vikki comes home, you all have to kiss my sister. Now, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Bekah line up. It's my birthday. Someone call Rose, Andie, Jenna and Kat. Then kiss the frog again."

I was getting tired of kissing the bloody frog. "Matt, I dare you to kiss the frog and your sister. Then you can kiss the house, Mr. Freckles, the lawn and Damon. You can also kiss my blo-"

"Niklaus," Elijah snapped as he strode onto the lawn with Katherine. "If you so much as attempt to finish that sentence you will spend your birthday inside Leonardo DiCaprio's doghouse." Bekah had named her puppy after the famous movie stare. We usually called the dog, Leo. Unless it was bad. Then we called it by its full name so it knew it was part of the family.

"Kat, it's your turn," Damon called.

Katherine's eyebrows rose.,"To do what?"

"Kiss the frog. Then Matt. Then me," Damon announced and Elena shook her head. Then she gave him a swift kick.

"Good job, Lena," I cheered just as Caroline gave me one. "Ow," I shouted, rubbing my leg. "What was that for?"

Caroline began to shove me, "For being a pig headed jerk." She gave me an extra shove with each word. "You've been mean and hateful to me and Damon today. It's not Damon's fault he didn't want to hang out with Bekah all day on her birthday. I dared him first to be nicer to Lena and you messed it all up." Knocking me to the ground, Caroline began to cry and then fled.

Damon frowned, "You screwed up, Nik." He told me before running after Caroline. Elena was pouting because now she thought Damon didn't like her. Matt sighed, "Is someone going to kiss me?" Elena turned around and kissed him.

I groaned, looking down at the frog, who ribbeted at me, "What are you looking at?" I snapped at it.

"Are you making friends with the frog?" Vikki asked, looking down at me with a sneer. I just wanted to shut her up so I jumped to my feet and kissed her. Vikki stood there without moving for a single minute before she screamed and then started to chase me around the lawn. "Little pervert," she shouted.

Spinning around on my heel, I continued to run backward. "Matt, dared me. And everyone else. You'll have a lot of people to be angry at once they're done with you. Look at the line," I pointed to the line of Dare Club members who had to perform their dare.

Vikki stopped in her tracks. "Why are you kids so weird?" She asked as the Dare Clubbers began to kiss her.

"Because," Elena told her.

"We," Bonnie followed.

"Are," Katherine added.

"Part," Elijah told her.

"Of," Kol said with a smirk.

"Dare," Bekah inserted with a happy smile.

"Club," I finished. "And now you are, too. Now, you have to find Damon and Caroline because they have to kiss you, too."
