"Well, Miss Fowler. Everything seems well! Have a good day!" The doctor shook Amy's hand, smiled at her and Amy walked back out of the treatment room.

Sheldon and Penny both jumped up from the chairs in the waiting room and came towards her.

"What did he say?" Penny asked.

"He said everything's fine so far. I'm still limping a little due to muscle reduction and I shouldn't run or jump yet but anything else is totally okay. Guess I'm cured!"

Penny looked happier about this than Sheldon.

"That's great, Ames!" Penny smiled and looked at the quiet physicist next to her. "Right, Sheldon?"

"Yes. Very. I am happy you're fine, Amy."

Penny just rolled her eyes but Amy vaguely smiled at him and nodded. Then she crossed arms with Amy and pulled her down the corridor, followed by a still awfully quiet Sheldon.

"So, not to rush anything but… does that mean you're moving back home again soon?"

Amy looked up at her best friend with big eyes and an open mouth. "Uhm…"

"See, I don't wanna kick you out or anything but to be honest, living with Leonard is not easy. Kudos to you, Sheldon."

"Yeah" Sheldon just mumbled. He seemed to be lost in thoughts… or angry. Not even Amy could tell.

She was afraid though that it had to do something with yesterday. Even though the night had been nice and they had cuddled, from the moment Amy had had reminded him she had to go to the hospital to get her leg checked again, he had acted strange.

"I guess I'll move out by tomorrow…" Amy insecurely looked at Sheldon but he just kept staring on the floor, not saying a thing.

"Thanks, Ames. You're the best. Bert and Ernie are gonna have them back all to themselves then and play away the night until their Wii breaks."

"We don't own a Wii. We have an Xbox and a Playstation. When will you ever learn that, woman?"

"Hey, don't get your panties in a twist just because I don't keep track of what electronical nonsense you two own."

"I don't get what Leonard sees in you" Sheldon opened the exit door and held it open for the two women.

Penny just glared at him angrily and pulled Amy with her while she shared the newest gossip with her. Gossip about celebrities Amy either didn't know or cared about, about friends of Penny that Amy didn't know, about old high school friends of hers that were already pregnant with their 5th child. Amy didn't really listen. She was worried about Sheldon on the backseat, still being quiet.

Sheldon still didn't say a single word when he walked up the stairs next to his girlfriend. He was just glad that Penny had dropped them at home and then had droven to Leonard to pick him up from work since his car had broken down the other day. He enjoyed being alone with Amy again even though he realized how worried she looked. But he'd feel stupid and humiliated to tell her, that he wasn't all that happy about her leaving. Not to be misunderstood; He had missed his roommate. But living with Amy wasn't as bad as he had thought. And it was impressive how much progress they had made in their relationship by just the absence of all the others.

Sheldon had always been secretly afraid that Leonard would decide to move in with Penny someday. But now he even hoped for it. He was sure that Amy would have moved in with him in an instant.

He looked at her. She had gone quiet, too, and looked at the ground while climbing the stairs next to him. He hoped she knew that it was not about yesterday. On the other hand, if he told her it was not about yesterday, he would also have to tell her the truth and he would have felt embarrassed to tell her how much he was going to miss her and not seeing her every day in the morning after waking up and at night before going to sleep.

Sheldon unlocked the door to his apartment and walked in. He was lost in thoughts.

At the same time Amy was close to crying. She didn't know what was going on. At all. She also had no clue but the more she thought about it, she came to the conclusion that it only could be about yesterday. It would be good to move out tomorrow… better than this eroding silence that was radiating from Sheldon.

Sheldon scuffed over to the kitchen and prepared himself some chamomile tea. He desperately needed it now. He was upset and sad at the same time but he thought chamomile would just do the trick.

"Can I have some tea, too, please?" Amy sheepishly asked.

It seemed like Sheldon got ripped out of his thoughts. "Oh. Of course! Sorry."

Amy sat on one of the bar stools and looked at her boyfriend. "Care to tell me what's wrong with you?"

"With me? Nothing…" He tried a smile but failed.

"Sheldon, if it's about what happened yesterday…"

"Wait. What? No. It's not. It's absolutely not!"

Amy's jaw dropped. "Don't get upset, I just thought…"

"No, that's exactly the problem! You didn't think because if you would have thought, you could have figured out yourself that it has nothing to do with yesterday!" Sheldon closed the tea box so hard, that the glass of it almost shattered.

Amy cringed and her eyes filled with tears. "Will you tell me what's your problem then?"

He opened his mouth and looked up. When he saw her watery eyes he shut his mouth and all of a sudden he looked hurt and broken. "Amy…"

She didn't say anything, she just stared at him.

"I'm sorry. It's just… I didn't mean to be rude… I just…" He looked down onto his hands as if he had never seen anything more interesting. "I'm going to miss you here."

There. He had said it and he felt less stupid than he had expected.

"Sheldon" A big smile formed on Amy's lips. "I'm going to miss you equally much. But you know, we could always live together if you want to. I'm all alone in my apartment…"

He looked up. Then he nodded. "I'll consider it"

Amy gave him her warmest smile.

"It's very nive having you around every day" Sheldon admitted mumbling, pouring the hot water in a blue and a yellow mug.

Amy knew better than to reply to it. She knew it had been hard for him to tell her. She didn't have to poke around in it. She just took the compliment and felt her heart combust with all the love she could possibly feel.

It was way past midnight when Sheldon finally left the bathroom. They had played 3D chess all evening and had had so much fun that they had completely forgotten the time. Sheldon yawned and walked up to his bedroom. He took a moment to stop in front of the cracked open door and listen to Amy happily humming a song he had heard her playing on the harp before. He couldn't help but smile. He was annoyed by others humming but when Amy did it, it was gorgeously cute.

He heard the sheets crackle, as she put her body into bed. It took him a second to find that he had leaned his head against the doorframe and stood there with a stupid amourus smile on his face, listening to his girlfriend humming.

"Ridiculous" He whispered to himself, shaking his head and walking into his bedroom.

"Hm?" Amy looked at him.

"Oh, nothing" He assured her before climbing into the bed himself. He turned around to Amy and looked at her.

She was lying on her back but turned her head and looked back at him. "Are you okay?"

"I just thought that this is our last night together"

She turned her head back and stared at the ceiling. "Yes. It's gonna feel weird to sleep alone again."

"Maybe…" Sheldon insecurely started. "…we could set something up in the Relationship Agreement. Sleepovers. Once a week you sleep at my place and once a week I sleep at yours. That would be two nights a week. If that's okay with you."

She looked back at him and nodded. "More than okay"

"Which doesn't automatically count in coitus or any other sexual interactions!" He warned her with a serious look.

Amy couldn't help but laugh. "Of course not"

Silence filled the room again for a few minutes, then Amy started to shiver a little.

"Are you cold? I had the window cracked open since I read it guarantees a better sleep when the room is a little chilly."

Amy nodded. "I heard that, too. It's ok. I'll get warm again eventually."

"Eventually is not good enough. Come here." He stretched one arm towards here and she moved close to him.

Sheldon slung his arm around her and nuzzled his nose into her hair. Oh, how he'd miss this divine smell.

He felt his heartbeat get faster, when Amy also slung her arm around him and she felt him grabbing the back of his pajama shirt as if she never wanted to let go.

It was slightly dawning outside when Sheldon stretched and woke up. He was a little sweaty and hot so in his half-slumber he sat up and took off his pajama shirt before falling back into his pillows. He happily sighed and turned onto the side. His upper body collided with Amy's back, he opened one eye, realized his girlfriend was still there, smiled and slung an arm around her waist to pull her up closer against his chest. Then he closed his eyes again and wanted to fall back asleep again. But a certain body reaction wouldn't let him. It got even worse when Amy started to move against him, probably just to be closer to him.

Sheldon swallowed and opened his eyes.

Amy must have felt that he had gotten a little tense, she turned on her back in his embrace and opened one eye.

He stared right back at her and swallowed. A little tired smile formed on her lips. "Everything alright, Dr. Cooper?"

Something about her sleepy warm voice drew him into kissing her tenderly. When he slowly broke back away from her he found a pair of gorgeous green eyes staring at him in astonishment. Sheldon was still lying on his side so his left arm was in a perfect position. He grinned cheekily and placed one hand on her stomach. He felt that she cringed for a moment but then relaxed under his touch.

"Any plan behind that?" She raised an eyebrow and made the mistake to look down onto his lips for a second.

Sheldon took the chance to steal another kiss. And another one. The third one ended up to be way more passionate than both of them had expected. Their tongues touched and started a fight of love, tangling around each other and teasing each other. Sheldon's hand slowly slipped up until he felt it cupping Amy's right breast.

He froze when he felt her firm grasp around his wrist. When he tried to end the kiss, her other hand immediately landed on the back of his neck and pressed him down. Sheldon was still confused. Only when he felt that his hand was led under her shirt right to the same spot it had been seconds before, he sighed comfortably.

Amy's hand wandered from Sheldon's neck down onto his back, caressing his naked skin.

Their kisses deepened and their breathing rhythm got faster and unregular. Sheldon pulled his hand back and started raising Amy's shirt. She quickly raised her upper body and helped him get rid of the shirt. He caught a quick glance at her bare breasts again before he dived back into the next kiss. A strange and still new feeling started brewing in his loins and he knew that if he wouldn't do it now, it probably would never happen. He would have never admitted how nervous he was when he strapped down his pajama pants. After he had finished that task, he realized that Amy had also gotten rid of her clothes. All of them.

Sheldon swallowed hard when he felt her hand on the waistband of his undergarment. "Amy…"

His voice was deep and rough.

Slowly and insecurely he raised his hips while Amy sat up and freed him from his last piece of clothing. Then she laid back and wanted to turn onto her side, too, but Sheldon stopped her.

"Wait…" He shoved his arm under her knee pits and raised her legs. Then he moved his legs there in a tucked up position and placed Amy's calfs on top of his thigh.

Amy was so nervous that she could hardly breathe. She turned her head aside and looked at Sheldon. Then she grinned. "Isn't this a slightly uncommon position to… start with…?"

"Maybe. But I want to see your whole body and if I'd lie on you, I wouldn't be able to."

Amy felt how she blushed and a calm deep laugh was released by Sheldon. Then he turned quiet and his look was full of love. He caressed her cheek and swept a strand of hair out of her face. She looked into his eyes and incriminated him in another kiss. It was like everything that Sheldon had ever been afraid of, happened almost automatically now.

He realized that he didn't need his brain for this, his body just knew what to do. He felt Amy cling onto his arm as they finally became one.

Their rhythm evolved from the beating of their hearts, a perfect composition of slightly clumsy but arousing movements that both drove them to the edge of their minds.

"Amy" Sheldon moaned after only a few minutes. "I don't know what your expectations were but… I'm afraid I won't last long"

"Neither will I" A thin voice came back and Sheldon opened his eyes and looked at his girlfriend. Her eyes were closed, her body was shaking under the rhythm of his thrusts, her cheeks were reddened and she kept biting her lower lip.

The sight of her nearly pushed Sheldon over the edge and he quickly pinched himself to at least manage to stand this sweet torture a few more seconds.

"Sheldon" Her voice trembled and she felt the need to sling her arms and legs around him but she knew it was impossible. Her right hand grabbed the sheets.

He did his very best, deepend the thrusts, made sure she'd feel him completely and that he would feel her completely once she'd reach the climax. He saw her body starting to shake and felt that extremely hot tightness around him getting even tighter by the second.

"Amy" It sounded dark and warning, almost like a plea for her to stop, even though she wasn't even in control anymore.

A loud moan was released from the back of Amy's throat as her trembling body squirmed under the sweet torture of an overwhelming orgasm that flooded her body.

The sight of an ecstatic Amy, the feeling around him and the knowledge that it was him and just him who had managed to make her feel this way, was too much. With one final deep thrust, Sheldon slung his arms around his woman, moaning into the side of her neck, letting the cascades of shivers and goosebumps take over his own body before he felt all of his muscles relax at once.

It became silent. Sheldon felt that Amy was still breathing heavily under the weight of his arm. Then she finally moved, dragged her tired legs away and turned around in his embrace. They faced each other and even though Amy's cheeks were bright red and some hair strands were stuck to her sweaty forehead, Sheldon could have sworn he had never seen anything as beautiful as her.

She smiled and snuggled against him, her head under his chin.

So they both kept lying there. Quiet and smiling.

"You got everything?" Penny asked while dragging a big suitcase out of Leonard's room.

"Yes, that should be everything" Amy followed her best friend down into the living room.

"How is your leg?" Leonard asked from the sofa.

Amy smiled at him. "A lot better. Thanks to Sheldon."

Their gazes met and both pairs of eyes lit up. No one except them knew why.

They all had put on their shoes and jackets. Penny had signed up for driving Amy home while Leonard had the pleasure of taking Sheldon grocery shopping.

Penny went over to Sheldon and shoved Amy's suitcase towards him. "There you go, gentleman, you may carry that while I take care of savely bringing her down the staircase!"

She linked arms with her best friend and dragged her out of the apartment. Sheldon sighed, rolled his eyes, took the suitcase and followed Leonard.

They walked down the staircase, smalltalking a little about this and that. When they had reached the ground floor, Penny opened the door. Rain and a cold wind immediately punched them in the face.

"Oh dear. Amy, wait here, I'm gonna bring the car and you just jump in, okay?" Penny stepped outside.

Leonard , who had been right after her, turned around and looked at Sheldon quizzically.

"Well, I'll wait here, too. Just because I didn't have a broken leg doesn't mean I wanna get all wet."

The experimental physicist rolled his eyes and followed his girlfriend. The main door closed and Amy and Sheldon stood there next to each other.

"Do you think they sensed something?" Amy asked.

Sheldon looked at her. "No, I don't think so. Should we tell them?"

Amy sighed and then looked back at her boyfriend. "What if – for now – we still keep it between us?"

He smiled. "That's a good idea. Oh, and before they honk like crazy and we have to go out there…"

He put his hands on Amy's hips, pulled her close and gave her such a passionate kiss, that she almost became dizzy.

Then he stepped away like nothing had happened.

A loud honking noise could be heard from outside. They grinned at each other and Sheldon took a step forward and opened the door. "After you, Miss Fowler."

The End

Author's note: Thank you guys SO MUCH for reading and all the nice comments and everything basically. It kind of made me sad to end this fic but I thought it just would have been too much if I would have continued. I know that from myself, some fics just get boring and too long after a while and I don't care about reading it anymore and I didn't want that to happen with The Soft Kitty Treatment.

But don't you fear, there's already a new fic, called "The Apartment Incident" and there are already 3 Chapters up. Some of you might have already read those but I couldn't continue it since I was still busy writing The Soft Kitty Treatment. But now that this is over I can put all of my concentration on The Apartment Incident and I hope you'll love it just as much as this fic here.

Thank you all so much

Long live the Shamy!
