So I wasn't sure if this fit into Inner Thoughts or not, so I'm posting it separately. Because fuck it.

DC: I don't own anything, really.

Hope you enjoy enough to review! ;)

Kristoff Bjorgman never planned on finding someone who made his heart feel as if it were about to beat right out of his chest. He never planned on loving anyone, much less a princess who deserved much more than his smelly, awkward commoner self. It just happened. And he was more than just okay with it.

He was happy.

For once in his miserable little life, he was actually happy.

He couldn't remember ever being this happy in his life, except in a vague memory of a blonde woman and a tall, burly man caring for him as a child, but it was so vague that he wasn't quite sure it was real. Maybe it was just a dream he'd had. He surely didn't know who they were. They couldn't be his parents; according the trolls, his parents had abandoned him near the troll's home one evening the day he was born. All he could remember were the trolls.

Either way, he hasn't been this happy in forever.

And it's all because of the feisty little redhead who captured his heart.

He loves everything about her — her laugh, her smile, her eyes, her hair, her voice, her freckles, her cute little snore, her. He loves the way she dives into everything, headfirst and so determined and prepared to kick some serious ass. She was a feisty little thing who didn't need anyone to stand up for her, who wasn't scared of anyone or anything, and he couldn't love her more even if he tried.

And so he made it a daily goal to make her feel as loved as he could, as often as he could, to hopefully match how loved she made him feel. And, boy, did she make him feel loved.

Not only did she make him feel loved, but she also made him feel wanted, which was a first for him. No one had ever wanted to be around him before her; they'd all wrinkled their noses at his mountain-man scent and walked the other way when he'd smile. They had all brushed him off, like a smelly little bug they wanted nothing to do with.

But Anna, his Anna, she couldn't ever get enough of him. She was always helping him groom Sven or asking to go on harvesting trips with him. She was always making excuses to be with him, always staying up several hours too late just to be with him when she had to be up early the next day. She was always with him, practically glued to his side. He didn't mind. In fact, he loved it. Just like every other thing she says and does.

Not only did he love Anna, but he'd grown fond of her sister as well. Queen Elsa made sure Kristoff was comfortable in the castle and had plenty of carrots for Sven in the stables and always kept his favorite cake in stock in the castle's kitchen. She often told Kristoff how grateful she was for him being in Anna's life, and he admitted to being grateful for that, too.

The pair had common ground; they both wanted Anna to be happy, as she was the most important person in their lives.

So when Kristoff asked Elsa for her blessings, she wasted no time in saying yes.
