Dear Diary,
Even though I'm the staff ghost of this great windy course, I feel like the Wigglers here keep stealing my well deserved attention. Heck, I'm not even the lone staff ghost for this place anymore! Can you believe that nonsense!?

Several Conkdors made their presence in the Maple Treeway, appearing all over the autumn themed course as they were conking their heads into the ground, causing some of the racers, all of them Miis, to swerve and either crash or fall off the race course. Diddy Kong and Wiggler both watched from a yellow colored hot air balloon as two new Conkdors were popping out in a particular spot every two minutes.
"Man, what is with these weird birds?" Diddy commented as he moved his hands around, shaking his head. "Expresso would never be doing this back on Donkey Kong Island!"
Wiggler nodded in agreement as she moved her upper arms around, her lower arms folded together. "Yeah, I haven't even seen them before until now. I wonder why they would pop up here of all places."
"Because the author is going through a 3DWorld binge," Bowser Junior commented to both Diddy and Wiggler as he rode in his Koopa Klown Kar. "he's using all of the unique new elements that debuted in that game."
"Yeah!" Toadette added as she popped up right next to Bowser Jr., moving her hands around. "That's likely the reason why these Conkdors are showing up all of a sudden!"
Diddy and Wiggler looked at each other and shrugged, going along with the theory that these Conkdors were indeed showing up to show off the new stuff that made its debut in Super Mario 3D World.
