"You know what?" Wiggler asked Birdo as they were in the area by the starting line, gathering several orange leaves together.
"What is it, Wigz?" Birdo asked as she was helping place the leaves into a brown recycle bag.
"...I just wonder what these leaves taste like with maple syrup." Wiggler pointed out as she grabbed a carton of maple syrup and began pouring it on the leaves.
Birdo squinted her eyes as she couldn't believe what Wiggler was doing. "...Are you... kidding me...?"
"Nope, I'm serious as suicide." Wiggler responded innocently as she then began munching on the leaves, enjoying its syrup covered goodness.
Birdo just shook her head in dismay as she planted her right hand on her forehead. "Don't you think that eating leaves sounds ridiculous? I mean, I know that it kind of makes sense for you since you're a caterpillar and all, but..."
"I can't argue against logic!" Toadette piped in as she appeared out of nowhere, eating the maple syrup covered leaves alongside Wiggler.
Birdo just sighed and shrugged, knowing that she couldn't win this argument as she left the two girls to eat the leaves doused in syrup, going back to collecting the rest of the non syrup covered batches of leaves.
