Natsu laid down on bed looking up at the ceiling. Remembering vividly last nights events.

"Natsu you and Lisanna are getting married." He father said. Suddenly the room began to spin and everyone felt so distanced. Natsu felt a mixed of emotion all at once. Anger,sadness, confusion. Natsu stood up without a word and walked out the front door. He need some time to himself to gather his thoughts. He pulled out his phone and began to look through his contacts

"Who to call." He whispered. He stop at Lucy number. He pondered for a moment. He was about to dial her number when his mother rushed outside.

"Natsu Dragneel what was that?" he yelled.

"Huh." was all he answered.

"Why did you just rushed outside like a mad man."

"I just…" Natu s began, but she cut him off saying "You go back and apologized to your future in-laws."

"Whose future in-laws ?" Natsu snapped. He mother looked surprised.

"I know this seem sudden but there is a reason." his mother said calmly.

"What the reason let me hear." yelled back at her.

"I can't tell you father has to but please just do as he says." she pleaded with him. Natsu ignored her and started walking to his car. All his life his parents told him what to do, what to hang out with, what to wear, how to talk. He had a enough. Now they planning to control the rest of his damn life. Natsu was fuming.

"Natsu." he heard someone yelled behind him as he open his car door.

It was Lisanna. She ran up to the car.

"What wrong Natsu ?" she asked with a worried look in her eyes.

"Look Lisanna…." but he didn't finish. He father walked right up to them and begin to yell "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" His father was so red it could but a firetruck to shame. The vein in his neck doubled in size.

Natsu stayed silent. "ARE YOU GOING TO ANSWER ME YOU LITTLE PUNK ."

Natsu decide he didn't need to answer him. He got in his car, close the door and put the key in the ignition. He father then started to yell some more.

"WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!" Natsu locked the doors and drove off leaving his father, Lisanna behind in a daze. Natsu didn't know where he was going he just drove and drove and drove. He heard his phone ring , the words Dad flashed across the screen.

"Some father." Natsu yelled. While every other kid had that dad who came to their baseball games and took them out for ice cream afterward whether or not they won or lose. natsu father would send his assistant Gary to do it. Once Natsu had drew a picture for his dad and stuck on his work binder. Natsu waited in for his father to come and tell him about what a good job he did. Natsu stayed up almost the whole night waiting until he fell a sleep. The next morning Natsu found his picture crumpled up in his father office wastebasket. But that was even the worse. When Natsu had won an award he went into his father to show him. He is father was busy with work and told Natsu to leave not be such a fucking pest. Natsu was hurt at his word. So he quietly retreated to his room. Those are the kind of memories Natsu had. He didn't how long was driving for until he saw the city limits sign. Natsu would be damn if he went home now so he stop at a hotel and check out a room. he decide to order all bunch of room service to rack up money on his father credit card. After eating through two plate of hot wing and a box of pizza, Natsu picked up his phone. There was a voice mail. Natsu played it :

"Natsu I want you ass home right now." that voice no doubt was his father.

"If don't come kiss college goodbye along with you car." Natsu rolled his eye to his father stupid threats.

"You've made your mother cry you little ungrateful brat." Natsu decide he had enough and end the message. He looked at the clock beside the bed 12:30. He felt his eyes get heavier, he yawned. He began to feel his self drifted off into a heavy and much needed sleep.

"Dammit." Natsu yelled to himself. He worked up with a headache. At first he forgot where he was but, all of last night event flooded into his memory and he got pissed all over again. He wasn't ready to go home yet, but where else did he have left. Natsu let out a heavy sigh and got up out of the bed to got and take a hot shower so he could clear his mind. As the warm water ran down his back Natsu felt a certain calmness come over him.

"Why?" was all he could think about. He never knew his parents would go this far. Natsu heard his phone ring from the room. Natsu tuned off the faucet and pulled the towel off the rack and wrapped it around his waist. He pick up his phone to see he had a text from Gray. It said ;

Natsu where r u every1 lookin 4 u ur parents called me last night txt me back.

Then Natsu phone vibrated again this time for Lucy. Natsu heart did a leap. He quickly open the message: Natsu can we meet up somewhere to talk ?

Natsu replied "Yes, where at?
It felt like forever to Natsu waiting for Lucy to text him back. Finally her message came ; The Vienna Cafe across the library.

Natus could keep the smile from spreading on his face when read it. Natsu got halfway dress when he thought. "I can't go looking like this, I guess I'll have to stop at the clothing store."

Natsu checkout of the hotel room and since he was in a good mood he gave the bellhop a big tip.

Natsu practically skipped to his car forgetting all his troubles the night before. He was going to see Lucy. It took Natsu a good 30 minutes in the department store to pick out an outfit. He finally decide on a pair of dark blue jeans and black and red striped hood jacket with a white inside. When Natsu finally got to the cafe ,Lucy was already waiting outside. See him Lucy heartbeat speed up a bit. Natsu smiled at her saying "Hey Luce." He walked to her and gave a big bear hug. Lucy could smell his cologne.

"N-n-natsu." Lucy stuttered. But Nasu just began to hug her tight saying "Can we stay like this for a while Luce. because I missed you so much." Lucy blushed at his word.

"Natsu I…." But he off when he whispered in her ear "I love you Luce." Lucy heart begin to felt like it was going to beat out of her chest.

"Wha." was all she said. Natsu let go of her looked straight in the eye. "Luce I love you." The look in his eye said the he wasn't joking. Lucy was in a daze. Then her emotions hit her like a runaway truck. she didn't know why but she started to cry the tears came down like a broken faucet.

"Luce what's wrong?" Natsu asked. She could hear the gentleness in his voice and that made her happy.

"Did I make you?" he asked. Lucy no full broke down was sobbing now. She took big gasp of air. She shook her head no.

"Well then what happen?" Natsu said as he took his sleeve and wet Lucy eyes with carefulness.

Finally when Lucy could got a hold of herself.

"Natsu I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" he asked confused.

"I-I-I-I." Lucy couldn't get the words out she knew this wasn't the right time to tell about her studying abroad. She didn't want to either way because the joy that she felt pushed that out of her mind.

"Love you too." Lucy finally go out. Natsu looked stunned. It took a while for him to understand when he did a huge smile swept across his face and began to dance awkwardly . Lucy rubbing what was left of the tears on her face began to laugh at Natsu's dance so much that it sounded like she was crying again. Any onlooker probably would have thought this two were crazy.

Natsu finally stopped dancing and pulled Lucy to him this time for kiss. Lucy felt like she could melt when their lips touched. Soon Lucy parting her lips slightly, leaned in towards him, yielding to the soft strength of his kiss, that engulfed her, gaining in strength until she found herself wrapped up in him, body, heart and soul. They broke the kiss to find themselves breathless. Natsu gave Lucy his million dollar smile and she smiled back. She didn't know why but in the back of her mind she felt as if this happiness she felt wouldn't last long.
