Kim's POV: I had a fantastic night last night with Jack. I know that he just made a mistake, and that is okay! Jack is one of the most sweetest guys that I know. He gave me one of the best apologies ever. After he apologized and we made out, he went to the truck and got a blanket and a picnic basket. He had also brought flowers. They were a mixture of different kinds. We had eaten sandwiches and fruit on the blanket while watching the stars. Afterwards, it was back to making out. Then, he took me home. Anyways, right now I am getting ready for school. I walked downstairs just to see my mom cooking breakfast, my dad on the couch while reading the newspaper, my moms boss also sitting on the couch, but working on his computer, Jenaveave wasn't downstairs yet, and Annabeth was packing her bag with an art project she had been working on for the past month.

"Hey mom, dad, Mr. Land, and Annabeth!" I stated.

"Hey sweetheart!" my parents crowed.

"How are you doing Kim?" Mr. Land asked.

"Hey Kimmy!" Annabeth stated.

"Hi guys! And I'm doing AWESOME Mr. Land!"

"Why so cheerful Kimmy?" Annabeth asked.

"Well, no reason. I'm just super excited to see my friends. And don't call me Kimmy!" Then I whispered, "only Jack can call me that now!" Yep that's right, I actually am now allowing Jack to call me Kimmy since we are dating!:)

"What was that Kimmy?" I glared at her. "I mean Kim!"

"That's what I thought. And I didn't say anything!" Obviously lying.

"Oh Kim's just happy because of her date with Jack last night!" Jenaveave said while walking down stairs. I turned my head and gave her a quick glare. I then saw her turn her mouth into an "o" shape. I knew that she just remembered that I was keeping me and Jacks' relationship a secret. Oh ya, I forgot to tell you that I had to tell my siblings. I wasn't planning on telling anyone, but my sisters would not allow me to leave the house without an explanation of where I was going.

"What date?" my mom asked me.

"Whaaaaat, I wasn't on a date!" I said, now passing obvious.

"Mmhmm!" my mom said.

"Ok, I went on a date with Jack, but that does NOT mean that we are a couple!"

"Sure! Anyways, breakfast is ready everyone!" Everyone dropped what they were doing and ran to the table like a pack of rhinos.

"So Kim, tell us about your date," my dad stated.

"Why?"

"Because I want to know!"

"Well, I don't really feel comfortable with talking about it!"

"Oh come on Kim, you know you want to tell us!"

"NO I DONT!"

"Tell us Kim!" Annabeth pleaded.

"Bug off, ok? I just don't want to tell you about it! Can't I just have some privacy in this house!" I yelled then ran upstairs to grab my homework and backpack. I walked back down stairs, grabbed an apple, and walked out the front door leaving my family with astonished faces. I sat down on the front patio and waited for Jack to come pick me up. After a while, Jack finally showed up. He was looking VERY handsome today. He was wearing black jeans and a yellow shirt that had black and white small stripes on them. He saw me sitting there with a sad face just hugging my knees.

"What's wrong Kimmy?"

"Jenaveave accidentally told my family about our date last night and Annabeth begged me to tell them about it. I got really annoyed because I didn't want to tell them about it, but Annabeth just kept bugging me so I yelled at her."

"Well, why didn't you want to tell them about our wonderful date?" Jack said with a small smile.

"Because I didn't feel like telling them about the making out parts and how we got into a fight!"

"Ya, I was a jerk last night. Wasn't I?"

"Yes, but you are my jerk!" I stated while getting up and wrapping my arms around his waist.

"And don't you forget it!" he replied while laughing and wrapping his arms around my shoulders. I looked up at him and he leaned down pressing his lips on mine. I quickly pushed him off and he had a confused expression on his face.

"My family is inside, I don't want them to think that we are a couple!" I told him. "Oh ya that's right!But where can I kiss you?"

"Around the block, behind the old tree."

"Ok then, we better hurry up if we want some time to make out and be on time for school!"

"Well, to conserve time, why don't we run?"

"Ok! As long as I can hold your hand?" I just laughed and nodded at how Jack acted. He wrapped his firm hand around my small petite hand. We started running until we reached the corner. He pulled me around the tree."You know, you look really beautiful today!"

I blushed and stated, "thanks Jack, you know you look really handsome today!"

"Well don't I always Kim!" He stated being his same cocky self.

"Sooooo, how about my kiss!" He said while puckering his lips.

"Nah, that's ok Jack. I'm not really in the mood for kissing!" He opened his eyes and looked shocked. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding!"

"Well, don't kid like that ever again! Ok Kimmy?"

"FINE!" Then I leaned up and kissed but pulled away quickly.

"Oh I'm not done yet missy."

"Oh, your not?"

"Nope!" Then he pulled my waist closer to him and deepened the kiss. His tongue brushed across my lower lip and I quickly granted him access. He explored every crevice of my mouth then I stopped his tongue with mine. We fought for dominance for a while until I won. Before I could get deep into his mouth, we heard coughing noises. We looked to see Annabeth and her 3 friends Avery, Natalie, and her major crush, Ashton.

"Oh hi Annabeth, Avery, Natalie, and Ashton!" I said.

"Why are you and Jack making out behind the old tree?"Annabeth asked.

"Because we want to!" I said back.

"I thought you were just friends!"

"Well..."

"Well what?"

"We kind of are a couple! But you can't tell anyone! Not even mom. You understand?" She nodded her hand quickly.

"You know Patrick is not going to be happy about this!" Ashton said. Patrick is Ashton's older brother who is a year younger then me. He has had a crush on me since I was 8 and he was 7. I actually like him too until we were 12. We had gone out for about 3 months, then I saw him making out with Donna Tobin during school! After that I hadn't trusted anyone in a relationship except for Jack. I love Jack more then I have loved anybody else.

"Well, I don't care what Patrick thinks. He is a big cheater and I don't love him like I did back in 7th grade!" I told him.

"And you guys better not tell anyone about us either!" Jack stated firmly to the other 3. They nodded back quickly.

"What about Joey, Neal, and June?" Natalie asked. Joey and Neal were identical twin brothers of Natalie. They were 17 years old, and I have to say, they are VERY hot boys. Joey and I dated when I was 11 and he was 12, but he broke up with me after 6 months because he liked another girl. I dint mind because then, I had started liking Neal and Patrick. A few months later I had started dating Patrick, and you already know how that ended. To be honest, I still like Neal, but I LOVE Jack. I actually don't think I would ever date Neal. And June is Natalie's 13 year old sister who I tutor. Their family lives right next to mine.

"What about June?" I asked.

"Well, if you are busy with Jack then you won't have time to tutor her."

"Don't worry Natalie, Jack won't get in the way of June," I told her.

"Hey, that hurts Kimmy!" Jack said.

"Oh grow up you big baby!"

"Wait, why does Jack get to call you Kimmy, but I don't!" Annabeth stated.

"I'm just special!" Jack said while smirking. I punched him on the arm are went back to talking to Natalie.

"Anyways, I don't like Joey anymore."

"What about Neal?" Natalie asked.

"Well..." I looked over at Jack and saw hurt in his eyes. "Ok, I'm going to be honest so I'm not hiding anything. I still like Neal, but if he asked me out, and I wasn't dating Jack, I wouldn't say yes. I don't love Neal, I love Jack. But I think Neal is hot and nice and sweet, but I know Jack a thousand times better, Jack is hotter, Jack is nicer, Jack is the best kisser, Jack is the best boyfriend any girl could have, so NO I do not care about Neal or Joey that much anymore." Jack turned around and walked away. "Well, I should get to school. Bye girls!" I stated to them.

"Bye!" Then I ran after Jack.

"Jack. Jack wait!" I yelled after him.

"What do you want?"he asked.

"Jack look at me." He looked straight into my eyes and I knew that he could see love and regret. He pulled me into a tight embrace. "I'm sorry Jack!"

"For what? I'm the one that ran off!"

"But I said that I like another guy!"

"But Kim, you were honest with me, and I know that you love me more then anything."

"And don't you forget it! I would never go out with Neal!" That put a smile on his face. Then, he grabbed my hand and we walked to school. When we were about a block away, Jack stopped walking. "Ummm... Jack, what are you doing?"

"Kim, remember we have a secret relationship!"

"Oh right, thanks for telling me!" Then I started walking, but just to get pulled back again.

"Kim, aren't you forgetting something?"

"No, why?" He looked at our hands. OH! I forgot that I was still gripping his hand, well I had my blonde moment today! (A/N: By the way, I don't believe that blondes are dumber then any other kind of hair colors. It doesn't matter if you have blonde, brown, red, yellow, white, black, blue, pink, purple, etc. hair color, you are still you!)

"Oops!"

"That's okay Kimmers!"

"Kimmers? Really?" I asked.

"Yup!" then we walked into Seaford High. We saw Jerry and Milton over on the other side of the hallway.

"Hey guys!" Jack and I said at the same time.

"What a do love birds!" Jerry stated.

"FOR THE LAST TIME, I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON JACK!" I yelled.

"Ya, and I don't have a crush on Kim!"

"Mmmmhmmmm! Sure!" Milton stated.

"That's it!" I screamed. I jumped onto Jerry's back as he ran around screaming like a headless chicken. After about a minute, I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and pull me back. I knew it was Jack right away.

"Ring, Ring, Ring!"sang the bell.

Once everyone cleared the hallway, Jack gave me a quick peck on the lips and then we went our separate ways to class. I ran to science class with Ms. Holly. In science today, we learned about genetics as a review. I saw Jack walking out of the math classroom with a girl I have never seen before. I hid behind the corner and listened to the conversation.

"Well, thanks for showing me around Jack!" the girl stated.

"No problem Josie! Hey at lunch do you want to sit by my friends and I?" Jack asked.

"Sure!" the girl replied while biting her lip and twirling her hair. I could sense that Jack was a little weirded out by her, but what ever.

"Well, I have to get to Language Arts, bye!" Josie stated.

"Bye Josie!" then Jack turned around breathing out a heavy sigh. I ran up to him and jumped on his back.

"Who was that Jack?"

"That was Josie. She is new today, so I am showing her around!" Jack stated.

"Oh cool!"

"Hey don't be jealous Kim. I mean sure she is pretty, but you are gorgeous and I love you!"

"Thanks Jack, I love you too! But I got to go to math! bye!" I said while blushing.

"Bye Kimmy!" Jack then kissed me on my cheek and ran to science class with Ms. Holly.

Time Skip:

It was after school and Jack was walking me home. I could sense that Jack was very grumpy right now.

"Jack what's wrong? You haven't talked the whole way here and your not holding my hand or anything?"

"I'm sorry Kim, I just have a lot on my mind!" Hmmm... that's weird. Jack doesn't usually take it out on me, and he usually calls me Kimmy.

"Well, here we are Jack! I will all you later ok?"

"Ok, whatever. Goodbye!" Ok what is wrong with Jack right now! Oh what ever, I will let him be. I leaned up to kiss him, but he turned his head away and walked off to his house.

"Bye Kim!" he yelled back glumly. What's wrong with him? The only answer that came to my head for that question was...
