BPOV-

''You okay,'' Rory asks as he and Blair help with my exercises, Michelle supervising us the whole time.

''Yeah,'' I look to Michelle, who nods.

Here goes everything.

Slowly, I let go of the bar.

''Dad?''

''Blaine?''

The first few steps are hard, but definitely better than a month ago. I can support more of my own weight, and take more steps.

''I've got him,'' Rory tells Bair, helping me before I fall.

It sucked keeping this a secret from them, but the look on their faces, the smiles, was all worth it.

''H-how long have you been able to walk,'' Blair asks, handing me my lunch and sitting next to me on the bed.

''For about a month,'' I answer, ''I wanted it to be a surprise for you guys. But if things are going this well, I should be working again in January.''

I'm not giving up until I can walk into that choir room.

''Thank you. I'm glad I was there for you, and so is Rory. He's be here right now if he didn't have the pick the twins up early,'' she reminds me.

There must be something going around. The twins got sick at day care, and Blair had to pick up Grace early, too.

''So,'' she leans against a pillow ,''Do you think you'll be walking by May?''

''Well before then, I believe,'' I take another bite of my sandwich, wondering where this is leading.

''Good. Because… I need you to walk me down the aisle in May,'' she looks at the wall, then at me.

''In May? Are you sure about this?''

''Yes,'' she smiles ,''He's the one, dad. Didn't you just know with Kurt?''

''I guess you have a point.''

I just don't want you to make a decision you're not ready to handle.

''I know that Ryder and I haven't had the best relationship. And I can admit that there have been fights, cheating, and times I thought we should just give up. But I love him, and he loves me. And we both love Noah. I think it's worth it,'' Blair explains ,''But I need you there, and I need you to support me. Your opinion matters the most to me. So if you think it isn't a good idea, then I will wait.''

I want her to be happy, obviously. But I want her to make her own decisions. It's kind of hard to believe my twenty-year-old daughter wants to get married, but I saw this coming. It was so much easier to let Rory go. The thing with Blair is that I watched her grow up. I only adopted her about ten years ago.

Still, she's not asking permission. She just wants me to be there for her, like I always said I would.

''Blair Anderson, it would be my honor to walk you down the aisle.''

''Thank you so much,'' she hugs me, '''For your support I mean.''

I guess we all have to let go eventually.

No matter how scary that is.

''Grace is coughing,'' she pulls out of the hug ,''I'm gonna go get her.''

She practically skips out of the room, heading towards Grace.

She's grown up now, and she can make her own decisions. My little girl grew up, and had her own kids. Someday she'll probably understand this mixture of pride, happiness, and complete sadness I feel.

But she'll also feel the way I do about being a parent: that it's the most rewarding thing that has ever happened.

And you wouldn't change a thing, no matter what.

BlairPOV-

''Ryder? Noah?,'' I walk into the apartment ,''I picked up dinner… hey, what are you two doing?''

Ryder and Noah are in the livingroom, surrounded by old newspaper.

''Hey. He wanted to finger paint,'' Ryder shows me one of Noah's paintings ,''And I just joined in.''

''Let me see,'' I lay my jacket on the couch, sitting next to them ,''Noah, this is so nice! Who's this supposed to be honey.''

''Me, mommy, daddy,'' he points with a paint-covered finger.

''I love it, sweetie. As soon as it dries, we can put it on the refrigerator,'' I press a kiss to his black curls , ''So what have you been up to today, Ryder?''

''Not much. Got off work early, went to the class that wasn't canceled, and picked Noah up, and gave him his dinner. How are you? And how's Blaine?''

''He's doing better. Rory is staying the night with him, so he and the twins our probably on the air mattress. I'm not sure. He can walk,'' I smile ,''Which means he should be set to walk me down the aisle.''

''So,'' Ryder smirks, still painting with Noah, ''We'll officially be married in May.''

''Yes we will,'' I sit behind Noah, watching him paint, ''Married, and living in our new apartment.''

It finally feels like everything is going right.

''And I think once I graduate from NYADA, I'm gonna work at the dance studio. It'll be a good salary, and I'll be teaching more classes. I think I need something to help support us while I move forward with my career.''

''Alright,'' he chances a look at me ,''And maybe in a few years, we can revisit the children topic.''

Maybe.

''Depending on how far along we are with our careers,'' I remind him ,''Besides, I feel like I have two children, now.''

''Don't be mean,'' he playfully pouts.

''Whatever. I'm gonna clean Noah, and get him to bed. Say ''good night' to daddy, Noah!''

''Night, daddy,'' Noah smiles.

''Night, buddy. I'll see you in the morning.''

Being a parent isn't easy. And I don't know how Ryder and I are going to manage school, work, raising Noah, and being married. But I know we'll figure it out.

Because if Kurt and my dad have taught me anything, it's that love doesn't give up.

RyderPOV-

''Are you ready to eat,'' Blair asks.

''Yeah. But can you come here first,'' I wait for her to join me, then pull her into my lap ,''I want to show you these.''

''Ryder, these are beautiful,'' Blair looks at the picture ,''You're so talented.''

''Thank you.''

They're beautiful because they're of her, as cheesy as that sounds. Her playing with Noah, reading, practicing her dance steps when she thinks I'm not watching..

Moments too perfect for me to miss.

''What are these for?''

''I know we've been through a lot together. Some of it was amazing, but some of it was bad. These are the moments that I like, when you're being yourself. Perfect moments. I can't promise that our life together is going to be perfect. And I can't promise that I can give you the marriage that Blaine and Kurt, or even Sugar and Rory have. But I want to make sure that this is what you want. And not just because it seems like everyone is getting married. Jake wants to propose to Marley, and Courtney and Joe are engaged. Your brother and best friend are married, now Harmony and Hunter are engaged… I just want to make sure that you want this for us. I know I talk a lot about this, but what's the point of getting married if we both aren't sure?''

I may be afraid of making my parent's mistakes, but I do want to marry her.

''Are you sure?''

''Definitely,'' I take her hand ,''I'm ready if you are.''

''I'm ready, Ryder. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm ready to do that, alright? I know you're the only one for me. Now, it's been a long day. Can we please eat, and go to bed? I'm meeting Jake to practice before work.''

''Yeah. Yeah, we can do that,'' I gently slide her off of my lap.

I guess this is real, then. We're finally getting married. Finally. After years of trying so hard to make it work, and having only Blaine and Kurt as our main supporters, we're making it official.

And this is the one time I know I'm not making a mistake.

RoryPOV-

''Finn, stop splashing your sister.''

Sugar always makes giving the kids their bath look so easy.

Judging by the mess I've created in dad and Blaine's bathroom, it isn't quite that simple.

''Okay, that's enough,'' grabbing the towel, I look at Finn, ''You guys can get your hair washed tomorrow.''

I lift Finn out of the tub, drying him off before reaching into tub to pick up Wendy.

''Okay, pajama time,'' I smile at the one-year-olds.

''No!''

''Finn, please. Just help me out here,'' I pick up his pajamas ,''You're sleepy, I'm sleepy, and you're sister is sleepy. Besides, no pajamas, no bed time story, and no talking to mommy.''

He pouts, but lets me dress him in his pajamas before helping his sister.

''Alright,'' I take their tiny hands ,''Let's go see if we can talk to mommy.''

''Yay!,'' Wendy beams, pulling on my hand.

It doesn't take long for Sugar to log on, and soon she's smiling back at me.

''Mommy!''

''Hello, Wendy! And hello to you, Finn. Hope you two haven't been giving daddy a hard time,'' she grins, laughing when I shake my head.

''You're worried for nothing! I told you I can handle them?''

''You attempted to give them a bath, I see,'' she inspects my wet shirt ,''How well did that go.''

''Hey. I got them to eat their vegetables. One victory at a time,'' I smile at my wife.

''I'm sorry. You know I'm joking. You're a fantastic dad,'' she insists.

''And you're a great mom. Unfortunately, it's time for them to go to bed,'' I look at the clock, which reads 8 o'clock, ''What time is it there?''

''About two,'' she shrugs ,''Okay. Good night, Finn and Wendy. I love you.''

''Love you,'' Wendy waves, as does Finn, who's already half-asleep.

''I'll be back,'' I stand, taking the kids into the living room ,'' you need me, I'm just gonna say goodbye to mommy. Then I'll be right back to read you your story. Okay?''

Finn and Wendy nod, letting me cover them with the blanket before going back to finish up the conversation with Sugar.

''Alright, baby. Everything is taken care of.''

''I was never really worried,'' she reminds me ,''I know I left my kids in good hands.''

''I can't wait until you're back, though. This morning routine is so much easier when you're helping me.''

''You're doing fine. I know you are. But you have a busy day tomorrow, so get some sleep. I love you,'' Sugar grins.

''I love you, too.''

''I have to go. We have a meeting at eight in the morning. Bye.''

''Bye.''

I log off, turning off the computer before joining the kids in the livingroom.

To my surprise, they're already asleep. Not that I'm complaining. I love these kids more than I love my own life. But the quiet is nice.

Pressing a kiss to both of their heads, I turn the light off, before laying on the couch.

Dad and Blaine made raising us seem easy, even though I know it wasn't. Being a parent is definitely a learning process that never ends. But I think it's worth it.

There's movement in the corner of my eye, and I turn to see Finn moving closer to his sister, the blanket keeping them both warm.

It's still hard to believe Sugar and I had these two beautiful babies. I used to think I was so happy, and now I know that I am.

And, yeah, it's definitely all worth it.

BPOV-

''I've got her. Jacob is already in bed,'' he whispers ,''Night, Blaine. Good night, Kurt.''

''Night, Liam,'' Kurt smiles from the computer screen.

''Good night, Liam,'' I speak quietly before turning back to the computer ,''They wanted tosya goodnight to you.''

''Because we've got sweet kids,'' he reminds me ,''I trust everything is going well on your end, yeah?''

''Yes. Rory and Blair were such a big help. Rory and the twins are spending the night. Liam, Jacob, Jade and Grace have eaten, brushed their teeth, done their homework, and are in bed. And Liam has someone he wants us to meet when you get back.''

''Someone special,'' Kurt smiles.

''From the way he was flustered, I'd say so.''

''Ah, young love. I notice you're pretty happy tonight yourself,'' Kurt looks up from one of his designs ,''Spill.''

''I'm a little happy, a little worried. Ryder and Blair are getting married in May,'' I groan ,''My little girl is growing up.''

''Your little girl already grew up, honey. And she's a smart, independent, beautiful, talented young woman. She knows what she's doing.

I sure hope you're right.

''I know,'' I respond instead,'' I just don't want her to spread herself too thin. She didn't seem too sure.''

''SHe wouldn't marry him unless she was sure. Look, I was the same way with Rory. But I didn't say anything, and that is turning out amazingly. Trust she made the right choice, babe.''

''Alright. I hate when you're right,'' I tease.

''But I'm always right. However, it is well after midnight here, and I need sleep. I love you, Blaine.''

''I love you, too. Good night, Kurt.''

We log off, and I set my computer to the side before turning off the light.

Of course I wish my husband was here next to me, but he will be soon enough.

And we'll both be back where we belong.

What do you think? Blaine spends time with the younger kids in the next chapter. And another wedding to look forward to?
