KPOV-

''Did you apologize to your sister,'' I ask Jacob, sitting on his bed.

He nods, staring at his stuffed dinosaur.

It's the third week of November, and this month has been absolutely crazy.

Sugar and I wrapped up preparation for another fashion show, Blaine is walking again, and shopping for two restless kids is harder than I thought it'd be.

And I love it.

''And do you understand why telling her there were monsters under her bed is wrong?''

''Yes,'' he looks at me ,''I'm sorry.''

''You're forgiven. Just… try not to tell her things like that again, yeah?''

''Alright,'' he lays back ,''Can you read me the story now? I'm tired.''

''Alright. And don't forget, I'm picking you up early tomorrow. I have to get Cooper and grandma from the airport, and won't be back by the time that you and Gracie get out. And your brother and sister will be staying late at school, helping with the food drive. So remember to remind your teacher, okay?''

''Alright,'' he smiles, picking up the book ,''I'm ready.''

` He settles back into the bed, and I sit on the edge, opening the book.

After all of the insanity this past month, it's nice to just relax with my kids.

Because moments like this can never be repeated.

BPOV-

''I've got the flashlight,'' I look to Grace, who is huddled up on her bed, arms wrapped around her legs.

''Be careful!,'' she motions for me to get on her bed, and I do ,''The monsters can get you, papa.''

''Honey, there are no monsters under the bed. Your brother was messing with you,'' I turn on the flashlight, ''And I'm going to prove it to you.''

I look under her bed, nothing but a few dust bunnies, shoes and, dolls.

''Is it under there?''

''Come see,'' I smile as she leans over the side of her bed, looking at the contents beneath it ,''Now, do you see any dust bunnies?''

''No. But it's dirty!''

''Well, we can take care of that tomorrow. For now, I'm going to read you your story, and then you have to go to bed. Alright,'' I pick the book off of her bookshelf.

''Alright,'' she settles back into the bed, under her covers, with her stuffed animals ,''Ready, papa.''

She'll be asleep by the time I am halfway through, but I begin to read anyways.

They're only this little, this dependent, once. You have to enjoy it while it lasts.

Sure enough, Gracie is asleep by the time I am halfway done. I turn off the light, pressing a kiss to her head before joining my husband in the bedroom.

Wow. It's been three years, and I still can't get over the fact that I'm married to this incredible man.

''Hey,'' I crawl in bed, wrapping an arm around his waist, ''Please tell me you are exhausted as I am.''

''Yes,'' he turns to face me ,''Jade and Liam have their homework done, and are on their way to bed. What do you have planned for tomorrow?''

''Getting the apartment ready, since mom is staying with us. And… and she said dad will fly out next week,'' I close my eyes when his breath hitches.

''Are you going to be okay with that? This is your home, Blaine. You deserve at least one place where you can feel safe,'' Kurt presses his hand to my cheek ,''I need you to feel comfortable.''

''I want to work things out with him, okay? I promise if it becomes too much, I'll ask him to leave, as politely as I can,'' I open my eyes ,''He's not going to make you or the kids feel uncomfortable, alright? I draw the line there.''

It's one thing to make me feel bad about myself, but my family? No.

''I'm proud of you,'' Kurt kisses me.

As usual, a simple kiss turns into more, hands moving to my pants.

''We can't do this,'' Kurt groans, pulling his hand back ,''You know one of them is going to come in here. It's been months, and I really miss it, but we can't.''

''Right,'' my voice comes out in pants ,''But we can get a hotel room after Harmony and Hunter's engagement party, yeah?''

''Definitely,'' he laces his fingers with mine ,''I love you.''

''I love you, too. Now, let's get some sleep. I know it's not even ten, but still. We have a long day tomorrow.''

With that, we settle back into the covers, Kurt's head on my chest, my arm wrapped around him.

For once, it's just nice to have everything go back to normal.

BlairPOV-

''Which one,'' I point to the dresses, sitting next to Noah on the bed.

It's the night of Harmony and Hunter's engagement party, and he'll be sleeping over Ryder's mom's house.

Ryder's been really worried about her since his parents filed for divorce, and she adores Noah.

Noah is almost two years old, as hard as that is to believe, and he's come a lot farther than the doctor's said he would. He's doing well with the potty training, and is speaking as fluently as a 23 month old can. He can walk up and down the stairs with a little help, he's getting along well with the kids at daycare, and, with the exception of a few temper tantrums and coloring on our new refrigerator after we moved, is pretty well behaved.

Ryder and I may not have planned on another child when I was barely out of high school, and we have definitely been a lot more careful these past few years.

We definitely don't regret Noah, though. He- along with Grace- is way too important to us.

''The red one!,'' he points, and I nod.

''Good choice,'' I kiss his head ,''Are you going to behave for your grandma tonight?''

With a nod, he focuses on his book.

''Stay here, alright? Mommy will be back,'' I walk towards the bathroom, now that he is absorbed in his book.

In a matter of minutes, I'm dressed in the red, short sleeve, mid-thigh length, bodycon dress.

''What do you think,'' I ask Noah, walking into the room and examining myself in the mirror.

''Beautiful, mommy,'' he gives me a thumbs up, looking like his dad in every possible way.

''Thank you,'' I sit down, scooping him up and putting him on my lap, ''Are you going to miss me and daddy?''

He nods, laying his head on my shoulder.

He's so loving, a lot like Ryder. People can say what they want about Ryder and I, and I'll be the first to admit that we have done some pretty messed up things to each other, but Ryder is a great dad.

''Where's daddy,'' Noah questions as I sit at the dresser, attempting to finish straightening my hair.

''He's on his way from work, honey,'' I turn to face him, ''Can you get mommy a pair of shoes?''

With a nod, he slides off of the low bed, toddling towards the closet, pulling out the first pair that he sees.

Which just happen to be my red, sparkly converses.

''Thank you, honey,'' I kiss his cheek, slipping them on as there is a knock on the door.

''I'll get it,'' Noah practically screams, running towards the door.

''No you won't,'' I follow closely behind, opening the door and setting him on my hip.

''Hey,'' Ryder grins sheepishly, one hand behind his back ,''I left my keys.''

''You would,'' I press a kiss to his lips before looking to Noah ,''Say hi to daddy. We're going to leave in a minute.''

''Alright,'' Ryder nods, taking Noah from me ,''I'll put his coat on. You go finish getting ready.''

Noah's beaming at his dad, looking at him adoration.

Ryder and I have been through a lot together, and we're determined to get married in May.

We're ready to take that next step, and no one's going to stop us. Dad and Kurt support it, and so does Mr. Lynn. And I'm sure Brody will, too.

Now we just have to tell Ryder's mom that we have definitely decided on May. We have agreed to act civil towards each other, for Ryder and Noah's sake. But it's very clear that we're not each other's favorite person.

''You ready,'' Ryder asks, putting Noah's hat on him as I slide on my denim jacket and black scarf.

''Yeah,'' I pick Noah up, settling him on my hip again as I take Ryder's hand ,''I'm ready.''

For whatever happens.

SugarPOV-

''I just don't get what the big deal is,'' Rory insists, tightening his grip on the steering wheel.

''Of course you don't,'' I look at my mini tulle skirt.

''Well thanks for making me feel stupid,'' he laughs humorlessly ,''I really needed that, babe.''

We've just dropped the kids off at my mom's, but I've been snapping on Rory all day.

He really doesn't deserve it.

''Whatever, Rory. Let's just go in,'' I stare at the restaurant, where Harmony and Hunter's engagement party is.

''No, we need to work this out,'' he takes the key out of the ignition ,''Talk to me, Sugar.''

''If you don't get why I'm upset, then-''

''Sugar,'' Rory turns to me ,''I love you, I love our kids, and I love our life. But I am not going to sit here and act like I always understand you. Because I don't. Tell me what's wrong, so we can work on fixing it.''

That's what I've always loved about him: he let's me be myself, but let's me know when I'm being unreasonable.

''You're right. I'm sorry. Me being mad has nothing to do with anything you did,'' I stare out of the window, ''Let's just go.''

''Sugar,'' Rory says pointedly ,''Talk to me.''

''Fine,'' I wipe at stubborn tears as they spill from my eyes ,''I invited my dad to the fashion show because maybe he'll finally, finally be a little more proud. And he wants to be his girlfriend. You know, the woman who he was seeing while still married to my mom? I know mom was seeing someone else, too, but at least she is willing to wait until I'm ready to meet him. He told me if I don't let his girlfriend come, then he won't come. S-so, he is essentially choosing her over me.''

''Sugar,'' Rory breathes out, rubbing my back soothingly ,''I am so, so sorry.''

''I told him not to come. Kurt has been more of a dad to me, and I can not afford to be stressed.''

''I'm here for you. Please don't keep everything in like that, Sugar,'' Rory lifts my hand to his lips, kissing it ,''And please don't hold everything in like that. We're raising two toddlers, and we're under enough stress with work, and you going to school part time, and me being a full time student.''

''I know,'' I sigh ,''It's just… my parents were a lot like us. Got married young, had a kid not even a year later, under a lot of stress… I really don't want to end up like them. I d-don't want you to find some prettier, curvier, nicer, smarter girl, and everything we've tried to work for just disintegrates.''

Why can't we be like Kurt and Blaine? They take everything that comes at them, and they beat it. All while raising four kids, holding down full time jobs, and still managing to make time for eachother.

I want that, and I'm willing to work for it, but I still have my doubts.

''We are not your parents, we're not my parents, we're nobody but who we are. I love you, okay? And I would never do that to you,'' Rory leans his forehead against mine ,''My parents were married for fifteen years, and I believe anyone can make it. Hell, look at Ryder and Blair. If they can make it work, and they actually have cheated on each other, then anyone can make it work. I'm not giving up, unless you want me to.''

''Promise?''

''I promise. Here's what's going to happen: we are going to go to this engagement party, congratulate the couple, and catch up with our old friends. We are going to get a hotel room after we leave, and catch up on some much needed alone time, just so I can remind you how much I love you. Remind you how much I love your body, because it's your body. I'll help you love yourself, because there is no perfect body type, but yours is perfect to me. Tomorrow, when we pick the kids up, we will take them to the aquarium. And we'll deal with temper tantrums, or Wendy wanting to wear her tutu everywhere, or Finn being more interested in the souvenirs than the actual fish. Now, let's go in. It's getting cold,'' he unbuckles his seatbelt.

Rory is right, I guess. It's not fair for me to compare our relationship to anyone else's. My insecurities may never completely vanish, but Rory has never broken a promise to me.

I really don't think he's going to start now.

BPOV-

''You're incredible, you know what?''

''I try.''

It's been a long time since Kurt and I danced together, and, for a while there, I thought I never would be able to again.

But here we are. holding eachother close as Courtney and Joe singing an acoustic version of Teenage Dream.

''I actually can't wait to get to the hotel after this,'' he whispers in my ear ,''I've missed you, Blaine.''

It's been months. As much as we love the kids, every couple needs some time to just be.

''Yeah?''

''Yeah,'' he presses a kiss to my lips ,''My dad and Carole are watching the kids, and Cooper and your mom are there to help them. And tomorrow we can spend time together as a family. Tonight is all about you and me.''

''Can't we just leave now,'' I groan quietly ,''We already congratulated Harmony and Hunter.''

He let's out a laugh, and shakes his head as the song ends ,''No. I'm going to go get a drink, do you want one?''

''Please,'' I nod, ''I'll go get us a table.''

With another kiss to my lips, Kurt waltzes towards the bar.

''Hey,'' Rory, Hunter, Jake, Joe and Ryder motion me over towards them, and I follow.

''Hey, guys. How are you doing? And where are the girls?''

''Over there,'' Ryder nods towards the makeshift dance floor, and I find Sugar, Amber, Lilly, Harmony, Marley, Courtney, Kate, and Blair are dancing.

''Ah,'' I nod ,''Why aren't you with them?''

''They kind of pushed us off of the dance floor,'' Joe explains ,''Not that we're complaining, because we didn't want to dance too much anyways.''

''We're just catching up. Planning the bachelor party,'' Hunter smirks ,''And being grateful we got a chance to take a break.''

''You do realize that as soon as a slow song plays, they'll be back, right,'' I raise an eyebrow, laughing when they collectively groan ,''Suck it up. High school dances should have prepared you for this.''

''Sit down,'' Ryder pats the seat next to him, and I join him ,''So I guess Blair told you that the wedding is in May.''

''Yes. Kurt and I are willing to help pay, you know.''

''Thanks. Look, I know Blair and I have put each other through a lot, but I do love her, and I love Noah. I'm ready to start my life with her,'' Ryder says quietly, smiling fondly at where she is dancing.

''I know what you mean,'' I look over to Kurt, who is chatting with Harmony's mom, ''You know once you find the person. Don't let anyone tell you differently.''

If I did, Kurt and I would never have even started dating.

Luckily for me, I've learned to ignore any negative voices in my head.

''Being married is amazing,'' Rory admits ,''I mean, there are definitely some moments where you just want to pull your hair out and scream. But it's all worth it at the end of the day.''

The way Rory is looking at Sugar is confirmation, and I know that she is just as in love with him.

''I'm happy for you. For all of you. Everyone deserves to have someone that loves them for who they are,'' I smile as Kurt walks towards me, drinks in hand, ''I've got to go. Congratulations to all of you.''

''Here you go,'' he presses the iced drink into my hand ,''What was that all about?''

''Nothing,'' I shrug, wrapping an arm around my husband, ''I'm just really lucky to have you in my life.''

Because you mean the world to me, as my best friend, husband, and the only person who really gets me.

I definitely don't take that for granted.

KatePOV-

''You ready to go back to my apartment,'' I ask Amber, helping her with her jacket after sliding my own on.

''Yeah. This was nice, you know? Seeing Mr. Anderson and everyone from glee,'' she smiles, buttoning her coat ,''And seeing you fall on your ass wasn't half bad, either.''

''You're lucky you're cute,'' I roll my eyes ,''Because that personality is not attractive.''

She does have a point though. Mr. Anderson is going to be teaching again starting in January, and I couldn't be happier.

If he's teaching those kids half as much as he taught us, then they're lucky.

Especially if the advice he gave me earlier is even a hint of how helpful he is.

With a fond look at his husband, he'd told me to hold on when I know I have a good thing.

Amber laughs, taking my hand in hers, ''You know I love you.''

Yeah, I definitely have a good thing.

''I love you, too. Look,'' I turn her to face me, taking her face in my hands- even if I think it's cheesy, she loves it- and smiling slightly ,''I know I'm not always the easiest to be with. And I know you're hesitant of being with me after everything I did to Blair. But I would never do that to you, baby. I learned my lesson. And I really want this to work out, okay? I wanna have it all. I want to marry you, and adopt a kid one day. Just like my dad is doing with Dave. And I can only hope that you want that with me.''

Please say that you do.

''Of course I do,'' she wraps her arms around my waist ,''I'm positive. Now, it's getting late. Let's get to the apartment.''

Mr. Anderson was right, I guess. If you want something, anything, sometimes you can't be afraid to take a fall.

And you just hope that the landing isn't too horrible.

RoryPOV-

''Well,'' Sugar lays her head on my shoulder ,''That was kind of incredible.''

''I know,'' I kiss her tousled hair ,''I love you.''

''I love you, too,'' she moves closer, pulling the sheets around herself ,''I've missed that.''

''I have, too,'' I admit ,''But at least we've got some alone time after all of these months.''

''True,'' she tangles her legs with mine ,''I know this has never been the most important part of our relationship, but I do love being with you like this.''

''Good,'' I pull her closer ,''Are you at all convinced I'm serious about us?''

Don't doubt we're going to prove them wrong, prove yourself wrong, and make it.

''I know you are. And I am too. But I need to tell you something,'' she confesses ,''I really, really want another baby. Now.''

''But we can barely afford the twins,'' I remind her ,''Not until I get a better job.''

''But I'm making more money now,'' she insists ,''Look, can we just think about it?''

''How about this: we will keep using protection, and being careful. If you do get pregnant, okay then. Now that the twins have their own room, we could put the crib in our room. Deal?''

''Deal,'' she lays her head on my shoulder again ,''I love you.''

''I love you, too.''

With that, we both slowly drift off to sleep, content to stay like this as long as we can.

RyderPOV-

''Why don't we do this more often,'' I roll onto my side, facing Blair.

''Because we have a toddler,'' she laughs, moving closer to me ,''But this is very nice.''

''It is. Don't worry, we do have a honeymoon to enjoy,'' I insist, wrapping an arm around her bare waist ,''Kurt and Blaine want to help, and so does my dad. Now we just have to tell my mom.''

''You know she doesn't like me,'' Blair insists.

No, she doesn't.

''Yes, she does. And if she doesn't, we'll show her how amazing you are until she does.''

Kurt and Blaine accept me, even after all of the crap Blair and I put each other through.

So why can't she accept Blair?

''Thank you, by the way,'' she runs her hands up and down my side ,''Not just for that, but for this. This relationship has gotten a lot better. And you and I are raising this amazing little boy. And you are such a good dad. I know I don't have to worry about you straying again, like you don't have to worry about me ever cheating on you again. I can't explain why I did that to us, but it'll never happen again.''

''I know,'' I move hair off of her shoulders ,''I promised your dad I would be good to you, and you'd be good to me. I think we can make this work this time around.''

We have to. We're meant to be, no matter what anyone else thinks.

''I love you. And I love that you helped me love my body. I may not always love it the way I should, and I don't even want to look in the mirror some days because I just don't think I'm pretty. But I love my body for what it has done, what it can do, and because I'm a lot healthier now.''

''You are not your body. But your body is beautiful,'' I shrug ,''Everybody's is. And you are so beautiful.''

You know how smart and talented you are, now I want to make you see what I see.

''Yeah?''

''Mhm,'' I run my hand down her back, turning us so I'm on top ,''I love you. I love your personality, brain, and heart. Physically? I love the parts you hate: your thighs, your stomach, and your hips. Every. Single. Inch.''

Blair doesn't respond, just brings her lips back to mine, and we find ourselves in the same position we were in ten minutes ago.

She won't hear me complaining, though.

After all, I am finally, finally happy.

There's nothing that can ruin that

KPOV-

''Are you trying to convince me that we need to do this again,'' I laugh breathily, attempting to ignore my husband pressing his lips to the sweaty skin of my shoulder.

''Of course. I've missed your body against mine,'' He moves closer under the covers ,''But we don't have to.''

Even in moments like this, when he's as insatiable as ever, Blaine still manages to be a gentleman.

''What am I gonna do you,'' I smile fondly, taking his hand and lacing my fingers with his.

''I could think of a few things,'' he smirks.

''I change my mind, idiot,'' I shake my head, and Blaine throws his head back as he laughs.

That same laugh that is one of the many reasons that I fell in love with him.

''I saw you talking to Ryder and Rory. What was that about?''

''Oh,'' he sighs ,''Talking about married life. Considering my little girl is getting married.''

''She's ready, Blaine. I see the way those two look at each other, okay? She's making the choice that's right for her,'' I remind him.

Like we made the choices right for us.

''I know. It's not that, it's just… she had somehow convinced herself that you and I would be divorced. We'd only been married a short while when she said this, mind you. As a dad, I'm just glad she found someone that she can be herself with, even if their past together isn't the best.''

''We all want that for our kids: for them to be happy. I know that my dad and mom wanted that for me,'' I kiss his forehead ,''And now I have you.''

''And you love me every day? Because I love you every day?''

''Every day,'' I nod ,''Even your worse days.''

We both get insecure- in our jobs, in our talents, in our parenting abilities and even in our bodies.

But this relationship is the one solid thing that we both have.

''Come on,'' I smile, bringing him closer ,''Let me show you how much I love you, how handsome and incredible I think that you are.''

We only have so much time together, but I'm not looking to the future at the moment.

I'm just going to focus on the here and now.

Sorry I haven't updated! I started physical therapy this week, and I am exhausted. Also, a Kate moment for my friend, who has been so supportive. Klaine bonds with the family in the next chapter, things get heated, and confessions are made! What do you think they are?
