The talk with Scratchy did the trick. Ricky was back in the zany game and was now with the Warners, terrorizing people and having fun. It had been three days and no nightmares, so Ricky couldn't help but smile. They were currently running from Ralph as they avoided his net.

"Duuuh, get back here!" Ralph said as he swung his net at them, only to miss.

"How can a guy that fat run that fast?" Ricky asked.

"Years of doughnuts and practice?" Yakko said, causing them all to laugh.

"That might be it." Ricky said before they came to a fork. While the Warners ran left, Ricky ran right. "Whoops!" he said before he looked back to see Ralph going after him. "YIPE!" he said as he put in an extra burst of speed and ran towards the park. He ran towards the trees before climbing up one and hiding in the branches. As he caught his breath, he looked down to see Ralph run around a few trees before stopping and looking around.

"Duuuh, where'd he go?" he asked. As he looked around, Ricky thought he'd give another trick he learned a try. Reaching into his hammer space, he pulled out a sign before lowering it so Ralph could see it.

-HE WENT THATAWAY- the sign read with an arrow pointing away from the tree.

"Duuuh, thanks." Ralph said before he ran off. Ricky just stared in amazement before he clapped a hand over his mouth to keep from laughing too loudly. He was brought out of his laughter when he felt something fall on his head.

"Ouch." he said as the object fell to the ground.

"Sorry about that." came a voice from above him. He looked up to see a small brown squirrel with a basket looking down at him. "I dropped an acorn."

"No worries." Ricky said as the squirrel hopped down next to him.

"You look like one of the Warners." the squirrel said as he got a good look at Ricky. "Except your nose is green."

"Everyone says that. I'm Ricky. Nice to meet you." Ricky said as he held out his hand.

"I'm Skippy Squirrel." Skippy said as they shook hands. "So you're not a Warner?"

"Nope. My last name's Torrent." Ricky said as he rested against the tree.

"Where you from?"

"I honestly don't know. I've got a bit of memory loss, so everything's fuzzy." Ricky said.

"Wow, that sounds rough." Skippy said as he picked some more acorns from the tree.

"That's a lot of acorns." Ricky said.

"They're not just for me." Skippy said as he filled his basket to brimming. "They're also for my Aunt Slappy."

"Slappy?" Ricky asked.

"Yeah. Wanna meet her?" Skippy asked as he climbed down the tree.

"Sure." Ricky said as he jumped down the tree next to him. "Just gotta watch out for Ralph." he said before they both started walking. After a few minutes, they both came up to a big tree with a blue door and a window with some flowers on the windowsill.

"Here we are." Skippy said.

"Looks cozy." Ricky said as Skippy opened the door and invited him in.

"That you Skippy?" came an aged voice from another room.

"It's me Aunt Slappy. We've got a visitor." Skippy said.

"Who is it?"

"My new friend, Ricky Torrent." Skippy said.

"New friend huh?" Slappy said. They could faintly hear her say something about some wolf in a disguise as she came into the room. Ricky then saw that it was a old Gray squirrel with a green hat with a flower coming out of it and an umbrella in her hand. She paused when she saw Ricky. "Someone actually made another one of you?" she asked.

"I don't think he's related to them Aunt Slappy." Skippy said as he placed the basket of acorns on the table. Slappy walked up to Ricky to inspect the new toon.

"Good point. Green nose makes him different, that's for sure." she said before she turned around and walked towards the doorway she came from. "So Ricky, where ya from?"

"Don't know. Memory loss." Ricky said with a shrug.

"Empty headed huh?" she said.

"More or less." Ricky replied. "It's been coming back in bits and pieces, but..."

"But?" she said.

"Everytime I remember something, I wake up to people giving me worried looks."

"That so?" she asked.

"What do you remember?" Skippy asked.

"I'm Ricky Torrent. I'm 16. I play a synthesizer. I hate any body of water bigger than a bathtub. I like a girl I can't remember, and despise this one guy named Vance. That's about it."

"That's all?" he asked.

"Afraid so." he said.

"So whatcha doin in Burbank then kid? Running around with the Warners?" Slappy asked.

"Yeah. It's fun, and it kills time." Ricky said.

"What about your memory?" Skippy asked.

"It's coming to me. I went to see Dr. Scratchnsniff, and he said not to try and force it." Ricky said.

"Sounds like you're having fun." Slappy said as she poured herself some acorn coffee.

"I may have a fractured mind, but I'm betting that I haven't had this much fun in my whole life." Ricky said with a smile. Before they could continue, someone was knocking at the door.

"Wonder who that is?" Skippy said as Slappy went to answer the door.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming." Slappy said as she opened the door. When she did, they saw a drooling bison at the door dressed as a postman.

"Deh package delivery for Slappy squirrel." he said.

"Wow, that guy needs a bib." Ricky whispered to Skippy.

"That so?" she said as she took the package from him. Before the bison could walk away, Slappy tapped him on the shoulder. "Hate to break it to ya, but there's no stamp on this package."

"Oh. My mistake Miss Squirrel." said the bison as he took the package away and walked off. Slappy then shut the door before she and her nephew went to the window.

"Who was that guy?" Ricky asked as he watched out the window too.

"Just a yutz who could never beat me." Slappy said as the Bison went behind some bushes. Ricky just looked confused until the bushes exploded. His eyes shot open as three figures were blown sky high before crashing down to the same spot.

"What just happened?" Ricky asked.

"The old 'Special Delivery Bomb Gag' is what happened." Slappy said. They all saw from the smoking figures that it was a wolf, a squid, and the bison from before. Slappy explained who they were before Ricky understood anything.

"Does that happen a lot?" he asked.

"Yeah, but they never learn." she said before another knock came from the door. "Now who is it?"

"Duuuh, Miss Squirrel?" came a familiar voice from behind the door.

"Uh oh! Ralph!" Ricky said as he looked around the room for a place to hide.

"Follow me." Skippy said as he grabbed Ricky's arm and they ran upstairs before Slappy opened the door.

"What d'ya want Ralph?" Slappy asked in a grumpy tone.

"Duuuh, has you seens a Warner with a green nose?" he asked. As Slappy held him off, Ricky and Skippy climbed down from the upper level window.

"Thanks Skippy. Tell your aunt it was nice meeting you two." Ricky whispered.

"Later Ricky." Skippy whispered before Ricky ran off. He got a good thirty feet away before he heard an explosion coming from behind him. He looked to see Ralph dazed and smoking before he fell down.

"Note to self: NEVER mess with Slappy Squirrel." Ricky said before he ran out of the park. He ran back to the Movie Lot to find the Warners running around and causing havoc. He smiled as he ran up next to them all.

"Hey Ricky!" Dot said. "Where you been?"

"Just meeting some locals." Ricky said before the four of them sped off.

I apologize for not updating for so long. My inspiration for this story tanked and I couldn't get back in the mood to write more for this one. Also, does the sign trick sound like it doesn't belong?
