A Jurassic trip to Mobius!
Chapter 4: Oh snap!
Jess was staring at her father while he stared back, she was filled with disbelieve on how her father could be on Mobius while he was filled with disbelieve that his daughter was now a lynx, but Eggman could hardly believe that his own robot had just try to kiss Jess!
"Metal?! What are you doing?!" Eggman yelled at the top of his lungs, the Robo-Hog got up on his legs and stood before his master.
"I…I…I…" he kept sputtering.
"Say nothing! You will go back to base right now!" Eggman shouted at the top of his lungs and pointed to the right, Metal Sonic only nodded and flew to the base.
"Jess? What happened to you?" Gerry asked his daughter.
"Dad! I can explain!" Jess said as she got up and walked to her father.
"Cool!" Atlanta said "that is so awesome!"
"Thanks" Jess said.
"Jess, why and how are you a lynx?" Nima asked.
"It was a chaos emerald, Tails said that-"
"Who is Tails?" Gerry asked "you know what? I don't want to hear it, we are getting you home and figuring out a way onto getting you back to normal" he grabbed Jess's arm and tried to drag her but she freed herself.
"No dad" Jess said.
"What?"
"I'm not going back to normal" Jess said "I want to stay a lynx, no matter how crazy it sounds" Gerry looked at his daughter with surprise "I was on a date with a guy who actually likes me! I want to stay a lynx!"
"Jess, listen to me" Gerry said.
"No! Listen to me!" Jess said "after we left Isla Nublar, nothing changed! You kept skipping every time I wanted to do something, so that you could be a veterinarian!"
"That's because I had a job to do Jess" Gerry sternly said.
"Is this natural?" Eggman asked Nima.
"Yes actually" Nima replied.
"A job, sure" Jess said "but where were you when there was a Parent/teacher conference and I needed you there?"
"In the New York City zoo, helping a tigress deliver its litter" Gerry said.
"And the school camping trip?" Jess asked.
"Getting a tube out of a dog's stomach" Gerry said.
"And all the times I tried to set you up on a blind date?" Jess asked.
"I was-Wait, those blind dates were your idea?" Gerry asked, Jess looked sheepishly at the ground and whistled "I can't believe you! I told you that-"
"Told me what? That I probably wanted to find you a girlfriend?" Jess asked "I thought it would be nice!"
"When we get home, you are grounded!" Gerry said.
"Fine! I don't care! Because I'm not coming home!" Jess yelled "I'm staying here on Mobius!"
"She has a point Mr. Harding" Eggman said, Gerry turned to the old doctor and looked at him angrily.
"What does that mean?" Gerry asked.
"It means, you, your daughter and your friends are not leaving this planet!" Eggman said as he smiled evilly "Silver-Sonic! Attack!" a large humanoid hedgehog dropped down in front of everyone and stood before Gerry.
"Targets acquired" Silver-Sonic said "destroy!" he aimed his right arm gun at Gerry, Jess, Nima and Atlanta. Nima grabbed her daughter and quickly ran away, Jess took off running and Gerry did the same.
"Go after them" Eggman said.
"Yes master" Silver-Sonic said and flew after the four, the four dodged any trees in their way and jumped over rocks as they ran from the robotic hedgehog.
"What was that?" Nima asked.
"It must be one of his robots! Shadow told me that-"
"Not now Jess!" Gerry shouted, he suddenly fell over a rock and tried to get up but a shocking pain ran through his leg.
"Dad!" Jess said as she ran towards her dad and tried to help him up.
"Just go! I'll be fine!" Gerry said.
"No! its okay, I'll help you-"
"Hello there" Jess and Gerry looked up to see Silver-Sonic had his arm gun aimed at her "and goodnight".
"Shi-"
"Chao spears!" a wave of spears suddenly came flying at Silver-Sonic and hit him in the chest, the robot quickly fell over and Shadow appeared out of the bushes and spin-dashed him, sending him flying in the air "now Omega!"
"Affirmative" Omega said as he flew out of the trees and shot Silver-Sonic in the body until the robot became scrap metal "target destroyed".
"Good work Omega" Shadow said, the E-Series robot nodded and landed in front of Shadow, the two looked at Gerry to see he was actually frightened to see the two, Shadow took a step forward Gerry and he flinched.
"Shadow!" Jess said "thanks for saving me, my dad, Nima and Atlanta" Shadow nodded and turned to Gerry, who was right now very frightened to see a anthropomorphic hedgehog standing in front of him, his daughter and friends.
"You okay?" Shadow dryly asked, Gerry didn't reply but only nervously nodded "good, come on Omega" Shadow turned the other way and started to walk with Omega following.
"Coming Shadow" Omega said.
"See you back at the ARK Shadow!" Jess said, Shadow didn't say anything and continued to walk, Gerry got back up on his legs but felt the same sharp pain go through his right leg.
"What was that?" Gerry asked.
"That was Shadow and Omega! They're with the Sonic Heroes!" Jess replied.
"Are you sure? Because I don't trust the hedgehog" Nima said.
"Don't worry, they're good guys" Jess said.
"Jess, you are in big trouble" Gerry said as he looked down at her with a angered face, Jess innocently looked up at her father and chuckled nervously.
"Can we talk about on the way to the ARK?" Jess asked.
"No, we can talk about this when we get home" Gerry said "now, how do we get home?"
"About that" Jess said "you need to talk about Tails about finding a way home".
"Tails? Who's Tails?" Gerry asked.
Later at Tails workshop….
"We need what?" Nima asked Tails as he sat at his computer desk, explain to them how to get home.
"A portal made with technology I have" Tails said "but that will take 4 weeks".
"4 weeks? We don't have 4 weeks" Gerry said "I have a veterinarian appointment to help a pair of chimps with a cancer problem".
"I'm sorry Mr. Harding, but I can't speed up the process" Tails said "speeding it up will damage the effects on what you want the portal to do, technological advancements take time" Gerry only nodded and walked out of the workshop.
"Dad?" Jess asked.
"He's probably just taking a walk to blow off some steam" Nima said.
"I'm going to go follow him" Jess said as she hurried out of the workshop to follow her dad, Nima turned to Tails and looked at him with an annoyed face.
"What?" Tails asked.
"How can animals talk?" Nima asked "on this planet, that is".
"It's a long story" Tails said.
Outside….
Gerry walked along the dirt path as he looked around the scenery, nothing but forest and greenery were all around him, he saw a few Mobian squirrels and monkeys play in the trees, he only continued on.
"Dad!" he turned around to see Jess running towards him "wait up!"
"Jess, I need to be alone" Gerry said.
"Dad wait!" Jess said.
"Jess, just give me some time alone" Gerry said, Jess suddenly stopped and screamed before turning around and running away, Gerry became confused and turned around to see a large robot standing before him, Gerry became petrified and fear completely overtook his body and mind.
"Oh ho ho ho!" Greetings again Dr. Harding!" a familiar voice said, the robot bent down to reveal Dr. Eggman sitting in a seat and holding the controls for the robot.
"You again?" Gerry asked.
"Yes! It is I! Dr. Eggman!" Eggman said "I believe we still have unfinished business! Do you agree?"
"Unfinished business? What unfinished business?" Gerry asked, Eggman moved the joystick to the remote down and the hand of the robot grabbed Gerry.
"The unfinished business of me destroying you!" Eggman said as the robots hand began to crush Gerry, the man tried to break free but the hand kept a hard grip on him "now, let the end for you begin!"
"Not so fast egg-butt!" a cocky voice called out, Eggman turned around to see a blue blur hit him in the face with its homing attack, Eggman started to topple back and fell out of the robot, the blue blur that hit him was Sonic.
"Sonic! How dare you!" Eggman shouted, Sonic only smirked and jumped into the seat of the robot and grabbed the controls before smashing them with his bare fists, the robots hand released Gerry onto the ground and it exploded, Sonic quickly jumped out of it and homed attacked Eggman, the old doctor was sent flying into the air "I hate that hedgehog!" he yelled, Sonic brushed off his hands and chuckled.
"Sonic: 114, Eggman: 0!" he said and turned to Gerry "hey, you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine" Gerry said as he got up "thank you".
"No problem, catch you next time!" Sonic said before running off, Gerry only stared at the spot where the blue hedgehog was before turning around and walking away.
"Maybe being on this planet for the next 4 weeks won't be so bad after all" Gerry said to himself.
