BPOV-

It's incredible. Twenty-one years ago, she came into the world, screaming. Only a few pounds, and about eighteen inches. Now, she is getting ready to get married.

Where has the time gone?

''She's grown into quite the young woman, hasn't she?,'' Kurt wraps his arms around me , staring at the picture as I do.

''She really has,'' I sigh, ''And we still have to go through this with at least five more times.''

Surprisingly, Regina is pregnant. We met close to the end of July, set everything up, and now she is getting ready to get married in only two hours.

The day that everyone could agree on was a Friday, when most of the former glee kids don't have class, or work, or could easily make up their work. The wedding is the last one before they close for the day, and then the reception is at Mr. and Mrs. William's restaurant

Since the space at the courthouse will be so limited, the former glee kids, Brody, Quinn, and Puck are meeting them at the reception.

''Are Jade and Gracie up?''

''Mhm,'' Kurt sits in my lap, ''Sugar's helping them get ready.''

Sugar, Wendy, and Blair spent the night here, while Jacob and Liam stayed with Rory, Ryder, Finn, and Noah.

''I'm gonna go talk to her,'' I sigh, and Kurt slides off of my lap, ''This is our last conversation with her as Blair Anderson.''

As much as it hurts to see her go, I know that she's happy with her decision.

''Blair,'' I knock on the door, ''Blair, honey, can I come in?''

''Yes.''

She's sitting on the edge of Kurt and my bed, staring out the window.

''Blair Anderson, you look beautiful.''

On Kurt's suggestion, she'd gotten a ivory, ''knee length, lace, fitted dress, with long, lace sleeves.''

She looks so much like her mom

''Thank you,'' she looks down at her hands, which are folded in her lap, ''But I'm very, very nervous.''

''That's normal,'' I sit next to her, and she lays her head on my shoulder, ''A lot of people do get cold feet. Hell,I did, too.''

But that didn't stop me. And I'm so glad it didn't.

''Ryder is the one. Even yesterday, when we went to get the license and sign papers, he pulled me aside and asked me if I'm sure that this is what I want. I've never been so secure about something in my life, daddy. I'm ready to commit to him. Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed with how much could go wrong.''

That's understandable. Kurt and I are stable, and those doubts still fill my mind from time to time, especially after we've had a fight.

''I see the way you two look at eachother. You're both so in love. Don't let your insecurities cloud what you already know to be true, Blair.''

That will only lead to regret.

''I guess you're right, dad,'' she sighs, ''I'd better finish getting ready. I should be done in a half hour.''

''Alright,'' I kiss her head, ''We'll be ready when you are.''

At least for the wedding. Somehow, even though I saw it happening, she grew up too fast. For years, you teach them to be their own person, and begin letting them go.

So why is this so hard now?

RyderPOV-

''Stop moving,'' my mom slaps my hand away from my tie, fixing it for me, ''You look handsome. Nice grey suit, navy tie, and you went ahead and got your hair cut. You look like you did when you were in Grease in ninth grade. Although I wish you'd worn some more sensible shoes.''

I look down at the dirty, black Converses, which I admit need to be replaced. Soon.

''Mom,'' I groan playfully, ''I can guarantee you Blair is wearing hers, too.''

It's about being comfortable today, as we get ready to take the next step.

''I know, I know,'' she steps back, ''There. I fied you're boutonniere, too.''

I turn to the mirror, staring myself up and down.

This is it. I'm finally marrying the girl I fell in love with at sixteen. And it only took us five years to get here.

Five frustrating, nerve-wracking, hurtful, incredible years.

''Mom, please don't cry,'' I turn around when I hear her sniffle, ''Mom?''

''You're so grown up,'' she wipes at her eyes, ''You were just a baby not too long ago. In half an hour, you're going to be married.''

''I know I haven't always been kind to Blair,'' she looks down, ''And I am ashamed of that. But she really does love you. And you obviously love her very, very much.''

''She means a lot to me, mom. And I am glad that you two try to get along now. I need the most important women in my life to support each other,'' I remind her, giving her a tissue, ''And thank you, mom. I may not always understand why you do what you do, but you always have my best interest at heart.''

''I really do,'' she sighs, putting her hands on my shoulder, ''I'm so proud of the loving, smart, talented, responsible man that you have grown into.''

''I couldn't agree more,'' my dad joins us, wrapping an arm around my mom's shoulder in a friendly way, ''Look at that, Jane. Our boy's all grown up.''

It's nice that they're getting along. After all, they did have to spend time together when we were working out the budget. Now that they're both dating again, I think it's easier.

''He is,'' my mom agrees, ''Grown up, and getting married.''

''Please, dad, don't you start crying,'' I laugh when he scoffs.

''Whatever. I'm just glad you two are finally settling down together. Speaking of which, you got a call on your phone,'' he hands it to me, ''We're gonna go take our seats. We'll see you out there.''

As soona s my parents exit the room, I lift the phone to my ear, ''Hello?''

''Ryder! It's me… Jordan.''

She couldn't make it, so I guess calling seemed like the best substitute to her.

''Hey! How are you doing,'' I face the mirror again as I speak, making sure everything is neat.

''I'm great. Sorry I couldn't make it to your wedding though. I'm sure it's nice,'' she speaks over the line.

''It's simple, really. Neither one of us wanted something big, not that we could afford it anyway.''

''Be that as it may, you're getting your wedding present as soon as I get back.''

''Jordan, you don't have to-''

''I know,'' I can practically see her shrug, ''I wanted to. I really screwed her over, and she's been so nice to me anyway. That's not what I called to talk about, though. I wanted to say congratulations on your big day.''

It's funny, I guess: her ex asked to help Amber play hostess at the reception until we get there, and my ex is calling to give her best wishes.

Okay, it's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it is nice. And unexpected.

''I know she treats you well. The two of you may have had a rocky start, but she is obviously so in love with you,'' Jordan continues, ''I… I was awful to you. I really mistreated you. There are a million reasons why, but it was mostly because I knew I could treat you like shit, and you'd be okay with it. I used you, and that was wrong. I did love you in a weird way, though. So I'm very happy for you. The two of you are meant to be.''

''Thanks, Jordan. Coming from you, that really means a lot,'' I tell her honestly, ''You were my first love, you know.''

And my first real heartbreak, but we won't get into that right now.

''Well, I'm honored. I've got to go, though. Good luck. And tell Blair I say hi!''

We say our goodbyes, and I give myself one last look in the mirror.

Here we go. In twenty-minutes, I'm going to take the next big step in my life, and Blair is finally taking it with me.

It's now or never.

KPOV-

''Blair, can we talk for a moment?''

She looks up from the tiny picture of her mom attached to her bouquet of red roses.

''Hi!,'' she grins.

''Hello,'' I sit next to her, ''You look beautiful.''

And in five minutes, you're going to be walking down the aisle.

''Thank you. You look handsome.''

''Thanks,'' I shift my eyes to the box in my lap, ''I have something for you.''

''No. I really can't take that, Kurt. You and dad have done so much already. Especially you. This dress you suggested is gorgeous, and I really love the knee length, lace, long sleeved dresses we got for Jade and Sugar, and the red flower girl dress you designed for Gracie. I know you worked long nights to get that together in time. And so did Sugar. ,'' she insists, looking down at her red Converses.

Yup. She and Ryder are perfect together.

''It's nothing big. I didn't spend a dime,'' I open the box, ''This is a white pillbox hat with a veil. My mom wore it on her wedding day. It means a lot to me, and I know you couldn't afford a veil, so I want you to use it for today.''

Blair looks at me with astonished eyes, shaking her head, ''I… I can't-''

''You are apart of my family, Blair. And she would have adored you, 'd want you to borrow it, too. It might make my dad happy to see it be put to good use after all of those years in a box.''

Besides, it was his idea to bring it all the way from Ohio.

''Okay,'' Blair breathes out with a nod, ''Thank you so much, Kurt. You have no idea what this means to me.''

''No problem,'' I pin some of her hair back, placing the hat on her and fixing the short, netted veil,'' There.''

''Thank you, Kurt,'' she hugs me, ''I love you.''

''I love you, too.''

''You know,'' she smirks, ''I see the way my dad looks at you. He really does love you so, so much. Hopefully, Ryder and I will have something like that.''

''I love your dad,'' I begin, ''And Ryder loves you just as much as you love him. Don't worry. We're going to be just fine. And nothing, I mean nothing, is going to take your dad and I away from each other.''

I made that promise only a few years ago, and I still mean every word of it.

We turn when the door opens, finding Blaine.

''Hey, everybody's ready…. Blair,'' he whispers with a smile, ''You look gorgeous. Just like your mother.''

''Thank you,'' she grins, standing up, checking her makeup one last time, ''Are you ready?''

''Everyone is already in there, except the bridesmaids and groomsmen. I'm ready when you are,'' Blaine holds his arm out for her.

''I'll see you in there,'' I pat her shoulder, walking towards the door.

''Kurt, wait.''

I turn around, and see Blair whispering Blaine's ear, followed by a nod from him.

''Kurt,'' Blair steps forward, I want you to walk me down the aisle.

I involuntarily make a surprised noise, eyes shifting to Blaine, who nods,''But what about Blaine?''

''I want both of you to walk me down the aisle,'' Blair clarifies, ''You've been so wonderful to me these past few years. I consider you like my dad. So I'm hoping you'll say yes.''

Well. How can I say no to that?

''Blair Anderson, it would be an honor.''

BlairPOV-

This is it.

Sugar walks in with Rory, then Jade and Liam. Followed by Gracie and Jacob, the flower girl and ring bearer.

''Don't be scared,'' dad whispers, pressing a kiss to my head.

''We've got you,'' Kurt says from my other side, arm looped through mine.

Yeah. I know. I can do this by myself, but it's nice to know you're right behind me.

''No. I'm ready,'' I nod.

I can do this.

Now or never, right?

RyderPOV-

''Calm down,'' Rory, my best man, whispers, ''Sugar's trying to figure out if you're going to throw up or not.''

I glance at Sugar, the maid of honor, who is staring at me.

''I'm just nervous. What's taking so long? Do you think she bailed on me,'' I quietly question, stomach churning at the thought.

I'm put out of my worry by the doors opening. Blaine and Kurt are on either side of blair, and…

God, she is beautiful.

Rory nudges me with a smirk on his face, probably reliving his own wedding day in his mind.

Mr. and Mrs. Hummel are smiling at her, the latter looking as if she may cry. They're holding the hands of Wendy and Finn. Then, it's Mr. and Mrs. Anderson holding Noah, and then Cooper and Danielle, and they're son Ryan.

On the other side, it's my mom and dad, my grandparents, and my mom's boyfriend, my dad's girlfriend.

Yes, I am aware of all of these people. But Blair is here, and she's smiling at me and it's all that matters.

She's all that matters.

And this is our moment.

BlairPOV-

I'm ready. I've been ready.

''Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in matrimony.''

I can feel Ryder glancing at me every so often, a soft smile on his face.

Not too much longer later, it is time for the vows.

''I'm not very good at stuff like this,'' Ryder begins me, ''I think most of my friends know I tried to write a song for you one Valentine's day, and couldn't think of anything that rhymes with 'Blair' accept 'stare, hair, and care.''

Our families laugh at that, and Ryder takes both of my hands with a shrug.

''I'm going to be a hundred percent honest here,'' he clears his throat, taking a paper menu out of his pocket, '' I wrote my vows on the back of the word search puzzle we did at the diner on our first real date. We have been through a lot together. Not all of it good, but it wasn't all bad, either. We live in a pretty nice apartment, and have a beautiful child together. We have gotten through so much by each other's sides. Lucky for me, I get to do that for the rest of my life. Blair, I love you so, so much. You really are the love of my life. I promise you, I am going to spend the rest of my life accepting you for who you are, and calmly handing our arguments, and encouraging you the way that you encourage me. I'll reassure you that you're the best dancer I've ever seen, and eat all of your favorite foods when it's your turn to pick, and share my food with you when we go to the beach, even if I don't want to.''

She giggles along with everyone else, mouthing a 'Thank you'.

''And now, Blair.''

RyderPOV-

''Well, how am I supposed to follow that,'' she laughs, turning to look at me again, taking something from Sugar before she does, ''Great minds think alike, yeah? I wrote this on the back of the paper menu of the restaurant you took me to after saving up money to take me to my first Broadway play. We didn't have the best start, and that was on both of us. And I did not always treat you well, for a million different reasons, and I regret that the way you regret doing the same to me. Somehow, though, we managed to work through all of our issues with each other. I didn't think I would find someone that loves the real me, and all of my flaws and strengths and... you do. You're so good to me. And I promise I will be just as good to you, encouraging you when you need it the most, and at least try not to get mad when you're just trying to help, and listen to all of the songs you're so excited to show me. Most of all I promise to love you the way you love me, and remain faithful, and be there for you and our beautiful, loving family.''

I am so, so lucky. I've taken that for granted in the past, as I think we both have, but not anymore. This is once in a lifetime.

There is no way I am messing this up.

BlairPOV-

''Ryder Lynn, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

''I do,'' Ryder grins, hand pressed against my cheek, the other on my waist, my hands covering his.

The judge turns to us, ''And do you take this man to be your husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

''I do,'' I breathe out.

Soon, it's time for the exchanging of the rings.

The judge looks at Jacob with a tender smile.

''May I have the rings, young man,'' she asks, and he timidly nods, presenting them to her before falling back beside Rory.

''Ryder, place the ring on Blair's finger, and repeat after me-.''

He does, not taking his eyes off of me as she continues to speak, and I stay focused on him.

"I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

It's my turn next, and this all becomes even more real for me.

RyderPOV-

''Join hands.''

Blair's hand is soft in mine, her thumb running over the back of my hand.

''By the power invested in me by the State of New York, I now pronounce you husband and wife.''

Blair lets out a small laugh, placing her hand over her mouth to conceal it.

''You may now kiss the bride.''

Soft, pink lips are on mine then, Blair standing on her toes to kiss me.

''Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Ryder Lynn and Mrs. Blair Anderson-Lynn.''

Blaine's face lights up, and he gives Blair an identical smile.

My mom is crying, my dad's trying to calm her down.

In the end, having only our family- with a few plus ones- at the wedding ceremony meant a lot more. Our friends will help us celebrate at the reception, but it was nice to share this moment with the people who mean the most to us.

''I love you, Mr. Lynn,'' Blair wraps her arms around me, beaming up at me.

''I love you, too, Mrs. Anderson-Lynn.''

Yup. I could get used to the sound of that.

KatePOV-

''Okay, what's the matter?''

She and I are standing near the entrance of the restaurant, pointing people in the direction of where the reception will take place

Amber has been giving me the cold shoulder all day, replying in short answers with a harsh tone.

Still, and it may be trivial compared to all of the reasons that I am in love this woman, she looks so beautiful. Her navy, cap-sleeved, dress stops just above her knees, and fits her perfectly and her black, strappy heels make her legs look longer.

Long, dark hair falls over her shoulders, and the headband keeps it away from her face.

''Nothing.''

''You know I don't believe you,'' I lean against the wall next to the door, ''So you might as well tell the truth.''

''I'm fine, Kate,'' she rolls her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.

The height difference isn't much, she's 5'8 to my 5'11, and it doesn't take much to get her to look at me.

''What's going on, Amy,'' I use my nickname for her, ''Talk to me.''

''Does it upset you that Blair got married? I mean, I believe in myself and that I am loving and beautiful and worth it, but it's not like I forget you spent months creating schemes just to win her back.''

Oh. So that's what this is about.

''Yes, I tried for months to get her back. Ryder and I are both as guilty of making her choose as she is for delaying her choice, leading us both on. I do think what I did to her was worse. I convinced a girl to screw with her head, and she ended up giving her body image issues. And I wasn't faithful to her, only to you. There are many reasons I cheated: she was naive, I was bored. I'd been hurt before, and didn't want to get hurt again. But the real reason is that the physical want outweighed everything else. When I confessed, I told her 'I love you, too'. Then, I spent weeks telling her I didn't mean it, and she didn't mean it. Amber, I am not that person anymore.''

You're it for me.

''I know,'' she leans into me, ''I know you've changed. I just want to make sure that we're alright.''

''Of course. I'm happy for her, and for Ryder. Hopefully one day, we'll be Kate and Amber Smythe-Edwards.''

''Edwards-Smythe,'' she smirks, playing with the end of my ponytail.

''Fine,'' I kiss her soft, red lips, ''Edwards-Smythe.''

In fact, I'm saving up for a ring right now. The one you saw on that show and gushed about for hours.

''I love you,'' she sighs, kissing me gently, ''And you look so beautiful in this dress.''

It's what she picked out, black, longsleeved, and a short tulle skirt, with the black ballet heels I borrowed her hair.

''Love you, too, gorgeous,'' I move her hair to whisper in her ear, ''And if you need me to remind you of that when we get back to the apartment, we both know I am more than willing to.''

Her blush begins at her hairline, covering her face in a pink shade, and she clears her throat, ''I think I can agree to that.''

She breaks away, showing Mr. and Mrs. Anderson to the reception area, winking at me over her shoulder.

Yes, I am very lucky. No, I won't mess this up like I did with Blair. They're two different people. One's not better or worse, they're just different. Amber Edwards is the right women for me, balancing me out in the places that leave something to be desired, and complementing other areas.

I've found the one, so how could I do better?

BPOV-

''How do you feel?''

It's the father-daughter dance. She'd already danced with Kurt, and Ryder danced with his mom to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

Now, we're dancing to her favorite song, Your Song by Elton John, as Ryder sings.

Ryder, the guy who convinced Rory, Joe, Jake, and Hunter to play I Only Have Eyes for You, written by Harry Warren and lyricist Al Dubin, just because he knows she loves it.

''I feel wonderful,'' she lays her head on my shoulder, ''Thank you, daddy. But you don't have to worry anymore.''

I know.

''I'm your dad. I watched you grow from this tiny, fragile little baby into the strong, independent woman you are now. It was an honor to walk you down the aisle.''

And I know for a fact that Kurt mirrors my feelings.

''I know I haven't been able to give you everything you want. I couldn't afford to give you a Sweet 16 party like your friends had, or get your braces right away, and sometimes we had to live paycheck to paycheck-

''Dad, none of that stuff matters to me. Sure a party would have been nice, but I didn't need one. Most of that money went to buying me things I actually wanted, like dresses for dances, and things I needed. I know I had to stop taking lessons for a while, and there was a delay in getting me my braces. You gave me everything I needed, dad. And you sacrificed a lot for me. I was in a dark place a few years ago, a place full of this unshakeable feeling of unworthiness, and self-hatred, and body image issues. There are different reasons for why i put my body through what I did. I had a strong support system, but you were the one who held me when I almost relapsed. That isn't something I will forget. You're the best dad anyone could ask for.''

''Thank you,'' I kiss her head, trying to keep the tears at bay, ''You have no idea how much you mean to me.''

''Even when I make you mad,'' her voice cracks, and she wipes at her eyes.

''Even then,'' I nod with a laugh, ''I'm so proud of you, Blair.''

''You know what,'' she looks up at me, ''I'm proud of you, too. I love you, dad.''

As a parent, the love I have for all six of my children- and my seventh, unborn child- is unconditional. For years, though, I struggled with the idea that I wasn't a good enough dad. All I could do was try my best, especially given the circumstances under which I adopted Blair.

And now, I know my best was good enough.

RoryPOV-

''I can't feel my arm.''

Sugar stifles a laugh, shaking her head.

It's at the end of the day, when everything is cleaned up, and Ryder and Blair are on their two day getaway at a hotel, paid for by Quinn and Brody as a gift.

Sugar and I are laying across our bed, Finn and Wendy snuggled between us.

''Neither can I,'' she strokes Finn's hair lovingly, ''Not that I mind.''

''I had fun today,'' I shift so Wendy's head is on my shoulder, ''Ryder and Blair look so happy.''

And if my sister is happy, then I am, too.

''She was practically glowing,'' Sugar reveals quietly, ''It's nice that they finally both took the leap.''

She closes her eyes, running her hand through her hair.

''Why are you staring?''

''Do you wish we had waited to get married?''

It probably would have made things a lot easier. We probably would be more mature, and financially stable as well. It probably would have delayed us having kids, too.

Not that I don't love them more than anything, but I can't always give them the things that I want to. We have bills, food, clothing, emergencies...and- even though Sugar is getting more customers and responsibility- we don't always have the money together.

''I love you, alright? And I love this life. You're going to be a teacher, and I am going to be a designer and a stylist. We'll be getting a bigger apartment soon. And we can start the kids in daycare again, so my mom doesn't have to keep them and neither one of us has to work our schedules around anymore. We'll be here for them, of course, but I think being around kids their own age would be beneficial.''

She has a point. I thought the same thing. Plus, it may make the transition into preschool easier.

''I don't regret any of our decisions either, you know,'' I yawn, ''I love you and the kids. Things aren't always easy, but I don't want any of this to get messed up.''

She opens her eyes, staring at me intently.

''It's not going to be. I promise.''

Too simple sentences, and it does so much to calm me.

''I love you, Sugar.''

''I love you, too. Now, get some sleep.''

I close my eyes then, snuggling under the covers and attempting to get some sleep.

And, for the first time in a long time, it comes easily.

RyderPOV-

''This is nice.''

''Mhm,'' Blair presses against me, her back against my chest, ''It is.''

It's our wedding night, and my arm is wrapped around her waist, her thick curls pushed to the side so I can press a kiss to her neck.

''I love you so much,'' Blair closes her eyes, pulling the sheet up higher around us, ''Today was one of the best days of my life.''

She rolls over to face me, hazel eyes still bright and wide.

''I love you, too,'' I kiss her head, ''You look so pretty right now.''

Then again, you always do.

''And you're so smart and talented and loving.''

''I believe you said all of that when I told you something along the same lines, Ryder,'' she laughs, ''I wouldn't mind that being repeated again, though?''

''Oh, you'll definitely hear it again. After every fight, or whenever you feel insecure.''

''And I'll do the same for you. I'm just… yeah, I am really glad you're my husband now,'' she frowns a bit, ''Not looking forward to the fight, though.''

''We have plenty of time,'' I kiss her, pulling my wife closer when she deepens the kiss.

After all, we are spending the rest of our life together.

KPOV-

''You okay,'' I wrap my arm around my husband's middle as he stares up at the ceiling, arms folded behind his head.

''Just thinking.''

It's when everything has finally calmed down, and we've got the kids to sleep.

So now we can just… be.

''About what? Penny for your thoughts,'' I shift closer when he wraps an arm around me.

''I was just thinking: Blair and Rory were in bad places just a few years ago, and now they've both gotten married, and they're both raising families.''

''I know,'' I think of how the ten year old boy who brought so much happiness into my life is now experiencing that same loving warmth with his own children, and of the sixteen year old girl that entered my life at the same time as this wonderful man I'm cuddled up against, lighting up the world with her personality and smile.

''It gives me hope for Liam,'' Blaine continues, ''That he'll be in a much better place.''

Seeing his therapist has really helped him. He has come out of his shell at school. If there is a problem too big for him to handle, though, he comes to us.

''I want all of our kids to be happy, you know that, right?,'' I speak again when Blaine nods, ''And the innocence that Grace and Jacob have… I wish nothing could ever take that away from them. That nothing could ever hurt them.''

That they wouldn't be left with countless scars from people who don't understand them, who don't let them be who they are, who seek out to hurt them for being true to who the are.

But this world can be harsh, and neither one of us can protect any of those kids forever.

''When Rory confessed what really happened with Ryan, and when Liam told us how he felt he had a responsibility to his family that he couldn't ignore just to do what he wanted to do… it was like being back in highschool,'' I shake my head, ''When everything felt so hopeless, and the good things felt so far away. The fear and anger in their eyes.''

''I know,'' Blaine kisses my head, ''When I found out Blair was taking laxatives and diet pills, and starving herself, or eating and making herself vomit...''

He trails off, eyes closed, mouth in a tight line.

''And I don't want anyone to go through that,'' I sigh, ''Or anything else that can harm their health.''

''All we can do is try to help them avoid it, and be there for them if they can't.''

''Right,'' I whisper, wishing we could do more.

There's a long silence, before Blaine begins a new conversation.

''I love you so, so much. Life has thrown so much shit at us and we… we just make it through. I feel loved and protected with you. I was thinking about that during your dad and Carole's speech.''

''Funny. I was thinking the same thing about you,'' I look up into sleepy, hazel eyes, ''Like… even if you know that you can take care of yourself, it's nice to have someone around to lean on.''

''And we have such a beautiful, loving family,'' he kisses me, ''And we're adding to it.''

''Just think: next year this time, we'll be holding a baby with half of one of our genetics.''

I hope they have your curls and eyes and everything, really.

''Just think about how far we've come. A few years ago this time, we didn't even know eachother,'' he reminisces.

''My, how times have changed,'' I yawn.

''We'd better get to bed, We have to get up early to meet Regina.''

That's true, so I pull the blanket up around us, holding him close.

''Good night, Mr. Anderson-Hummel.''

He chuckles gently, hand stroking my back, ''Night. I love you.''

''Love you, too.''

And, with that, I fall into the best sleep I've had in a long time.

Next chapter- shopping for the baby, and deciding a name!
