A Jurassic trip to Mobius.
Chapter 5: Mobius High school and Metal talk.
"So, how you been?" Jess asked Nima and Atlanta as they and Gerry sat in the ARK, Shadow had his arms crossed and an angered look on his face, Maria and Molly looked at each other before walking up to Shadow, Gerald sat on a chair as he thought to himself.
"Fine" Nima replied "up until the point of seeing talking animals".
"Jess, words cannot describe what I am going to say to you" Shadow said angrily.
"Shadow, please listen to me" Jess said.
"No, no more listening" Shadow said "the ARK can't hold anymore occupants, if people see that there's more people here then they're going to get suspicious and-"
"Shadow, please my dad and friends stay here until Tails gets the machine done" Jess said, the ebony hedgehog stared at her angrily for a few seconds before nodding.
"Fine, just until the machine is done" Shadow said.
"Thank you Shadow!" Jess said as she rushed over and hugged her friend, only to annoy him.
"Okay, get off" he said as he pushed her off "just lead them to their rooms" Jess nodded and grabbed her dad's hand.
"Come on, this way!" she said as she led her dad down the hallway, Nima and Atlanta followed the two while Shadow grumbled some words to himself before walking away.
"Shadow, where are you going?" Maria asked.
"To find the doctor" Shadow said as he left the room.
"This won't end well" Gerald said.
Meanwhile…
"So Jess, how is that you are an animal?" Gerry asked his daughter.
"Actually dad, I'm a Mobian" Jess said "it's because of the chaos emerald I have and…The chaos emerald! I forgot to give it to Sonic and Tails!" she grabbed the blue chaos emerald from her pocket and held it.
"Chaos emerald?" Gerry asked.
"Yes! This is very important! I have to give it Sonic and Tails before Eggman-"
"Jess, calm down" Gerry said "you can give it to them tomorrow, but right now, we all need rest".
"But dad!"
"No buts! It's been a long day" Gerry said "let's just get to out rooms and get some rest" Jess looked at her dad before looking at the ground.
"Yes sir" she said, turning around and walking down the hall, Gerry stood in his spot and sadly looked at his daughter.
"Smooth move Harding" Nima said as she walked past Gerry.
"Look, I was only telling her that-"
"You need to listen to that girl!" Nima said "she's not going to be 14 forever! She's going to grow up and learn how to be responsible on her own! You aren't giving her that chance!" Gerry nodded and walked past her.
"Alright, I'll give her a chance" Gerry said.
"I knew you would crack if I talked to you" Nima said as she smirked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Gerry asked.
Meanwhile…
The doors to Eggman's base broke down by the force of Shadow's kick and slid across the room, the dark hedgehog walked into the darkened room that was given the slightest light from a small window, the chair in the middle of the room spun around to reveal Dr. Eggman with a sour look on his face.
"So, what gives you the idea to kick down my doors?" Eggman asked.
"Cut the questions doctor and give me answers!" Shadow demanded.
"Answers? Answers for what?" Eggman asked.
"Answers for Jess's friends and father's sudden appearance!" Shadow angrily said "tell me or I'll send a chaos spear straight to your heart!" he formed a chaos spear in his hands and raised it in the air, Eggman flinched a bit.
"I see you want the answers" Eggman said "you see, I am responsible for bringing them to our planet".
"Why would you do that?" Shadow asked.
"Gerry wanted his daughter and I wanted someone to destroy" Eggman said.
"But how come they didn't turn into Mobians like her?" Shadow asked.
"The chaos emerald is responsible for her transformation" Eggman said "she became a Mobian when she came into contact with the emerald, her father and friends did come into contact with the chaos emerald and remained in their normal forms, therefore, the transformation from human to Mobian did not work".
"I see" Shadow said "how can Jess change back?"
"That can be done once she returns to earth" Eggman said "once she is out of range of the emerald, she will return to normal".
"And out of my life?" Shadow asked.
"And out of your life" Eggman said as he walked towards a door and opened it to reveal Metal Sonic turned off "would you kindly do me a favor and get rid of Metal?"
"Why?" Shadow asked.
"He has betrayed me!" Eggman said "he went out with that lynx girl and I knew instantly, I knew that he has betrayed me! Get rid of him!" Shadow nodded and walked towards Metal Sonic, he grabbed him and turned around and walked away "be sure to make sure he's in the dump with the recycling center!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever" Shadow said as he walked out the base, Eggman only watched as the hedgehog walked out when he suddenly saw Metal's eyes flicker on and flickered off, the doctor only shrugged and went back to his duties. Shadow walked down the path of the forest as he carried the metallic hedgehog "I don't know why you went crazy" Shadow said "but getting rid of you is going to be a big relief to everyone!"
"Not today!" Metal Sonic said as he turned back on and flew out of Shadow's arms, the black blur flung a wave of chaos spears at the robot but Metal Sonic fly faster, Shadow jumped up in the air and sent a chaos blast towards Metal Sonic, Metal flew faster than his normal Mach 5 speeds and flew into space, Shadow fell to the ground and looked up in the air.
"This won't end well" Shadow said to himself.
The ARK…
Jess sat on her bed in her room as she read her book on Mobians, she was very interested in their history and lifestyle and she suddenly heard tapping on her glass window and looked to see Metal Sonic in the void of space, Jess quickly ran over to the window and tried to open it.
"It won't open!" she said, Metal Sonic nodded and began to cut a hole in the glass with his laser eyes until a perfect hole was created, the robot flew in through the hole and recreated it with his laser eyes that made pure glass "what are you doing here?" she asked.
"I came to talk to you" Metal Sonic said as he faced her "I don't think the date went well".
"You think?" Jess asked.
"Yes, and I think I know why" Metal Sonic said "it was because of my master and your father, they got in the way".
"First of all, my dad didn't get in the way, he was surprised to see me" Jess said "secondly, you're master tried to kill me, my dad and my friends! Where were you when I needed help?"
"I was obeying my master's orders" Metal Sonic said "I had no choice! If I disobeyed him, he would've shut me down for good!"
"Then why did you come here?" Jess asked.
"I escaped when he turned me off, he was going to have to send me to the junkyard! And believe me, it's the last place I wanted to go!" Metal Sonic said as he threw his hands in the air "are you testing me woman?!"
"No I am not!" Jess shouted.
"Jess! Who are talking to?" Gerry asked from behind the door.
"Just a friend!" Jess said before turning back to Metal "look Metal, if you're going to get angry at me and yell, then just go away".
"I don't want to get angry at you!" Metal Sonic said "ugh! I don't know why I'm acting like this! I'm usually a killing machine that would've torn you to shreds right now but I'm not!"
"Then how come?" Jess asked, Metal Sonic looked at her and sighed.
"Because I…I…I think I love you" Metal Sonic said, Jess's eyes bugged out of her head and her jaw fell, Metal Sonic only rubbed the back of his head and turned around and lowered his head in embarrassment "I guess I'll be going".
"Metal, wait" Jess said, Metal Sonic turned around to see Jess blushing "I…I can't believe you said that".
"I know, it is pretty wussy for a powerful robot like me" Metal Sonic said.
"No it's not" Jess said "I think it's beautiful" the lynx girl walked closer to him and kissed him on the metal cheek, creating a red substance in his metallic cheeks.
"I have to go" he said and turned and flew out the window, breaking it into thousands of pieces, Jess only looked on as Metal Sonic flew back down to Mobius.
"I can't believe it" Jess said to herself "he…He…" the door to her room opened and Gerry walked in to see the broken glass on the floor and Jess staring onto Mobius.
"Jess? What happened here?" Gerry asked his daughter, Jess didn't answer "Jess?"
"I'm sorry, what?" Gerry asked.
The next day….
Jess stood at the entrance of a large school with her hands behind her back and entered the school, when she got inside, she saw dozens of Mobian children and teenagers walking to class, she began to look around as if she were searching for someone.
"Hey Jess!" she suddenly heard a familiar voice and looked to her right to see Sonic and Tails walking towards her "how's it going?"
"Okay, I guess" Jess said as she shrugged "how's it going for you guys?"
"The usual, battling Eggman, saving the world and eating the occasional chili dog" Sonic said.
"In words, we're good" Tails said "your dad seemed pretty steamed yesterday when I told him about the device".
"Well that's my dad, you can't stop him" Jess said as she smiled, Sonic gave a laugh while Tails rolled his eyes and sighed deeply.
"I don't she was joking, Sonic" Tails said.
"I'm sorry, but it's too funny!" Sonic said.
"Sorry Jess, Sonic doesn't get what's really humor, and what's not" Tails said.
"It's okay, it is pretty funny" Jess said, the school bell rang instantly and three began to walk to class.
"So, what did you think of your first day on Mobius?" Sonic asked.
"It was pretty fun" Jess said "besides my date getting ruined".
"Date?" Tails asked.
"Yeah, I had a date with Metal Sonic" Jess said.
"Metal Sonic? Why did he ask you out on a date?" Sonic asked.
"I don't know, he just did" Jess said as the three came up to the class door and opened it, the three were soon greeted by Amy, Cream, Shadow, Knuckles, Silver, Espio, Maria, Rouge and Blaze.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Sonic asked as he high-fived everyone.
"Not much, just the usual" Knuckles replied.
"What's the usual?" Jess asked.
"Just our thing, get into a crazy adventure every weekend" Amy said "it's really fun! Last week, Sonic battled a bunch of Zeti, and-"
"Everyone, please take your seats" a voice said, everyone did as so and faced the teacher, revealing himself to be Vector with glasses.
"Why does Vector wear glasses?" Jess whispered to Espio.
"He believes they will make smarted" Espio replied "trust me, they don't".
"I heard that!" Vector said.
"Sorry" Espio said, Vector nodded and turned the chalkboard and wrote down a few history facts, Jess only looked out the window and sighed, she began to wonder how her friends were back on earth and what would the police say if everyone found out she, and her father and friends, was missing.
"Hey Jess, you okay?" Sonic asked her, Jess turned her attention to him with a look of mild sadness.
"I'm fine, just missing my planet" she said.
"Don't worry, Tails will get the machine down in no time!" Sonic said.
"Yeah, it won't be long" Tails said "hey, about Metal Sonic…"
"Class! Pay attention!" Vector said, spooking Tails in the process.
"Sorry sir!" Tails, Sonic and Jess said.
"One more time and it's detention!" Vector said.
"Whatevs croc" Sonic said.
"That's it! Detention!" Vector said.
"What?! No!" Sonic said before lowering his head to his shoulders and moaned "I hate school".
"Welcome to my world" Jess said.
Later…
Jess, Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Maria, Amy, Rouge, Cream, Silver, Espio and Knuckles stood towards the P.E. teacher, along with Sally, Rotor, Scourge, Mighty, Fiona, Molly, Tikal, Antione, Bunnie, Charmy, Big, Marine and Omega, each of the students were being given instructions to…
"Dodge ball!" the teacher said as he raised a ball, a few of the students groaned while Knuckles, Sonic and Shadow gave whoops.
"Oh yeah! The sport of the gods!" Knuckles said as he and Sonic high-fived.
"This should get interesting" Shadow said as he eyed Sonic evilly.
"Yeah, real interesting" Sonic said as an evil thought of pelting Shadow with hundreds of dodge balls filled his mind, he chuckled evilly and rubbed his hands together, Amy and Maria rolled their eyes at Sonic.
"Boys, they're just so complicated" Amy said.
"Agreed" Maria said.
"Alright class, get ready….Set…GO!" the teacher shouted, everyone soon went onto their opposites of the room, each of the students grabbed their dodge balls and readied for the battle, Sonic was the first to throw a dodge ball at Shadow, only for it to be caught by the ultimate life-form.
"What the?" Sonic gasped.
"Out!" the teacher shouted, Sonic groaned and walked to the bleachers, his head lowered in his arms in disappointment.
"I hate today" Sonic said.
"Eat dodge balls!" Knuckles shouted at Mighty as he threw dozens of the balls at the armadillo, Mighty was soon covered in the balls while Knuckles continued to throw balls at him.
"Out!" the teacher said and Mighty walked out of the dodge balls and joined Sonic, students left and right on the sides of the room were soon hit with dodge balls and were counted out of the game until only Jess and Scourge were left.
"Looks like I get to win this game easily" Scourge said, Jess growled and threw her ball at him, hitting him in the chest and knocking the air out of him.
"Out!" the teacher said, Scourge groaned and got up and walked to the bleachers, the teacher qqScourge) cheered for her, Jess smiled at her friends and waved at them.
"Something tells me that this day just got better" she said to herself.
Later at lunch….
Students gathered in the lunch room as they ate their lunch and chatted with each other about qaqaqa
"How come you guys sit here?" Jess asked.
"There are some things that Tails should not hear from the other students" Sonic said.
"Sonic, I'm eight years old, I can handle those words" Tails said as he rolled his eyes.
"Not when Scourge is around" Sonic said "speaking of which, where is Scourge?"
"Right here big blue!" the four turned their attention to see Scourge and Fiona standing next to the wall "and I'm here to get a second round against that no good lynx!"
"Hey!" Jess said.
"You're not going to hurt her Scourge!" Sonic said.
"If want to get to her, you have to go through us!" Knuckles said as he pounded his fists together.
"Yeah! So get lost!" Tails said, Scourge gave a chuckle and did a spin-dash at Knuckles, only to be grabbed and thrown into the wall, Scourge got up and did another spin-dash at Tails, this time he succeeded and Tails was slammed into a table.
"Tails!" Sonic gasped.
"Hey!" Jess said as she lunged at Scourge, tackling him to the ground.
"Help Fi!" Scourge shouted.
"Hang on Scourge!" Fiona said as she ran to her boyfriend and tried hard to get Jess off of him, only to be grabbed by Knuckles and punched in the face, Sonic did a homing attack and attacked Scourge in the back, sending him knocking to the ground.
"That is enough!" a voice boomed, the fighting teens looked to see the principal standing in the doorway of the cafeteria with his arms crossed.
"Principal Clark!" Sonic said.
"I don't want to hear whatever you have to say Mr. Hedgehog, if you and your friends are responsible for this fight, then you all shall have detention after school!" the principal said.
"What?! No!" Sonic said.
"Nothing more! After school detention! Be sure to be there, all of you" the principal said as he walked away.
"Way to go big blue" Scourge said as he and Fiona walked to their table.
"Yeah, nice one" Fiona said.
"Hey, it ain't so easy on me either" Sonic said "I got detention from Vector and now this!"
"You just can't help getting into trouble, can't you?" Jess asked.
"Shut up" Sonic said.
